441  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: August 09, 2016, 05:12:06 PM
of course it would be a great investment if you held for at least 10 years

That's what exactly I am gonna do, I am planning to hold it for next 10 years without spending it, the only difference is till that point of time I will be holding more then 1 btc in my wallet.
442  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: August 09, 2016, 05:10:37 PM
I will only buy when bitcoin prices fall , because it is a good opportunity to save bitcoin in large numbers and I'll sell when the price rising again.

That is a good strategy to follow, and I think you should also buy some coins at current price as this price cannot be considered to be high if we keep future price in our minds.
443  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: August 09, 2016, 05:08:34 PM
I am saving part of my salary by buying bitcoins monthly, whenever I get my salary I put some money in bitcoin irrespective of the price, as price will reach to new level in future.
444  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can disappear? on: August 09, 2016, 05:07:03 PM
As far as i know, bitcoins are limited and someday it will every coin be mined, but i don't believe that bitcoin can dissapear completly, but it can become unused.
I don't see any possibility of bitcoin being unused because if they're scarce then there would be more demand of it as it human psychology proves that the less we have is the more we want.

bitcoin will always be used even if it loses its market place somehow, it can still be used as a means to transfer money from one point to another with the most secure system even if it is worth $1 so it will never die. and all the rest of the usages are of secondary importance but they are still of value.

Yeah no matter how it goes down in value, it can be used by people who believe in it.  And besides its not easy to make btc disappear, traces will always be there and as long as there is a node running for it, it will never disappear.  That's the beauty of digital currency in my  opinion.

Its very hard to believe that bitcoin can ever disappear in future, bitcoin is only 7 years old and it still has long way to go and reach every corner of the world.
445  Other / Archival / Re: Do you use bitcoin as currency or investment? on: August 09, 2016, 05:04:57 PM
Its surely an investment for me, I am a long term holder so whatever I earn or buy I save it for future as I am pretty sure that price will be above our expectations in future.
446  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: August 09, 2016, 05:03:11 PM
I will hold it for a long time and wait to increase to a nice price, then I can sell it with a lot of profit in the future and that would be perfect so I have also more money and that is nice.

I think it would be very unfortunate if you just hold it. after all it's just a gift why do not you try to replicate or grow. I think it would be great.
after all if you lose you will not get any downsides or lost right ? because it is free money given by other people right ?

it is better to grow it, rather than just holding. but if he is afraid to take risks and do not have any skill to grow, not so bad just hold.

investing and growing bitcoin is the best option but sometimes it is a lot better to just hold the coins in your cold storage rather than investing them in some shady business that is going to run away with your coins like these cloudmining ponzi schemes that start hot and go under fast.

therefore, you must be smart in choosing an investment. because investing in online have a very high risk, and the reliable when talking about a lot of money, they could have changed their minds to be a scam.

Online investments have become major headache nowadays, its hard to find genuine site for making an investment as in long we see them running away with people's money.
447  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: August 09, 2016, 05:01:27 PM
my plan is to just get as much bitcoins as possible and hold for a decade

If you want to get rich with bitcoin then firstly you need to have good number of coins and you should save it at least for next 10 years without spending it, price may hit $10k in next 10 years.
448  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcoin affects life a lot on: August 09, 2016, 04:59:46 PM
I am earning good money from it by trading and from signature campaign and it has really helped me in the past when I was unemployed so it will always an important part of my life.
449  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do you have Bitcoin? on: August 09, 2016, 04:57:59 PM
I have bitcoins to buy things and i voted for Buying other things/Using as Currency, since i join bitcoin forum i use my bitcoins in buying different things like food, mobile phone and clothes. And some people have bitcoins for trading, they are waiting for price to increase and then they sell their bitcoins.
Yes it was pretty good but I could not use bitcoin to buy my needs because in my country bitcoin is not too well known so it is very difficult to use directly. I'm using bitcoin for trade and investment to double my profits from the signature campaign and then cashed in order to be used.

Most of the users are following the same, earning it and selling it to fiat when they need money to spend, and rest are holding for future to earn big profits from it.

I agree i read alot of people here using bitcoin as tool to earn them profit.  Lots of them are holding  it amd just wait for price increase because the fear that they are not well verse in trading and think that they might mess up.  Others are using it for earn quick scheme gambling their BTC while others use it for trading.

