I have some pac coin and some sprouts (couple of million of each). What is the best way to exchange them for strong hands, and do you guys think that would be a good idea? I really don't see pac and sprouts go anywhere or am I wrong?
Do you really want to purchase these tokens? I also have a pack and they develop well and trade well, I think they just need some time to get acquainted with the market, I do not recommend now to sell - the price is three times lower than the peak.

But it's also a fallacy to believe that a former peak is always a good indicator of where the price will go again in the future. Sometimes these coins have on massive pump and they'll never get back to where they were.

Is BSX bank a completely centralized service where people give away control over their private keys?

Ugh, never ever heard of that exchange. Does anyone here have any experience with them? Are they trustworthy and does everything work fine?

They are trustworthy or at least i didn't have serious problems with them. The customer support section is slow, but when i bought coins on their platform, all of my withdrawals went through successfully.

Ok then I might go for it. Couldn't give it a try as I had lots of stuff to do these days. Will share my thoughts / experience if anything noteworthy happens.

Did this shit coin even get listed somewhere? If not that would mean the dev abandoned this before even being able to dump his coins Cheesy
605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Wanchain - Connecting blockchains to exchange value on: March 02, 2018, 10:34:04 PM
i been waiting to buy this coin for awhile. It does suck that the few i bought of delta can't be swapped. I hear the CEO bullshit ass excuse about keeping it fair, but if that was the intention then why did they utilize ETH token in the first place. Especially knowing the ease of transferring the token to a decentralized exchange.  They could have created a placeholder token on their platform that couldn't be accessed till the new wanchain coin is available and swapped.

No disrespect, but it was pretty much stated from the jump that EDelta tokens were no good.  Even if a placehodler token is made, there will always be some work around that scammers will try to make to sell the rights to that and people will lose their shirts that way.  Eth tokens weren't the problem, its the mentality of scammers and swindlers that is the problem, and as long as they can think up elaborate schemes people will get got.  It just so happens it was via EDelta this time.

No disrespect but i invested in Tezo and Exscudo and they all have placeholders and i don't see the scam involved if you buy someone's acct and they sign over the email associated to that acct to you. You will not lose the Tezo and Exscudo that you bought.

However, utilizing ETH token and blaming individuals that decide to sell their token early on a decentralized exchange( which they facilitated by using ETH token) and then blaming the buyer who might not have known about any prior statement is utter bullshit. And why the fuck wasn't the token locked if that was the issue.

Also, am not sure how selling a token you paid for during ICO on a decentralized exchange ( b/c it was made available for you to sell) makes you a scammer/swindler.

I think it makes you a scammer if you sold tokens because anyone who was in the ico was told lots of times that you should not buy or sell the tokens as they won't be swapped for wan coins later on. Unfortunately people who weren't in the ico and who bought them on ED may not have known this, so yes you are right, the tokens should have been locked to avoid any confusion.

I understand your position but they have always been very open about their approach so this should usually minimize the drama tbh!

If this drama is true it should have been avoided. Letting people purchase anything worthless on EhterD. is a very bad move. If they want to rescue the project they should present a rescue plan.

Tokens should have been locked really. Some ICO's do that, it would have avoided any confusion.

It is a rat move and nothing else. If people with less knowledge are automatically put at a disadvantage this project will go nowhere. You can't exploit the fact that those who didn't have a clue are going to be ripped off.

I agree its a scummy thing to do,  They should honor the tokens bought on etherdelta or innocent people who didn't know anything or going to lose their money.

Definitely a difficult situation now that doesn't shed a good light on Wanchain. The crypto community will talk about this issue if they talk about Wanchain... It should really be solved as fairly as possible.
606  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Luxcess Group INVESTMENT PLATFORM with TRACK RECORD from 2014. on: March 02, 2018, 10:31:39 PM
I believe that in any case, investors would not be scared off by the minimum amount of investment. Nevertheless, it is remarkable that the Luxcess team went to meet its investors and reduced the amount of investment. Thank you for what you think about us.

