1241  Economy / Economics / Re: Some chinese guy bought most expensive face mask in the world $1.5 million. on: August 15, 2020, 03:31:31 AM
This video has more not like than like. I also disagree with this extravagance. A luxury tax should be applied to these face masks.
In this way, the contribution collected could reach the people most affected by Covid19 in that country.
1242  Economy / Economics / Re: Are people losing faith from centralized organizations? on: August 15, 2020, 02:46:28 AM
In Venezuela we already suffered with long lines in front of the banks before the pandemic. We now queue to withdraw ~ $ 1 daily on the week of banking activity. Because they are variants (one week the bank works and the next week not). Generally, the poorest people line up to buy food cheaper. It is a sad situation!
There are people who do not keep money in banks, as there are others who prefer to use the bank to use the electronic channels of online banking.

I do not know another anecdote like these but these guys today are remembered as great legends of Bitcoin.

They showed us the path we are traveling. They also show us that we must continue to make this forum the best place to talk about Bitcoin.

In the midst of this crisis we are making it our refuge. I think so.

1244  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC Can show economy on: August 14, 2020, 10:23:44 AM
When I see an advertisement by Galaxy fund management and which in turn has been endorsed by Barry Silvet, a major cryptocurrency investor. I tell myself let's continue believing in Bitcoin because it will be developing an important role in the economy. It is true that we are concerned about the whales and the instability of prices and we are alert to the risk. Since we are in crypto we must not give up. I think better times are ahead.

1245  Economy / Economics / Re: Wealth distribution, and tragedy of the commons. on: August 14, 2020, 09:07:51 AM
The problem of poor people is that the rulers of their countries do not plan strategies that allow them to get out of poverty. They are ignored for lack of policies so that the entire population is included.
A good example of leadership is the UAE, which manage its wealth by including its entire population under four pillars: trade, transport, tourism, and technology.

I love limited series of all sorts of coins - collectible and for festive events. But one of my favorites is the Austrian 100 euro with a Fox family! Some countries still have coins with foxes, but this one is my favorite.

Thanks for sharing. They are beautiful collectible coins. I wanted to know more and found the link to the source. On the website there are a description of these coins and others for those who like to collect real works of art.
Nature and animals are a gift from God  for everyone. Happy who knows how to appreciate all these blessings.

Loma besides being a great athlete. He shows his generosity by reducing his own purse so that the fight with Teofimo López would take place. He is a complete champion.

1248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase CEO Says Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Must Evolve to Reach Mass Adoption on: August 10, 2020, 05:01:49 AM
It is true that cryptocurrencies must evolve so the CEO of Coinbase is right. Every time I listen to Mass Adoption, only I think. How? It takes more than desire, education and tools for people. Countries with poor technological infrastructure could not announce Mass Adoption. If people need the internet to access technology. Only if the most technologically gifted countries take the first step in supporting Mass Adoption of cryptocurrencies, would they be a great example for other nations to replicate around the world.
1249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Las Vegas Casinos Scared of Lawsuits on: August 09, 2020, 01:20:05 AM
With Covid19 it is not easy to predict and state where you can be infected. If when visiting a Casino you observe that all sanitary measures are followed for your safety and that of all. Your visit could be a success but there will always be someone who wants to benefit from this situation if He/She turns out positive in some of these Casinos and issue a claim to profit.
1250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why most people think Bitcoin is a scam? on: August 08, 2020, 11:44:59 PM
I think most people hold their opinion that Bitcoin is a scam because there are malicious actors who commit illicit acts with the idea of filling their bags with Bitcoin. But it is no secret to anyone that it is a technology that requires a basic knowledge and that it must be handled with caution, especially volatility.
1251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment plan on: August 08, 2020, 11:16:48 PM
Bitcoin and Ether are the cryptos of my preference to invest. I also think that they are the most popular for everyone. If anyone wants to learn about the crypto space these are the first currencies they should know first. I started with these two coins, I have a token based on EOS that I only hold waiting for its maturity.
1252  Economy / Economics / Re: Since jobs are unlikely to return, Do u think there will be a 3rd $1200 stimulus on: August 08, 2020, 10:46:04 PM
The situation in the United States warrants taking these measures or any other to help the people who need it most in that nation. The contagion by Covid19 does not show that it will decrease soon there as we can see it with the new cases of infected people that are registered daily.
Unemployment is very high and to survive the most vulnerable population needs help from the government.
Only a Covid19 cure will bring us all back to normal.
1253  Economy / Economics / Re: Which currency will dominate the crypto market? Please vote! on: August 08, 2020, 10:20:07 PM
My selection was bitcoin, ether and usdt are the ones that I think will be leading the market for a long time. In fact, the most popular pairs are BTC, USDT, ETH and it is good that it is that way because we can encourage more people to join our space to learn about these important digital assets.
1254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Network fee is killing my small profit on: August 08, 2020, 09:34:08 PM
The same thing happens to me when I exchange Bitcoin to my local currency at this time. But to ease the burden of fees a bit, I exchange it only twice a month and do it to cover my daily needs.
As you do work as a trader that is a big problem because you lose your profit. We are experiencing difficult times, high fees and inflation in the economy.
1255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Masters to specialize in Crypto/Bitcoin/Blockchain? on: August 08, 2020, 08:19:37 PM
I agree with Haunebu, Cornell University has earned the recognition of being the best in crypto education in the world.
You have made the right decision the future of the crypto space is finance.
I am coincidentally following the Avalanche project led by a Cornell professor Emin Gün Sirer.

