Quite a few aren't launched yet, most are not in exchanges, the ones that are have a 24h volume < 1BTC... Lame. lol. Something for the future though for sure. While I hate how hard it is to mine DRK right now, I'd rather that than mine scrypt with my elec bill.

What we really need is a multipool / switcher pool which mines the most profitable X11 coin and pays out in DRK. Yes please. I never want to mine scrypt again, and won't.
Yeah, but I don't think there are enough x11's out there to satisfy the hash power.... could be wrong. Cool would be a scrypt multipool that payed out in DRK's. Thing is, I wouldn't point my miner there. Scrypt is over for me too! * CATicoin - x11 * Badgercoin - x11 * Edgecoin - x11 * Einsteinium Emc2 - looking to switch from Scrypt to x11 * ElectronicYen - x11 * Electronic LIRA - x11 and DGW * Emirates Coin - x11 * GiveCoin - x11 * Global Denomination - x11 * Groestlcoin - DGW * H20Coin - DGW * HashCoin - X11 and DGW * HighFiveCoin - x11 and users voted to add DGW * Hirocoin - x11 * Frycoin - added DGW to fix problems with KGW * Juggalocoin - x11 * Limecoin - x11 and DGW * Logicoin X11 and DGW * MaruCoin - DGW * Muniti - x11 * Nyancoin - switching algo to x11 * Quebecoin - x11 and DGW * RAP(e)COIN - DGW * Rotocoin - DGW * SummerCoin - x11 (after vote on others) * TwilightCoin - x11 and DGW * VirtualCoin - x11
that's better two are PoS summer and badger Looks like enough coins to me! I could be wrong. Either way, X11 is the new algo for sure, so we should only expect to see new coins added frequently.

Suchpool have been screwing me over CONSTANTLY !!
Also, please someone please name a coins that is more profitable than DRK!? At half the electric cost I can't find any
Try out p2p. Not sure where you're located, but could try my p2p pool. Based in LA, super fast for anyone in East Coast, Internap Optimized Network for law latency and low rejects. 0.5% Fee http://66.55.90.47:7903/static/Recommended settings: ./sgminer -k darkcoin -o stratum+tcp://66.55.90.47:7903 -u WALLET -p x My electric isn't cheap, so I like x11 coins and love DRK of course. But yeah...low rewards. I would be open to another x11 coin, and sell for DRK.

Ok, I have verified it works.
Start darkcoind on remote machine. On your local machine specify the IP at launch with -masternodeaddr=YOUR_SERVER_IP Unlock your local machine wallet with your passphrase. On your local machine, ./darkcoind masternode start
Slickness indeed.
So you have to keep it running on another machine, presumably your home machine, with the wallet unlocked? You don't have to keep your local machine's wallet unlocked permanently, or even open. Once the remote machine master node starts you can close the local machine's wallet and hide it away for safe keeping. I look forward to this being officially explained with tutorial. But thanks for this! But if we need 1000DRK on our local machine, or another server, to get the main master node running (which has 0 DRK), .... what is there to stop us making multiple nodes with empty wallets from one set of 1000 DRK. All I can think is we need the 1000DRK wallet to start each empty master node running. Then use a different wallet with 1000DRK locally to fire up another one. I look forward to understanding more lol.

Im official the worst day trader haha. Lost 4 DRK trying to sell and buy back.
4 DRK? I'm at a couple thousand lost right now. Think I will never trade DRK again, I have nothing but terrible luck with it. This market just doesn't make any sense to me and seems to operate against all logic. No news - price doubles. RC2 testing - price drops 30%. I'll just hold what I have left and forget trying to make more from trading it. edit : market aside DRK is a great coin and really the only one I care to deal with long term, but F day trading it. ah crap, sorry to hear that. Yeah just 4 DRK, I only sold 40, so lost 10%, scrambled to buy it back again. Rest of my stash is on a couple of masternodes, so safely away from my crappy trading hands. Makes no sesne to me either, I can only assume most people who are trading are just trading from sight, rather than RC2 news etc.

Ammmmazing! Does this mean we should update our master nodes to RC2?

