Now that we on coinpayments, we are looking for more votes for Mintpal, this is a new exchange that already has high volumes... +- 400btc traded a day across all currencies. Wow, very nice! Especially the first one. I don't like the fonts though. I think all iCoin videos / banners etc need to have that sexy Proxima Nova font. |

Videos look nice. I like video 1, although people might think DEERcoin changed its name to iCoin. Ha ha. just kidding. All are good. font in video 3 could be cleaner. Video 2 would be awesome, extended a bit, but its obviously going to be the logo reveal for future longer videos, and it will be a very nicely made intro. Kudos to whoever is putting these together!

Thank you to everyone who is now helping with mintpal.com voting. Its helping alot! We gained knowledge of it last week at around 250. Took us a week to get to 575. Now in a day we are just at 700. If we can keep this up, and recruit some family and friends, we will have this one won in no time.

Hi people This is actually my first post on this forum and I am not new to crypto. I have been mining bitcoin in late 2011 with my HD5770. What was the reason which force me to write one?...iCoin obviously. Actually imho, nothing new in coinworld but, as others said, great NAME and people behind it with plan. I would suggest you, if I can, not to go to as many exchanges as you can, it will harm coin. Instead of that better to focus on reaching people and merchants. Go public without complexes. This is what this coin need. Exchanges are not so important especially at the beginning of the trip. Viperbass, BigRidg7, TeamICoiN you are great for the whole thing around iCoin at the moment and I believe you will be in the future. Captainhook is a little bit shady cause he is bussy as the main dev should be I believe. I am happy even with your premine and you know why? Because without it you all wouldn't be able to do a lot. With this you can be full focused on iCoin plan and have a big motivation behind. Remember, that with premined coins you are hostages of iCoin and I hope you take us in place right behind BTC and LTC. Good luck iCoin cause we need it. See you next year  OFLO1...adapter not found |

I am quite surprised that the network hash is still only at about 175-200mh/s on average. Considering... where you have something like mooncoin at 3680mh/s.... lol obviously current profitibilty is there due to block rewards vs price, but people need to place more speculative value into their mining choice.

I am very impressed with Poloniex so far, they even got a trollbox going and 24hr volume for all coins is over 300BTC now, I think this exchange is going to be big. Really happy we managed to get a spot on it.
I agree with OFLO1 too many exchanges will dilute iCoin far too much at this stage and we have to be picky! After Mintpal we will be fine with exchanges and as you suggested acquiring merchants
and marketing is our number 1 priority.

If those speculative people are using Coinwarz to identify their mining choice, this might be effecting their thoughts. iCoin is listed there against the exchange coinmarket.io that has been out of action for the week. This has two effects; the first is that it is showing a lower price than iCoin was last traded at and so impacts the value and rating, the second is that the perception may be that iCoin can't be traded as the exchange is down. Both may have a negative effect on the number of miners involved. How does Coinwarz choose which exchange to use for price reference? In terms of those exchanges where iCoin is traded and there are other coins listed on Coinwarz using the same exchange, looks like the only one up there right now is Poloniex. |

We really happy with the progress that has been made with iCoin over the last 2 weeks and we can't stress enough that this is just the beginning.
Future Plans:
1. Getting onto coinpayments - We will also have a special announcement to make when the vote is over.
2. Adding Merchants
3. Monitor Kimoto Gravity Update
4. Release Android wallet for testing
5. Getting onto more exchanges.
Coinwarz will also be added in there somewhere Just to feedback on what's been achieved since this post. 1.Getting onto coinpayments - Complete 2.Adding Merchants - High Priority 3.Monitor Kimoto Gravity Update - Complete 4.Release Android wallet for testing - In testing 5.Getting onto more exchanges - Ongoing Coinwarz added. We will also be updating the website to list the merchants that start accepting iCoin so you start having use for them. General Mobile Wallet - investigating Our Marketing department is now working full steam to get merchants to accept iCoin, however this is something everyone can take part in if you feel a opened minded merchant is ready to accept virtual currencies. Coinpayments will assist any new Merchant in getting setup. As Bigridg7 mentioned above there will be a iCoin reward for your efforts as well as the same amount for the Merchant to get started with. |
