1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Your Kids Aware Of Bitcoin? Teach Them. on: May 07, 2022, 02:40:54 PM
the young age of the children is around 17 years old where children can be said to be adults where children of this age are already thinking about their future, so at this age it is the right time to be taught what bitcoin is and the steps taken to enter the crypto market
At the right time I will also consider telling my son about bitcoin but now he is too young to understand about digital money like bitcoin because to be honest my son is not yet 2 years old. Lol

Obviously every parent should teach their child and inform them about the times and also about new financial systems like bitcoin when they are ready. This is an important thing for them because actually bitcoin is not an enemy that needs to be hidden from them.

To be honest, we don't even have to teach them about it once they grow old, I believe that cryptocurrency (along with Bitcoin) will be included in the educational system, and that cryptocurrency is already everywhere on the internet, advertisements and promotional videos, it is bound to happen because crypto just continues to grow and seem to be everywhere now as people continue to influence other people about Bitcoin.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are new bitcoin users early or late to the party? on: May 06, 2022, 02:28:19 PM
Not at all, if it is as they say that Bitcoin will go up to the clouds (million dollars) they are not late, we could say that they are just in time. Although the fact that the people who have been in this for much longer came at the best time is highlighted, since I suppose that they already have accumulated BTC and if this maintains a bullish state, they will take better advantage of this cryptocurrency in the long term.
going up to the cloud until bitcoin is worth millions of dollars, it just might happen. but the question is whether they can withstand up to millions of dollars. Hundreds of dollars is still not reached today. But if the investment is made in bitcoin for the long term, profits can be obtained, as long as you have to be sure and stay on the main target. No one comes late all have the same opportunity.

Newcomers definitely have the opportunity to gain profit when investing with Bitcoin, but if you'd look at how little the value of Bitcoin was then from now, it's clear that we can consider that they are somewhat late considering Bitcoin's growth and how investors quickly became millionaires. Now's the right time to invest while BTC dropped a large portion because of it's bullish state, it's never late to invest in cryptocurrency but we can all agree that they've definitely missed out a lot.

Impressive for Bulls holding off a Bucks' comeback in the second half. It's also a different DeRozan this time compared to his poor shooting in game 1. Game 3 will be tricky for me as because of injuries to Middleton and Portis. I'll wait for updates before placing a bet on this one. I would most likely pick Bucks if they're all healthy.

This kind of injury always leaves us hanging, I also lost on my prediction today due to the fact that Giannis cannot handle up to the 4rth quarter without Middleton against the Bulls. In the meantime, I would not choose one of them in our mini prediction game on our local board before their 3rd game because as you said earlier it's really tricky to put your bet on them. Maybe after 3rd game, we can decide who to choose. As for the Nets vs Celtics earlier, it's completely different compared to their last game, the Celtics were completely dominant in their defensive strategy.

I honestly think that if Middleton didn't get injured in the 3rd, the game could have been in favor for the Bucks as DeRozan went dry on the 4th quarter, but the Bucks couldn't keep up. If Khris cannot play the next game, then I'll probably place my bet on the Bulls.
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 20, 2022, 05:35:51 PM
Jimmy Buttler doing everything he can for the Heat but the Hawks are catching fire in the fourth. It's now a single possession ball game and a lot of things could still happen with under 3 minutes remaining. It eould be a shame if the Heat lose this one after a commanding third quarter.

Bogdanovic is the game changer here.

....

Game's over. Huge response from Butler aftet their lead was cut down to only three.

Yeah, it was Butler in the last 3-4 minutes of the game, 40+ points in game 2, that's huge. Too much experience I would say, Butler and the rest of the Heat knows how to protect that lead and then their defense against Trae Young in that crucial minutes. Bogdanovic though continue to score in the 1:30 mark but it was too late already. And then the Heat putting the ball to their best FT shooter to seal the win for them.
I honestly didn't like how he ended up with 45 points while the rest are under 20 points. It doesn't look good for the team's overall performance but a win is still a win. I've seen them do better as a team and I expect a more balanced scoring and more ball movement from them in game 3.

That's how it goes some games.  Feed the hot hand.  Butler scored 7 in a row when they were only up 3 to stretch the game to 10.  Dude is playing out of his mind right now, Jimmy doesn't get the credibility he deserves.

