661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: June 21, 2016, 03:18:47 PM
Many people with a smart mind are now holding their coin and that is because they already can see now that the value of Bitcoin is becoming higher so that is quite nice.
But of course it is hard to know what will happen in the future with Bitcoin itself.

Price is going down again, so I think we should hold our coins for the halving, as this price is not too good to sell coins, if you hold you can earn higher profits at halving.
662  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: June 21, 2016, 03:17:06 PM
bitcoin 1 $
oh i will buy 500 btc and hold it till it go up again  Wink

This is really a good idea and plan to do once it reached the price of $1. Just like what early bitcoin people did.
They bought thousands of bitcoin at a very low price and they just hold it until today.
And now they are rich.
The chance is low that it can happen and that is because it is now around this time rising so that is nice for the people who already have Bitcoin and are waiting for the right moment to sell it.
But it wont be that bad and if that will happen than many people will stop using Bitcoin.

If price goes back to $1 then I think many people will stop using bitcoin because of the low value, and rest will prefer to buy as much as they can, but I don't we will ever see that price.
663  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin have lost more than $100 in a day... on: June 21, 2016, 03:15:06 PM
The price on BTC-e is $614 as we speak. Any reason for this?
There are two reasons for this drop
1) Bitfinex was offline
2) $19 Million in Bitcoin were sold in Australia
Anyway i believe that the price will increase again in the next weeks ups and down are normal in bitcoin and people should not panic.

Yeah better to have patience and wait till the halving, as price will again start moving up when halving comes near, so hold your coins till then and sell when you see higher price.
664  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: June 21, 2016, 03:13:19 PM
To be honest I would sell them all at once because the price at the moment is $700+ so I would make allot of money by selling them right away.
and remember that money is not your money but the money of investors  Grin Grin Grin

Well I guess he is owning it already as the title says if the op will give it to us. But with that amount I would sell them also maybe half of it.
And then I will just continue to hold the remaining half for future purpose and investment.

If we are getting it for free then we should surely sell some of them and hold hard cash as price is really good at a moment and we can invest that cash in some other product.

Getting 10 BTC and that too be free is really very nice thing. Once you get 10BTC, just save it and keep it until bitcoin price reaches 10000 $.

We need to wait longer to see that price, I think we should sell some coins when price reaches to $1k mark and make some profits from it and rest should be put on hold.
665  Economy / Speculation / Re: FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DONT SELL YOUR BITCOIN on: June 18, 2016, 05:23:59 AM
Actually you should sell all your bitcoins so you can buy shitcoins. Shitcoins are the future

I don't think so, daddy is daddy, bitcoin has a great future ahead and the price of bitcoin will be much higher in future and I don't there is any other better coin in compare to bitcoin.
666  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Bitcoin will pass 1000 usd again ? on: June 18, 2016, 05:22:28 AM
I have realized that for the las three weekends the bitcoins price has increased around 20% each weekend. From this perspective, it would not be difficult to see a price around $1000 in a couple of weeks, July 2 is my prediction,  just to celebrate with anticipation the independence day of USA  Grin

Yeah, if the current trend really continues, which I definitely think it will into the long term future instead of the short term, then the price of bitcoin going over $1000+ is pretty much guaranteed in two months.

However nobody can tell for sure.

The price of bitcoin is unpredictable but looking at the present spike I think we will touch that price very soon and I am sure this halving will take us to that price.
667  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: June 18, 2016, 05:20:47 AM
Well, you could always hold bitcoin for the long term and just wait for the profits to come in gradually, but I think a smarter way would be to speculate on the price on different stages.

But the general direction is up, up, up.

I don't prefer to hold it for a long term, I keep on selling whenever I can make profits from it and again wait for the price drop to buy some more coins and I think that is the best way to play with bitcoin.
668  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: June 18, 2016, 05:18:41 AM
Yes gold is profitable in every time but for now bitcoin was much profitable because the value is continues rising but this two we need this in the future
It would be really good if we invest in both of them, but as of now I will prefer to invest in bitcoin as price is increasing continuously and it will be much higher at the time of halving.
669  Economy / Economics / Re: USD vs BTC on: June 18, 2016, 05:15:25 AM
Not even close. We on this forum are familiar with bitcoin but the vast majority of the world and even America don't know what it is. Most people in the world know what the US dollar is (and of course everyone in America knows what the US dollar is).

Time is changing mate, and it will change in future too when people will start knowing about bitcoin they will start investing their money into bitcoin for sure.

That's right because we are in the modern technology era and as the time goes by with the generation today. People tend to look for the things that
give them convenience at most. And that's for sure with bitcoin.

People who holds bitcoin will surely prefer to use bitcoin at a moment, as they are aware about the potential of bitcoin and they will continue to invest in it.
670  Economy / Economics / Re: How to earn money with bitcoin ? on: June 18, 2016, 05:13:33 AM
Holding Bitcoin is probably the best way to earn money. The other ways you can earn money with Bitcoin is signature campaigns, faucets and gambling.

That's true holding your bitcoin today is one easy way to earn money with it. That is effort less and no risk at all.
What you need to do is just wait for the halving look for the price increase and sell if that price is right for you.

Holding is really good at a moment but we also need to put some efforts in growing our bitcoins and if we successfully do it then we can expect higher and additional profits in future.
671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's stopping people from using bitcoin? on: June 18, 2016, 05:11:39 AM
I guess it's the irreversibility that is stopping people from using bitcoin, however, it is the thing that attracts people to bitcoin as well. The problem with newbies is that they are easily scammed.

