Was there an airdrop on the 5th of Oct?

Dev decided to skip this month, and will resume next month on Nov 4.

no airdrop and the coin went down all the time... looks like something is very wrong...

27  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is better than Cash. on: September 27, 2017, 06:15:55 PM
Is gold better than cash? I don't think so, each has its own usage. Same for bitcoin, which is cyber gold.
28  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ICO regulation good or bad? on: September 27, 2017, 06:13:49 PM
Of course it is good to regulate it, because there are so many scams. Just look at the forum here, how many newbie started ICOs you see, almost all of them are scams and junks.
29  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Novaexchange work for you trade? on: September 27, 2017, 06:12:16 PM
Novaexchange works fine for me, I never had problems with it. It is ok exchange though not the best.
30  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: September 27, 2017, 06:11:21 PM
Altcoins will not die, there are some good ones with nice features and strong communities that will survive.
31  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is it better to invest in bitcoin or ethereum ? on: September 27, 2017, 06:10:03 PM
The bitcoin is clearly the king. All the rest are altcoins that can be traded but not held long term.
32  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-09-27] End of an Era: BTC China Stops Accepting Deposits, Begins to Shut.. on: September 27, 2017, 06:06:44 PM
Yes the center of the bitcoin will be shifted away from China, which is not a bad thing.
33  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin survive? on: September 27, 2017, 06:03:05 PM
Of course bitcoin will survive and becomes bigger and bigger, when it becomes similar to Visa, the price will go to moon!

Another newbie ICO with not much stuff. I hope the ICO will be regulated so less scams will be there.
35  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin goes past $5000, what will the Chinese government do? on: September 27, 2017, 04:47:49 PM
China will be out of the bitcoin business. The government's short-sighted decision will make them regret big time later.

Good News
Bitzure has been removed from coinmarketcap following people complaints.  Cheesy
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/deeponion/

This is great news indeed CS! Unfortunately I suspect those who have deposited funds to Bitzure have lost them altogether however...
I missed what happened with Bitzure.  Was it a shady exchange and they were stealing people's onions?

They outright robbed a slew of people who were trying to buy onions. Shame. One guy lost upwards of $5k
I read earlier this morning that this one guy's friend sent 4 BTC over there last night. That's rough.

I forgot the coin and the exchange, but I once saw that one exchange was selling a particular coin very cheaply, and I seriously consider of taking advantage of that incredible opportunity. I could make a lot of money. I did not want to kick myself for not taking advantage of it later on, and I needed to do it as soon as possible before the opportunity passed. But I Google the exchange, and though it seemed to work for many people, for many others they had their coins stuck there, with support not responding to their email for weeks.

And I thought, don't be greedy, it's not worth it.

And that's the part that people have to understand in crypto, to not let their emotions, fear of missing out get the upper hand. That's really what ruin many people.

I guess the fear of missing out is called FOMO, you are right emotions can make you lost money, yeah i read about the person who loss 4BTC is pretty sad. before to do a risky movement he should do it  with a small amount of BTC.

That was really big, why would he have to put that big amount at once, he can just buy a portion then withdraw and then deposit.
I think he is a whale and this time he loss a big amount of money without even trading it, I don't know if it's big to him.

I don't get why people trade at bitzure, isn't novaexchange is perfect fine for trading? though it is a small exchange, it is pretty ok.

whales in control of a huge percentage suck balls in the end.  Cry

Reason of this failure was that airdrop allowed exchanges and big BTC holders like ICONOMI or ICO projects to participate. Exchanges were not allowed, but actually they created non-exchange-looking BTC addresses for this purpose.

I guess dumping will go on for quite some time till those big byte holders complete selling.

Perhaps Tony could have laid some freeze mechanism (airdropped bytes (or big part of it) are frozen for at least 1 year). That might have created enough time for technical and business development.

Chasing commercial partners like in 10% payback program at this stage looks a bit late to me.

But other than that, Byteball do not seem to have any big problem. Recently joined programmers may bring some surprise  Roll Eyes

The distribution model should change now. It should no longer distribute to BTC holders, it should only distribute to byteball holders.

whales are clearly in dump mode, that's why the price is so low. The concern is whether it is recoverable from this point on.
39  Economy / Speculation / Re: what you think about bitcoin in like 5 years? on: September 21, 2017, 03:54:12 AM
It 5 years the bitcoin will reach $50,000 and I will be retiring, haha we will see.

Bitcoin is an innovation that will last, yes I believe it for sure. Bitcoin will gain more acceptence.
