681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not Just for Online but also IRL Gambling on: March 05, 2020, 06:27:33 AM
Have you ever played on a game were it is totally a scam without realizing it? I just seen a facebook post in which there are several games that doesn't let you win even though how many times you try and you'll just feel like giving up then they will tell you that you won or let you win ... but without realizing, it was just a tactic/s to have you play until you burn your eyelids and money to that game.

This applies on both Gambling Online/IRL, So tell me have you ever seen one of these games and you'll just realize it after the game or watching other people play that certain game?

I haven't experience this kind of scenario but I experience some gambling sites where we have a very low chances of winning and most of them are online gambling like dice game and etc.

I am very careful in what gambling sites that I enter therefore I always double check or triple check the sites before I joined so I can avoid those scam sites that you are talking about in which they make sure that they will win 90-100%. If you will closely check all the gambling sites, they have tactics on how they can win the odds against the better or gamblers, so I am not that surprised if many are losing their bet compare to their winnings.
682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would You Rent A Car With Bitcoin? on: March 05, 2020, 04:46:07 AM
Hi guys, I'm working in the travel industry and recently found some global online travel agencies such as EasyRentCars start getting into crypto payments. I wonder how many crypto owners would be more interesting to purchase the service if the company accepts cryptocurrency? Would that be an effective feature?
If it will be possible in our area why not but I prefer using other currencies rather than bitcoin as I am concerned with the transaction fees because bitcoin is not that good to use in small payment compare to eth or xrp and etc.

This feature will be effective if the area have plenty of crypto users but if there are very few then it is not that effective. Crypto is very easy and simple to use therefore many will surely use a service that accepts this payment options if it is available in their area and I am one of them if in case there will be services here in our country that accepts crypto currencies as payment not only in car rents.
683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Managers and Shit projects on: March 05, 2020, 03:37:23 AM
It's no more news that many of us would have had some horrible experiences participating in some resources wasting projects. However, my opinion is that, do bounty managers just accept hook line and sinker to manage bounty campaigns for any project without taking some time to look at the prospects of such project?

I think there should be some experienced members of this forum apart from moderators (because moderators' works might be too enormous) that should be in charge of reviewing projects before bounty managers are allowed to create bounty and/or announcement threads for such projects.  If this can be done effectively, I think the advent of these unworthy projects can be mitigated.

To wrap it up, a bounty manager once told me when I called his attention to some unrealistic plans of the project he was managing, he said he is not concerned about the success of the project, once he gets his weekly payment from the team. I want to know if there are some levels of punishment for bounty managers that manage unworthy projects apart from negative trust?
The idea is pretty good but being a bounty manager is not easy especially in checking whether the background of the project that you are going to launch is trustworthy or not while not hurting the project owner. Bounty manager works because they are paid for their works, meaning they are not affiliated with the project team so they didn't care whether the project will succeed or not as long as they will be paid by their works.

It is good and in the same time it will hurt the community of bounty hunters. But as a bounty hunter, we should also consider different aspects before we will force any bounty manager to triple check the credibility of any project that they are going to launch because if they will be more strict about it then their customers or project owners will just transfer to other bounty manager in which they are losing their job for the sake of the bounty hunters.

So the responsibility will lie to us as a bounty hunter, we should support only the project that we think have the potential and discard all those shit projects.
684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think, India lifting the ban on cryptocurrencies will impact BTC Price? on: March 04, 2020, 09:03:46 AM
We think this is huge for the crypto world looking at the current BTC price graph.

Comment below your opinions.
The effect will depend on how big is the demand in India because demand will dictate whether it can impact the bitcoin price or not. Let's say that there are plenty of users in India but the investors are only few then it cannot affect that much to bitcoin price.

But if the demand in India is kind big then it can surely impact the bitcoin price in case the government of India will lift the ban on crypto currencies. It will be a good news also to the crypto lover if in case India will lift it's ban to crypto currencies.
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Asking Investment advice? on: March 04, 2020, 07:38:15 AM
A common frequently asked question seen in crypto is:

How to invest my money?
Which is best coin to buy now?
Which project will give us a good return in certain time frame?

According to my thoughts The best advisor for you is yourself. Here is nobody want to do some researcher for himself and always listening others, no doubt many experience persons are here around you and may be some one advice you with a good tip, but this is not a permanent solution to make you good trader or investor.

