Is it just my imagination or does gorgon666 appear to also be Quickseller?

~BCX~

It's not just your imagination.  gorgon666 was outed as yet another QS alt some months ago.
102  Other / Meta / Re: Q: Should Lauda *really* be a moderator of bitcointalk A: no on: December 12, 2016, 05:03:38 PM
^^^This is not a thread where alts should be piling in to artificially reinforce a position,  either.  Just sayin'.
Which alts are piling in to artificially reinforce a position?

Lauda is selling her signature space at elevated rates. Lauda is also leaving negative ratings for accounts most likely to wish to join signature campaigns under the guise of leaving negative ratings for spammers (not scammers), and alts of scammers without properly vetting the information. By leaving negative ratings for accounts likely to wish to sell their signature, she is reducing the number of potential sellers of signature space, increasing the value of her signature space.

Lauda is also selling her services as a signature campaign manager and has similar conflicts.

Maybe Quickseller is having a hard time selling signature space these days (-117 trust!).  Or maybe Lauda is neg-repping all his alts?  I dunno.

I admit I do find it satisfying that while QS can still troll and troll and troll, at least no one takes it seriously anymore.  Can you guys believe this dude was once on default trust?
Please stop posting nonsense in this thread. Just because you are writing a worthless school paper on speech analysis does not make you an expert in figuring out who is behind various online identities.

You're trying too hard. The amount of butthurt exuded betrays you.

Zzzactly!

That always makes gambling more fun!
104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : now with added CLAMs : Play or Invest on: December 08, 2016, 09:21:12 PM
Any plans of adding auto-rolling?

Not really. It seems like a silly idea to me.

There's a 1% house edge. There's no winning strategy. The attraction of the site is that it's fun to take a gamble, to see if you win or lose. Why would you want to have a bot play for you, when it's almost guaranteed to lose in the long run?

In fact, it *is* guaranteed to lose in the long run, as long as you choose a sufficiently large interpretation of 'long run', like, say, infinitely large.  Wink

Well I'v found a bug where it says you can get red tagged by not accepting campaign manager decisions and being a pain in the a**.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=851646

You have a creative usage of the word "bug" here.  Here's the way this is supposed to work, if you don't like/trust the feedback given by 'yahoo62278', you should remove him from your trust list (ie, write "~yahoo62278" in your trust list).  If other people agree with you that yahoo62278 isn't leaving trustworthy feedback, they'll remove him too.
106  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dragon's Tale - a Massively Multiplayer Online RPG/Casino on: December 06, 2016, 07:59:18 PM
Is this game working yet?
Wanted to give it a try during the Christmas holidays for the next two weeks.
Any word from the developers when it will be available again?

Still working, has been working every single time I've tried it over the last 5 years with the one or two exceptions (usually less than 1 day) when there was a DDOS attack.  The recent posts in this thread about DDOS were completely false, as far as I can tell.  Every single time that person said "site down" when I tried it I found I could quickly log in without issue.  I just logged in again now, still no problems.

BTW, anyone want to buy my level 8 account (half way to level 9), let me know.  I never use it anymore.
107  Other / Meta / Re: Marketplace trust on: December 01, 2016, 11:51:56 PM
I have a question...
So who can give me negative trust?
Because obviously only few people can, also i dont know who can give me positive trust.
Any answers?
Every forum member can leave you any type of trust (positive, neutral, negative). However, only trust from DT1 and DT2 members is visible by default and thus influences your trust rating (as viewed by people that don't use a custom trust list). All other trust ratings are 'untrusted'. Here is the current list of DT1 members:

BadBear (1)

Suggested reading: Trust Vocabulary.

This will help reduce confusion when posting about the trust system and/or who is in the default trust network.

"dT1" and "DT2" are made up words and have no official meaning

Lol, 'no official meaning'.  As if QS pronouncing something as "official" would give it "official meaning".  Always playing the king.  In case QS is truly ignorant about what is meant by "DT1" and "DT2", let's go ahead and define it like this:

DT1 is the list of people trusted by "Default Trust".
DT2 is the list of people trusted by someone on DT1.

Given this information, I imagine even Quickseller could guess what would be meant by a "made up word like" DT3, although, unless he pronounces it, he certainly won't consider such a meaning to be "official".  lmao

109  Other / MultiBit / Re: MultiBit on: November 09, 2016, 05:20:20 PM
You shouldn't have to run gpg as su.  Just FYI.

Hi,i can't check the gpg sig of the 0.4.1 hd (linux version)

This is what i get from linux terminal

sudo gpg --verify multibit-unix-0.4.1.sh.asc
gpg: assuming signed data in `multibit-unix-0.4.1.sh'
gpg: Signature made Thu 29 Sep 2016 05:05:55 PM UTC using RSA key ID A3606A58
gpg: Can't check signature: public key not found

So i downloaded the 0.3.0 and everything seems right

sudo gpg --verify multibit-hd-unix-0.3.0.sh.asc
gpg: assuming signed data in `multibit-hd-unix-0.3.0.sh'
gpg: Signature made Sun 17 Apr 2016 10:28:29 AM UTC using RSA key ID 23F7FB7B
gpg: Good signature from "Jim Burton (multibit.org developer) <jim618@fastmail.co.uk>"
gpg: WARNING: This key is not certified with a trusted signature!
gpg:          There is no indication that the signature belongs to the owner.
Primary key fingerprint: 299C 423C 672F 47F4 756A  6BA4 C197 2AED 79F7 C572
     Subkey fingerprint: 4A71 A836 F572 01B4 D088  7D60 0820 A658 23F7 FB7B

EDIT:nevermind,0.4.1 is not signed anymore by Jim Burton,i didn't know he sold his software to keepkey

111  Other / Meta / Re: PSA: This Place is being moderated by TradeFortress! on: November 01, 2016, 04:44:47 PM
The moderators should go on the record to say the exact reason why they received these payments. If they refuse then everyone has every reason to be suspicious of the moderators.
have they followed through on this request?

