501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The return of ICOs on: May 26, 2020, 03:57:45 AM
With how effective IEOs are right now, I really don't think that ICOs would make of a good comeback, many will try establisihing but based on how great establisihing an IEO right now, I don't think building up an ICO would even be a good idea.
502  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Creator Dead on Covid-19? on: May 25, 2020, 07:27:15 PM
I think the quickest way on making a statement about this is a simple "He/She is anonymous", and yes, we all know that you are just saying this because it's just a simple what-if but then again, if the identity is hidden then we will never know if the creator died or is just simply living the simple life of he/she might have died years ago, we will never be sure if we'll be able to identify the Satoshi but hopefully we do.
503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coronavirus ain't helping on: February 29, 2020, 03:49:44 PM
The virus is a big threat to the world economy, connections between countries would have to be cut off (if necessary) since contact with countries that have cases of the virus are dangerous and can easily spread off. I think with the danger and fear of getting infected, It will also affect the entire cryptoworld as this virus is really not going to help but to ruin everything, keep yourselves clean and always bring sanitizers, this virus must be put to a stop, immediately.
504  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Malaysia crypto friendly on: February 29, 2020, 03:32:42 PM
Malaysia is open yet not crypto friendly, perhaps there is a mutual relationship between cryptocurrency and Malaysia, but if Malaysia will be fully accepting cryptocurrency in their country then that I think will be the perfect opportunity for the citizens in Malaysia.
505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gaming Industry and Cryptocurrency! on: February 27, 2020, 10:59:18 AM
Well throughout all the years, and when I took a break from posting here in bitcointalk, I took the time on exploring games that are putting cryptocurrency within their game, whether if it is RPG, MOBA, SANDBOX, FPS, etc. I can say that cryptocurrency has been included throughout almost all of the games that I have played, MINECRAFT and BITCOIN is one of the things that I got addicted on, while playing the game I was thinking to myself on how proud I am to be one of the people who are to witness on how crypto has evolved through the years and at the same time witnessing the gaming industry evolving as well. And with THE SANDBOX which I have played before and knowing that they want cryptocurrency to be involved with their game which make me want to play it more! meanwhile Cryptovoxels is very much new to me, but with the game's name itself "Cryptovoxels" makes me very curious and excited on playing the game.
506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin a failed experiment? on: February 27, 2020, 08:41:29 AM
From the way on how you look at BTC right now, I really think that you should either take time to decide or just simply sell your account and find a new way on how you'll be able to earn money, If you think that BTC is just an experiment and a waste of time then I think you should really move on and find new ways of gaining income.
507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Simpsons talks about Cryptocurrency on: February 26, 2020, 04:49:11 PM
The Simpsons have pulled off crazy predictions on their past episodes and I think that this is another one coming out and yes, cryptocurrency may have started off even years ago but I am quite overwhelmed with what the Simpsons have done here, as a solid fan of the Simpsons, I can say that I have lots of laugh and at the same time I have gained additional information and knowledge about cryptocurrency, I can finally show something to my friends while they laugh at and at the same time gaining knowledge about what cryptocurrency is.
508  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NASA to Launch Bitcoin to the Moon? on: October 01, 2019, 05:01:29 PM
I would love to see a rocket and a satellite with BIG Bitcoin logo :-P
I mean seriously, it would be very nice if agency like NASA finds blockchain technology useful for them and starts promoting Bitcoin.

Quote
There is no explanation given as to why experience with cryptocurrency is beneficial for the work at JPL but you can have fun speculating. Maybe NASA is looking for ways to develop a new economy for an independent Mars colony, launch an ICO to fund a moon base, or even find a way to trade with space aliens. It could also just be a way to signal to potential applicants that it is looking for people that really love to dive into deep technological and mathematical concepts.

