481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Biggest winning so far on: April 15, 2020, 01:25:09 PM
Its only 1 month when 2020 came around the corner but I would like to know what your largest win is so far and if you have set yourself some targets for this year.

Below you can see mine that I won a couple weeks ago. However I only owned 20% of this jackpot pool ticket that won 24.000€ I scooped 4800€ and some pocket money for a 1.2€ contribution to the ticket.

I am not really lucky with jackpot and in terms of my gambling activities, I only spent my extra money so when I win it is only small unlike what you have win so far. Winning that amount is already a good start for you this year 2020 and it will be good if you can share what website you are using so we can check also whether we can also join and try our luck.

I am not really a gambling addict or a gambling specialist therefore setting some targets to win for this year 2020 is not in my mind but if I will be going to set some for myself then winning like 500-1000$ is already a good number if I will get lucky by this year.
482  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I sell bitcoin now? on: April 15, 2020, 01:05:17 PM
Everyone is telling that bitcoin is going to 3K. Every news and notifications points that the trend is going towards 3K.
Bitmex CEO is twitting he believes bitcoin could go even as low as 2100, so would it be better to sell my bitcoin now and buy for 50% cheaper?
Seems like everybody are trying their best to decrease the price, it might be better to move with the herd?
I see that you are not a trader and base on your statement I can consider you as a newbie yet in terms of investment as you give too much attention to other speculation. The market is indeed very volatile but you should put more trust to your investment, if you are not that in need with your money then hold it for a long term one or until the end of this year and you will surely get a good amount of profit.

The market will not die that easily as many will try to buy some btc if it will goes down that deep, so as of this moment the best thing to do is to buy more instead of selling your assets.
483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Corona drop over or will it continue? on: April 15, 2020, 12:34:15 PM
Dow jones just ended the longest bull run in history which turned into the fastest run into a bear market (18 days) since 1931.
Crypto is also experiencing a major hit with blood red numbers all over.

It is obvious that Corona is the reason behind it (with a extra spark from the oil turbulence this monday)
The world i going into panic mode with flights cancelled from Europe to the US, Italy in lock down, social gatherings stopped in a number of countries.

Read in a previous thread "Do not blame Corona", how could you not?
What other drivers would that be?

I do not see this being over soon, the question is if the financial and crypto market already included that in the current price levels or if we will continue to freefall?
The chances is still 50/50 as we don't have a control over the market but if the big investors will try to push the market upward then the crash of the market will be stop. The biggest drop has been done already because of corona virus so there is a very less chance that the market will continue to crash that deep again.

Upon checking the market, there are a little upward and downward but right now we are in green so we can say that the drop over will likely to be stop and it will not continue.
484  Economy / Economics / Re: The Corona Pandemic economic guessing game on: April 15, 2020, 11:39:18 AM
Which country's government will be the most affected by the COVID-19 global pandemic, and be the first to go bankrupt, and default?
Bankruptcy is kinda deep to talk about as most of the countries even if they are very poor will likely to create a counter measure in order to avoid this kind of happening as it is the worst. A country that is bankrupt is almost dead but the poorest country will likely to be hit hard if in case they will be affected that much by the virus and they can't contain it.

So it's a matter on how they are going to deal with the virus, other are imposing lockdown to lessen the affected person therefore all will depend on how the government will take a counter measure to this pandemic until the vaccine will be available. Even the wealthiest country are not exempted to this especially if they mismanaged this situation like what happened to USA where the infected persons are keep on growing. So in the end, I will not try to guess if who is the first country to become bankrupt as I don't like the idea and if possible I don't want any countries to suffer a bankruptcy.
485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Browser extensions can steal bitcoin on: April 15, 2020, 10:59:52 AM
Its been a long time since ive knew that browser extensions are bad news and in fact they should consider red flags, you can easily get viruses on your pc or even spyware but the latest news about these so called browser extensions is they can be used to steal your coins, consider this a warning for those who use chrome and mozilla firefox browser extensions regularly. I came across the warning while surfing the internet today.

Browser extensions can help scammers steal your crypto Casa CEO Jeremy Welch warned the audience at the Baltic Honeybadger conference in Riga this weekend.

Sorry i couldn't drop link to the full news because i got the warning news from pivot news which would require you to download app before reading any news, share this warning with friends and crypto fans especially newbies
It will be best if you will only use the trusted wallet because not all browser extensions are created just to steal our bitcoin or money. Metamask is one of the browser that I continue to use and I trusted of course because it is secure and easy to use.

