461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advice for beginner HODLers on: January 11, 2021, 06:10:46 PM
Having a reliable source for tracking purposes is a must so you'd know if you are hodling the right way, not only that but patience is a must when you are hodling, don't just go right away panic selling your holdings just because of what the forum says, always look up to those reliable members in this forum that can actually give accurate information, not only in this forum but the whole web itself is filled with information, a website like coinmarketcap is actually a good source for tracking values of almost all of the cryptocurrencies.
462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New ATH, New ATH, New ATH on: January 10, 2021, 04:35:52 AM
How do you feel exactly when you see new ATH each time and how do you feel when you see ATH broken after long break.

Mixed reactions of course, seeing the price been broken after 2 years is definitely something to be excited of, not only that but for us, it definitely is an opportunity to seek for profit after holding for a long time and trying to save my bitcoins, it definitely is worth the wait! 😎
463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When to take profit from your current bitcoin holding. on: January 10, 2021, 04:12:45 AM
The price of bitcoin started rising from 15k to 20k,from 20k to 25k, I thought it has reached the last increase this season.

The following day I saw a bullish movement again, I saw movement from 25k too 30k. I thought it will be too risky to buy when it was at 30k, but it kept rising until it was 32k. I bought some Satoshi at that price level.

Few days later it rose to 33k and started a bearish movement to 31k, I was already loosing my hard earned cash. I hastily converted it to etherum because it was performing better.

I later discovered that I made a very big mistake by cashing out at a loss, I would have waited a little. A week later, Bitcoin rose to 40k plus.

I want you to comment on this scenario, when should one cash out, as the volitality of the market is very scary.

What's your advice? Is it keep holding? What if keep holding means holding at a loss?

On those certain scenarios, if you see an opportunity to cash out some of your holdings, go for it, go for a 50/50 decision, wherein you'd actually gain profit and at the same time holding some of your bitcoins and then later on going for the 2nd cash out just when the value of BTC rose up to 40k, this may not be the best strat but I think is one of the safest.
464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Pizza... on: January 08, 2021, 04:46:30 AM
Some of us who don't rely on signature campaigns for our next meal actually read this stuff Wink
Please continue to bother.
+1, can confirm that even some of those in sig campaigns actually read this stuff. Just ignore those who don't because to some of us it is a fascinating story. Smiley

I read these even though I badly want to join a sig campaign, it's worth my time and it's actually good to be honest  Cool
465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Pizza... on: January 08, 2021, 04:45:22 AM
He definitely went to yellow cab to go and buy himself a lifetime worth supplies of pizza and pasta HAHAHA, jokes aside though, I honestly think with that amount of BTC in his sleeves he'll definitely have a lifetime worth of money to spend on almost everything, he's filthy rich and I don't think you can spend it all on pizza  Grin
466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Discussion on: January 08, 2021, 04:37:26 AM
Best way on giving them the best assurance is by giving your thoughts and your experience, if you have 0 experience in investing then it will definitely be difficult, but if you do have then just simply share yours and they'll probably understand it and give it a try, the price may be at high right now and could fall anytime but with this high of a value, I don't think they'll have doubts once the price goes higher.
467  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hits $40k on: January 08, 2021, 04:33:34 AM
That's actually great, I was so busy yesterday working I wasn't able to check the price and also wasn't able to visit the forum, last year there were talks about Bitcoin continually going down to rot but ever since the pandemic begun, BTC just keeps on hitting back to back ATHs, and now it hits 40k!? let's see how long this run will go for.
468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi female or men ? on: January 06, 2021, 06:12:36 AM
This question comes up in my mind once but I didn't convince that Satoshi is a female in gender.

Until such time I found the Binance Blog that it is impossible from a characteristic of a woman become a crypto enthusiast.

Let me elaborate you on what content in the article in some important points and reason why women aren't in crypto and Satoshi isn't a female in gender.
  • Women are not interested in blockchain and cryptocurrency
  • Women are not skilled in investing in crypto
  • Blockchain companies are not women-friendly
  • Women don't occupy top positions in blockchain
  • Women cannot contribute to blockchain development

But in my assumption, Satoshi is a group of people.

I honestly don't think that this article is still relevant nowadays, Blockchain and cryptocurrency itself is available for both genders, and based on my experience, I have female friends who actually does better in me when it comes to knowledge about Bitcoin and how enthusiastic they are when it comes to learning more. I don't think bringing up this article would be of help to the OP, troll or not, and it also does sound sexist.