Hey guys, I just installed a fresh wallet on my windows PC, and also on to unix.
Both are having problems finding any live nodes. I'm wondering if the node seed server is pointing to a bunch that are down? They all look to be in the 192.99 area and also 162.252 area. Also ALL have been down for 114.3 or 114.6 Hrs. Looks like they might be the official nodes? Or alteast where the seed node points people.
I fixed it on my windows PC by using my peers file from my main windows PC. I'll probably fix my unix one by doing similar.
BUT thinking about all the newbies out there who are new to DRK and getting their clients installed, without it finding any connections.
Maybe Evan or InternetApe can take a look? Cheers
Update: Yup, replacing the peers.dat worked a charm, connections right away.
Main nodes which the seed node points too must ALL be down, nearly 5 days.

My wallet quit syncing. I tried adding a .conf with addnode's but nah-dah. What is the fix? I even tried connection to tor. literally the timer is going backwards. It says syncing but it's not. That coin has been unconfirmed for 16 hrs. Did you try with latest client.....delete ALL but wallet.dat? Esentially starting fresh, but keeping your wallet of course. Get rid of blocks etc

I just dumped my last BC, and put it all into DRK, rounding out another 1,000 DRK . = another master node! sorry, had to share my excitement!

Looks like someone just launched a new "Xcoin". https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=580444.0For those who don't know, that was DarkCoins original name. Which merged with another xcoin I believe. ......now there is another xcoin, looking like a potential IPO scam, just what we need.

It just passed Vertcoin. As exciting as these pumps are, I hope panic buying phase gets over to stabilize at these levels for a bit. I think many are finally getting impressed by the community around the coin. Last few pages have been great read with lots of new ideas from new posters.
Still going to say MORE MASTERNODES please. The network should stand out making it impossible to duplicate down the road for any cloners.
Next person to quote petecamey gets on my ignore list and I have never used that before (not even for hyungsukmom, LuvAnonCoin et al)
I'll be glad to set up a masternode. But I need an idiots guide to put it up on an amazon instance or something like that. My first masternode is up and running, firewall protected. I'm planning on setting up my second master node very soon with full DDOS protection. But I don't want to invest in this cost too early before the masternode payments start. But I feel that should hopefuuly be soon. So getting ready to launch. I can't get the thought of DarkSend being a laughing stock and falling on it's face due to the nodes being DDOS'ed.... It's a classic thing where action will be taken too late.

Awesome job! Awesome awesome awesome. Very happy to see this out So I guess now is the time to try and get as much press as we can?! I KNOW we have all had a hard time not shouting from the hilltops about DarkCoin and DarkSend until it was ready, so we should have a lot of excited people ready to spread the word. Side note: The front page of this thread hasn't been updated to add the RC1 release on the "DarkSend Progress Reports:" section.

Is there a way I can delete my account completely from lotterymining beforehand or are you going to wipe all the hard drives after shutdown? Just checking just because these days there's always too much dead information floating around that could come back to people and I'd just feel more comfortable erasing it all. That is, unless it came back as an X11 multipool miner that autobought dark each day. Then maybe keep the accounts for an easy transition.
dont worry, the server is going to be reinstalled and be used for project "Dark Ice" ... Dark Ice? Sounds nice. Everyone is hoping it's a multipool for buying up DRK. Time will tell. If it is, I hope there is an x11 mining option. Scrypt, no thanks.

Ugh... domain squatters are the worst. We don't need a separate donate anyhow. Much better to have a subdomain on the official domain. http://foundation. nice and easy, and there is no way in doubting its "officialness" when it's a subdomin and part of the official domain. Btw, I found some spare cash, and just put in an order for 500 more DRK + updated my node to RC1. Exciting times ahead!

New coin symbol/logo text looking good at www.darkcoin.ioStill too many big scary words underneath it though. To be frank, I think the whole page needs to be rebuilt from the ground up. The background especially needs to go. New logo is looking AWESOME! Love that! Tbh I don't mind that background, but the page gets worse as you scroll down.

As stated before i had to Reset the pool because of the fork, so the wallet is Fresh and New, i have purged all the Balance before the swap, so If there were any coins for your account left, You should have them in your wallet, If not, message me and I will try to lookup the Transaction and hope it is not on the wrong fork
Thanks for the reply. I have been mining since the first day, user ID 61, and have been mining 24/7. All my coins before block 2439 are gone. My personal wallet wasn't entered so I didn't receive any payouts.