I think You should first learn about how this market works, Which type of project successfully stable in every type of market sentiments.

How to Find best Projects:
Always make a list of coins and then the things matters are Team capabilities , Project Social updats, How much engaged with community, Are they executing according Roadmap, Available Exchanges, Use case for future, Partnerships.

Investment plan:
Suppose you shortlist 3-5 project then next step is investment methodology. Always start with 25% of your available amount and steadily increase this percentage but never invest in one coin or one go. You should have already a plane in your mind for take profit. Never be greedy, sell your coins what you was planned. Always consider Stop Loss mechanism and never long your loss if your coin not responding according your expectations.

Here is a few basic points for beginners or have less experienced. Hope if you adopt these tips you will survive from big losses.
You are right about it but if the newbies will come to me and will ask me what is the best currency to invest their money then my answer will be very simple. I will just refer then to the safest investment currency that are on top 5 in coinmarketcap so they can just skip the research especially that they are still a newbie.

And if they like a high ROI then they will start to do their own research like how they can join the genuine project but they should also consider that high ROI has a high risk also therefore this kind of investment are only good to those people who have the deepest knowledge about crypto or ICO's.
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am fed up with scammers and newbies. on: March 04, 2020, 04:58:45 AM
Last week, I found an airdrop project in Telegram called Marco Protocol, the airdrop looked decent at the first stage, I earned 200 MAPC tokens and that was instant! But you only can withdraw from your MAP wallet when Airdrop program will end, that's good, I am okay with it. Their airdrop tweet got 8K retweet and 9K likes, so, you can understand how hype it had!
But yesterday, they announced they are going to sell Bitcoin at a 50% discount to celebrate the halving. Can you imagine? 1 Bitcoin price is 8600 USD, people can buy by 4300$! I believe This is absolutely scam but many newbies already have fallen for that! As they saw MAPC has huge support in twitter, and they listed on CMC too.

50% off announcement: https://t.me/MAP_POB_channel/87
This is the disadvantage of airdrop, the scammer can easily create a project and hype it via airdrop then after that they will proceed to their plan like the one you have stated that they have 50% discount to celebrate the incoming halving.

Newbies who are greedy will likely to fall to this kind of scheme especially if they have the money to buy as they are thinking that they can earn a huge amount of profit in this situation. But what they don't know is that they are being played by the scammers and their hard earned money is in danger. There are no easy way to tell the newbies that they should avoid it as we cannot control their decision, so let's just hope that those people who fall to the hand of the scammers will learned their lessons and they will avoid any type of scam attempt in the future.
687  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency can not replace fiat currency. on: March 04, 2020, 04:04:39 AM
I have seen so many posts about emerging cryptocurrency, and they think that someday it will take over our current system, or it will replace our fiat currency, which is really impossible, yes cryptocurrency is such an excellent currency especially the bitcoin, cryptocurrency keeps on being more prominent and more significant. Still, I think it is not enough to replace the fiat currency. It will be hard for the government to do that.

It will be hard for us if we use our cryptocurrency as our standard currency, the volatile currency will not be useful in real life; only that money is only suitable in real life. Not all individuals are really used in technology, so how could they handle their money if they are not familiar with the technology.

There are still some rural places in this world, so it will be hard for them to adopt the new system if this will be implemented in the future, which I hope won't happen, and even those person in provinces will also get mad if those things happen.
I fully understand your point, yes the current government is not yet ready to implement digital assets as a main currency right now because there are still plenty of hurdles that needs to address like those places where electricity is not present or those places that don't have the technology in order to transact the digital payment.

But our society is keep on improving as days passes by so there is a big chance that in the future these problem will be address and digital payment will replace the old fiat system. The possibilities is very wide so we cannot close the door for crypto or digital asset to replace the fiat system and I believe that it will happen in the future.
688  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin halving make cryptocurrencies reach all time high again? on: March 04, 2020, 03:16:31 AM
There are times I will sit down and think about bitcoin halving and when cryptocurrencies  will reach new all time high. The last time it happened was in 2017 for strong cryptocurrencies like bitcoin.

There are only 21 million btc to be mined. And, only  18,236,512 btc has been mined. Only 2,763,488 btc remaining.

I am just thinking that with the little remaining bitcoin, can the effect make the price of cryptocurrencies  to reach new all time high. It sounds impossible to me but I know that the price will increase but may not reach new all time high.