Although I do agree that the theories could either be that Satoshi is a group of people and the one who established it could then be male or female, just to add up to that bold assumption of yours, I really do think that the person who established Bitcoin is a guy.
469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: January 04, 2021, 03:33:14 AM
You can actually put gambling into profession, but not all games of course, my friend, who is a professional gambler is actually making heck of a profit out of this, gambling is definitely not all about luck, games like poker and backgammon, they all require skill and I can definitely be the witness of all success when it comes to gambling professionally.
470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH hits $1000 on: January 04, 2021, 03:23:01 AM
I can remember the time where ETH was at its lowest and a lot were actually doubting that it's gonna be worth it investing in this coin, a lot were even saying that it's going to die, but looking at how ETH is right now, those doubters were definitely making a big clownery to themselves, ETH is definitely worth to invest on, it always has been.
471  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin gradually clinching to $40k on: January 03, 2021, 03:06:35 AM
When the price actually struck at 20k usd, a lot of speculators speculated (you see what I did there  Cool ? ) that the price won't reach 30k anymore but even after all of those  guesses, the price still went upward and hitting 30k, I don't think it'd be a bad idea to hold it up and don't mind these other speculators that the price may go down,  but it's definitely up to you if you want to be sure of getting the profit or lose profit if the value suddenly goes down.
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shall I HODL DOGE? on: January 02, 2021, 01:32:21 PM
Bad idea, if you'll be holding something, hold ETH or BTC, dogecoin is great and everything but the value remained constant in a way that it goes very slow, just like the old first years of Bitcoin, it's a great coin (doge) but I can't assure you on what it'll be in the future, better hold something more valuable than doge. It is what it is.
473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "The Great Reset" on: January 01, 2021, 10:52:08 AM
Okay coming back to this thread on the final day of 2020 this is what I think on this 'The Great Reset' and 'Agenda 21' (2021)

'The Great Reset' is designed on purpose to destroy fiat paper cash resetting it to 0, then we move onto this new CBDC system that will not be based on Interest rates like the old system that the Knight Templars have created, but instead like on a real time system because everything is online fast connected nowadays where economic data is monitored live in real time and instruments can be adjusted in real time to influence the economy into either borrowing/spending economy or a saving economy.

It can also be a social reward system where citizens for example get rewarded higher value CBDC's for emitting less Co2 or punished with less valuable CBDC's for producing more Co2. A CBDC that can have 2 different simultaneous auto adjusted values to it at any one time so no need for interest rates or inflation targets.

For example Person A and Person B:

Person A cycles to work so he's wage is 100 CBDC's a week.

Person B drives to the same workplace so he's wage too is 100 CBDC's a week.

Both showing 100 CBDC's in their digital wallets however Person A CBDC's are much higher value because his Co2 footprint is 0 when cycling to work and when that Person A goes into a grocery shop to buy groceries the prices in the shop will adjust in real time to match the higher value of his CBDC's meaning stuff in shop will be cheaper for Person A and the opposite will happen to Person B.

So its like you can have a rich person & poor person next to each other showing the exact same balance.

Lenders can check what type of CBDC's you have and will lend if they see you have a good CDBC record and when the borrower pays back the loan the lender will get higher value CBDC's than it was lent out at so eliminating interest rates, no need for it that is end of the interest rate system.

Everything of our lives will be tracked in real time from how many time you blink a day to how much oxygen you have breathed in, how much co2 footprint. How this is possible? The advance of technology with faster Ai networks such as 6g, 7g, 8g etc. to implantable biotechnology such as micro chips in ourselves that our surroundings will react differently to what our chip/wallet says such as prices in shops/online for example.

Of course governments can do other things like shutting down your digital wallet for going against them like for example posting a twitter post on bringing back free speech or whatever you post that goes against the government's agenda. If your wallet is shut down you cant buy anything also governments can block or choose what you allowed to buy in a grocery store. So for example if your digital health records say you have diabetes then they can block your wallet from buying sugary drinks and candy.

Yeah I know this sounds all crazy and you all thinking it cant happen overnight and that's true it wont happen overnight but the agenda will start from next year Agenda 2021 and by 2030 we be in the early stages of this new system.

