1021  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: April 10, 2016, 05:12:16 PM
I've stopped buying and waiting to see what happens with the block size...

I am buying bitcoins too, reason being I pay my friends and everyone in BTC ( for whatever work or service they offer ) . I think we all should encourage everyone we know about bitcoins and its uses, hence spreading awareness about Bitcoins...

Yeah that is the good thing to do, as buying now is the best option available as if you buy now and sell at the time of halving you can expect higher accounts.
1022  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your idle coins? on: April 10, 2016, 04:58:05 PM
I have some coins idling around in my wallet but I cannot bear to put it in hyip or risk it. But it is a waste to let it idle around. Yes. I have coins in some "lower risk" hyips to generate some interest which I'm prepared to write off. I also have some coins converted to hashing power in hashnest and BW.com but it has to be monitored else you will suffer a loss instead.  Grin

Unlike fiat currencies, I cannot park these coins into banks backed by governmental institutions. I put my fiat currencies in banks or blue chips but I cannot do it with cryptos.

So, what do you do with your idle coins? Let it sit around?

i just let them to stay in my wallet and wait for price rise, would be dumb to gamble( and probably lose them) them or so, i like to see more and more money in my wallet then price rises, so i won't change that and i will keep my idle bitcoins for longer, maybe i will keep them for some time and will sell them only if price will go to 1000$

If you are to sell only at the price tag of $1000, you need to have lot patience if it doesn't happen in the month of halving.

$1k value is not easy to achieve and I think it will take a long time to reach there, as price is stable at a moment and I think we might see this value at the end of the year.
1023  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: April 10, 2016, 04:52:06 PM
If the Bitcoin's price get stable we can trying earning the living with Bitcoin, but it's not stable right now unluckily.

Even if it gets stable I don't think that would be smart decision only to rely on bitcoin, as we don't know where bitcoin will stand in future, so its always good to earn passive income from bitcoin.
The peculiarity of bitcoin lies in that it won't be stable always yr or unstable always. So just earn something from bitcoin for your expenses. But have a job with monthly income, so that you don't want to be worried if price goes low or high.
yes true if we have a job and consider bitcoin as a sideline. we were not too worried if something bad happens to the price.

Even if bitcoin reaches to the highest level in future we cannot depend only on that, as anything is possible with bitcoin, continue with your present job.
1024  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: April 10, 2016, 04:49:00 PM
I saw some ads on internet which were busy in promising to double the coins in few hours, so I invested in it and I lost everything and then I came to know there is nothing like doubling coins.
1025  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: April 09, 2016, 05:36:01 PM
Where I live it is enough around $500 per month for a family of 4 to live a decent life. If only it were possible to make this money online in Bitcoins I would definitely quit every day jobs and go full online.
it looks like you can make an income greater than $500 if you're working on bitcoin. there are many ways you can do to get bitcoin. if you work in a real job you can only make $ 500 and not more or restricted only this.
but when you're working on bitcoin. you can earn more than that even unlimited

what do you mean by unlimited lol.

a persons time is restricted on what they can earn.. unless this person bitcoin holdings value sky rockets I see no way its worth it for a family to be at risk.

Depending only on bitcoin is very risky, its good to keep on earning from it in the form of extra but I will never quit my job for the sake of bitcoins.
1026  Economy / Economics / Re: Mining coins save or sell it? on: April 09, 2016, 05:33:32 PM
if i were you i would definitely sell it all i think until i would make a return of investment for all those gadgets and electricity i would use during the mining process, in order to make it profitable

after that i would definitely keep all my bitcoins i mine in my cold storage and wait for some bigger prices, in my opinion thats the best option that you might actually do right now

Yeah saving for future is the best thing to do with bitcoins, as selling now is not profitable enough so if we hold now and sell at the time of halving then it can be more profitable.

Some people cant afford to hold it for that long though.

But yeah, the overall sense should be profitble in the long term scenario if the price cap increases based on the how many bought out there still left.

we don't know what will be the price of bitcoin in future but lets hope that it will be better then present so at a moment its better to hold for next couple  of months.

Yeah truly the price of bitcoin will be seen around $800 to the minimum after halving takes place.

How can you say that. There is no guarantee the price will got to 800. Even with the halvign taking place i don't expect the price to go over 600 dollar.
This is a very very risky thing. Promising fake guarantees is bad.