So, something not seen yet can be the reason why cryptocurrencies  can reach new all time high such as people anticipation. Like I am anticipating, I have invest in 0.4 btc. Some people will also do as I did.

The second thing that can cause it is the increase in the price. Some people that know how to analyze crypto market will still see that the price will increase and therefore invest and make the price to continue to increase.

The third thing I believe can make the price to increase are fomo people. They will see everyone investing and they will also invest for not to miss the great benefit.

This is what I think about cryptocurrencies  this year and next year because this process will extend to next year as I analyzed it. You people can also make contributions to know if we should invest more on cryptocurrencies  this year.

There are only two possibilities that will happen after the bitcoin halving. One will be the bitcoin price will continue to increase and we can reach a new ATH record this year because the hype has been started already.

And the one will be the bitcoin price will drop and we cannot reach a new ATH record this year, this scenario will happen if the hype is not enough to push the bitcoin price upward after the halving of bitcoin. Though these scenarios can be track easily in the following months, if the market will start to climb up again then there is a big possibility that we can push the bitcoin price upward after the halving.
689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrities advertise scam ICO again on: March 04, 2020, 02:34:28 AM
SEC fined Steven Seagal for advertising ICO. The actor did not disclose information about the funds received for the promotion of the project, which could mislead investors, the Commission explained.

Since the ICO, the price of the Bitcoiin2Gen token advertised by Segal has fallen by 99%.

do you think celebrities know that they advertise scam projects or they just don’t understand what they are doing? I think this is a big problem for the market

Most of the celebrities have no deep knowledge about crypto currencies especially in terms of ICO so there is a big chance that Seagal just accepted the offer because of money. Though he is now facing a charges against him as he didn't check first whether his action is good or bad.

Because if he know that he will end up facing some problems after the advertisement then I am sure that he or his management will think twice before they will accept the offer to advertise a certain ICO. Let's just hope that it will serve as an example to other celebrities so they will not accept any offer easily especially in terms of ICO advertisement.
690  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How is it possible there are altcoins costing more than BTC? on: March 04, 2020, 01:51:38 AM
Recently I stumbled across some unknown altcoin called 42-coin which is selling at more than $20000 on coinmarketcap. This makes it twice as valuable as bitcoin, and here I use the word "valuable" specifically referring to selling price. Then there are other altcoins like Wrapped Bitcoin and RSK Smart Bitcoin that are nearly as valuable as BTC.

Here is the list of top 10 coins sorted by price. As you can see the list is dominated by weird altcoins:

I get that coinmarketcap is notorious for listing fake trading volumes, but how these coins became valuable while having practically no market cap is dumbfounding.
If you will check closely the graph, the main reason why that two currencies came on top is their circulating supply is very little and these are the other techniques of other projects also to increase their price.

Other projects are keep on burning their extra tokens or even buy again then burn it in order to lessen their circulating supply. The less the supply is the higher the price especially if the demand will also increase. And check also their market capital, they are very far from bitcoin and their only advantage is the price of their currency which is very high and the rest are stumbling.
691  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Cryptotalk is racist on: March 04, 2020, 01:23:26 AM
This forum is RACIST staring today they not paying posters coming from
Nigeria, Pakistan, India or Indonesia Egypt and Venezuela, they should have treated every poster individually and not based on their nationality
I'm not from any of those countries but I feel this is a Racist move and should not be taken lightly

I have a member account here  but definitely not going to go back on this forum because of this issue

I hate RACIST

Quote

Correction the ID could be Indonesia or India I have to clarify that I just got it from one posts coming from one member

I didn't bother to check it also as the forum members keep on growing, this will surely happen in the future either they will stop the payment or they will lower the number of members that they are going to pay. Upon checking, the forum is running for how many months already and this is the only time that they do this because their users have skyrocketed and it will be a burden for them to pay them all.

Paying like 5-10 btc a day will surely make them bankrupt if they will not stop or reduce the users, I cannot blame you also if you will consider them as a racist but I am 100% sure that they are not racist instead they are almost out of balance to pay for their users.
692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does it have volume ? on: March 04, 2020, 12:10:35 AM
Sometimes, as a trader or an investor. you wonder why you miss out on tokens that does 400-6000 % increase.

You will also wonder how it missed your grasp, but do you bother to check if it has volume ?
Do you bother to check if it has buyers ? Do you further find out, if it a true pump ?

