841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins Bounty Hunters are almost alone! on: January 27, 2020, 10:22:10 AM
This is sad but true that altcoin bounty hunters are almost alone in this forum! No one is here to help you to find a better project to promote! But look at BTC paying campaign! If a BTC paying campaign launched, many Hero, Legendary member starts investigating hard! When they find anything suspicious they tag the bounty manager and keep suggesting people to not promote project! Even they can't wait even one week! For example, BestChange launched Signature and Social Campaign, I got accepted in Social and received payment, but many high ranked people tagged the manager because he did not go through Escrow! They did not give them even one week. Though Bestcahnge got a couple of red trust because of suspicious activities, I have no problem with that!

But look at the altcoin section, no one is here to support you to find a better project, everyone keeps suggesting research yourself, even if your well researched successful project not paying you, still they won't support you! So, from yesterday, I started thinking that Altcoin bounty hunters are very alone! Some guy is working to catch scammers but no one is here to suggest you a better project!
From the start if we like to survive in the crypto world we need to be independent and become resourceful as crypto world is not that kind to all the people who don't have enough skills and knowledge to find the better project to support.

It's not easy to waste our time and effort if we will end up joining the shit projects out there and I understand your situation but we have no choice but to be independent if we like to gain a good amount of profit in crypto world.
842  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: January end , can BTCtouch 9k? on: January 27, 2020, 09:45:48 AM
as we see trend in last 2-3 days, all markets were positive, prices increased from 10%-300% in 48 hours.
Now the trend is going down. what you guys think? January end BTC can touch 9k usd?
Right now bitcoin is at 8600 usd so there is a big chance that we can still hit the 9k at the end of the month as we still have 4 days and the market is likely to become green in the following days.

But everything can happen so let's just prepare whatever happen in the following days so we will not regret any decision that we like to do either we sell, buy or hold our investments.
843  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Localbitcoins bans whole countries on: January 27, 2020, 01:41:10 AM
Customers residing or otherwise located in the following countries are required to have an enhanced due diligence process. The countries are defined by EU commission: Afghanistan, American Samoa, The Bahamas, Botswana, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Guam, Iraq, Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Panama, Puerto Rico, Samoa, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Syria, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, US Virgin Islands, Yemen. The process to activate the account will be introduced in the near future. If you’re not willing to wait for your account to be activated, you can withdraw your bitcoins by deleting your account.

They've frozen thousands of accounts. Twitter is in meltdown over it:

https://twitter.com/search?q=localbitcoins&src=typd

It's not whole countries as there are still plenty of countries that are not listed with the bans but this move is quite fishy as there will be plenty of users that will be affected by this banned.

Plenty users equals huge amount of money that will be freeze or can't be recovered anymore by this move so it is a big scandal if in case plenty of users can't get their money even after submitting all the required documents to unfreeze their accounts. This is the problem with the centralized exchange as we will not know when they are going to make this kind of move that will likely endanger our money therefore it will be best if we will not put a huge amount of money in any centralized exchange to avoid this kind of scenario.
844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Same order in Buy and Sell order book - Explain please? on: January 26, 2020, 08:11:43 AM
Can someone please help me understand what's going on in this order book? This is a screenshot of the XRP/USDT order book from Poloniex today. I have often noticed that there is a sell order and a buy order of almost the same size (usually quite large) and I think it is the same person doing it (either manually or using a bot)

This likely happened if someone is using a tool while trading but there are instances also that it was traded manually by the same person like it is his/her favorite number for trading.

I can say that it is only normal and there are no problem with the exchange. Trading is somewhat profitable if you really know what you are doing and many are doing this in order to obtain a better ROI so there is a big chance that it is one of their trading technique only.