It's good to have a healthy decentralization of ownership as the market will move more gradually if there aren't just a few people who could heavily dump. And if you have more people involved it also means more people have an interest in the project succeeding so they will spread the word.
607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] Luxcess Group INVESTMENT PLATFORM with TRACK RECORD from 2014. on: February 28, 2018, 08:30:13 PM
Yes exactly. Team of professionals.
I really like that in 2018 most new Luxcess offices will be implemented. In which will be support and advice on any issues.

Earlier in the thread a lot of people were fuding the idea of so many offices so soon, but i really hvae always liked the idea of the group having a brick and mortar location available to customers and investors that they can actually put some faces in person to their crypto investments and its not just a big shade of secrecy like some other crypto groups, if luxcess can pull it off it will pretty much be one of the first groups to do so.

There is no way they are going to open all the office they have planned, I really like Luxcess and I think they will be successful but they are never opening all those offices. Theres no point in opening them all either.
There are going to be opened offices in Dubai, Belgrade, Zagreb, London, Milan, Moscow, Berlin, Amsterdam, Singapore and Sidney. Total amount is 10. It'll be quite difficult to control all af this items, but it's not so many of them.

It's a lot for a project of this size, I actually think they are planning to open twelve if you include the offices in Slovenia and LA.

In my opinion thats a lot for Luxcess to manage in the space of 2 years, I'm not denying Luxcess will be a great success which I sincerely mean but I think the offices are a bit farfetched.

As i said further up opening up worldwide branches (10) is a big undertaking in 2 years, but that said it doesn't mean their planning to open big 10-50 person branches worldwide, for all we know their going to look into renting a small amount of office space or even just a frontend space in industrial park so that they have a physical location for meetings and for clientele to be able to visit and get some input on. If their financial plan is where its supposed to be i think they can do it and work it well, as long as they handle it right, personally i think if they handle each country independently and allow the team in each location a bit of autonomy to run like their own luxcess group it should work out well.

Don't get me wrong it will be an out of this world achievement if Luxcess pulls this off, I know if they rent small office spaces this could be affordable, however they would have to hire staff, pay rents, be compliant in each country which cost a lot in legal fees.

Beyond doubt these guys are on a life changing mission. If they make it happen we will all benefit big time. And in particular investors will have a lot of joy over the course of the next few months/years.

609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: STRONGHANDS - Community Take Over on: February 28, 2018, 08:27:07 PM
The problem that I see with coinswaps is that the price never seems to correct the right way. I've seen this happen in other coins. If you do a coinswap 5 million to 1, that would technically mean that the new coinsupply is a lot lower and the price of that new coin should be 5 million times higher and that might not happen

if one Stronghands would be $0,000001 for example, the new coins should be worth $5   I don't see this happen really.  So a coinburn/swap could seriously affect marketcap

What do you think about that?

Why should a coin swap actually affect the market cap? There is no single fundamental element changing, and accordingly there shouldn't be a change in the market cap.
610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: STRONGHANDS - Community Take Over on: February 24, 2018, 08:57:00 PM
I must say that I follow the news but I'm still finding it hard to get the right information. Heres what I've found, hope I got it now.

Stronghands as we know it today will continue to exist

StronghandsMN (masternode currency) wil be created and you can get those coins if you swap your current Stronghands to that new coin on a 5.000.000 : 1  ratio.  So if you have 10 million Stronghands, in the new coin you will have only 2 coins.

What I'm having a hard time is finding out what this will do to the price.  will the price of 1 SHMN coin be 5 million times higher?  I'm a little concerned because there is also a coinswap going on at Paccoin to $Pac with a 1000:1 ratio.