Be patient, and figure out your research functions well.

I hope i was able to present my views. do correct and suggest further opinions too
There are many cases like these that were being pump only by exchanges especially those shit exchanges like p2pb2b that you wonder how the price of a certain tokens/coins just skyrocket but you cannot see any buyers or if there are buyers as a seller you cannot sell your asset.

These are the scenario that I experienced to that exchange so for those tokens that increase so much like 400-6000%, we should be careful in checking whether it is genuinely increasing it's demand or it is being hype only or worst a fake volume by a certain shit exchange. Scammers have plenty of tricks right now and they are also evolving so as an investor or trader we need to be vigilant in every move that we will make so we can avoid those traps that were being set by the scammers.

But for other top currencies, then they genuinely grow their demand and they increase their prices from 400-6000% but it take a lot of time for them to obtain it like bitcoin, ethereum, xrp and etc.
693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BOUNTY PAYMENT MATTERS on: March 03, 2020, 08:00:07 AM
Will it be wise if this forum put up a request that ALL NEW PROJECTS EXPECTING TO RUN BOUNTIES SHOULD PAY A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF FUNDS BEFORE CONDUCTING ANY BOUNTY OR run an ESCROW.
The fund will be use to settle hunters should incase project owners Refuse to pay hunters Or decides to play tricks with hunters payment after a successful bounty campaign. For over a long period, hunters has been crying and wailing about successful campaigns that has refused to make payment. there are new campaigns on-going and more projects will run bounty campaigns sooner or later. the issue of payment is still a lingering problem here with No solid profound solution. Apart from the fact that some projects has the ANN Thread labelled as SCAMS, it is still do not offer solutions to payments.

the idea above is just a suggestion.. we all hope that a perfect solution will solve this issue of projects refusing to settle hunters here and will promote this platform.
Crypto society is a free society where everyone is not limited to do whatever they likes whether they are a genuine project owner or just a shit scammers. But your suggestion is not a bad idea for the forum moderators to consider in the future but it will take a time and effort for the individuals to do the job.

But if the forum will assign this task to the bounty managers before they launch any campaign then it will be good. I already saw some of the bounty managers are doing it like they escrow the funds of the bounty campaign but there are very few of them that are doing this job so if the mods will require this then we can lessen the chances that the bounty hunters will not be paid for their work.
694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin declined 3% as the coronavirus spread in italy on: March 03, 2020, 07:35:45 AM

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-traditional-markets-drop-3-as-coronavirus-spreads-in-italy

As the coronavirus spread in Italy recently, bitcoin market has dropped 3% and also the traditional market including all the top ranked cryptocurrencies. Can coronavirus spreading be the cause?

I am very interested whether this coronavirus outbreak will really cause a bad effect to the crypto market or it is only an imagination to the investors who are worried in every dip of prices. There is a big possibility that it is only a coincidence as if you will closely check the market, in every increase of price there is always a setback of it before it will continue to increase again.

The outbreak has been spreading already in different countries and not in Italy only so let's just remove the this reason why the bitcoin declined it's price.
695  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can you guys identify Whale move? on: March 03, 2020, 06:08:31 AM

As i am looking at bitcoin chart now, BTC price just soared little bit in a short time.

It happened because of whale's move or not.

Btw, can anybody identify whale's move? If there is a way to see it, is there a tip for it?

And has anyone experienced BISPEX exchange known as its insurance funding?

Thx!
It is pretty difficult to identify the whales move but if you will just follow the market closely without thinking any negative then you can have a useful information as your basis to check if it was being done by whales or just a trespassing traders that wants to play with the market.

As what I observed, most of the whales are holding their assets for a long term one and they have people to spread a lot of hype in order to boost the market condition. Aside from it, I didn't experience yet any big whales that are playing with the market condition like the big whales are trading daily or weekly. But as what I observed with the market, it is within it's normal condition as the dip is not that big and not that long also.
696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can porn sites make bitcoin more popular or will it brings negative effects? on: March 03, 2020, 05:41:03 AM
As we all know, porn sites are at the top which are frequently visited by people in the internet world. So in my opinion if a porn site accepts
payments with bitcoin it will make bitcoin more popular and used by many people.Because transactions on porn sites we need privacy and
bitcoin can provide a solution. But on the other hand we have to admit porn sites can make the image worse in the eyes of some people.
So in your opinion, if a porn site accepts payments with bitcoin can make bitcoin more popular or will it be dangerous for the future of bitcoin
because it brings negative effects?

