861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum About to Break Out of a 2-Year Bear Market? on: January 23, 2020, 12:08:56 AM
Crypto markets are holding steady for another day following a slight pullback from their recent rally. Ethereum is still looking strong but can it finally pull out of its two-year bear market?

https://bitcoinist.com/is-ethereum-about-to-break-out-of-a-2-year-bear-market/
We can finally see whether it can finally pull out from it's two year bear after the Chinese New year as right now there is a big chance that the market will pullback a little due to the occasion.

But after the occasion, once the price of ethereum will steadily goes upward then there is a big chance for a comeback or we can say that the bull run is coming to all crypto currencies and not only for ethereum.
862  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who bought Bitcoin in late 2017? Still recovering or fully recovered? on: January 22, 2020, 12:11:21 PM

Well i am in the same boat.

Just out of curiosity, is there any still recovering from the deadly bitcoin price in late 2017?

or fully recovered and seeing profit? or Sold away at that moment or later?

I did bought a btc last 2017 almost peak of bitcoin price but after the huge deficit of price I decided to sell my bitcoins to cut my loss and I just bought again @7k price and hoping to gain more profits while waiting for another bull run.

If bull run will happen this year, I can easily recover my loss last 2017 and if lucky maybe a little profit. You should always cut your loss if you see that the market is starting to shift as it is not easy to see your holdings that keeps on decreasing it's price.
863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Creating shit TOKEN make good profit ? on: January 22, 2020, 09:33:55 AM
Hi guys
do u think if i created a shit token (with no project) and add it to shit exchange can i get profit ?  Grin
i mean im preparing to create a token and add it to new exchanges with law fees
and i promote investors for ex to give them 50 per cent of any ammount they bought
from the token for ex if you bought 10000 coins i will give u 5000 coins for free
do u think this idea can make investors buy it ?
This will only continue to hurt the reputation of good projects out there so I suggest that you should stop your plan but we have freedom in crypto space so goodluck if you are really planning to do this kind of trick.

If you will become successful, I am pretty sure that only newbies and noobs will participate in your plan. But if you can market it correctly then you can surely make a good profit.
864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin value starts with people's attention? or with its technology? on: January 22, 2020, 06:26:00 AM

Is Bitcoin really a such innovative thing that can change people's lives significantly in the future?

I think we still live fine without having Bitcoin being actively used in our real lives.

Oh well... In terms of transparency, i can take on Bitcoin's technology.

But which one is it that raised its value so much though?

Technology or People's attention?
People's attention because bitcoin is dependent to it's demand and the one who dictates the demand are the investors which are the people.

So without us bitcoin is useless that is why the founder and supporters of bitcoin are doing their best to advertise bitcoin in order to reach to other people who are potential investors or supporters in order to raise the price of bitcoin. More demand means higher price.
865  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My funds have been stolen! on: January 22, 2020, 05:25:39 AM
Hello,
I have a crisis! I have withdrawn (for the seventh time) to my BTC wallet.
After posting the funds (and obtaining two confirmations) - there was an outgoing transaction that was not authorized by me !! The transaction was released twenty minutes after the first confirmation - to some fresh address with no transaction history and is an RBF transaction. It's exactly a transaction at 0.4BTC.
My BTC address from which the funds were stolen: 1CCEQxuUkb6RKQM4TDYbQemBVs2ihe45ps
Address to which funds were sent:
3DTjnTxjPnePfvg3haTyUQQeFK2riuZ1Fr
Unauthorized transaction ID: 2f79dda8aea3f06400be07f04f65b6045ba2e0235efa0bba0f6d9d6375da421c

The transaction is marked as RBF!
I use client Electrum 3.3.8
There is no option for someone to steal a private key from your computer because I watch security all the time!

Is it going to somehow stop the flow of funds or recover them?
I am desperate because these funds were supposed to be for my mother's health.
I rarely use electrum wallet as their are plenty of breaches to their security and with your current situation it is almost 0% that you can still recover your funds even if you are desperate to take it back.