The problem is however that the price of the new coin is no way near x1000. So you swap your coins and then they are worth less actually, people are selling the new coins for less than x1000 value so I see that as a loss right.
The price of the coin will increase as well 1 = 5 000 000 000 this will allow the coin to climb into the  top coinmarket - new buyers will come. Nobody will invest in a coin until it is last, and if the coin shoots to the 300th place, there will be a lot of people willing to buy it - there will be more turnover, and its price will grow more.

This is a very good move - fewer coins - more opportunities to arrange a pamp.

It isn't dependent on the numbers you showed us. If the market wants to send this to the moon it will do it. I hope it will happen and I get paid for the believe and energy I put into ths.

when will the app be in the games store for androids?
Thank you

If everything goes to schedule and according to their road map the app release should be around June 2018 with the Royal platform Mobile App.

You can check more detail on there https://icobench.com/ico/luxcess-group/ratings review or alternatively go directly to there website Smiley

I thought, in June comes out the demo version and then they test until September if everything works well. The start date for the platform should be October 1st.

Only 4 days until the ICO starts, get ready :-)

For me, its really confusing. Why Luxcess is having demo version now whereas it is claimed earlier that they have working business from 2014? Or am I missing something here or messing up something? Please clear that confusion..
That's not quite right. The members of group have the trading and investing experience since 2014. This experience let them be sure in successful profit increasing of invested capital.

They are in the process of transferring their knowledge an technology into the blokchain area. That can be very difficult and we should be patient.
613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TZC] TrezarCoin Super-Secure-PoW/PoS on: February 24, 2018, 08:48:31 PM
I agree. But then again, some more robustness would be nice.

@Noruka:
AFAIK, such improvements are on the docket. Unfortunately, some of the issues have been tricky to reproduce in development environments, so it's been a difficult process to debug. But should be coming down the pipeline.

Not sure what other issues you are referring to, but the one where the wallet is fatally compromised if the computer is shutdown improperly or locks up is pretty easy to reproduce. I'm no programmer, but it seems to me this is the result of leaving files open that have been written to/modified, rather than only opening them for long enough to write/update then close them again.

Also, I am going to reiterate my earlier comments to this thread about the absolutely useless data reported in the Penrose triangle: even after reading the whitepaper I still have no idea what, "inputs weighing x coin days," means; this bunch of gobblydegook that only a C programmer could love should be replaced with something like, "estimated daily* chance of receiving a block from staking: %"

Basically, as long as it is made clear that receiving a block from staking is a probabilistic event, and not something guaranteed to happen after x days with n coins, then there shouldn't be too much confusion. Frankly, arguing that your clients/customers/users are too stupid to understand what you are offering never struck me as sound business (even if it is true...).

* - or weekly, monthly, etc...

Sorry, I was referring to a different bug--not the one you described.
And yes, that one should be more straightforward and it is being worked on AFAIK.

Your input about the wallet information output is duly noted--a few other people have had similar thoughts.
I am not aware of this being planned for the next update, but it is something that is being mentioned periodically as something to improve sooner than later.

And finally, I'm not sure what you mean by "arguing that your clients/customers/users are too stupid to understand"...
I don't recall any messages, particularly recently, implying anything like that?  Huh

I personally agree, for what it's worth, and hope that the documentation and software will continue to improve such that we can serve a reasonable lowest-common-denominator of users.  Smiley

Your answer is much appreciated. I am good for now and my intention isn't to put any pressure on you. Just keep going as you did but I would like to see those issues resolved if you find the time as I am not the only one suffering from it. Again, keep up the good work! Smiley
614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] IPBC | NOW LIVE | NO PREMINE | NO ICO | FIRST MEDIA MINING PLAYER on: February 24, 2018, 08:45:03 PM
Livecoin is not owned by IPBC (as far as I know). It's just the first marketplace listing IPBC. I'm pretty sure there will follow others soon. If you have any problems with livecoin, contact livecoin.

"Recovering" transcations is kind of a bad term. If you send a transaction to a wallet, it gets there. Like a transfer to a bank account. Because livecoin seem to need a payment id there could be complications (on exchangers side, but also on client side). So you can contact livecoin with the transaction hash, so he can assign the transaction to your account.

