with the additional released inventory already down to only 6 units left, along with the backorders, i think the marketplace has spoken.
Sales have been incredibly strong over the last 24 hours, but we will continue to release inventory for orders that we do not receive payment for. -John

Big News Coming Today! Watch this space! Additionally:1) Due to a number of wire transfers that failed to come through, we are releasing additional inventory to complete the sale of the first batch of Baby Jets. We have modified the order chain rules such that wire payments will now be added to order chain based on date / time wire is received, not when order is initiated. Online orders will be added to order chain based on when order was intitiated, assuming payment is received within one hour. After one hour, these orders will be cancelled. 2) We are now aceepting back orders - Due to variance in predicting wafer yield, it is likely that we will have more ASICs in First Batch than initially calculated. - However, the inventory for backorders is uncertain - wafer yield prediction is notoriously subject to inprecision throughout the semiconductor industry. - Our design has been intentionally engineered to be defect tolerant across 96% of its surface area. - Backorder chain will be posted below order chain. - Customers that place backroders that cannot be filled will be offered store credit and first in line for second batch, or 100% refund. 3) Also, please note: We will soon be moving away from the MtGox Weighted Average Exchange rate for the direct bitcoin transfer payment option. Take advantage of this high exchange rate Now! These changes have been posted here: https://hashfast.com/shop/babyjet/Also, please note that we have adjusted our online terms of sale to reflect these changes. As always, support staff is available at sales@hashfast.com and 800-609-3445 (phones answered during standard pacific business hours). -John

I assume that applies only to those who ordered when that direct option was available correct? That is if we ordered first day when BitPay was the only option, then there is no adjustment since bitpay was pricing "correctly". [/quote] Unfortunately, that is correct. -John

This was probably mentioned, but just wanted to let people know that HashFast was nice enough to refund me about 6 BTC due to mispricing of the exchange rate. Not bad! I wasn't even expecting it.
What exchange rate did you get charged? I noticed the exchange rate on my purchase wasn't very good. I ordered the first date and paid $94.5/btc. Hi Miglo, the direct transfer exhange rate plugin was in fact broken for a day. I thought we had contacted and refunded everyone who was overcharged, but it is possible that we missed someone. Hit up Cara ( sales@hashfast.com) and she'll look into it, or you can always hit me up privately. Cheers, John

Also, don't forget that those of you lucky enough to get a box now will most likely be able to install the Golden Nonce 2 once it comes out.
Are you saying that the chip is socketed so it can be removed and replaced with a different chip? No, I am not. I don't think they are going to have the luxury of time needed to include a socketed solution as time of delivery is most important to them. But hopefully the chip will be mounted on a solution that can be easily plugged in. That is correct. The first batch of chips will be packaged into modules that can be plugged in. -John