Gambling and trading are two most popular ways of earning bitcoins both of them involves great level of risk but still people prefer to take risk to earn quick money.
450  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earning a living with bitcoin? on: August 09, 2016, 04:55:55 PM
At my opinion to lieve on earning with bitcoin, you should be very very experienced on it and also know what to do and how to do this.
of course experience is the most important thing to start a good earning in bitcoin. without experience you can't get good fortune to make your future bright..
and bitcoin need even more skills and experience to get a proper job to earn a living. all bitcoin earning ways. like trading, mining, blogging need good skills.
And if you have all those skills then only you should think of getting into bitcoins for living, as you cannot afford to depend only on single way of earning bitcoins.
451  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: August 09, 2016, 04:53:12 PM
I think banks will adopt blockchains sooner or later, so they won't disappear at all.

Yes banks will adopt blockchain technology in near future but they will not support bitcoins for sure, and banks will always survive at they have support from Governments.
452  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think bitcoin will reach it's $1000 mark again? on: August 07, 2016, 03:56:11 PM
i am not thinking about it but i am sure that the price of bitcoin will even cross 1000$ very easily. i am hopeful that at the end of 2016 you will even see the price of bitcoin about 1200$. i think it is still good time to buy bitcoin. if some one is interested he can buy it other wise they will be able to see the present price in future.

Its expected that we will see that price in this year but again we cannot be so sure that it will happen may be it will take long time to achieve that price.
453  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much do you think 1 Bitcoin will be worth in 2020? on: August 07, 2016, 03:50:23 PM
Always thought the $100.000 was total bulshit but can't help hoping it will get there eventually.

Please put down the number you think it will reach not the number you hope it will be  Cool
Well next 4 years I don't think bitcoin reach $10k because now price is now $650 and its need long run to reach $10k.Still bitcoin can not reach to people everywhere in the world.First bitcoin need to introduce everywhere and encouraging people to use bitcoin when that's happening that time will be possible to reach the moon.

There will not be many people in the world use the bitcoin. If 1% of the world population use the bitcoin, the price will be over $500,000.
Already 1% people over the world are aware about bitcoin, the current price is $570 and the price expected by you is $500k, the difference is too large and if 30% people come to know about bitcoin then the price will touch $10k.

1% of the world population is about 70 million people. But just may 0. 5 million people actually own bitcoin.

we will probably never know how many people are actually holding bitcoin, but i am quite sure that the number is far below 1 million. maybe as you also said, closer to 500k. this however shows how much growth we can potentially expect in the future. keep holding and everyone will be just fine.

Its never possible to calculate the exact percentage of users using bitcoin, but one thing is sure the number is too low at a moment, hopefully it will increase in future.
454  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: August 07, 2016, 03:47:26 PM
I generally buy bitcoin because of its unstable price nature and also its flexible and compact ways of exchanging.

Well the price of bitcoin now is keep on rising so I guess if you are going to buy bitcoin the right time is to buy at low price. Don't wait for it to increase so that you aren't going to feel sorry when its too late. It is very easy to remember that always buy at low price and don't wait for it to raise to higher price.

The bitcoin price might trade around $580 for a few more weeks. After that, it will rise to around $660.
yeah, it will grow a lot pretty soon thats why i buy a lot of bitcoins right now, i think that in this way i would manage to make some good profit out of it

This is the best time to buy as price is below $600 and price may reach $1k at the end of the year allowing us to make good profits by selling at that time.
455  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: August 07, 2016, 03:42:17 PM
For now, i'm also not gonna sell my bitcoins, because the bitcoin's price is going up and it's better to wait and i will sell my bitcoins if i think the bitcoin's price not increase again.

The price of bitcoin will surely increase in future the only thing you need to have a patience, price is expected to touch $1k in this year and that would be the right time to sell some of our coins.
We foresaw a decline in bitcoin prices, and now it is getting better. I expect this buy pressure will subside for the following weeks and at the end of this year we can see a good  effect in price. We shall sell coins then for good profits.

4 digit price is possible at the end of the year, so the best decision would be to hold our coins till the end of the year to earn higher profits.
456  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make 17 BTC out of 7 BTC ? on: August 07, 2016, 03:39:30 PM
Does someone has any suggestions how to make 17 BTC with 7 BTC starting capital in short period of time?

I think there is not any "perfect" law to make this "insane" return Smiley
the only way is try to gamble, but in a short period of time it's pretty sure you can only lose all!

Gambling is the fastest way to loose money, so its better not to invest in gambling, comparatively trading is safer if you are able to handle it smartly.

