There is no guarantee that there you will see the 50-500-5000 reward again. Previously, the bitcoin price needed to be $40,000 or lower to reach the maximum rewards but they've gradually moved that amount so the price has to go even lower to get that amount.
Actually, when we first introduced WoF with 50 base reward the Bitcoin price was around $10,000 and we allowed it to rise significantly before starting to gradually reign back costs. With the odds changes and gradual reduction, you are still getting more now in USD than you were then. ~

Privacy is a tricky situation. Obviously that dude understood the reason why people post it very wrongfully, kakmakr normally posts a lot better stuff, probably mistook it somehow.
I was just surprised kakmakr didn't know it was the promotion that was used to launch the site. And people who STILL post their address are definitely a bit behind the days to say the least...
It's actually an out of date account farming spambot. Before merit was needed they used to farm high ranking accounts by getting the posts and activity just posting in giveaway threads. I have no idea why people still try to use it. However sharing your address does compromise your situation a little bit. Not a lot, but at least it connects you with your wallet address and then you are reminded of it anywhere you go. I used to use another address, and I remember someone asking me to sign that address to prove I was still the same person and did not sell my account or something. Thank God that I had access to it, and managed to sign it, but that shouldn't even be a thing in crypto.
So, to answer your question, yes participating with an address "doxxes" you in a way, not like my real name and home address level, but still it sticks me to this corner and doesn't allow me to move somewhere else.
The thing about privacy is that you just need a little knowledge to protect it. Posting an address isn't a problem if you know how not to then connect that address to your other addresses. |

There is no message telling me what you want to do to the account. There is no Bitcoin address or explanation of how that address is was previously connected to the account. Without that there is nothing to verify. It looks like it's probably the signatures used to sign a transaction pulled of the blockchain using a block explorer. As the blockchain is publically viewable everyone in the world can see them and they don't prove anything about ownership. |

This website reminds me of some of my winning jackpots and web browsing mining. I don't know why this website closed the web mining but I still miss that feature and I wish and the developer brings it back.
Web mining thing was removed long time ago. If I'm not mistaken, main reason of removal is antivirus programs - they don't like CPU mining and give warnings to users about it. I think that one of antivurus programs even blocked acces to Freebitco.in. So, it's not very likely that they're going to bring web mining back. That was the reason at the time. They flag websites as malicious if they contain browser mining but even if that hadn't happened Coinhive shut down not long after so it would have gone then. |
