121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best or safest way to store coins? on: May 26, 2015, 08:14:46 AM
It really depends on how many coins you're storing. No point in doing a lot for something worth little value.
I'd say best it to generate keys offline and print/write out the paper wallet.
Put it in a fireproof box and lock away somewhere or put in a safety deposit box somewhere.
Coins are good but you have to be careful as the keys have been generated by others.

Where do you get all these iPads from?
What's the lowest you'd accept for the 128GB?
123  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: WTB Ebay Account on: May 12, 2015, 05:37:43 AM
Selling an eBay account isn't recommended. eBay track all IPs so if you logged in first from your IP and then the account is flagged for suspicious activity, eBay could place a ban on all accounts with that associated IP
124  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptosteel: The Ultimate Cold Wallet Private Key Storage System on: May 07, 2015, 10:31:42 PM
This is a good idea and looks nice but just like a paper wallet, it can fall into the wrong hands, get lost or get thrown away by accident. What is the retail price once crowdfunding campaign is live?
125  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB] Lesser Known Physical Crypto Coins, Paper Wallets on: May 07, 2015, 10:23:14 PM
The infinitum coins look very nice but are quite expensive and have a high premium.   Cry Cry Cry
126  Economy / Economics / Re: 2014 Poll: How many bitcoins do you own? on: May 07, 2015, 10:21:17 PM
I don't understand why people would disclose real information here if it could lead to their accounts getting hacked. It's not wise to do so so best if you don't.

Have these ever been over clocked?
128  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC for SMS? on: May 06, 2015, 10:09:51 AM
How would it work? If I have a PAYG sim that tops up at a corner shop what would happen then? I don't think it'll work unless there's full verification with papers as otherwise there is nothing stopping you using someone else's phone.
129  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A better way to exit out of Bitcoin on: May 04, 2015, 09:00:18 PM
Localbitcoins is good and easy to use. There are plenty of ways out but you need to do a bit of searching. Just a small piece of advice, keep a small amount of BTC (0.1-1BTC) in a cold wallet somewhere just in case BTC does fly sky high. That way you won't feel too bad for cashing out as you had something small in safekeeping. If it doesn't rise and ou falls you could just look at it as a small risk that didn't go your way. Not the end of the world.
130  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic Totalitarianism on: May 04, 2015, 08:57:04 PM
In my eyes cash is easier to hide than BTC and crypto. One is undeclared and not really traceable when used for buying goods. Crypto on the other hand can leave all sorts of trails of you happen to drop an address of yours somewhere. That being said, should you manage to buy it anonymously and keep it in cold storage then you may have a chance of using it without having to declare.

133  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Buying - iTunes Code/Codes upto $100 on: March 31, 2015, 07:41:50 PM
The deal with amacar is done and no escrow used. I am still looking for more codes if anyone has some for sale.
134  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS Zalman keyboards and Mouses (lot) on: March 31, 2015, 07:00:54 PM

136  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is minersource.net legit on: March 31, 2015, 01:41:01 AM
So did they rip anyone off or just change names? I have purchased a few miners from Minersource.net in the past and never had any types of issues. It is really sad how much drama is involved in the mining scene.
137  Economy / Securities / Re: AMHash1: Cost-Effective Mining Contract on: March 31, 2015, 01:38:27 AM
He's very good and puts it exactly as it is.

I can't tell if that's sarcasm, or if you are actually supporting these idiots attempts at taking action against AM.

So just let them rip people off and walk away? They should bring legal action and not just roll over after getting scammed. I am glad when these ASIC companies rob people they get taken to court. Maybe after a few more get dragged into litigation they will stop screwing people. So far FailFast and BFL been taken to court..AM next it seems.

BFL principles were taken to court by the FTC based on consumer complaints.  Does China have an FTC equivalent and would they listen to foreign consumers wrt AMHash?

China does indeed have something similar with the same acronym even. FTC in China -> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_Trade_Commission_%28Republic_of_China%29

139  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Buying - iTunes Code/Codes upto $100 on: March 31, 2015, 01:35:31 AM
I have a 30$ Austalian iTunes Gift Card , I'm selling it for 25$ worth BTC , it is a egift sent to me then I got the code so I'll be sending you the code if you're interetsed or I'll send the forwarded email , thanks

Will that work for me being in the USA? If it does work I will buy it from you provided we use an escrow.

You can but you need to have zero dollar value in your iTunes account then you've to change your account to Australian country it's very easy . Then you can redeem it .

I do currently have a small balance so not sure that would work for me.
140  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Prisma 2.0 on: March 31, 2015, 01:34:07 AM
I have some friends with the "Tube" miner and they did not have any issues with them besides the loudness of them. You could try and find a tube since it is similar to a Prisma just smaller.