Next time it will be best if you use a much more secured wallet like blockchain or your local exchange if you have some so you can easily reach the customer service in case there is a problem in your wallet like this one.
866  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Some exchanges charges are too high on: January 22, 2020, 01:35:48 AM
How many exchanges you know of that have too high withdrawal fee? I was shocked that Dcoin exchange wants 0.001 for any bitcoin withdrawal you want to make while other exchanges charges only 5000 Satoshi for bitcoin withdrawal, I was forces to exchange my bitcoin for litecoin before getting my coins out
I have no problems with our local exchange as we have the option on what fees to use in any bitcoin withdrawal but in your situation it will be best that you should stay away from those exchange that offers pretty high withdrawal fee.

And your pretty smart as that is my doing also if I saw a pretty high withdrawal fee but in my case I am using either xrp or ethereum so I can less in withdrawal fee compare to withdrawing it via bitcoin.
867  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pain of a bounty manager. on: January 21, 2020, 10:44:33 AM
Yes we are talking about the hassle which the bounty manager goes through and bounties of good projects which fails and the development team ends up with huge loss, as a result, they could not focus on further developments and just don't bother to distribute the bounty tokens to the bounty hunters until the investors trade the tokens or else just shuts down the project.

Management's fault:
They tend to be greedy at one point of time and starts thinking that if they distribute the bounty to the hunters they will dump it anyway nad the value of token will crash down and they dealy the distribution meanwhile the bounty hunters start writing bad about the project and there were instances that the genuine bounty projects were termed as scam for this issue.

Bounty hunter's fault:
Bounty hunter just join any random campaign without investigating and then they are the greediest bunch(not everyone) I have seen while managing the campaigns as one user registers with hundreds of fake accounts and that too their account has followers who have nothing to do with crpto as most of them as desperate who just follows the twitter account by looking at fake DP of some hot girls which are often used by the hunters to gain more followers, moreover, the bounty users enter their ETH address on some other person's profile as well and if the bounty manager does not check that then the cheater will get paid twice and the person who works hard will not be paid, submitting false report is one of the main concern wherein the bounty manager has to check thousands of report and some of them just copy-paste old reports to get reward without working.

Then comes those users who keeps spamming the telegram group by sharing some scam projects and irrelevant stuff from numerous fake profiles.

I think the whole bounty process has become a shithole and the worst part is that the signature campaigns are not entertained by bounties as they want to reach wider audience without knowing that most of the social media campaigns do not reach any real audience as it reaches some fake profiles who follow the bounty hunters just by looking at their picture.

Regardless of the issue, the bounty managers are cursed as if they are paying out of their pocket. Users needs to understand that even bounty managers are paid for their job just like bounty hunters and most of the time even they are not paid for their hardwork. Even a slightest negligence from bounty hunters gets them a negative trust thanks to those merit thirsty users who tries to blame it all on bounty hunters to get a merit.

this is just a brief of not even 5% of pain which bounty managers go through.
This only summarized how difficult the task of bounty managers and the bounty hunters should also respect them especially in the event that there are mistakes that happened or there are delays with the stake counting.

Most of the bounty hunters are blaming the bounty managers if their stakes are not correct and they didn't even bother in thinking why they only get that stakes. It's not easy to be a bounty manager if their are plenty of hunters that are almost noob (They just randomly do the task without reading the rules and guidelines). This is the common mistakes of the bounty hunters, though not all but most of the new hunters are like these.
868  Economy / Marketplace / Re: According to CMC, in 2019 crypto cap has tripled, and daily volumes passed $70B. on: January 21, 2020, 06:35:57 AM
According to CMC, since the beginning of 2019 the crypto cap has tripled, and daily trading volumes passed $70B. However, some are questioning the legitimacy of this data. With individual & institutional investors flooding into crypto, its time to evaluate how many people are really trading crypto

After a disappointing 2018, crypto markets are booming once again.

Backed by institutional investors, growing numbers of individual enthusiasts, and broad support for its underlying technology, the blockchain, the entire crypto sector is seeing a resurgence.

According to data collected by CoinMarketCap, the collective crypto cap has nearly tripled since the start of the year. Led by Bitcoin (which has also tripled its value since its low point in 2018) cryptocurrencies are outperforming many other investment assets, including stocks, bonds, gold, and oil.