If you want to test if the transactions itself work, just create a second wallet and send. You will see, it works. Even with anon level. Maybe you have to wait for client (IPBC wallet) to clear/reset the fields.
I just tested it with Level 5 with and without payment id and with level 0 with payment id.

Just for future cases.

The problem is the lack of alternatives. Livecoin isn't really the best place to trade at ad if there is trouble, it is in the best interest of our coin to solve the problem.
615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Dark Matter | X11 POW/POS | LAUNCHED | on: February 22, 2018, 06:55:59 PM
Am I getting the maths wrong or are you specifications wrong? 25000 blocks with a block reward of 5000 equal 125 million coins, whereas you say that the maximum from POW is 70 million coins.
616  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] IPBC | NOW LIVE | NO PREMINE | NO ICO | FIRST MEDIA MINING PLAYER on: February 22, 2018, 06:52:49 PM
I sent 110 coins to livecoin without payment id what will happen

The payment id is required.

But that doesn't necessarily mean that they are lost, does it? Couldn't livecoin recover those coins from their main wallet? I think they stating somewhere that recovery costs a fee, but it is possible as far as I know. Try to get in touch with them.

Ugh, never ever heard of that exchange. Does anyone here have any experience with them? Are they trustworthy and does everything work fine?

everything in terms of trading works fine at tradeogre, the don't have customer support and sometimes the order placement sell/buy section goes down for maintenance. Else everything works just fine. Its been 4 month since the inception of this coin. In coming times. FBF will be on more exchanges.

Hi combat007, thank you for letting us know. I am always a bit hesitant when it comes to brand new exchanges or the ones I have never heard of. Might give it a try during the next few days, but would prefer to see FBF listed elsewhere asap.
619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][TZC] TrezarCoin Super-Secure-PoW/PoS on: February 21, 2018, 10:52:33 PM
@dev: found a minor issue.

after you had a bluescreen or a freezed computer the trezar wallet crashes on startup. you have to resync the entire chain. this is the only wallet with such issues.

There are a lot of such wallets. Some are more resistant to falling systems, some less resistant.

It's indeed very annoying. But isn't there some bootstrap file available for the blockchain so you don't have to download it entirely from scratch?

Yes, this does happen to some wallets and it does appear related to ungraceful wallet shutdowns (eg, PC power failures, etc.). The dev team has acknowledged this concern and have expressed that it is on the radar for future improvement.

In the meantime, most users have had great success using the following suggestions:
  • Run the wallet with the -rescan and/or -reindex parameters (be aware reindex may take many minutes possibly 20+ for some).
  • Backup wallet.dat and rename or move the /data folder. This is like a reinstall and will re-download the blockchain. When it completes, close wallet and swap out wallet.dat and then reopen application.

People have also suggested periodically making a copy of the (I believe) /blktree and /blocks folder to keep around as a semi-bootstrap to shorten resync times.
You could also try simply backing up the entire /data folder (which contains the folders above) periodically.

Best of luck!

Is there any estimation from the devs when they will find the time to improve the situation? I feel like many newbies will give up very quickly if they can't get the wallet to run properly and that means forgone potential for the community to grow.

while im glad i kept some ion, it sucks i cant trade it anywhere but fake/scam bittrex.. $5.60 an ion is beyond insane, never thought it would still be around.

bittrex STOLE the last of the paycoin/ion that Garza gave us , i saved one for safe keeping $20 floor :\ pfft ...unreal this scam still trades!!

What do you mean by bittrex stole it? Did they just not let you withdraw your coins? You could take action against them I believe if that is really the case.

yep the SEC is going to stomp bittrex into the ground simply over ION alone Josh Garza did a great move here? :\ grrr wtf!!!

If that was really true than those rumors would be all over the place on bitcointalk and people would withdraw their funds like crazy. But that doesn't happen right now.
