survive in long run.
Actually, in the really long run, who knows? I guess you don't believe in the anarcho-paradise future of many of our colleagues here. Well, I only half believe in it myself. In any case, I don't see why it's so clear that in 1000 years we'll still be using fiat currencies from governments.

Confirmed dead
If seals is not having issues then they would be expanding. Failure to do so points to issues they are unwilling or unable to fix. Really no other way to read it, even if you are a fan boy.
I wish it weren't true, because the old seals was amazing. It really seems like after the Icon left things never were the same. Image suffered, development suffered, ... Now looking for the next reliable poker house for bitcoins, I think it's completely up for grabs at this point.

At this point, there have been so many gambling websites that have come and gone that you can really look at the few that have lasted and ask what made them last. Really, nowadays, it's longevity that makes you stand out beyond anything, so the question really should be how do you acheive longevity. From what I can see, the really crucial things are to be completely honest and transparent above and beyond anything else. If people start to question your ethics, or your bankroll, or anything else you really won't last long. I guess I figure it's really about that, image maintainance, good communication, etc.

Is this still open? I'm a long-time fan of bitcoinaverage project and I, of course, love tips I was away for a couple of weeks until just yesterday so I didn't see this stuff till now.

Huh? Nobody cares where you invest your coins. Send them to Karpeles or Garza if you insist.
False. Look at the feedbacks that cryptodevil is leaving. They coincide with investing in ponzi schemes and posting about investing and posting a message that it is unknown how long the ponzi scheme will last. Now that it is revealed that Douglus is involved in ponzi schemes, maybe he is keeping cryptodevil in his trust list to week out all the ponzi competition and then open a massive ponzi scheme of his own Quickseller, Why do you keep on posting in this thread using multiple accounts? Such blatant sockpuppetry isn't going to.fix your trust rating and it isn't going to make your fallacious thinking any more sound---ie, you aren't going to convince anyone just because you keep on repeating yourself under multiple usernames.

I don't follow click bait... Give us a break down of what it says please? Uh, isn't click bait those silly "news" stories? The web is made of links, it's up to you if you don't want to use them. Cheers!

Very interesting service, thank you!
A couple of questions, which was not clear from your FAQ:
- How often do you update your pricing?
Seems to be almost real time, I've seen the price change more than once within a minute. - It would be cool if there were available, say, 10 minute, hourly, daily averages for reference when settling various payments
While it doesn't go down to 10 minutes, you can set the window down to the hour when looking at their charts https://bitcoinaverage.com/charts#USD-averages-1h

Hey roslini and betcoin, as I reported to roslini, it seems that the tournaments tab is broken for players using linux and chromium. For that reason, I'm wondering if I can transfer my freeroll ticket (since I can't use it myself) to someone else. And if so, I'm wondering if anyone here is interested in buying it from me. I can't use it, so I don't know what else to do.
Hey, I will let you know about is the transfer possible. I'll do my best to find some solution. Best regards. Thanks!

Micon was removed from the process by Nevada. And I believe that is permanent.
Writing an Android app might not be the "real problem" that needs to be solved. Writing a browser version might not be the "real problem" that needs to be solved. They probably exist, in some form, by now. It appears (from here) to be a bigger issue.
What is that bigger issue then? If they had a beta, surely they'd say something like "we have a beta". Optimists will imagine that someone is methodically rewriting server code to make this all work well with a few thousand simultaneous players. Pessimists will imagine that this is as good as it will ever get.
I don't think even the old seals ever had more than a few hundred. A few thousand seems like more than optimism. The Windows client software is functioning well at Version 1.0.0.24 with 256-bit AES encryption. Withdrawals are reliable.
I wouldn't know, because I haven't been able to use my seals account since approx Dec 2014. Windows doesn't work at all (imo), and they don't want WINE to work, or so we were told. For those with a tech background how hard is this to implement?
I have a tech background, and while sure, I admit it would be a huge amount of work for me to do by myself, it doesn't seem at all infeasible to think that even working alone I could have developed some sort of sealswithclubs beta android app after a year and a half. So it's really hard for me to imagine that anyone is working on it all.

Other opinions are welcome.
Sure, we can all offer opinions, but it's a little annoying that there's simply no comment from them. Micon promised us alternative clients back in January of 2015. We're now well into 2016. There has to be *some* protocol which this windows thingy is using to communicate, it's not *that* hard to write an android app, even a beta one just to get the old players back who feel abandoned by now.