For those who witnessed crypto’s meteoric rise in 2017, this year’s activity might seem incredibly familiar.

USDT fake volume

Many Exchanges fake volume

EOS fake how much they raised

So, How Many People Are Really Trading Cryptocurrency?

Article and more info about it

What do you guys think?
There is a big possibility that the credibility of that data is only half true as most of the exchanges are faking their volume and cmc is only basing their data in overall exchanges data if I hit it correctly.

But the adaption of crypto currencies are keep on growing as days passes by so I believe the demand is keep on increasing. I also want to know if their are platforms that can trace the total number of people that use and trade crypto currencies.
869  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quality or Price? - which one you look when buying altcoins? on: January 21, 2020, 05:41:28 AM
Hi I'm not a technical guy and I really want to invest in altcoins. Fo you guys which do you guys prefer in this time when buying your altcoins?
Do you still like to buy those under rank cryptos that low price or you preferred to buy those on the top? Or do you prefer projects which have constant project development and updates that still build even though they fell from the bottom? Or you skip those low satoshi altcoins even though they still have great developments?

And if you can give me some idea too to where I can research project development statistics and quality of altcoins. Sorry for my English?
For the safest investment, it will be best if you choose those coins/altcoins that are in top 10 at least which have an active team that keeps on improving their platform while strengthening their marketing techniques.

As those are the key factors that they ate serious about their project and the demand of that coin/altcoin will surely grow the same with its price therefore they are very the most suitable to invest.

870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I lost all my bitcoin on: January 21, 2020, 04:41:21 AM

Going short or long has got me so much money but at the same time, it makes me too bold.

Now what?

Stop doing it? or Start diversified investment in Stock?

or Not at all?

Whatever makes you comfortable is the best choice that you should pick, stock investment is not that bad also if you know how to play with it correctly but the only disadvantage of stocks is you need to wait for a long period if time in order to gain a better profit.

Unlike in crypto in which the possibility in earning a good amount of money is pretty high if the market will start to move upward. Or you can just split your investment in stock and in crypto 50/50 then see for yourself if what investment will give you a better ROI.
871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The future of bounty looks uncertain on: January 21, 2020, 12:43:47 AM
Hello Guys,

We all know ICO is totally dead, so, there will be no successful ICO bounties! STO bounties are more than shit, doing STO bounty just waste of time, trust me! And then come to IEO! IEO hype is gone, it passing a very tough time nowadays! All the shit exchange's bounty is also shit. Just count how many shit exchange's bounties you did and how much you earned! Good exchange's IEO doesn't have bounties most of the time. So, there left post ICO/IEO or self-funded project's bounties! Those are very few and their budget looks penny! Right now many bounties are running but according to my research, I could not pick 3 good bounties!

So, what do you think about the future of bounty? It looks uncertain to me!
Good bounties will surely pop up again once the market will shift from bear to bull but right now let's just focus on few bounties that offers a promising reward and have the potential to succeed.

There are very few so we need to be wise on what to join or you can just join a bounty that give an ETH or btc as reward. Most of that campaigns are signature, be resourceful and patient and I'm sure that you can find a good one.
872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: This is why you shouldn't trust a Centralized Exchange! on: January 20, 2020, 02:41:32 PM
Hack, scam are common things in Centralized exchange. Don't get fooled by the high rank or huge trading volume, still, they are not safe! Binance CEO CZ was very confident that Binance is like a hardware wallet, he tweeted about it and after one month of that tweet, Binance got hacked and 7000 Bitcoin was compromised! Bithumb, Coinbene was hacked several times, many centralized exchanges scammed us.

Recently BCNEX exchange is likely to scam, they locked withdrawal, after 20 days when they unlocked the withdrawal function, people started withdrawing their money, but BCNEX is not finishing our withdrawals, they limited the itl by 50$ only! I have withdrawn my ETH 6 hours ago, still pending, some withdrew 14 hours go, still pending!