Yes I agree with you gambling is the fastest way if you want to lose your money easily. Not even for one hour you are going to lose that immediately with dicing. And it is true that trading is much more safer than other investments.
Trade it, that is the best way to multiply your coins in quick time, and to make it even quicker you should invest in altcoin trading.
457  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: August 07, 2016, 03:35:38 PM
Someday when price will be around $100 per coin, i will buy many bitcoins i hope, but now when price is around $600 i will keep earning as much as possible without wastings.
Of course people will buy themselves a huge load of coins at $100, but these times are over.

Right now people dream about seeing sub $300 prices, which is already an unrealistically low price that probably will not happen again.

Yeah not possible to see bitcoin below $500 now and $100 is simply impossible, and if you are waiting to buy at that price then you are really wasting your time as that day will never come now.

actually, it did go below $500 due to the bitfinex hack. but i am quite sure that if there wasn't a hack, that the price would still be hovering around the $640-$650 levels. at least, the price is recovering again, and who knows, maybe we'll be having +$600 prices back next week, or at least this month. it's a shame that an exchange not having the right security pushes back price that took us years to build up.

Yeah it was really strange to hear that bitfinex turned into scam as it was holding good reputation and people were having faith in it and now people will prefer not to invest in any exchange site.
458  Other / Archival / Re: how to earn bitcoin fast? on: August 07, 2016, 03:31:29 PM
The fastest way of earning bitcoins is mining obviusly, but you need to invest good money on your hardware and be also experienced, but it's not good path for newbies.
i cannot agree with you, the fastest way of getting bitcoins is just buying it, though if you want to make it for free then the signature campaigns might help

why would a newbie buy bitcoin if they have no idea what bitcoin is? mining is the fastest way but you need a good
capital for it and it is not recommended for newbies, sig. campaign, trading, faucets is a stepping stone for newbies to
start earning and when they are familiar and have expirience with bitcoin they can start earning faster than before.
Yes, mining is for who has a lot of experience not for who just started to know what bitcoin is. I think the simplest way for newbies is buying it and some other ways is fauceting or doing any small tasks in service sections.

But any people (both beginners and experienced) must realize earning bitcoin is not a possible fast process. You need to build your Rome (as Rome is not built in single day) similar to how other people are doing.

Mining. Yes. But not in this age. You will need a lot of money to start a mining business. A fast and really strong computer plus bills to pay. I wouldn't go that way. Maybe if I have a managet then I might. But now it takes a lot of capital to get ROi.

Mining is no more profitable now, it needs high capital to invest and if electricity cost is higher then its difficult to make profits from it.
459  Other / Off-topic / Re: What to do with my signature campaign earnings ? on: August 07, 2016, 03:28:49 PM
Save them! When it's not longer available (Sig campaigns) and bitcoin has risen dramatically, you will realize how much you really got paid for all that writing, retrospectively. With enough time, you may be pleasantly surprised Wink

Yup, save those earnings for future and do not spend it, as fiat is taking care of our expenses so we really don't need to sell our coins at this stage as those earnings will be more valuable in future.
460  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is the Future of Bitcoin ? on: August 07, 2016, 03:26:26 PM
Bitcoin can be successful but it is just a fact it is not stable enough to have a bright future. It has to prove itself first that it can handle the news of disaster in the market with out wavering just like the other currency do. They do change but not that much to have people loose $100 of dollars if it shift in a heartbeat.

That happens with bitcoin because it is not a currency used widely by users, i agree that the user database if bitcoin is really large but not like fiat currencies, that is the reason why it drops and grows with time because it is not a currency used in big businesses or investments or it is not a currency that is running a lot of countries like dollar.

The users of bitcoin are limited at a moment but that doesn't mean it will  be same in future as we will find many new users who will invest their money into it.

The number of the bitcoin will increase steadily in the future. But that depends on the user experience.

The demand of the bitcoin depends on the user experience. If that is good, people will use bitcoin more.

Yeah and if they will use it for productive things then it will surely have positive impact on people but if they get scammed then they will prefer to stay away from bitcoins.
Bitcoin being limited for now is a great opportunity for others to invest in it so that in the future, some of the limitations will be lifted and investors profit too, but the possibility for that is highly thin. So, bright future for bitcoin is almost assured one. When bitcoin go popular, demand will rise obviously. Demand will do all the magics for any investments.

Bitcoin is still not too popular in every corner of the world, and it will take time for bitcoin to reach everywhere, but the positive thing is that users of bitcoin are increasing now.