With regards to other extensions that are not that popular, you should be very careful because anything that you are going to install in your browser can easily still our money if the hackers are behind the browser extension. It is better to become safe than sorry later so don't easily trust and install browser extensions that are not being use by many if you don't want to loss your hard earned money.
486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to avoid fraudulent projects? on: April 15, 2020, 08:15:23 AM
I think there is still a way to overcome the problem of scamers in this crypto room (but I'm not saying to eliminate it completely). . This might not have a big effect but at least it can reduce some of the fraud projects that exist in this industry. . like avoiding and not promoting suspicious projects repeatedly. .
I have always observed that many of them and even have high ratings but still support suspicious projects, especially participants (social media).
maybe this is one reason why many fraud projects are increasingly rampant, because someone always gives hope to them and makes someone trapped in it.

so what do you think?
I draw the conclusion above based on what I saw there.
Of course the bounty hunters who have been here for a good amount of time are already avoiding those projects that are very obvious and suspicious but what we cannot control are those newbies who want to earn their first money by bounty hunting. Even if we can easily see a shit project but newbies are very blind about it so it is pretty difficult to avoid them completely because they can surely get a support from newbies.

So what will be good is for the forum moderators to monitor closely all the incoming newbie so we can guide them correctly without falling to those fraudulent project and supporting them. And to those high rankings that promote a suspicious project, it will be good if they will be reported or banned as they are making the forum from good to worst.
487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is the best to earn more? airdrop or bounty? on: April 15, 2020, 07:54:21 AM
How much you can earn in airdrop and bounty? Which is the fastest way in earning?
It is very clear that bounty campaigns will dominate easily the airdrop so my answer to your question is that bounty is the fast way to earn in this forum compare to airdrop. Right now airdrops are almost not profitable because of the market situation compare to bounty campaign that you can still earn a good amount of money if you will be participating to a potential project.

Airdrop can be finish easily and it will only take a few minutes to complete a single airdrop while bounty campaigns will need a lot of time before you can get your share so you can distinguish already if who among them will give you a good amount of earnings.
488  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why bitcoin will never fall? on: April 15, 2020, 03:41:37 AM
First: Bitcoin survives thanks to mining.
Second: Bitcoin has already been through falls and several bearish trends. This is a very persistent asset. Its system is designed in such a way that rate corrections and other adverse market conditions will not pose a threat to the existence of Bitcoin.
Third: it is very banal, but it is used by a very large number of people working with cryptocurrency. Bitcoin is like a dollar, only in the cryptocurrency world, well, it is worth an order of magnitude higher)
Well, another thing that can be said is that they invest in it and sell it and buy it. And this keeps the market going
Of course, this is all very superficial, but you should not worry that it will start to fall heavily at some point (although I think that when it falls heavily and then there will be a strong jump)
All of these are not enough if all the governments will counter bitcoin by banning it and all the users will fined or jailed if they will be found using it. But don't worry, these scenario is very close to impossible to happen because of the wide adoption of bitcoin and the big whales are favoring it over other currencies.

So in your statement, I will side with you that as of this moment bitcoin will never fall if there will be no intervention with all the governments which is very rare to happen in the future.

489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The door is never closed to new traders on: April 15, 2020, 03:08:52 AM
Most questions that bothers newbies, and crypto currency ethusiasts are,

can i join this trade?
is crypto currency bearish enough to trade?
Is it safe to trade now ?
Can i learn trading now ?

Amidst such doubts, and thoughts, i believe as a newbie or established crypto professionals, as long as you have done your research and learnt basic trade strategies.
It is easier to begin as a traders, and if you learn faster, the best.

But the door is always open to new traders or new investors.
As long as the newbie is open minded and resourceful then the door for trading is always open to them but they should not skip the basics before they will trade. Newbie should consider try and error first and they should only put a small amount as a test trade so they can adjust whatever the problem they will face while trading.

In that way, they can experience trading using a small amount while continuing to upgrade their skill and knowledge and once the newbie is comfortable enough then they can upgrade their trading money slowly.
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cheating or Not? on: April 14, 2020, 11:50:07 PM
Cheating or NOT Cheating?

Coming from altcoinstalk forum I've experience few projects going against their own rules like saying on promotion page that no KYC will be required and after promotion ends they tell promoters to go and open account on an exchange and pass KYC, what can this be called? Cheating? Any consequences for such projects on this forum? Thank you.

You should check all their rules whether they also include that they can change the rules anytime or something like that but if there is no rule that are stating something like that then it is very obvious that they are mocking the bounty hunters. It will be good if they will be reported, the same with the bounty manager or you create a thread with regards to their behavior so everyone will be aware and avoid them.