I am wondering will there be anyone from this forum? Who will be this or a group of lucky champ/s? :-D

I'd love to see someone (if there is one in this forum which is included) that is a member would explain on what will be their plans when it reaches onto the moon, this is a great milestone for Bitcoin because it also attracts other people and will make them know that BTC is indeed having a continuous uprise!
509  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need a MrBitcoin like MrBeast to increase Bitcoin adoption. on: September 22, 2019, 12:04:21 PM
The only MrBitcoin for me was Satoshi Nakamoto, I don't think it's satisfying if we're receiving free bitcoin on him since he/she already created the bitcoin and blockchain, that's enough for me.

Bitcoin was very precious than USD, whoever MrBitcoin is, his/her giveaway was limited to some dates because we knew that the market wasn't stable, it might affect his/her too. IMO, all of the users that consists huge amount of bitcoin was affiliated with a business category so they will not waste any bitcoin they have at this point just to gain popularity like mrBEAST.

Well, MrBitcoin will be getting more bitcoins out of this, than what he would be giving away. Remember Bitcoin companies could sponsor some of these videos for advertisement.. Also, when Mr. Beast visit a Bitcoin merchant, that merchant would get FREE advertising.  Wink

Imagine Overstock <first large Bitcoin merchant> sponsoring a good video and getting millions of views?  I bet you, if this takes off, other Bitcoin companies would also start to sponsor some videos.

MrBitcoin might also visit smaller online shops that accepts Bitcoin as a payment option and buy all their items that are on offer. When Fiat merchants sees this, they might start to adopt Bitcoin in the hope that MrBitcoin would visit them too.  Wink

Exactly the content that I'll be looking out for when a 'MrBeast' in the crypto industry would start off.
510  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need a MrBitcoin like MrBeast to increase Bitcoin adoption. on: September 22, 2019, 11:57:07 AM
We don't need a social media clown like MrBeast to promote bitcoin.I think that 90% of his subscribers and viewers are kids and teens. This isn't the perfect demographic,if we want fast adoption, however it might help in the long run.I remember that Pewdiepie had some cryptocurrency related videos back in the day,but it was  just comedy.