Your speculations are very much on point, especially with technology rapidly evolving every year, who knows how fast we will even advance in the future, when I read each of what you've stated, I honestly think that most of the things are definitely going to be possible, such as utilizing solar energy more and a cleaner 2030 by removing fiat and just purely implementing CBDC.
474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "The Great Reset" on: January 01, 2021, 07:55:09 AM
Going green and taking this 'Great Reset' is definitely gonna cost us a lot, it's expensive yet it will be a great extemt to our future, I definitely agree on the part of your post where Biden Democrats will support this, although I have a strong doubt that China will be a part of this, they are definitely out of the line when it comes to being enthusiastic about the environment, what they care about is power and economy. I got to admit, your keypoints are actually good, mining will probably be more eco-friendly in the future or else it will be banned, Government-owned cryptocurrencies may not be the best since it definitely is going to be regulated, no matter what government that is, let's just hope that in the uear 2030, better things await for us.
475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is headed for the stars, but... on: December 31, 2020, 12:29:48 PM
Bitcoin is headed for the stars, but to make the most profit, the Big Bitcoin Investors are causing BTC to jump around a bit. Bitcoin hangs at $20,000... going up and down, say, $500. Then it does the same at $21,000, and $22,000, and $23,000. All the little people get scared, and sell off to the Biggies before the profit goes sky-high and beyond.

Sell your bitcoins if you need food. It doesn't make sense to starve to death hoping that you will live off BTC profits.

But if you can, hang onto the Bitcoins you have. Because you will be rich when BTC goes to a $million or higher.

Cool

The best strategy to secure your daily needs and also your future, sell some and save more, get yourself decent food for the day and then you'll be getting better food in the future, getting yourself some coffee at Starbucks won't be a problem.  Cool
476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People still don't know about Bitcoin on: December 28, 2020, 01:04:55 PM
Some whom you have met probably is not knowledgeable enough about technology or probably is living a life without any kind of technology, go ahead and ask your friends and they'll.know a thing already about Bitcoin, in today's age, more and more people will be informed with Bitcoin, especially the young kids in this generation, hence making Bitcoin known throughout the world.
477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Africa's Bitcoin revolution is rapidly growing on: December 23, 2020, 04:09:55 PM
Coming from Africa, I never would have thought that they'll be making good use of Bitcoin, from a country that has not been fully developed unlike the rich countries, Africa on the other hand is making rapid growth, we all know that they have fully utilized mobile money, they do not only make use of Bitcoin but cryptocurrency itself, I honestly think that with the influence of today's generation citizens of Africa, the continent will continue to develop and probably overcome poverty in the future, I am not african but I definitely am happy that the influence of Bitcoin is making a good chance for them. What about in your country? is Bitcoin creating an influence and change as well in your own country?

478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let's create some Bitcoin meme on: December 23, 2020, 03:54:07 PM
Just look at Elon Musk's tweets and you'll see a thread pile of memes about Bitcoin and a bunch of cryptocurrencies  Grin
479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An example why we should hold bitcoin on: December 21, 2020, 03:37:32 PM
For the other people, they may have the capability to do a full hold on their bitcoin earnings assuming that yhey have other income to fully supply themselves and make it for the day, now other people may have to split the earnings and cash out the half of their bitcoins since they do not have the capability unlike the ones that you've mentioned, although I do understand your point OP, our point here is just that you can't force everyone to do a full hold unlike the persons that you've mentioned with your post.
480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / I introduced cryptocurrency to my friends by using DOGECOIN on: December 20, 2020, 03:06:17 PM
Of all cryptocurrencies, why doge? as a crypto enthusiast myself, I love sharing my experiences with Bitcoin and other cryptcies with my friends, I often get to start off my sharing with DOGECOIN rather than Bitcoin, why is it you say? Well since my friends (at least in my circle of friends) know a lot and love doge memes, I then start off the topic by talking about doge and how popular doge is, then I finally start to tackle about dogecoin being an actual digital currency (I decided to say digital currency so they'd have an idea instead of cryptocurrency) and after a short explanation they are then ought to believe with what I'm saying by showing that I am actually earning dogecoins, and after a few months, they've started planning to actually buy dogecoins and see for themselves, it's actually an easier way to make them benefit with cryptocurrency using other cryptocurrency rather than just by relying on Bitcoin.