Jimmy put on a show, if he's this consistent throughout the playoffs, it's going to be a nightmare against other teams, and might as well win a chip for Miami. On the other hand, Trae can perform like this and if he did, then this round is going to be very interesting, anyways, Heat in 5.  Grin
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 12, 2022, 04:46:53 PM
The sad part is he was not informed early until it was leaked to ESPN. Ouch! Surprises. Lakers management does love that.  Grin
Now the roster, we might be surprised too in the next days to come or before the season starts again. I bet they are going to overhaul that roster again and seek players that are younger. Who knows, they might be done with making a veteran lineup again.
Where would Howard go that will make him more productive and be back with 20+ minutes per game? I wish a team signs him up. It's too cheap for just $2.6M for an agile 37 years old.
He will be a great asset for this era being dominated by 3 giant players.

Well! that's just how it is if the management doesn't like the result of your hard work and you failed to give them the championship they wanted to further expand their profits from the Lakers merchandise and other stuff. The question is, who will gonna replace Frank after this season? I'm sure it will be a huge challenge for whoever it will be because they will gonna overhaul the entire roosters and they gonna trade Westbrook
The fact that they already fired Frank Vogel then I assume that they are already eyeing someone else to do the vacant job. The Lakers management have those money to hire coaches again but the question is, does this new future head coach can give them the goal they want? We'll see about that soon. It's just sad for me to think that after Frank Vogel gave them a championship title last 2020, he will be just fired just like that without getting informed before it was leaked.

They don't need a coach, LeBron is there to take the coaching spot 😂, kidding aside, Vogel definitely was inconsistent and made some bad decisions this season, I can't exactly point it out but it was really bad, and also, Russ will definitely be on another team for sure, not gonna lie he performed well and racked up the assists department but man he is really throwing bricks.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why no simple service for HODLing Bitcoin? on: April 12, 2022, 04:34:52 PM
Good idea, although it's pretty much useless if all the smart contract will do is hodl your BTC, might as well just hodl it on your own, you can't even be sure if the value would be high or low in the next 5 years. Something like this doesn't exist because it has no use and it won't actually help the hodler.
7  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: April 08, 2022, 10:34:23 AM
My take here is to whoever has the most playoff experience, the young guns like Ja Morant, Doncic, etc. definitely has what it takes to get a spot in the finals.

But the Suns have been consistent since CP3 got there, last year was full of surprises and now they have solidified their spot, I'm a big Warriors fan but if Curry can't compete in the playoffs (because of his injury) then I'd definitely go with Suns, DBook and CP3 had a great playoff run last year and an excellent run this season, the team chemistry is there as Bridges and their other teammates have been consistent as well.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are NFT Tokens a Good Long Term Investments? on: April 06, 2022, 07:50:17 PM
I don't think it would be wise to hold NFT. Because new NFTs will arrive over time and will be updated day by day, the value of the held NFT may decrease. So I don't think NFT should be hold .It is better to think of before starting cryptosystem, otherwise, you have to pay compensation later

Bad idea for long term, and you're right, it shouldn't be held for too long as new competitors arrive every day bringing in higher value, the NFT marketplace isn't really something you'd hold on for too long as the value decreases over time, some doesn't but majority of these NFTs does, it's better if you'd buy and sell NFTs until you actually reach a higher and value and sell, it's an endless cycle.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: April 03, 2022, 06:57:30 PM
Maybe it's not too long but there's still an impact on him. Ryan Garcia used to fight at least 2 times a year. After his last fight, he skipped a year without fighting due to the problem which was discussed. Well, he is still young, I'm sure he can get back to being active again, this would be his first attempt after a long layoff, he should not disappoint us.

I'd definitely put my bet on Tagoe, unless if this is a fixed match. I saw how Ryan Garcia plays, and to be honest, he's not someone I'd bet for. I've been watching his Tiktoks and videos on YouTube, he puts priority on fame over his overall record in boxing, I gotta admit that he makes more money but if we're talking about bets, I pretty much will not put my bet on him, just sayin.s
10  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 03, 2022, 04:03:04 PM
I think the Nets are more concerned with getting Durant the scoring title over LeBron than they are with winning games. Now Durant is only 0.2 points per game behind LeBron. With the Lakers playing today in a couple hours on ABC Iím expecting to see LeBron try to put up a huge game to keep himself in the top spot on the scoring list. I have a feeling weíre going to see LeBron and KD both putting up some big numbers the rest of the way as Durant tries to keep LeBron from becoming the oldest player to ever win a NBA scoring title.