Lol @Quickseller fail.

I have yet to see experience this guy's DDOS successes.  Every time he posts 'DT down' with some screenshots and a whois, when I try the game, it works fine.  I dunno.
113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : now with added CLAMs : Play or Invest on: September 27, 2016, 05:06:22 PM
The reason for the difference is that the 2nd biggest holder is likely poloniex, and they don't stake their coins at all.

I never understood why they wouldn't stake and take a 10% cut of coins earned or something.

They make more money and they help decentralize the coin that they are risking their asses on by accepting deposits...

Somehow they're already making enough money that the extra 10% here just fell below their radar?  I dunno.  It is surprising that they wouldn't stake on reasonably valuable POS altcoins that they support.
114  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [CRYPTO-TRADE v2.0] Crypto-Trade.com Exchange & IPO -new- official thread! on: September 23, 2016, 06:24:31 PM

crypto-trade is such an obviously useful name for people who trade crypto that I suppose that just the fact that they used this name isn't signficant.  I think the people who had this original crypto-trade and who ran off with the money are long gone and we can't really expect them to come back.  If they do, they at least, will certainly use another name.
115  Economy / Reputation / Re: Douglus should remove cryptodevil from DT due to conflict of interest on: September 23, 2016, 06:17:37 PM
Solution to the problem:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust

Just enter

~cryptodevil

and whoever else you want to exclude

End of problem

Yes!

This removes the problem for you. However trust is meant for other people to see, and you ignoring a guy won't make them see anything different.

This is how trust is meant to work.  xtraelv clearly doesn't trust cryptodevil, so cryptodevil clearly doesn't belong on his trust list. If others feel the same, they'll exclude him as well.
116  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dragon's Tale - a Massively Multiplayer Online RPG/Casino on: September 23, 2016, 12:06:17 AM
Distributed Denial of Service attacks continue and will not be stopping for momentary breaks any longer.

This Casino's down fall is imminent and Andrew Tepper's arrest is forthcoming.

Wow.  Let's see you go.  So far your attacks have all been failures.  Not sure why you want to keep drawing so much attention to your own ineptitude.
117  Economy / Reputation / Re: Douglus should remove cryptodevil from DT due to conflict of interest on: September 22, 2016, 06:39:12 PM
I have reported cryptodevil to the bitcointalk admin for abusing the trust rating system. We will see if anything happens.

Nothing will happen.  Trust system is unmoderated.  That's been said many many times.  People receive all kinds of nonsense feedback on here all the time.  Theymos (admin) has said many times that if someone is continuously giving out low quality feedback, the result will be that people will remove that person from their trust lists.  It's not supposed to be centrally managed, it's supposed to be an organic network of feedback and trusted-feedback.

Quote
I know plenty of people on here that I have actually traded with and that know me in real life so i can probably fix the feedback that way.

This is probably your best bet.  If you actually have positive feedback from other people, then people will have to take cryptodevil's assessment with a grain of salt.  In any case, just don't worry about it.  Go forward and stand on your principles and let time shake it out.  I know absolutely nothing about this MLM thing you guys are arguing about, but from what I can tell, you wish to defend the concept.  Well, just defend it and go forward.  The negative feedback from cryptodevil doesn't affect your stance, I take it, so you guys have said what you wanted to about each other and that's that.  Right?
118  Economy / Gambling / Re: Dragon's Tale - a Massively Multiplayer Online RPG/Casino on: September 22, 2016, 06:27:38 PM
I've been on a long hiatus from dragons tale.  But to be honest, this guy who keeps failing at ddos keeps bumping the thread and is making me think about playing there more often.
119  Other / Meta / Re: Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ on: September 12, 2016, 09:46:35 PM
Again, reply to this post that is deleted. I repost it because I threat it's deletion as silencing and cutting my free speech rights.

I think you have something fundamentally wrong: there are no "free speech rights" on a private forum, unless the forum owner has granted such rights and even then, the forum owner could decide to revoke them at his or her whim.  Your "free speech rights" may apply to you in your particular country, or whatever,  but you don't have the right to write anything you please on someone else's forum.  This is a private club.

Hope this helps.

Brief message for DDoDT:

You're a failure dude !

Your DDOS attacks are a Joke, and barely get noticed.

Di's new DDOS blocking is far clever than you will ever be.

Your attack yesterday ( 10th Sept 2016 ) from 19:00 - 22:10 GMT, only stopped one player in the UK from logging on. No one else in the game even noticed.

This is probably why comments about your previous DDOS attempts state " everything still seems to be working whenever I try DT ".

Keep it up dude, and in a couple of months another individual player may be slightly inconvenienced for a few hours, or, in 30 or 40 years you may even have a noticeable effect on the game !

Question is:

Are you going to keep giving us laugh at your expense ?

or

Are you going to crawl out of your basement, ask your mum to change your Diaper, then go out and get a life ?

Exactly, I'm not sure I've ever seen such a big fail.  Especially with all the credit he's trying to take.  He bumps this thread everyday with whois reports (?) and says "#offline".  When, in fact, every single time I've tried to follow up to see if he's actually done anything, the game is online and working as normal.

In the end, he's probably helping DT with this:

1) People can see that DDOS protection is working fine
2) He keeps bumping the DT thread where people can observe (1).

Lol.