845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Crypto Vs Corona Virus on: January 26, 2020, 06:10:52 AM
Today is a big celebration day of the Chinese New Year, but on the other hand China is being hit by an epidemic that is the corona virus. So the Chinese government recommends that Chinese citizens do not travel on holidays and they close some tourism facilities to the public.
Even in Japan reportedly there are some shops that do not allow tourists from China to not visit their stores.
From this incident, will this affect the economy of China, especially China and the global crypto world?
https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/global-markets-swoon-as-lethal-virus-in-china-spreads/2020/01/23/a2223898-3dff-11ea-8872-5df698785a4e_story.html
Of course it can affect the economy of China especially their tourism as many will be afraid to visit China at a te like these but with regards to crypto currencies, there is a little chance that it will make a great effect to crypto especially the market prices.

Other countries are only doing their best not to be affected by the virus as our country also is doing the same especially that the virus spreads pretty fast and there is no cure for it as of the moment. But the two are separate entities that will not likely affect each other, the Corona virus and the crypto currencies.
846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sigh... Do i need to hold and sell it later or now? Quite tricky situation. on: January 26, 2020, 05:06:37 AM

I am holding about 1.2 BTC now

But I need a money until Feb 22nd.

Should i hold until Feb 21nd and sell it? or Sell it now?!!

What do you guys anticipate in BTC price until next month?
Wait until you will be needing the money as base on the price movement there is a big chance that the price will still grow in the following days.

But the decision still yours, if you are already satisfied with the current price then you can sell it now and withdraw it so you don't have to worry anymore about the incoming price of bitcoin as no one can really predict the market price. What is sure is that, the price will surely goes down or up.
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [2020-01-25]Japan to begin its own national cryptocurrency on: January 26, 2020, 04:27:06 AM
Following the announcement by China to launch its digital yuan, Japan is also planning to start its own cryptocurrency, a new report states.

China started planning its digital Yuan project known as the DCEP (digital currency electronic payment) after Facebook announced its intentions to release Libra.

At the moment, China is close to releasing a digital version of Yuan and Japan is following this step.

Lawmakers of the ruling party in Japan are planning on presenting a proposal that Japan should have its own central bank digital currency (CBDC), a digital version of the yen.

According to Norihiro Nakayama, the parliamentary vice minister of foreign affairs in Japan, they will first look into the idea of sending out a digital yen.

And now the start of crypto era virus is starting to spread one by one in different governments, first the China and now Japan will follow the lead of China in creating it's own currency.

With this move many will become aware of crypto existence and it will surely bring a positive response to the crypto society as their curiosity to crypto will surely bring them to bitcoin and other altcoins out there and not only to their own crypto currencies. If Japan will not banned the use of other currencies aside from their currencies then it will favor to us.
848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Need to Reconsider Holding altcoins on: January 26, 2020, 01:36:40 AM
The altcoin markets has been favorable to few but not all. it is presumed that the early and private investors rake out big cash on New and old altcoin projects leaving many projects at the mercy of the cryptomarkets for survived.  Although Most altcoins that has gone down below ROI to the verge of disappearing from the market are increasing daily.
One of the ideology we all know about the cryptocurrency is the knowledge of Holding back some altcoins we believed that will do well in the long run. it is an interesting thing to NOTE that these TWO Altcoins made me have a strong feeling that cryptocurrency can be a fortune if you are lucky to invest on it

BLOCKV
 https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/blockv/

and
THORECOIN
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/thorecoin/

A closer look on these two altcoins will make you have a rethink about holding some altcoins, what to hold and Not to sell off everything if you have to sell. Both token raised from zero usd to a high price. even contesting with the top 100 coins on CMC. i am sure there are other altcoins that made this moves in the market but it's quite unfortunate that few people are holding such while some has sold off.

So, before you make that decision of selling off everything that you have in wallet because the market is down and out. please reconsider before you regret your moves. you might be holding a token that worth millions in the next 2 years.
They can be considered if the market is in good condition but right now the market is not good enough yet therefore many of the investors are playing safe as they only consider investing in top 10 so the risk of their investment is not that high.