I share these links. I hope they are useful.

1256  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Google Advertises Uniswap Phishing Scams on: August 08, 2020, 06:27:18 PM
Still a few hours ago the ads were on Google because I checked them while reading this thread to find out what was going on with Uniswap.

As we can see, this BeInCrypto article has reviewed what happened two days ago.
It is estimated that the perpetrators of the fraud took 1.5 ETH.
Unfortunately the criminals obtained the private key or seed phrase from the victims.

Google has not made any statement in this regard.
Google should definitely improve its Google Adsense product and check the vulnerability that we have observed and make it more secure because anyone can illegally profit without Google being able to stop it before committing the fraud.

1257  Economy / Economics / Re: In the pandemic economy, tech companies are raking it in on: August 07, 2020, 09:57:51 PM
Just as these technological giants are winning in the middle of this pandemic. Because we have to stay at home as long as possible and IT workers now do their jobs from home.

They also make important donations to the fight against the coronavirus and most recently the fight against racial justice.

1258  Economy / Economics / Re: Second Stimulus check - What are you going to do with it? on: August 07, 2020, 08:34:32 PM
I don't live in the US. But in my country we also receive a little help and what little we receive we spend on food.

Do a search and I found a census conducted of Americans and published on June 24, 2020.

In order what the majority of respondents answered.
Food
Rent payment
Payment of basic services (gas, electricity, cable, internet and cellphone).
Personal care and clothing.
Purchase of TVs, and other electronics

How Are Americans Using Their Stimulus Payments?
1259  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter Hackers Arrested! [Updated] on: August 07, 2020, 06:53:50 PM
How the FBI tracked down the Twitter hackers
There is no perfect crime.
The ZDNet writing team put together a timeline with the documents filed in court by the DOJ.

Teenagers made a lot of mistakes. Here KYC demonstrated why it is important to apply it.
In the hacker circle they feel the need to get popular by making a remarkable attack and spreading it.

We can see the vulnerability that is in the internet. But important because developers will be working to make platforms more secure.

1260  Economy / Economics / Re: What should you learn so you never get affected by a economic crises ? on: August 07, 2020, 12:27:17 AM
I think of two things that the current crisis has taught us that we must save money to act in times of contingency.
It is also time for everyone to have basic knowledge of the use of devices (smartphones, tablets, laptops and PCs).
And it is there that governments must be emphatic in working on technological advances so that they are within the reach of their population to reduce poverty.

If we focus on which large companies are making decisions where their employees will now work remotely for a long time. Then we realize that we are moving into the digital age that is being created as a result of a crisis. This experience will be replicated in other companies around the world, so it is important that technology is available to everyone.