I am not really familiar with the rules of altcointalk but if they can somehow banned the project owner account and red tag the bounty manager then it can really help. KYC is an obvious violation of rules if it was not stated in their bounty campaign rules and I really hate KYC as anyone can easily use your credentials without your permission so make sure that you will use wisely your KYC credentials.
491  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Canada include the bitcoin. on: April 14, 2020, 12:53:10 PM

Photo created by First Public Bitcoin Fund Listed on Toronto Stock Exchange

Today there is a piece of good news, the Canadian assets 3IQ corp is now supporting the use of the bitcoin on their Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) after getting the approval on the day of April 10 the twin entrepreneur "The Winklevoss twins" support the exchange of this bitcoin fund. The TSX is one of the largest stock exchanges in Canada that can gain more than $97 billion of there trade. What is it all about? This helps a lot to the market price of the bitcoin because if one of the exchanges accepts this kind of transaction many people will now buy a lot of coins with their fiat currency and it causes to increase rapidly the bitcoin. Also, this project gets helps a lot of people to recognize the use and the benefits of the bitcoin, this kind of news will bring up the bitcoin price again.

A simple acceptance of bitcoin is a good news already and now that Canada accepts it then it is better news as bitcoin virus will spread further that will cause the price to increase. Everyone likes to increase the price of bitcoin and if this TSX will bring more demand to bitcoin then it is a good opportunity to grab more bitcoin then store it for a long term one as days passes by bitcoin became stronger and stronger.

This only means that bitcoin virus is slowly spreading in every country, the big catch to this news is that those who have no knowledge in bitcoin will be curious once the TSX will support the exchange of bitcoin into other currencies.
492  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s second corona wave can it crush it’s economy? on: April 14, 2020, 11:58:18 AM
Just when we thought that China had banished corona from it’s land suddenly new cases began to pop up at record pace, and now the health experts believe that it could be a second potential wave of Coronavirus in China. At this stage China will once again be forced to go into lockdown, and do you’ll think that it’s economy will be able to recover quickly from this second lockdown too?.

Source:

https://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/latest-news/china-coronavirus-cases-hit-highest-21857013

China is a country who have almost everything to counter any outbreak and as you can see even if they are the first country to be hit by the virus, they are still intact and was able to control the spread by imposing a lockdown to Wuhan. These only means that their government is wise enough to fight the virus while making their economy balance.

So I cannot agree with you with it, as I am confident that China is strong enough to fight the 2nd wave of virus while protecting their economy. They must be preparing for a counter measure in order to easily recover in case their economy will be affected that much.
493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling a threat or fun? on: April 14, 2020, 11:28:37 AM
This question is always on my mind since then until now. I want to know the opinion of everyone here on this platform. I know that we have all different perception about gambling, so I respect what will be your point of view about that.

But to share my opinion, I consider gambling as a threat to gamblers. Yes, there are a lot of people who find happiness in gambling if and only if they can control their selves from this, but no matter how fun can gambling gives to you, the problem is still there, the addiction on it is always there, it grows day by day. There are so many disadvantages of being so addicted in gambling, one of which is forgetting your priority, spending your time to your family and your friend, you won't be able to more productive things than losing money, to the point that even you already lose and don't have enough money to play, you will make ways, there are times that you will ask a request to your friend to give you money as debt. You should be the one who controls the gamble and don't let the gamble control you.
It is a threat of course as you can see most of the gamblers are having a higher percentage of losing rather than winning and as what you have said being addicted is the big threat to all the gamblers. Even if we will start to gamble as a hobby or to have fun but if you are going to continue to, you will not notice that you are already addicted to it.

But for those who really have a control then it is not a threat for them especially if they are only using the small percentage of their extra money as their capital in gambling. For gamblers, make sure that you still have a control of yourself and don't be greedy.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn and learn and keep learning will safe you from lots of foul play on: April 14, 2020, 10:13:25 AM
Honestly If anyone just come into crypto space through a link or online ads it's easier to get lost and fall victim to scams, i never get hacked for once or lost money to scam projects simply because I favoured learning things I don't know anything about, why can't people be like this either? This will easily safe you from money doubling schemes and Ponzi schemes, please newcomers and members, be more willing to learn.
Because people are very greedy that is why many are losing their money easily, newbie are taking the easiest path to earn money which is very opposite to the real world. There is no easy money in crypto especially if you are still a newbie as you didn't know yet how to play the market correctly in order to profit.