The two altcoins are ranking 200+ and 500+ in coinmarketcap therefore the risk of these two altcoins in this season of the market is pretty high compared to other coins that were favored by the big investors like bitcoin, ethereum and etc.
849  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Crypto Should I Invest In 2020 ? on: January 25, 2020, 03:26:30 PM
I Am Really More Interested In Buying XLM , TRX AND ETH This Year Because I See More Potential On Dapps . So the increase in rate of this crypto is really easy. But As All Know anything can happen In Crypto. So I Was thinking to share this so that i get better opinion on this topic and please do comment where should i invest and Why?
There is no problem with your current choice as most of them have the potential to multiply it's price once the market will start it's bull run.

But I suggest that you put a bigger percentage in eth to your investment to lessen the risk of your investment. Like you can put 50% of your investment to eth and the remaining will get 25% both. But if you like, you can also put some investment to Bitcoin as the big whales are favoring it over altcoins.
850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can the price of Altcoin be good by the end of 2020? on: January 25, 2020, 05:33:00 AM
Now the price of Altcoin is medium. If you look at it now, many people are involved with cryptocurrency. Altcoin prices may also be good in 2020 as cryptocurrency is allowed in many countries. If cryptocurrency goes legal around the world, the price of Altcoin may go up. Is it true?
Of course it is true that altcoins price will goes up once the crypto currencies will be legal around the world. We are talking about a very huge number of audience and if they purchase even a small amount of altcoins the demand will surely goes up and the same with it's price.

But if we will be talking about the end of 2020, the percentage is like 60/40, 60% chance that the market will shift to bull and crypto prices will goes up and 40% chance that there will be a little movement of the market that we can't still call a bull run and the price of crypto currencies will remain in the middle.
851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it still possible to invent certain Altcoin that can be better than Bitcoin? on: January 25, 2020, 04:32:42 AM

As the subject goes, can we expect the newly developed Altcoin that can go beyond Bitcoin?
If you really mean to surpass Bitcoin as a whole then there is still a possibility to do it as we are living in an open source platform with a freedom to use whatever we like to create. As the technology will continue to modernize then I am sure time will come that it will happen.

But right now, Bitcoin is still the king and it will be difficult to replace it's current place as of now knowing that big whales are in favor of Bitcoin investment rather than in altcoins.
852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance price prediction for 2020 on: January 24, 2020, 11:25:03 AM
According to WalletInvestor website, BNB is expected to rise 85% in 2020. The price will reach $24.1 by the end of this year.

TradingBeasts believes binance price will have a slow growth. The price will reach only upto $19.

CryptoGround, however, believes that BNB will decrease down to $6.4202.

Do you agree?
This year is likely a bull run so I agree that binance price will reach to more than 20$ by the end of this year or even more if the market will continue to shift from bear to bull.

Still the price will always depends on the demand, if binance will continue to strengthen their marketing while giving a satisfactory service to their customers then there is no hinder for binance to not grow in price as the demand will surely grow.
853  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Exchanges that Don't Charge Listing Fees? on: January 24, 2020, 06:16:02 AM
The process of launching a new cryptocurrency is quite a tedious one. After all, the developer (or development team) would need to make sure that the new cryptocurrency is listed on an exchange to provide liquidity for the same. Considering that centralized exchanges have dominated the space for quite some time, they've been the "go-to" route between the worlds of Fiat and crypto. I've seen many centralized exchanges these days which charge exorbitant fees for listing a coin. That's not the case with decentralized exchanges today. But they lack liquidity and provide an unfriendly experience to the end-user.

Which is why, most developers are left with no other choice but to list their coin on a centralized exchange like Binance or Bittrex. I've heard of a few centralized exchanges that are able to list a new coin if it gets an specific number of votes from the community (like Mercatox is doing right now). But I'm wondering if there are crypto exchanges out there that are able to list your coin for free without the need to obtain "x" amount of votes for listing?

