I feel that once you get the whole Anonymous transactions and things working, it will be a unique coin with more appeal and more news worthy.

Hows that coming along?

Cheers for the help guys.

I get this during the autogen.  I suspect this is what is causing the problems.

automake: object file(s) will be placed in the top-level directory.  However,
automake: this behaviour will change in future Automake versions: they will
automake: unconditionally cause object files to be placed in the same subdirecto                    ry

automake: You are advised to start using 'subdir-objects' option throughout your
automake: project, to avoid future incompatibilities.

Ah cool, many thanks!

I'm getting similar errors.

xcoin.c:110:2: warning: right shift count >= width of type [enabled by default]
xcoin.c:110:2: warning: right shift count >= width of type [enabled by default]
xcoin.c:110:2: warning: right shift count >= width of type [enabled by default]
mv -f .deps/minerd-xcoin.Tpo .deps/minerd-xcoin.Po
gcc -std=gnu99  -O3 -msse2 -msse4 -pthread  -o minerd minerd-cpu-miner.o minerd-

When I did the config, it complained about files in sub folders or something.

when trying to run it says "Illegal instruction (core dumped)"

Cheers! The new faster miner sounds good.  But how do we know it's legit? Sorry for my suspicions, but it seems you have to be now days.  Looks like a different gitt.

Cheers Coolstoryteller!

I actually did something very similar before I read your reply, but your method might be better. Cheers again!
1608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DRK] DarkCoin | First Anonymous Coin (cpu only) on: January 29, 2014, 03:04:51 AM
So the normal minerd won't work because of the x11?

Can this be mined in unix?

Edit: Ah looks like you can build it, giving that a try.

The dev team really need to wake up!

There are tons of alt coins, but this one has already taken off and has a good chance!

I started mining 5 days or so ago, the difficulty was 900, it's already risen to 3698.
1611  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [DIME] Dimecoin | Many Coins | Step Reward | CPU mining on: January 27, 2014, 08:48:31 PM
I'm happy that I'm now mining away again.

As mentioned about, zcoins is now online again.  And cheers for forkpool.

1613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [DIME] Dimecoin | Many Coins | Step Reward | CPU mining on: January 27, 2014, 06:31:16 PM
Will do chad.  At the very least I'll get a quick one up ony one of my VPS. See how it works, then look to launch if properly. I can give info before then.  It seems most pool software is setup for litecoin rather than quark based. But will give it a shot.
1614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [DIME] Dimecoin | Many Coins | Step Reward | CPU mining on: January 27, 2014, 05:39:11 PM
Woke up to find I've not been mining the last 4 hours!

All pools seem to be down!  Anyone found one which is working?  I'm not sure how to local mine.

Edit, tempted to launch my own mining pool....
1615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [DIME] Dimecoin | Many Coins | Step Reward | CPU mining on: January 25, 2014, 06:53:55 AM

Loving this coin.

I downloaded the qt, but it isn't connecting to any block sources, 0 connections.  Do I need to configure anything first?

Cheers guys.
