I think @swogerino was referring to betting at other sportsbooks. They usually offer bets on the result after 90 minutes. I prefer to make these a 2 way bet on the overall result so that we're offering something different to what most other sites are doing.

This sort of problem is usually caused by some plugin or extension interfering with the JavaScript. Disable everything and see if that works. As a last resort delete all cookies for the site. That will force a logout.

When it all started "win 1 BTC" was our kind of trademark. Then the 2013 bull run really got going and it quickly became 0.66 BTC, which was anywhere near as catchy. As the price kept going up it became 0.33BTC and then someone here on the forum came up with the idea of automatically linking it to BTCUSD rather than just keep making adjustments. $200 was just the value of the prize at that point in time it was linked. It isn't complex at all. There's a checkbox on the multiply BTC page to randomise the client seed on every roll or if you are playing manually you can simply reload the page.

You are spot on with the point that we don't know if you are going to bet hi or lo. We also don't know if you are going to change the client seed or not. Both of those things mean that if we tried to anticipate then someone would work out when we would do it and they'd be guaranteed to win.

Some small sites use a static server seed but you're right that it would be impossible on a site this large. The "computing resources" more specifically disk space required would be astronomical and make the site financially unviable. Most people won't even know what it is and will never reveal their server seed at all meaning would have to store all their rolls for eternity. With over 135 billion rolls so far that would be infeasible.
It's also completely pointless. Both systems perform the function of being provable fair meaning that every player has the opportunity to prove if we cheated or not to themselves. Changing the system just because a handful of customers have a preference isn't a good idea.

The server knows the result as soon as it receives your client seed and bet details. On most sites, there's some sort of animation going on to keep you amused while you wait for that information to come back over the internet to you.

You guess correctly. The reason we introduced locking incentivised by paying interest was to encourage people to become long term investors. Overnight and auto locking doesn't help achieve that. Binance has a different business model so they'll implement things they believe will help achieve their goals.

The problem with doing that is that I'll be inundated with people claiming they locked them accidentally demanding I unlock them. We try to make these things so it is impossible to do unintentionally.

You're confusing terms. What you describe here is a raffle. Well known lotteries like Powerball and Euromillions have a variable amount of tickets with no limit. What makes them slightly different from ours is that customers can choose their own numbers and therefore it is possible for there to be more than one winning ticket. There is also a chance that no winner will be drawn and the prize rolled over. So although the chances of winning are fixed (by the function of the possible numbers to pick) the amount you can win is decided by the number of tickets sold.
Ours is a hybrid of the two that guarantees that there is always one winner.

Sorry, it's taken a little time to get back to you. I think you have just got confused about the benefits. You had 3 spins because you held level 1 (2500) for more than 180 days. Level 2 (5000) gives the same until you have held level 2 for 90 days when it will increase to 4.

You upgrade from one level to the next rather than stack them. ie. Level 2 does not equal level 1 + level 2.

It isn't him that has a problem. He's just trying to troll using other people's issues. What I was actually explaining to that customer is that when there is a problem affecting a large number of users I work through them in the order I receive them. Posting in the threads that they PM'd me or sending multiple messages doesn't jump the queue.
It's actually quite funny on the contact us form messages. They come through as emails with a copy sent to the user. The ones that keep replying to it and yelling at me to hurry up actually bump themselves back to the bottom of the queue each time because it became the newest message again.

The 9th was the day that we had a database crash. Some buys/sells, deposits and withdrawals from that day aren't reflected in users' balances. PM me your user ID and I'll pass it on to wetsuit for him to fix it.

Also just a general point. Some people got emails about saving redeems being credited but they are just duplicates of old redemptions caused by the database restore process. Nothing is actually missing from those.

I will do after I've looked at the 300 emails ahead of yours in the queue.
