Hi, I'm posting to find out if anyone has had success within the last month or so of getting a refund from Butterfly Labs? My payment was made through Paypal using an associated checking account. I have read many posts on here and here are the steps I've taken so far. 1. Emailed BFL a request for refund. Denied with the usual they don't do refunds. 2. Filed a complaint with the BBB. After I rejected their typical no refunds response, they never responded. 3. Opened a dispute/claim with Paypal. It was immediately closed because of the 45 day limit on this type of claim. I made the order back in April. I've been on the phone with them the last 3 weeks trying to get someone to help, the case was reopened, and was waiting for the sellers response, and there was none. Instead of closing the case and refunding in my favor, the case was just closed. I sent an email to david.marcus@paypal.com and executiveoffice@paypal.com pleading my case, and this was their response, "After a thorough review of your claim, we have determined we cannot continue with this investigation because your complaint was filed 45 or more days after the original transaction date." 4. Opened a case with my bank, but it is past their 60 day limit on claims of this nature. Dead end. 5. I've also filed a case with the Kansas Attorney General. Still waiting to hear anything from that. But not hopeful. At this point I've pretty much given up on getting my money back. I would really appreciate any advice or similar recent experiences that might help. Thanks in advance. That sucks, how much did you pay?

About inputs.io, what does that have to do with my sitiation? I did not use that wallet...? What am I missing here?
Nothing. He just has no idea what he's talking about. inputs.io is an online wallet, I would say Bitcoin-qt should be more secure compare to inputs...

As I noticed that the bitcoin price is rising over last month, I wanted to sell some for extra pocket money... Upon opening my bitcoin client I found out most of them were gone...
On 16-9-2013 20:15 11.79406039 BTC were withdrawn from my Bitcoin wallet to the following address 18nVNeiaQ22ajSzV9i3jce5VqQL4VJqEJt
Trying to accept my loss, struggling with anger, sadness and most of all the fact that I do not have a clue how "they" did it... Since I'm not expecting to see any of my GPU produced coins again, I would like to try and make my loss a lesson for any other (honest) bitcoin owner.
I hope this community can help me find out what I did wrong, and what would be the method most likely used to do the job. The answer might be very obvious to some of you, but with the knowledge I posses I can't figure out where I've gone wrong.
My situation: (In which of course my new wallet won't be...)
My wallet was stored (encrypted) on my local server. The password is stored on a USB thumbdrive using KeePass in a TrueCrypt partition. My server runs Windows Server 2008 R2 My PC runs Windows 8 SP1, both having all updates installed. My Bitcoin-QT software was version 0.8.3 I've never used my browser on my server. My PC uses FireFox, the only add-on I could think of that would improve my security would be Ghostery. I access my server using Remote Desktop or Clover, witch enables tab browsing. I mainly use it for storage, downloading and streaming.
I feel so stupid and really don't have a clue on how they got to me. Please help me out, so I can make sure this won't happen again.
hm.. seems secured.... KeePass is the problem maybe?

Raw salmon, YUMMYYYYY...
Popular in the Nordic countries! What is the white stuff next to the salmon? I love putting raw salmon on a sandwich. Just keep it simple with a little pepper, salt and lemon juice. Looks like potato salad to me...

Hey where's the warcraft 3?
Added now vote for it. Please also add hearthstone, although its not out yet but its going to...

I'm not sure if this is a bug in the software, or whether there is some funky things going on with the card's themselves, but voltages seem to set themselves where they please. My 2 cards have fairly comparable ASICS qualities, one is 78% while the other is 74%. Setting voltage to 1.25v on them = 1.031v for 78% ASIC and 1.063v for the 74% ASIC card. Here's another weird thing I noticed, the card running 1.063v actually pulls 5w less at the wall while hashing at the same settings. Seems like the higher ASIC card actually has more leakage. Increasing clock speed will also increase the GPU's voltage by it's self. Let's say for example: 1.25v set 1000mhz clock = 1.063v after vdroop using gpu-z. Up the clock speed to 1100mhz and now gpu-z measures 1.120v or so. To get back to 1.063v,youll have to lower voltage in GPUTweak to 1.15 for example. Those aren't actual numbers, but you get the gist of it. What's worse is that both cards behave differently!
This is really weird, higher ASIC usually have better quality output and you can lower the voltage lower compare to others and thus saving more energy. At least thats how it works for my 4 GPU...

hello, Im new in bitcoins mining,i wondering isnt too late to start mining bitcoins nowadays, even if i would buy KnC Jupiter Bitcoin Mining Rig which does 550Gh/s.Please advise me.Maybe my choice Jupiter mining rig is worthless.
I believe no mining equipment can be profitable. including GPU for scrypt mining because they are coming out with FPGA and ASIC already. Sooner or later they are going to flood the market like what they did to Bitcoin...

That's the way to do. You must have big balls.
Tried it for a month and not getting anything and continues The more you solo-mine, the bigger your balls get.Doesn't matter who's balls is bigger. What are you going to do if you still don't get any block after a year? continues??

If this continues, it would come to a point where no mining hardware is worth selling and all ASIC company would have to switch to scrypt-asic and the war starts again...
