181  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BitCrane T-110S for $614! on: March 15, 2015, 04:57:19 AM
They do look nice and are probably silent I get why some would buy them. I think it is obviously not going to make any profit, but you can help support the network. To me those are conversation pieces for us nerdy folks.
182  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: most profitable pool on: March 15, 2015, 04:55:21 AM
I have been doing really good over at Kano's pool. Since the start we are 185 blocks and at 105% luck so far.

I really like the new stats that have been added. The Block Statistics addition is really nice!

All - Last 185 Blocks   95.62%   95.05%   0.2545   105.21% - Makes me very happy I mine here.
184  Economy / Goods / Re: Introducing the BitCryptCard on: March 14, 2015, 06:11:07 PM
This is cool but it will be hard to trust a brand new member with much of my BTC especially when there are some trusted alternatives out there... Also %20 seems a bit high don't you think?

Wow only 20% over spot  Roll Eyes Why would anyone even bother with those prices? I would love for a legitimate debit card to be released by someone like Coinbase.
185  Economy / Speculation / Re: Etherium.org launch to make Bitcoin price go UP? on: March 14, 2015, 06:07:12 PM
They will not help the prices at all move up or down. They actually were causing them to go down as they sold off their coins from IPO. I have no idea why people invested so much into that project  Huh
186  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Avalon4 with global shipping can be purchased here! on: March 14, 2015, 05:11:27 PM
If you guys could just come down a little bit these would sell like hotcakes. I have fairly cheap power, but when I run the numbers it just doesn't work for me. What about offering a large group buy to drive the price down some?

Im currently talkign with them trying to manage something. Will let you know if I get a nice reabte.  Grin

A group buy could be nice ??

If you will join the GB let me know to have a idea.

I would buy a few, but it all depends on prices per unit. If they can come down I would want up to 3 units total. I already have an old Raspberry Pi to use as controller. Have them get you a price on a batch of 50 / 100 / etc..
187  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: March 14, 2015, 03:34:18 AM
most likely the physical hardware was never stolen at all,  the farm was pointed somewhere else,  the question is why..

Makes no sense. This would require far more than a single rogue operative inside AM. ASICMINER has actual employees and a large mining infrastructure, not a single laptop controlling 5000+ miners.

Only thing we can be sure of is that whatever is going on is going to make one hell of a story.

All it probably took was someone redirecting the proxy server. When you have a large scale farm you obviously use a proxy to move them from pool to pool. I think until Mr FriedCat makes a reply we will never know.
188  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: I will be reviewing a new server psu+ breakout board. a few photos on: March 14, 2015, 03:31:47 AM
I am glad Philipma1957 is doing more types of reviews around here. I like all the pictures and can not wait to hear your review once it is done. I am most curious about the sound levels with these PSU.
189  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: March 13, 2015, 05:13:16 PM
I'm thinking about selling my SP30, currently in hosting (USA).

Do you think now would be a good time, because spondoolies is sold out? I've searched ebay, but couldn't find any SP30 (but several "new" SP31 for over $2700 - LOL).

Do you know what a good price would be?

I have seen them listed last week for $1600 shipped to the USA. Roadstress had them listed for sale and he seems to be pretty legit with Spondoolies. I wish I had the power to plug in one of them  Angry
190  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory shows wrong balances often on: March 13, 2015, 05:05:50 PM
Well I went ahead and loaded the newest core and newest Armory and now 2 months of transactions are MIA. I tried to re scan databases with no luck. Currently I have it rebuilding the database looks like it will take a lot of time. Any other suggestions to try? I really like Armory, but it has been flaky for me as of late.

Edit: the balances do show correct, but all the tx and comments are not showing.

Play with the wallet filter.

Oh wow that was it! Thank you for the help...I will be sending a donation  Cheesy

This is about the same time Spondoolies tech launched last year. Please follow in their footsteps and be just as good!

Free us from this Chinese oppression Cool

You might want to take a closer look at their logo..  Wink

I get that they are Chinese, but I hope they treat us better. My wording did fail though  Undecided

That would be a hard act to follow, but lets hope they are. Free us from this Chinese oppression so that we may make some sort of profits  Cool

Did anyone here see this written right on their main website page?
"An innovative hash rate rental platform."
Does it say they will be offering equipment to buy? I didn't see it.
I'm assuming this is ALL data-center cloud-mining, right?

I hope not  Huh I really wanted to see a competitor to Bitmain so they stop raising prices on us. Come on SFARDS you are our only hope!!

196  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Power Supply - EVGA G2 1000Watt or Corsair RM1000 Watt on: March 13, 2015, 04:36:50 AM
I would agree that versus the RM the EVGA is probably a little better. Both PSU are really good choices though. It would come down to prices for me to go 1 way or the other.
197  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory shows wrong balances often on: March 12, 2015, 02:05:06 AM
Armory : 0.29.3=Beta
Core .0.9.3
Windows 7 x64

I assume you mean 0.92.3... You should definitely upgrade to 0.93.x and see if it helps, since the whole backend has been overhauled in that version. It'll force a rescan, but 0.93 is much faster anyway, an it's also compatible with Core 0.10 (which syncs much faster too).

Alright I will give that a try then. Locking this thread.
198  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 12, 2015, 02:03:08 AM
How long can they keep these guys hooked on PayCoin? I have to wonder what % of those users are really paid shills at this point. No one can be that daft to think this scam has a chance??

So when you peel the sticker off of the back does it ruin it like on the Casascius coins?

They may be dicking us with raising prices, but at least they deliver good gear. Take a look at other Chinese ASIC companies these days. Has anyone gotten better prices for the next batch via a group buy? I know lee group had one up, but it seems to be on hold.