What if i created an account before for example date registers is june 2015 then i post only 8 post .then i will try to continue it will hit the highest rank applicable to my blank day of post if i reach 500 + post ? 8-500?
What you're asking has been asked and answered many times, here (inter alia) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=237597.msg2513302#msg2513302Your syntax is weird enough that I can't quite parse your exact question, but I don't know how it can be made more clear than in that post I just linked you to. For your convenience: The activity number is determined in this way: time = number of two-week periods in which you've posted since your registration activity = min(time * 14, posts) Rough summary of what this means: If you post once per day on average, then you will eventually get the maximum number of activity points that you can get. Posting more than once per day on average is useless for increasing activity. The maximum number of activity points you can get is 1 per day, but your activity score only updates every two weeks. Therefore, it will take about 100 days to get 100 activity if you post once per day on average.Activity is updated every hour. The new membergroup limits work like this: Group | Requirement | Brand New | 0 posts | Newbie | (none) | Jr. Member | activity: 30 | Member | activity: 60 | Full Member | activity: 120 | Sr. Member | activity: 240 | Hero Member | activity: 480 | Legendary | occurs randomly between 775 and 1030 activity |
I'm not 100% sure that the membergroups work correctly. Tell me if you see any bugs. Or see here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1309120.0

With all of the negative changes that Poker Stars is making lately, I'm really hoping that some smaller sites (SwC in specific) can pick up some of the disenfranchised players that are leaving. I understand that marketing takes money, but this seems like a great opportunity for some up and coming sites to take advantage of. The rake is already very low on SwC, but maybe we need a new and exciting promo to capitalize on the situation? Grow that player pool a bit!
- Naked
We need a working client for more than one operating system. God I miss seals. I doesn't take 1.5 years to put up something, anything. Please come back SwC.

Some big buys of CLAM today, good to get the price back to a more 'normal' level. Like I said before, I am happy to be invested in CLAM in the short and medium term, I wasn't trying to be negative before, honest! As long as JD accepts CLAM, I will be investing them but price go down and down Its not going that down, it started going down because yall fucker bitching is going down with .000001 , obv its going to go down if yall want it to be so, dont forget that YOU is who is taking the price down, with pesimism. It seems to me that price has been pretty stable in the 0.0015--0.002 range. Sure, it's a far cry from the glory days of 0.015, but then again, that was ostensibly some sort of a bubble that was bound not to last.

Hi. I don't know anything about computers and like me i suppose there is a lot of people. I'm missing one letter or a capital or some space in my passphrase. i all ready look in a lot of post and conversation, the answer but didn't understand anything. So if there is any body who wants to help solve this problem step by step for a retard like me i will create a blog or page with a video and the instructions given for all the newbies who are in the same problem like me. help us as a community!!! Please If it was me doing this, and as you said, you know your passphrase but you have a few variants to check and multiplying those out makes it onerous to do by hand then I would: * look up what sort of encryption is actually on the file ** the idea here is that you can make a simple command line program to loop through your variants ** you need to know the success condition, ie, what does the file look like if you successfully decrypt (so that your program knows when to stop and say SUCCESS!) * write a simple loop in perl or bash or python or some scripting language to give it a go I did this a few years ago with a Bitcoin Wallet for Android wallet file, I used the openssl binary on my linux system and a perl script. Others here may be able to comment about how wallet.dat files are encrypted, I can't remember at the moment.

I do think that there is no point in stoping now. I started with 0.5 and already made 3.5 BTC in profit.
The point in stopping now would be to make sure you can actually keep that profit. Just my opinion, but I think that if you keep playing that math is gonna win in the end.

Unless somebody presents a better system than what we have today, no.
Actually, several improvements which would lead to a better system have been suggested and discussed. At one point, even Theymos started a topic called "replacing default trust". It might be time to revisit this. Anyway, I'm just going to leave these links since I think they provide a bit more context to Lauda's answer of icecube's question: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=914641.0https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1031791.0icecube42, best thing you can do for now is remove "Default Trust" from your trust list and build your own list, encourage others to do the same.

Any reference where he has self-admitted it, or any Blockchain proofs? Admittedly, I don't have solid proof. If you need solid proof for you list, then I suppose it's not ready. There's pretty overwhelming evidence with the FunFunnyFan account though, in that at the time when he was using that account, there was literally no one else who cared to go out of their way to troll me in such a way. Actually, come to think about it, there still isn't (I guess I'm not so good at making enemies ). So, yah, the fact that the account was used for selling a DT account in conjunction with a wild spurt of quickseller-style tsp attacks seems to make things pretty clear to me. The newtons1 account was only recently opened and has that same circumstantical thing going on, he's using it to continue his sock-puppet war against dooglus/cryptodevil. It also has this unrevealed signature tick that I can't really say because it's too useful for finding QS alts and once he knows what it is, presumably he'll stop doing it. Anyway, cheers.
