Hating to break into the talk about how babies are made ... Still - here is Miner Protection Program: Along with everyone else, we too have been closely watching the growth of the network Hashrate. It is of concern to all miners, particularly to those looking to pre-purchase equipment. The more time there is between purchase and delivery, the greater the risk that the Hashrate will climb to a point where the miner will never make their money back. That is the reason behind our Miner Protection Program, and the guarantee we provide is: If any of our pre-purchase customers has not achieved payback on their investment in HashFast equipment within 90 days* of taking delivery from us, we will support them by providing them with up to 4X the Hashing capacity they originally purchased, free of charge.
The details: We will give you double the extra capacity you would have needed to break even (up to a maximum of 4x your original purchase). The extra capacity will be chips only, to be used with a HashFast or third party chassis. *Assuming you have been running your mining rig 24/7, ROI calculated from the daily difficulty level, block arrival rate, and hash rate of equipment delivered. The original design work on this chip started in 2011. The architecture work started then. The current version of the RTL code started in May 2013. The team have been working non stop 18 hour days, 7 days a week since then. We understand the importance of schedule. The chip design is almost complete. ....
Hi Simon, Can you confirm that you are still on track for an August tapeout ? https://www.hashfast.com/uniquifystatemen/Can you confirm that you have chosen and signed with a fab ? Can you tell us what your fab time estimate is ? Do you have a rocket priority run ? Have you chosen and signed with bumping, dicing and packaging partners and what is your timeline for these ? Have you already finalised your PCB design, contracted partners and started manufacturing ? Have you finalised your rig design, cooling, PSU and contracted a manufacturer ? If you ship in December - your customers will take a bath on this. ==================================== Can you confirm that you are still on track for an August tapeout ? https://www.hashfast.com/uniquifystatemen/- Yes Can you confirm that you have chosen and signed with a fab ? - Yes Can you tell us what your fab time estimate is ? Thank you John for your response. Also while your at it, check how shipping costs will be when ordering multiple units. I can imagine it costs a few hundred bucks to ship to Europe but the shipment size shouldn't matter then anymore.
Also, the error I posted earlier has nothing to do with the processor. It's simply wordpress that's failing probably due to the plugin you use for the shopping cart combined with obviously shared hosting.
Cheers,
Hi Tyrion, We will take another look at shipping costs and see if we can reduce the shipping costs, and refund anyone that over paid for shipping. The shipping costs came straight from UPS, with no markup. Part of the reason for the high shipping costs is the value of the products (insurance). We have upgraded to a new server, and we are completely rebuilding the system. (I agree with you) Thanks again for your patience, John

Hi everyone, Again, I personally apologize for the difficulty many of you had in placing an order with us yesterday. The integration between BitPay and our shopping cart did not operate smoothly, and the sales volume overwhelmed it. This is what we are doing to fix it: 1) We have a record of everyone who attempted to make a purchase. We will individually contact those people to give each one the option of completing their purchase (and preserving their place in line for delivery of the earliest units, as per the timestamp in their order) 2) Many of you have felt that the shipping costs were too high. We will find a better/cheaper solution, and refund the difference. It is absolutely not our intention to make a profit on shipping costs. If you have completed a transaction, and feel that the shipping costs were too high, please submit a ticket to support@hashfast.com. 3) We are working hard to improve and test a new site and payment processing options. In the meantime, if you would like to make a purchase with us directly, you can email us at sales@hashfast.com. Please include your full name, address and a phone number where we can reach you. We will work on these purchase requests in the order that they are received (and provide each person with a place in the delivery line, per the timestamp of their email) Our team is working diligently to get these issues resolved. We appreciate your patience. If you have completed an order and have questions, please contact support@hashfast.comIf you have not yet completed an order and would like to do so, please contact sales@hashfast.comThank you, John Skrodenis HashFast

you guys have been clamoring all morning about a rep from the company not showing his face. well, he's here and you have no questions?
Hmm you might want to follow up on your customer support skills dude.. I asked what was wrong with the webpage (no answer so far except that its broken and sales are suspended). I asked what shipping costs to Europe would be (no answer so far) I asked (indirectly) how John is thinking to contact me and other ppl if we haven't been able to order.. (no answer)... So I suggest you start behaving a little more professional towards your customers. Also it's 8.41PM here.. There is more to the world than the USA. I did my math and I believe it's already 11.41AM in LA, hardly morning anymore on a weekday even.. Cheers, 1) The technology between the shopping cart and the processor had mutliple issues. 2) I will look into eurpoean shipping costs and get back to you. I agree that the amounts seem high. When we get this resolved we will refund the difference if we are able to secure chepaer rates. 3) This morning our team will be working through each and every email and each and every order. John Skrodenis

you know what? i absolutely agree. they should be here talking more but i guess that's why they brought me on board to handle all the flack. Yes, and CEO-level: understandable. But where's Sedockis, or whatever his name is: the marketing guy? It seems to me, particularly on the day that Team Avalon has announced their ("temporary") implosion, it is even more necessary to put forward a balanced, credible, front. I'm here. Was sleeping after a very long day. What can I do for you?