KD played well earlier but fell off short, Trae and the Hawks did well but KD performed like how he should, if he keeps this up or at least averages 30+ pts per game then he'll most likely beat LeBron, I do think that both teams are more concerned with getting into the playoffs, for KD and Bron, this is more of a competition between them, I do wish Bron gets it, he deserves it, that 37 year old is playing like he was in his prime, having to carry Westbrick and the whole Lakers' inconsistency.

11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Predicts Bitcoin price by 2025 on: April 01, 2022, 09:50:27 AM
I think it is quite true that by the year 2025, the price of Bitcoin would be something around 6 digits, regardless of the price, if people continue to invest in crypto and if no other cryptocurrency would reign over Bitcoin, then I think it is most likely that it'll reach $100k by the year 2025 or so. Predictions are everywhere but you can never trust any of them, perhaps keeping some of your investments and investing in other assets would be the best strategy.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: April Fool bitcoin news around the world on: April 01, 2022, 09:45:17 AM
Of course, there will be, it's not like your first time hanging around the internet right? Regardless of the day/event, there will always be fake news/trollpostings, it's inevitable as almost everyone has the technology nowadays. I believe checking the calendar first thing today would be the best explanation on why you can't believe anything or perhaps everything on the internet right now.  🤣
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin 2022 Conference on: April 01, 2022, 09:39:18 AM
I wonder if the app could offer a free stream from the conference? I think that would be a great addition if they have a feature like that. There are notable speakers that will attend though I didn't know most of them, I know how maximalist these speakers are e.g. Saylor and the El Salvadoran President Bukele.

As far as I know, live stream will be available for main stage only. Anything happening on other stages wonít be live streamed. I donít know if everything will later be uploaded to YouTube.

Over 300 speakers will be attending, I do wish I was near Miami! This is going to be huge. All I'm hoping for now is for the speakers like Nayib Bukele, Michael Saylor, etc. and for the conference to be live-streamed or recorded. For now, I'll be relying on vloggers/content creators that will be attending the conference, this will be for sure one of the biggest events this year!
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Meet Bitcoin Embassy Bar, a Bitcoin themed bar in Mexico on: March 26, 2022, 07:37:28 PM
No doubt that this is pretty much unique, the idea of having a bar with people to talk about cryptocurrency and such. Given that it is a bar and a BTC-themed one, I do think that people would treat this as a spot in Mexico that Bitcoin enthusiasts should try out, and even meet new people!
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to be investing in Bitcoin? on: March 25, 2022, 06:23:33 PM
The war between Russia and Ukraine has no impact on crypto at all. i can't look any deeper i just see bitcoin always moving like before. if the whole world stops the war, my prediction will have an effect on crypto, because investors from that country will take their money to use.

Ukraine isn't really a big fan of cryptocurrency, let alone Russia is another country that does not support crypto that much but is one of the nations that has clearly moved the charts lately, in terms of mining.

I do think as well that the war between these 2 nations did not affect Bitcoin or crypto in general. Going back, investing in crypto or in Bitcoin is really a good idea right now, a lot of doubters have once again tried to spread rumors that Bitcoin is about to die this time and that the bubble has finally popped, this isn't true and the bearish season could possibly end in a few weeks by now or months, investing right now would probably be a good idea.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Around The World on: March 25, 2022, 06:17:07 PM
It is inevitable for cryptocurrency to spread widely on different areas/continents. Technology rises and so does the accessibility of us, humans, to the internet and how easily people influence their peers with whatever it is that is trending on social media, and of course, there comes along cryptocurrency, NFTs, trading, and many other more investments possible.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the secret sauce for a good memecoin? on: February 15, 2022, 09:51:21 AM
I'm currently involved in small memecoin project which fairlaunched on the FTM network and we are currently struggling to get good growth. We have around 350 holders and a few reliable meme makers doing their thing on twitter slowly pushing up our follower base. We've got a modest marketing budget but don't want to blow it all at once.

