So Great news, coinmarket.io appears to be back online again. I have checked and my personal coins are still there.

The amounts have since been withdrawn into 2 separate wallet addresses.

So why would bitcoins sent yesterday be under threat if the hack took place ages ago?

If I remember correctly the plan for coinmarket.io was to add more staff. The exchange was making decent enough profits for it not having to steal. In fact a lot of people were really positive about it but I do feel the exchange is short staffed for handling situations like this.

iCoinites any feedback on the android wallet?

Lets see what happens , unfortunately if coinmarket.io does not come back up it's just another step towards regulation.

One of our users also by mistake sent btc earlier today to his bitcoin wallet address on coinmarket.io, thought it was set to another exchange(bad mistake) transaction actually went through which means the wallet addresses are online still.

Now it's time to pray they are working hard to bring the exchange online.

Dev Update:

The Android Wallet will be made available by tomorrow for the iCoin Community to test and give feedback. Not to state the obvious but please use small amounts of coins to test with.

We have added under Key Metrics & Indicators section on the ANN.

Android Wallet testing is going pretty well at this stage, sent myself 5 iCoin and it took 7 minutes to come through. We will try improve that more by adding additional seeds.

The main thing is we almost ready for community beta testing.

I think after the next release we will definitely get community members to test it out, we can currently send and receive coins no problems .

Now it's just about cleaning up the code and ironing out the bugs.

General Mobile Wallet - investigating

Our Marketing department is now working full steam to get merchants to accept iCoin, however this is something everyone can take part in if you feel a opened minded merchant is ready
to accept virtual currencies. Coinpayments will assist any new Merchant in getting setup. As Bigridg7 mentioned above there will be a iCoin reward for your efforts as well as the same amount
for the Merchant to get started with.

I am very impressed with Poloniex so far, they even got a trollbox going and 24hr volume for all coins is over 300BTC now, I think this exchange is going to be big. Really happy we managed to get a spot on it.

I agree with OFLO1 too many exchanges will dilute iCoin far too much at this stage and we have to be picky! After Mintpal we will be fine with exchanges and as you suggested acquiring merchants
and marketing is our number 1 priority.

Now that we on coinpayments, we are looking for more votes for Mintpal, this is a new exchange that already has high volumes... +- 400btc traded a day across all currencies.

We going to make the iCoin community tired by the time we done, but it will all be worth it!