If you happen to know of any crypto exchange that does this, please let me know. It could turn out to be a great start for any new cryptocurrency project which lacks funding to get listed on a serious exchange. Else, people would only be able to trade their coin of choice in a P2P manner. Any recommendations or suggestions will be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley
Centralized exchange only profit in withdrawal fees, trading fees and in listing fee so if they will offer a free listing their profit will only depend in the two remaining and do you think big exchanges can continue their operation using only the withdrawal and trading fees?

Exchanges have plenty of expenses like making sure that their security is up to date, they have the latest marketing techniques, hosting fees and etc. And if in case there with be a centralized exchange that will offer a free listing fee then I am pretty sure that their service are not satisfactory especially in making their exchange secure to hacks and etc.
854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: January 24, 2020, 03:53:43 AM
Aside from monetary incentives in crypto, I rarely come across discussions pertaining to why the average enthusiast in crypto is involved with crypto. While the answer may be pretty straightforward, there are some outliers.

Crypto means much more than just monetary incentives, it's essentially a technical revolution that has involved the masses, something you and I can be apart of. Ultimately, that's probably one of my greatest interests for blockchain and crypto. Another big intrigue for me is the evolution of blockchain tech in itself. I've been around for quite sometime and have witnessed the evolution of cryptos, businesses, behaviors and attitudes.

These 2 factors, along with several others, are the reasons I continue to be involved on a community and business level with crypto. It's become a hobby, passion and business for me.
Aside from monetary reasons, I became involved with crypto as my past time while learning how blockchain works and behave. My curiosity about crypto currencies makes me involve deeply also, as at first I really have no idea on what is crypto currencies is and how it can help the society.

As I become more familiar with crypto, I started to realize that blockchain is very amazing as it can be use in many ways and it gives us a freedom unlike banking that we have no freedom at all. We can use crypto currencies freely without being tax that's how I became a lover of crypto currencies as it also gives me happiness as I continue to use it.
855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying real estate with Bitcoin on: January 24, 2020, 02:30:57 AM
With the increased adoption of Bitcoin among mainstream businesses and companies alike, we've seen the possibility of exchanging our Bitcoin to tangible assets for our own benefit. The pioneer cryptocurrency has reached far enough to become recognized as a legitimate form of payment within the mainstream world. Institutional investors, and even banks have realized the benefits of Bitcoin, resulting in increased demand across the market. I've seen forex trading with Bitcoin, and even precious metal retailers which accept Bitcoin as payment.

This makes wonder whenever it's possible to buy real estate with Bitcoin? Because if it does, then there would be nothing left for Bitcoin to become used as a serious cryptocurrency for daily payments (other than scaling the Blockchain and increasing privacy). Do you think that mainstream companies or businesses will be able to accept Bitcoin for real estate? Or it is too early to tell? Any thoughts? Huh
If some will gamble the vulnerability of bitcoin price then the possibility is there and we cannot say that no one is willing to take the risk especially if they saw a great potential in accepting payments via bitcoin.

I haven't heard so far that someone buys a real estate via bitcoin but what I heard is someone is willing to sell his house via bitcoin payment. So the chances that it will happen in the future is very high as the adoption of crypto currencies especially the bitcoin is getting stronger and wider. Let's just wait if when it will reach the real estate acceptance.
856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pornhub Adds Tether Stablecoin as New Crypto Payment Option on: January 24, 2020, 12:59:21 AM
Pornhub, an adult entertainment site is now supporting Tether (USDT) payment option as PayPal stopped servicing its model last 2019.

The Tron CEO Justin Sun said that it's a good way to support victims of centralized payment platforms like PayPal.