Now you tell me how can you say that it won't go above $600? Anything is possible with bitcoin as no one knows what will be the price at the time of halving.
1027  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many bitcoins do I need to retire in 20 years? on: April 09, 2016, 05:29:08 PM
If bitcoin reaches to $10k in next 20 years then I think 100 bitcoins can take care of me very easily, but its always good to hold more.
1028  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: April 09, 2016, 05:25:50 PM
Its always good to buy as much bitcoin as possible now as we are expecting higher price in future, so its good if we buy more then 1 btc.
1029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS BETTER THAN WESTERN UNION ? on: April 09, 2016, 05:19:13 PM
I will prefer to go with bitcoin at a moment as I am not at all interested in paying higher fees to WU if bitcoin is taking care of me with least fees.
1030  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: earn 0.5 btc on: April 09, 2016, 05:15:09 PM
I will earn it from gambling and trading and also from signature campaign, if you can work on it in multiple ways then you can earn it fast.
1031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: April 09, 2016, 05:10:44 PM
I don't think that Bitcoin make banks disappear, because already banking services support the Bitcoin's currency nowadays to get converted easily into cash and fiat, and also Bitcoin isn't yet used like banking services

General public who are not into bitcoins yet will never leave banking system as I don't see any valid reason for them to leave banks at a moment.
1032  Other / Off-topic / Re: When is Bitcoins going to die? on: April 09, 2016, 05:03:30 PM
Why do you want it to die? Are you not profiting well from the good movement of bitcoin.

If big investors will stay then it will not be easy to take it down. I think they are the one holding the death of butcoin. If they got a lot of investment here they will not let it be taken down without a fight.
Not only big investors everyone knows that bitcoin has no death because it is providing life (means some earning) to the people using it. So the people won't leave it so easily.

True believers of bitcoin will never leave bitcoin, as people who have faith in it will continue to follow it even if the price drops extremely.
1033  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: April 09, 2016, 05:00:18 PM
The future of bitcoin is very good as it is growing now and it is getting popular nowadays and we are seeing many new users started to use it so bitcoin's future is pretty safe.
1034  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: April 09, 2016, 04:53:17 PM
I don't have any plan to get rich with it, as I am having a good job and I have all retirement plans with fiat, I will keep on earning bitcoin till it is alive.
1035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: April 08, 2016, 04:29:58 PM
it will not fix your life gamble is not solution to your problem if you do not stop they will wreck your life..
I think in any way he could be the solution for you can be rich but I choose gambling as a last option for getting rich.
although gambling has a big risk. but gambling is the solution for you if you want to be rich in a short time.
gambling can damage and improve your life

Yes either it can make your life or can spoil your life, but I think we should gamble big once in a lifetime as who knows we might hit the jackpot  Grin
1036  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to collect BTC ?? on: April 08, 2016, 04:27:06 PM
For me the best way is to earn it from signature campaign and sometimes I am also collecting it from captcha work but the major problem is I don't have enough time to spend here on the forum.
1037  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is it too late to start with bitcoin? on: April 08, 2016, 04:23:31 PM
Its never too late to start with something good  Wink

And even if you have started it late you are at the right place which can change things around you in future when bitcoin gets more powerful.
1038  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WHICH BITCOIN WALLET IS THE MOST GOOD AND CONVINENCY on: April 08, 2016, 04:17:56 PM
I am using multibit at a moment as I think its very safe and secure and whenever I need to transfer it to my bank account I transfer a part of it to LBC.
1039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do people around you think about Bitcoin ? on: April 08, 2016, 04:12:33 PM
Nobody knows about Bitcoin, nor uses it around me. I tell my secret only to a chosen few. Am I doing it right?
why it should be a secret? i dont get it, everyone should use bitcoin thus you should tell about it to everyone that might ever want to try it as it is the future of our financial system

my friends and family still think that it might never work out though now after 2 years of me using it they look a bit more careful about it and might even try using it

The fact is we don't want that our friends and relatives should know that we are making money with bitcoins and that is a human nature can't help.
1040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: April 08, 2016, 04:07:42 PM
Yes I'm holding the bitcoin, because the bitcoin has a good future itself due to the halving that is gonna happen this year.
The bitcoin is also growing so I think that will let the price increase, so I will holding them.
well yeah more and more people are getting interested in it to be honest, thats why the price will soon start growing most probably though im not too confident about it

im holding my bitcoins right now because i honestly hope that the price will start growing pretty soon before the halving event what will earn me some good money
There are a lot of people that is holding their Bitcoin for a good price increase, you can see now at the value that the value is now stable and it is quite good that there are so much people who have patience to wait.
People who want to make some profit now around this time are now trading or even gambling to earn some money with it.

I am doing the same trying my luck on gambling to multiply my coins in quick way so that I can hold more number of coins at the time of halving, selling more coins means earning more profits.
