1324  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Ebay/Paypal's ridiculous fees on: October 18, 2014, 01:30:33 PM
I stopped using ebay years ago because of the ridiculous fees involved. Also having to pay a percentage on the shipping fees charged to the customer also. Was about 15% at the end of the day plus then you lose 4% off paypal also... So 20% tax in total.

Agree, 20% is a lot for any transaction, time to use bitcoin instead..
1325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Cloud mining - Is it worth the risk ? on: October 18, 2014, 01:29:47 PM
Hello guys, i bought 3GH/s scrypt in genesis mining, that was 47.56 euros and i expect 4-5 months of ROI considering my earnings this week (first week).

Do you think is it worh to buy a lot of hash power in these services, i mean heavy investments like 100, 200, 300 euros investment and so on ? or with that kind of money there is other better options to thrive ?

Thanks a lot in advance for the help

You should buy from ltcgear, it seems like the best ROI right now...

1327  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: New to bitcoin mining .. suggestions tips? on: October 18, 2014, 01:27:11 PM
Hey everyone,

I am a total noob at the moment to the whole mining and bitcoin. I have been following it and doing my reading and it's a lot of info to wrap my head around and yet very exciting. My husband bought me a new antminer S4 and it is due to arrive today. I was just wondering if anyone had any getting started tips and advice. Opinion about good pools for noobs , software ect .. I am planning on running the rig 24/7. Yes I have read the forum , but it all becomes very confusing following link to link.

Thanks in advance Smiley

Dont mine and buy BTC directly, everyone would tell you the same thing..

1331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU Mining profitability is a joke on: October 08, 2014, 01:13:07 PM
I turned off my rig a few months ago, due to no profitability.
But what about new nvidia graphics? Gtx 970 or 980... Is it worth buying it or they will never ROI? I have about 3.5BTC that I got from previous mining (280x+270) so this it the most that I am willing to put back in mining.

Totally not going to ROI at this level...

1334  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should we be worried about bitcoin value drop? on: September 19, 2014, 12:26:05 AM
Should we be worried about bitcoin value drop?

If there was a value drop, then yes.

There hasn't been a value drop though, just a minor price drop.

Bitcoins are still worth 4 times as much as they were a year ago.

The problem is, the value rise to $1300 makes a lot of people enter into mining and crash the profitability of it. Now it has drop back 3x causing profitability dead completely..
1335  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the reason for the current bitcoin value crash? on: September 19, 2014, 12:21:48 AM
This is not crash. Now it's just long slow going downtrend that is coming to its floor before changing to uptrend.

Real crash was in 2013 when BTC dropped from $255 to $50. I know many weak traders who in despair dumped everything they bought for $200+ at ~$50.

Any reason for the crash in 2013?

1337  Economy / Economics / Re: Easiest way to make BTC? on: September 03, 2014, 03:39:37 PM
Suggestion: Look for a gambling site with big faucet. Get the faucet and then bet all in in their dice game. And then all in. And then all in until you reach the minimum cashout. You cashout. Play again in the faucet. : )

Good idea, but it ganna take 10000 tries to get significant amount..
1338  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ethereum still has 27k more coins to dump! on: September 03, 2014, 03:38:16 PM
They should be holding their coins because the next year will be worth ten times the actual value according to the charts.

Really? I trust bitcoin more then ethereum...

The bears are here to spread the word about the bitcoin collapse in order to buy cheap coins from the weak hands.

This is the main reason of most bears... I am bull Tongue