Learning is the best solution for it and I agree with you, our daily experience are very important learning that we should keep on growing if we like to avoid any foul play or tactics from scammers just to rob our hard earned money.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Another Exchange got hacked on: April 14, 2020, 09:25:28 AM
Another crypto exchange got hacked and this time the victim is Bisq, a trading platform that has temporarily ceased all its trading services that unfortunately cost users at least $250,000 in digital funds, is there no year gone by withouth a crypto exchange getting hacked? This one weaks me, will this ever stop?
There is not new, as long as the hackers can find any holes in the security of any exchange then they will surely rob it. There are many exchanges that got hacked in the past therefore it will be best for the exchange owners to tighten their security more or update it daily if possible because they are holding the money of their users.

Even big exchanges got hacked, so this story is not new already but I am hoping that other exchange out there will learn from this happenings and will do something to counter this hacking incident so they can provide their users a peace of mind.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is DGTX token have potential to surpass 1$ this year on: April 14, 2020, 08:51:10 AM
What do you think that DGTX can surpass 1$ this year or may it will remain below 0.10$
DGTX is currently rank number 91 base on coinmarketcap with $0.044054 price and upon checking it's all time high is only $0.160608 that occurred last bull run (Oct 14, 2018). So surpassing 1$ might be a dream as of this moment even if we will shift to bull season by this year but everything is possible so if the team behind the project will upgrade and use any means to skyrocket their demand then achieving 1$ or more is still possible.

But if the team will not do some crazy marketing techniques then 1$ price will remain a dream for DGTX knowing that there are many currencies out there that are willing to surpass their limit just to skyrocket their demand.
497  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Well Organized Scam Projects on: April 14, 2020, 06:22:27 AM
How can we safe ourselves from well organized scam projects? Some projects are so well crafted and in the end they scam people, to my own understand research doesn't help here at all, use case, whitepaper, team, every thing are so real and make sense, please give advice about this
You are right scammers are upgrading their tactics so it's pretty difficult to trust new projects right now as we will not know whether they are really genuine with their goal or they are only after with the money. There are many who fall victim to this kind of tactics already like some projects out there that almost reach their hard cap but in the end they fade slowly, leaving the investors hanging.

I can't really point out a good counter measure to them not only if there will be government that will create a counter measure to them and put those people in jail once they will be found guilty.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When Will You Start Buying Again on: April 14, 2020, 03:31:20 AM
The market is standing still and investors are on a wait and see now, people are waiting for this pandemic to end and they are following if there is a new vaccine or any vaccine will be released in the next few months, judging from all the news coming out at least 4 countries are on clinical test on a proven vaccine, so there is hope that this pandemic will be controlled.

Will you start buying after the release of the vaccine or are you go going to wait or are you now buying because you know the market will eventually get better.
I will buy again after this pandemic of course as I need to gather some extra funds where I can use to replace my old assets that I sold during the lockdown. But for the investors who have enough funds then right now is the best option for them to buy as the price is very low and they can easily profit once the market will recover once this pandemic will be finished.

The best option right now is to buy and hold for a long term as there is a very little chance that we will fall down again base on the current market situation as the big investors will surely do something to push the market upward so they can also profit.
499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Offline cryptocurrency transfer? on: April 14, 2020, 02:52:46 AM
This was posted 30 minutes ago from one of my socials, one of the group that I'd follow, Crypto Crunch App, posted this Photo (below)

credits to the owner of the image

I found out that it is true, you can read more here https://cointelegraph.com/news/top-venezuelan-exchange-launches-support-for-offline-bitcoin-transfers

What do you guys think about this? I don't think this is possible, not until now. I'm still out of words for this news.
This is another step for crypto currency as they were able to find a solution to those places who have no internet connection. Sending money via message is very smart approach and I hope that it cannot be breached easily by the hackers so the other exchanges will adapt it someday.

It will surely help to solve the problem of crypto acceptance as one of the hindrances are those places where internet connection or electricity is not available as they cannot use crypto at all. But if this will be possible to any exchanges out there then it is very helpful and I really love to see how it will work also.
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: High rewards still possible in bounties? on: April 14, 2020, 02:24:54 AM
Is high rewards like 350,000$ for bounty hunters still possible this days? I know it's all down to the success of the project but is this still achievable? How many successful projects with such reward paid hunters since 2018 that you know?
It is still possible but the problem is we cannot really assure that those bounties will become successful especially in this situation of the market where we are almost at the bottom again due to the outbreak. The possibility is still there but the percentage of the project will become successful upon making a bounty like these is very small, about less than 10% if they are willing to gamble in this type of the market.

The main problem of every project owners right now is the gathering of investors even if they have genuine idea about their project because in this type of market situation there are only few investors who are active. Let's just hope that bull season will happen asap so we can join again a beautiful bounty campaigns that offer a good amount of rewards which is 350K$ and more.