Well, it's because people weren't taking cryptocurrency seriously back then, and if there would be a same MrBeast in terms of Bitcoin then I don't think he'd have kids and teens watching him, probably people who are just looking out for entertainment, it's not all about giving and donating, it's by simply helping out people, it's not only self-promotion, it's also promoting cryptocurrency, I don't even think people classified him as a social media clown rather than a guy who is willing to help out, he uses comedy to not only put MONEY around the content he does because that would be extremely boring and would make him look like he's only promoting his self and the amount of money he can give, we want a MrBeast in the crypto community but NOT EXACTLY the attitude and the looks of the MrBeast in YouTube, you're getting the whole point wrong.
511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need a MrBitcoin like MrBeast to increase Bitcoin adoption. on: September 22, 2019, 11:52:25 AM
Damn, I like the idea, I mean MrBeast is HUGE and if  someone was to put something with the same content but on a different  aspect which is Bitcoin then I think that content creator(YouTuber) would probably become internet famous and not only that but MrBeast started off as a very small channel and had nothing to start up with his YouTube channel but when he got recognized even more he gain more of what he gives and as a result, he'll be able to give out more, he's strategy is simple and he uses his money to help out people instead of spending it on useless stuff, and if someone in the BTC community would be as generous as he would be then I think that's a good idea.
512  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Who is Satoshi?" Should we put an end to this discussion? on: September 19, 2019, 01:58:19 AM
SATOSHI can be considered as an individual who started all of this or may also be considered as a GROUP or an organization, he has no identity or whatsoever and I think that this topic has been running out for a very long time and all of the people are quite curious on who is the real maker of Bitcoin, but one thing for sure is that all of us may want to know Satoshi but in a world where anonymity is everywhere it would also be very much likely be hard to find out who that person is, and one thing for sure is that would It really be important or are we just wasting time trying to find out who that person is wherein we can actually make better progress rather than trying to be a Sherlock knowing everything from the past.
513  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How Can I Increase Bitcoin? on: September 17, 2019, 05:41:16 PM
The best way to increase your Bitcoin is to have income, and that means you'll need to find a job, you can actually gain Bitcoin by using this forum, joining up signature campaigns, but you will first have to get yourself going by having a rank and everything else, otherwise, you can also find some other jobs that won't probably need a rank and that is by finding other legitimate jobs out there, that is one of the most safest way you can get yourself going aside from trading and gambling your Bitcoin through trade exchanges and casinos.
514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin future on: September 17, 2019, 02:27:12 AM
Well, if you are plainly just asking if Bitcoin will work for the next ten years then YES it will work since cryptocurrency is an evolving subject and not only will Bitcoin work for the next ten years but will surely be 10x better than it is right now, Bitcoin has evolved throughout the decade and will continuously evolve alongside with the other things like technology and many more, this is truly based on my own insights though, don't fully grasp onto it or have too much expectations, but then again, Bitcoin will WORK no matter what.
515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Back From The Dead? on: September 16, 2019, 04:34:38 PM
I don't think that Ethereum is literally dead, but if we are talking about the value then I am sure that Ethereum has definitely become passive, there are minimal progress and indefinite chance of Ethereum to be likely going up, but then again, I'm fine with this as long as it stays like this, other cryptocurrencies have been going up and down but in the case of ETH wherein it still sits at the #2 spot for a very long time now.
516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We still don't have any idea about the real Satoshi, stop false info on: September 16, 2019, 05:45:27 AM
Yes, but don't you think that adding one more topic in this main thread would more likely to either stop them or convince other spammers to evenly spam more of this "Who is Satoshi Nakamoto?" topic, I don't think there is a need to say this out since mods can simply manage and filter out all this crappy topics; Anyways, I think that this crappy topic needs to be done for, it will forever be tackled on but this is not ONLY the topic that needs to be talked about, if newbies want to start out knowing more about Bitcoin then in my own opinion knowing what Bitcoin is instead of who made and how Bitcoin was made, I hope this can help out newbs, we are here to help you grow.
517  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The top 5 must-see Bitcoin movies in 2019 on: August 29, 2019, 01:56:54 AM
Not movies but I'll be looking forward to watch these documentaries, and don't forget to know the difference between documentaries and movies, anyways, I think that Bitcoin Heist was actually one of the good movies that I've watched in terms of cryptocurrency, there are more upcoming movies soon and hopefully these movies will be successful since it can be a big influence to the viewers and give them insights on what Bitcoin is.
518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indonesia, the second largest crypto adopter without legality. on: July 28, 2019, 02:11:50 PM
Quite true, I mean a lot of Indonesian have loved cryptocurrency, a country who loves crypto and has made a name for themselves in the crypto world, besides from this post being a year old, Indonesia has grown more when it comes to cryptocurrency, I forgot the link of the article where it showed how much Indonesians love cryptocurrency, I just don't have an idea if the country has either legalized or will legalize cryptocurrency, and if that happens then I think the amount of users in Indonesia would likely to increase much more.
519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's going on with BTC? on: July 28, 2019, 08:22:21 AM

Any other explanations as to what's causing this BTC upsurge?

We can't actually pinpoint what's the "exact" reason behind the current strong demand that leads to a price increase. There are lots honestly that we can consider as reasonable factors.

You can refer to some crypto news portal around and take those recent news as reference. Don't want to link some as it was easy to search. From there, you can speculate what could be the reason for this price increase movement.

True, it may or may not be true that these may be the factors on why Bitcoin has been going up these past few weeks, although I don't think that we can easily state here that these apps did help out accumulate a better result for BTC, other than that there are other probable reasons due to Bitcoin going up, nobody can really tell but if it really did help out BTC's current state then it is indeed good for us to get the benefit.
520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Cafe on: July 28, 2019, 06:17:46 AM
The theme of the cafe is quite resembling a theme of cryptocurrency mainly focused on BITCOIN, however then what is the purpose of this if you can't even get to use your Bitcoins here, I mean that would be neat to spend my BTC for a cup of coffee and bread, I'm completely happy with fiat being spent but I do hope soon that the implementation will take effect soon, I'll be in Bangladesh soon and I might as well check out this cafe and see for myself if the coffee and everything deserves a 10/10