It's not a good feeling to get scammed, so they stop using BTC.

If the newbies are getting scammed then its their issue that they invested in ponzi schemes and for that you cannot blame bitcoin, you need to do great level of research before investing.
672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with your 13 bitcoins on: June 18, 2016, 05:07:50 AM
hold it for few months till btc price going up to ~$500 and sell it when it happening, simple, and less risky but need time
or do use it for paying my monthly bills
Well let's just hope that he saved all his Bitcoin until now. The price is at a 28 month high. If he sold before, he is definitely not albert einstein.

Price is around $750 now we are expecting much higher price at the time of halving, so at this stage the best thing would be to hold those coins for next couple of days.
Not just for a couple of days. I would say hold for a couple of months and then sell if you really want to or if you want even more profit, keep holding.

Holding for long term can be risky as we are not sure what will be the price of bitcoin in future and if price falls drastically then we need to wait for a long time to see higher price.
673  Other / Off-topic / Re: How would you guys react if you guys lost 10, 000 bitcoin? on: June 18, 2016, 05:05:45 AM
Imagine if you left that amount of Bitcoin in an online wallet, other than blockchain, and then you forgot your password. Then the wallet wouldn't allow you to reset the password. What would you do?

Lolz that will be an huge havoc I think if that scenario happens then a person will surely loose his temper and may be he may be shifted to mental hospital.
674  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: June 17, 2016, 09:34:19 PM
A good idea for current situation. Until halving it is really worth to hold. As the price is really going higher and higher, better to sleep with BTC now. Can earn and fill the wallet with more BTC.
Exactly, I think it would be really smart to hold our coins at a moment, as selling now is not recommended as we are sure price will boost up at the time of halving.
The price may reach 900 USD. This is the peak time to experience a reasonable turn around to the wallet. Lets work smart now and pile up the BTC. Let this be a blessed moments for each one here in this forum to reach a bit high.

My prediction is that price will touch $1k before the halving and it may go above $1k at the time of halving,  so I am expecting $1200 price at halving.

I think that is quiet possible now as price is going up and up so if we cross $800 in next few days then we will see the price of 1000 usd at the time of halving.
675  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long is Bitcoin life? on: June 17, 2016, 09:32:43 PM
Bitcoin will be fine unless USA, Russia or China bans it. If one or more of those countries ban bitcoin and make it unusable in any way, then bitcoin will die slowly. It won't die in instant, and will live in shadows but in the end it will die. Let's pray it won't happen.

Either if they ban it will still exist. People then to fight if something is taken by them without a good reason.
But the protocol of bitcoin will end probably somewhere in 2060

We really don't know how long is the life of bitcoin, as its really difficult to predict but I think if bitcoin gains the physical form like fiat then it can never die for sure.
676  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do you buy Bitcoins? on: June 17, 2016, 09:31:08 PM

I believe so many people now buying bitcoin for this halving event they are buying high volume of bitcoins and save to their wallet because they know they can earn more profit for this halving event,
And for me i buy bitcoin to earn money online.

Yes, they buy bitcoin as an investment for the forthcoming halving. They are expecting to have a profit in a soonest possible time if they bought recently. There are also people who buy bitcoin to send to thier family accross the globe as charge is chep using bitcoin. Some also buy bitcoin to pay thier bills or to send as payment to the services they get online.

Majority of people are buying bitcoins now to make profits by selling at the time of halving and I think that is the right thing to do, this halving will surely give us a reason to smile.
677  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: June 17, 2016, 09:28:55 PM
I would not do this anytime because its a risk you are taking and also not a small risk in my eyes.
I think the bitcoin has a very good future and that you should wait with doing this.

If bitcoin price reaches to the moon in future then we can think of quitting our job, but till then not possible as it will be really risky to depend only on bitcoin for living.
I think the better is that we should have to keep bitcoin earnings as a side job and have to remain in our day job at day time, with that we will not have any fear about the future of bitcoin and will be satisfied on both sides.

Yeah and if we can earn from both of them then you should we go with a single option, its better to grab the money from both of them as it will be really helpful in future.
678  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you actively spend your bitcoins? on: June 17, 2016, 09:27:07 PM
I have been an active spender of bitcoins like most of us. But I am sorry to say right now I am not spending or gambling as much as I used to do earlier. Because I am damn sure the price will go MUCH MUCH HIGHER and spending them right now might hurt me later.

Yeah we cannot afford to loose our coins at the time when we are so near to halving, as even small portion lost can be unaffordable as price will be very high at halving.
679  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: June 17, 2016, 09:24:31 PM
It seems to me that investing is always good, but it 's always better to have some spare cash. So make sure to do or have both.
Some money in savings, some in investments.

Yeah following both will really help you in long run, as if your investment goes in future then also the money that you have saved will take care of you in tough times.
680  Other / Off-topic / Re: Complete the sentence... "I would sell all my Bitcoins if..." on: June 17, 2016, 09:22:44 PM
I would sell all my bitcoins if price will be around $900 for 1 bitcoin and i think that i will instantly get a new car. I am dreaming so long for this moment.

$900 is really good price to sell the coins, but I think you should hold it bit longer as everyone believes that bitcoin will cross the price of $1k very soon.