Source:https://cointelegraph.com/news/pornhub-adds-tether-stablecoin-as-new-crypto-payment-option

We're old enough to understand that this won't bring a negative image to cryptocurrency. In fact, this is actually a great news for us. Bigger companies like pornhub that is open for crypto payments in their business is a way for adoption that we're looking for. If this becomes successful just like how PayPal works before, then we can expect other companies will also try the crypto payment option. What do you think?
This move will surely favor the crypto community as Pornhub is one of the biggest company out there and their users will surely use crypto payments. Meaning the demand and the users of crypto will be widen because of this scenario.

And there is a big chance also that other big companies will follow the this move so we can consider it as a big advertisement for crypto to spread further to the big company owners out there.
857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: As expected THE LIAR, CLOWN 'John McAfee' backs down from $1M claim on: January 23, 2020, 02:17:13 PM
If you know 'John McAfee' you probably know that he is a big liar!  Once again, he proves it and proves it big time!

He said time and time again in different interviews that, if BTC price doesn't get $1M by end of 2020, he will eat his D|ck live on tv. He explained time and time again as to why BTC will go to $1M.

But as expected from a liar, he is now backing down from his claim. His tweet:

"Eat my dick in 12 months?

A ruse to onboard new users. It worked.

Bitcoin was first. It's an ancient technology.  All know it.

Newer blockchains have privacy, smart contracts, distributed apps and more.

Bitcoin is our future?

Was the Model T the future of the automobile?"

He's prediction is a little bit too far from reality that is why he has no other option but to back out from his words as there is no hope for him that Bitcoin will reach to that price by the end of this year.

Eating his d!ck while being broadcasted in TV is not an easy option for him especially that he will surely do it if he will not back out from his words. If he just did it to hype the price, I guess he again make a bad decision to call Bitcoin as an ancient technology as he knows to his self that Bitcoin has a future.

Learning how to create crypto currencies is very useful as we can use it to earn some profit by providing a good service to the potential customers. But not everyone has the potential to learn this skill as you need some tech knowledge in order to fully develop your skills in this area.

Your tutorial is very useful and I will surely follow and subscribe your channel if I can get a better understanding on how to create those crypto currencies. I am not that knowledgeable in crypto development so I hope that I can at least create my first coin after your tutorial.
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Gonna sell my stock assets and invest in these top currencies. Suggestions? on: January 23, 2020, 07:35:16 AM
Hello all,

I am new to crypto currency market as I was before in shares and stock market. I have basic knowledge of cryptocurrencies like how supply, demand and history of famous coins. I am looking to invest in 2-3 cryptocurrencies. My investment: $200-$500. I would like to invest little amount in starting, afterwards I will increase my investments.

Well, I select the following coins:

Bitcoin : because it is no.1
Ethereum: this crypto is down these days, but I have got a news that ethereum 2.0 will roll out this year. So, I hope that this crypto currency price will go up.
Binance: because of stability

And eos if possible

I would like to know your suggestions before taking the steps.

Thanks
As starter investor in crypto currencies, your choices are pretty good and you almost in good timing as there is a big chance that the market will shift this year from bear to bull. In which your investment will surely multiply once the bull run will start to happen.

It will be best also if you will start buying your investment this coming January 25 as there is a big chance that those coins that you have mentioned will goes down a little bit.
860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WINNING THE GAME AGAINST BAD PROJECTS on: January 23, 2020, 06:12:36 AM
Hello guys, having been here for a while now, I feel that having a higher percentage of your portfolio on bitcoin and maybe the rest 30 or 35% on already good and established altcoins like ETH, BCH, Stellar, brave. BNB, Vchain, etc, is a good way of staying away from useless projects. I have come to an understanding that running after new promising projects always leave you heartbroken in 97times, and running after IEO to quickly make up for past losses lead to more havoc on your fund. So stick to the safe zone.
Not all will go to this kind of technique as I know that you already that the more riskier your investment is the bigger ROI you will get and most of the investors that have the gut to gamble in this kind of investment will surely oppose your opinion.

But for the newbies or those people who don't know how to dig some good projects then it will be best that you should follow what OP has said so you can avoid in being a victim to those bad projects out there.