It will surely help the bitcoin to move forward as the user will continue to grow especially if big companies will accept bitcoin as a means of payment even if it is a porn company. That is the good side of it and the bad side will be the critics will use this opportunity to create another fuds on how dangerous the bitcoin is.

Right now, the users and the investors were divided into two. The one side is they fully accept bitcoin as a good way to send and accept payment and the other side is that bitcoin is a dangerous currency that will likely to be use illegally. We can't still predict whether the good side will prevail if in case bitcoin will be accepted by big porn sites or the the negative side will prevail.
697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ways in which you can promote bitcoin. on: March 03, 2020, 05:24:34 AM
There are many ways to promote bitcoin. You can watch this video (https://youtu.be/qzwf1AQxqM0) of mine to learn more on several ways in which you can contribute to the promotion of bitcoin. I hope the video is helpful because making it was like building Rome (Rome was not built in a day).😁😁
I'll be very grateful if you can list more ways so we all can have something we can do to support the growth of bitcoin. Thanks a lot for promoting bitcoin. Yea, that reminds me; you can make bitcoin arts too and publicise them.
Well it will be helpful if you will just leave your ideas here so we don't need to waste our time clicking and watching videos. But as a crypto lover, here are the useful promotion that I use in order to promote bitcoin.

I just told my friends on what are the benefits of bitcoin and how they can earn a free money by just using their cellphone and free time. Aside from it, I also post a useful topic in our local forums on how the bitcoin can help you as your extra earning using your free time. Though my promotion is not that huge but I am sure that it will surely help the bitcoin someday especially if my friends will also tell their friends about the benefit of bitcoin then the process will just repeat until it will reach to countless numbers of bitcoin users.
698  Other / Meta / Re: Can you create a signature campaign for OP posts? on: March 03, 2020, 05:06:18 AM
What I mean is, can you have a sig campaign that asks participants to create threads instead of just posts on threads?
Spam will happen if this will be implemented or will be approved by the mods. Signature campaign is a unique way to market your project in the forum but if you like to have a lot of threads that talks about your project then blog/youtube campaign is the best answer to it and not a signature campaign. There are different types of marketing so it will be best if you will just adjust your marketing plans especially if the one that you are thinking is against the forum rules.

As I am pretty sure that the moderators will not allow this kind of campaign even in the future as it will surely create a lot of spam threads and a spam post from the participants.
699  Economy / Speculation / Re: WHEN we should sell BTC after halving as a LONG-TERM invest? on: March 03, 2020, 04:49:34 AM
most people believe that after halving btc price will go up to near 20k but most important question is WHEN and whats that road looks like. imagine  after btc go to 16k or 17k so many people will sell btc in that price so  price will dump unless Whales of btc push buy in markets . in the other hand we have so many good fundamental for growing btc price and developing blockchains all around the world.
the main question also remains that which price is best to sell btc after halving!

If you are investing especially in a long term one, selling in the right time is your best ace in order to obtain a great profit but the big question that lies in your mind right now is when?

Here is the best solution for your question. First before you buy it will be best if you have idea what will be the market condition in the following months or years then you need to set a selling price so you will dispose your investment after it will hit your selling option.

Because if you will just listen to all the predictions and fuds that are spreading everywhere then you will be left hanging while waiting for that amount. Prediction is not appropriate and you also knows that if you are an investor. So if I were you, just play safe and create a target selling price that is not so high for example 18-20k target price this year for bitcoin.
700  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coronavirus ain't helping on: February 28, 2020, 07:28:45 AM
We all have a new hope for crypto this year and no one saw coronavirus outbreak coming, if this isn't contained anytime soon all dreams might be nothing but dreams this year, Coronavirus ain't helping at all
The increase of price and the shifting of the market is not about coronavirus only and the most important is don't blame the outbreak if there is a downward or decrease of price in the market.

Though I cannot blame you if that is your thinking but as a crypto lover you should be resourceful and wise if you want to profit in crypto. Whatever the happenings in the market, you should make sure that you know how to adjust so you can still earn a decent amount of money. Coronavirus is an outbreak that is still continuing to spread up until now and others are saying that this outbreak helps the market to increase but you should also consider that it is only a prediction and there is no exact basis about it.