So, this is proved again why you shouldn't keep your money on a centralized exchange! Your money can be a scam or hacked anytime!
Yeah your right if possible don't put large amount of money in any centralized exchange as their are many factors that can trap your money in that exchange.

Or you can put money in centralized exchange but make sure that you will not let it stay for a long period of time to avoid those problems like hacking and scamming attempt. Anything can happen so it's better that we need to be wise or else we will lose our hard earned money easily.
873  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Okay. Charge tax on bitcoin. Is this fair policy? on: January 20, 2020, 10:01:22 AM

I noticed that certain country may charge tax on earning from Bitcoin trading...

20% tax on it. I think this is quite ridiculous.

That means govt sees it as a lottery.

What do you guys think?
This is ridiculous and I am wondering also if how they are going to do it, are they enforcing it via their local exchange? It will be best if you can provide some example also so we can also check whether their moves is illegal or not.

Tax is like 12% only in most of the government but most of the governments that adapt crypto currencies are not putting tax to the traders as they only ask for tax to their local exchange the same in our country.
874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cosmochain to be Delisted from Coinone Exchange due to Lack of Trade Volume on: January 20, 2020, 09:17:28 AM
Cosmochain to be Delisted from Coinone Exchange due to Lack of Trade Volume
- 90% of trade volume at Upbit (7% at Coinone)
- Cosmochain now preparing for new listings
- Company announced a profit Q2 last year

https://xangle.io/project/home/COSM/dashboard?link=JiHFIq

[Jan 20, 2020] According to Xangle’s on-chain data, Coinone is responsible for 7% of Cosmochain’s total trade volume, worth around $11K USD at the time of the announcement. Upbit’s trade volume of $147K USD represents 90% of the total trade volume of Cosmochain’s tokens.

Coinone issued a warning about Cosmochain on 29th of November last year, citing lack of trade volume as a risk to investors. Coinone gives projects 2+ weeks to turn things around, and today’s announcement comes following a lack of improvement.

Cosmochain team stated that despite their best efforts to improve the situtiation at Coinone, even airdrops and token swaps did not help turn things around. Cosmochain extended their gratitude to the Coinone team, thanking them for an extended timeline during which the team tried their best.

Meanwhile, Xangle’s data shows that Cosmocoin made a profit of 33,800 USD in the second quarter last year. They are constantly announcing buy-backs and token-burns, with the intention of keeping the price above a certain level.

This kind of action should be applied to all the shit coins around as it will only endanger the money of the investors if they will invest to the coins that have very low volume or no volume at all.

I am not familiar with Cosmocoin and in case your statements are all genuine then it will be best for the team to tighten their marketing plan so this kind of situation will not happen again. And if possible, they should list their coins to big exchanges as most of the investors will not use the exchange that are not so popular.
875  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alternatives Like BTC Becomes Necessary As World Debt Reaches $253 Trillion on: January 20, 2020, 04:16:54 AM
Our debt-ridden world economy continues to stack up more IOUs. According to recent estimates, the global debt is now around $253 trillion or 322% of GDP — a record high that Bitcoin is wagging its finger at.

According to a new report, the world economy is based on more debt than ever before — in fact, total world debt now comes out to over 3x global GDP.

To read the full article, check it right here

If you look at the numbers, it's already record-breaking for world debt.

As Bitcoin continues to be recognized and massively adopted worldwide, I just don't know if it's indeed a genuine alternative because of the record-breaking world debt of $253 trillion.

What would you think about this guys? Do you honestly think Bitcoin is gonna be the best alternative choice in this situation?

I would like to hear more about your reactions or opinion on this one. Cheers!
I cannot say that bitcoin will be the best alternative in this type of situation as there is a little chance that changing fiat to crypto will make the world debt into zero.