I'm interested in getting tips and advice on what worked best for some of the more experienced members here.  We have thought about Giveaways, Youtube videos, reddit crypto moonshots posts etc..but not sure which to focus on. Any advice appreciated!

I believe that the secret sauce is "good marketing" not improvised.
Plus the ability to know how to manage social networks to be able to go viral.

But be careful it's not necessarily enough. In the end we take care only for those who have been successful and not those who have not made it.
It is not a trivial thing because many coins have had bad results turning into... scams!

Exposure and marketing would be one of the keypoints in creating a successful memecoin, I don't know how successful it would be though but with the right exposure in social media, it'll definitely be successful. Memes are what make these coins superior, and this means that social media will be a very powerful tool to deliver these memes in big platforms like reddit, facebook, etc. you can't just make a memecoin with no substance as this won't go anywhere, it must have substance and meaning to the meme community.

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India's confusing crypto bill on: February 15, 2022, 08:16:35 AM
What are we expecting in Indian Government ? they are acting like this for how many years?

having issue of banning and regulating and then allowing ? this is not new from this country so better to get use to it until they finally act a truthful and real law or bills in which people will understand and accept.

I don't see they are serious in adopting bitcoin. If that was the case, they would have lowered the taxes to encourage people to use crypto. Instead, they hinted that they won't let anyone earn crypto as they will be taxed very high.
This statement was a big disappointment to the people of India who wanted to integrate bitcoin and also earn bitcoin by different means like mining etc.

They aren't serious about it, knowing the past issues and corruption in the Indian Government, their officials have been taxing cryptocurrency for a while and the fact that they haven't even legalized it is disrespectful, we can't expect much from them. And I do feel bad as well for the people in India who've been looking forward for Bitcoin and crypto to be legalized with low tax fees, instead, the government took advantage and it really is sad.
20  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 16, 2022, 11:52:47 AM
It's a sweep. Raptors swept the Bucks this season as that was their last game against each other. It's like they are the weakness of the Bucks team. Maybe if they will meet at the playoffs, they will have a chance for revenge with Jrue Holiday playing. 6 players, that's all the Raptors need to defeat them. Foul trouble is their problem but they managed to keep up until the buzzer sounds with a W.
That's one of the upset games today and the other is the Knicks winning against the Hawks. The Bulls might also upset the Celtics with a 6 point lead, 3 minutes left in the 4th.
This is what I'm thinking earlier since they really gave them a hard time until their last game of the season. If they somehow gonna play against each other in the NBA playoffs, then they will have some difficult wall they need to break to get the chance to win a back-to-back championship. The Bulls lost this one and they are now lost 3rd streak of their last games.

Actually, the Bulls almost had the game in their hand those times. That 10 -4 start, 20 points lead, If they could just keep that up, It's such a disappointment. And the Milwaukee Bucks loss was kind of unexpected. They smashed the Golden State Warriors with an almost 20 points lead.  On the other hand, the Hawks have a bad time ongoing. They are losing consistently by a little fraction. The way all those matches turned around, it was both thrilling and frustrating.

It's a match well-played by Toronto Raptors. Siakam and OG rose to the occasion as Siakam scored 30 points and OG scored 24. By the way, Siakam had the triple-double which is also a good milestone.

I don't think anyone other than Giannis from the Bucks played that well. Giannis hit 30 points on the scoreboard and the only one close to him is Allen who score 18.
Middleton score 16 points but I expected him to play a bit better than what he has done. The bucks really need to improve a lot.

They really missed the services of a high caliber point guard, which is Holiday. And it's evident in this game as there are no one that can distributed the ball around.

Again, Giannis try to do it by himself, but without any help other than Middleton, the defending champion looks like an ordinary team.

Toronto is on a roll right now as they are almost at full strength with this victory.

What I find amazing from Jrue's game is his defense, he never failed to be included in the all-defensive first or second teams almost every season, VanVleet was a problem outside but Siakam was a beast, they needed that exterior defense pretty much, and George Hill is not known for his defense, they also needed Khris Middleton's production points, sadly, he was underperforming and in result, they lost to the Raptors, it was a different energy when they faced the Warriors  vs. how they faced the Raptors.