But if there is a way to make this happen then I am sure big governments will be the first to act in this matter but as what I saw right now most of the governments are adapting crypto slowly therefore it will still take a few years before we can see whether bitcoin can solve the world debt.
876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To bounty hunters & investors on: January 20, 2020, 12:57:37 AM
For Bounty Hunters
Even if i advice you not to give up on doing researches on every proje ts before promoting them this doesn't mean they wont scam you or waste your precious time BUT still the only question you need to ask is, Are there bounties that pays hunter good rewards this year? YES they are very few and good projects take time, Do not expect good projects every months cos its impossible

For Investors
ICO and STO are no go side, stay away from them because they are almost all red flags, IEO is here for you and all you have to do is go to binance for any new upcoming IEO fund raising, you will get positive results

2019 is not a good year for bounty participants as most of the rewards are not that big and there are very few projects that became successful therefore most of the bounty participants have difficulty in finding the best project to promote.

For investors, IEO became popular last year as ICO and STO were both obsolete already. I can agree that most of the IEO's that were launch in binance dex have a higher success rate compare to other.
877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bought this stuff with Bitcoin, great way for people to become aware of Bitcoin on: January 19, 2020, 01:22:44 PM
If you tell people that you bought stuff in the internet or even in a shop with Bitcoin, people will become aware of Bitcoin, more so if the stuff that you are showing them have value when you bought it with fiat money, what do you think about this?
It's a good way to spread bitcoin to those people that didn't know yet the use and existence of bitcoin. By showing them the stuff that you have bought and telling them that you just bought it using bitcoin, I am pretty sure that they will be curious about it.

And their curiosity will be our ace to make the people become aware about bitcoin and a good way to spread the usage of bitcoin around the globe. It's a small marketing technique but I am sure that it will surely help bitcoin to raise it's demand and price.
878  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we now confirm that he's Faketoshi.? on: January 19, 2020, 11:44:48 AM
He doesnt have the keys but still telling the court that he will receive it in the future date. What kind of an argument is this.? First it was just the announcement, then it was "I will get the courier" and now this.

What else is needed in the court to prove that he is not..?

https://decrypt.co/16998/confirmed-craig-wright-doesnt-have-keys-to-8-billion-of-bitcoin
It's clear as daylight that he is not the genuine satoshi and if he is the real satoshi, doing that stuff is very simple to him like providing all the necessary evidence that he is the real deal.

Having keys of 8 billion btc then reveal it to the court is not a wise decision if he were the real deal. And I just don't like the idea of hiding in the first place then beg to the court that he is the real one. If I were him, I guess he just drop the act and forget his nonsense claim.
879  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What if Ethereum replaces Bitcoin someday? on: January 19, 2020, 05:30:42 AM
Ethereum, being the world's second largest cryptocurrency by market cap, has all the potential of replacing Bitcoin in the future. It's more than just a cryptocurrency, being a platform for the development and execution of smart contracts (aka dApps). With ETH, it's possible to launch alternative cryptocurrencies without the need to start a Blockchain from scratch. It's also possible to use the ETH blockchain for other purposes such as voting, proof of identity, verification of documents, and more. In contrast, Bitcoin's only use is for finance where it cannot be implemented in other areas by its own.

Given all of the benefits Ethereum provides on top of Bitcoin, it makes me wonder whenever it'll be able to replace the pioneer cryptocurrency within the future? As long as, Ethereum keeps progressing in development and mainstream acceptance, it'll be much closer to Bitcoin every step of the way. What are your thoughts? Huh
We will be dependents to the big investors with regards to the future of ethereum as they are the source of demand and once the demand of ethereum will surge then it will surely replace bitcoin.

But right now big  whales are favoring bitcoin so the chances to replace bitcoin in the next five years is very difficult, let's just hope that they will change their mind as soon as possible as I saw also the potential of ethereum.
880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you sure crypto is the future currency? on: January 19, 2020, 03:44:27 AM
I completely agree that crypto will be the currency of the future. Cryptocurrencies are already used all over the world and constantly more and more countries begin to legalize cryptocurrencies and recognize them as official currencies, this is just a matter of time when the whole world will already fully begin to use cryptocurrencies with its full potential.
I certainly agree to it also as the chance that crypto will replace fiat is in the process already, the people are starting to use cashless payments using digital currencies and once the majority of the governments will fully utilize the use of crypto currencies then fiat will surely be replace.

Maybe 10-20 years from now, digital payments will be use widely and the changes will be huge as the technology is keep on advancing also.
