hi i mine on suprnova ( 18MHs+-) and i only getting 1/2 coins what i should ( aroun 8-9 coin per hour) its that right?
and i cant find way how to regg on BTC38, when i swap to english site its send m to facabook login....
and isnt 18 mhs for 2x1060 low? should i use older drivers or?
can someone help pls?...

Also not sure what you're trying to say. It sounds like you're somewhat bragging over the amount of orphans that are reported with the latest commit. If 30% of all blocks are orphans, then there is something fundamentally wrong with the coin to begin with. Because that's what it looks like - about 30% at best - of all blocks are orphans. That shouldn't be the case. Yet it is. The orphans are due to the excessive time it takes the wallet to accept new blocks, which in turn is due to trie processing. There is a bounty for fixing it (see post #2) and I'm on it as well (even though I prefer other people to work on the bounties, so I can focus on other things). |

I'm a miner, I provide a shitload of hashrate for the coin. I don't compile wallets or miners myself. So feel free to compile and share the latest commit if you'd like me to use it and if you feel that it has something new worth using and I will. I guess all that hashrate you provide to us is for free :-) oh I forgot, there is block reward :-D I don't do windows builds because I have no windows machines and little knowledge about that OS. |

Speed 220 Mh, SuprNova give about 3200-3400 XCN for 24 hours. So, we have about 14.5 XCN per 1 Mh  So we're better off holding all our XCN instead of selling some of it, because last I checked Bter had less volume and lower prices. I've got something like 1100MH/s and I'm getting around 16.000 XCN per day from Suprnova (only tried it 36 hours though, been solo mining when it wasn't working) so that amounts to somewhere close to 14.5 XCN per MH/s. So yes, that seems about right. There has to be something other going on though, because at times, Suprnova has had close to 70-90% of the whole net hash, yet it always has 130%+ luck. Seems like 30% is always disappearing somewhere. I had the exact same issue when solo mining. Pretty much no orphans, close to no rejected yet still about 130% luck. Of course, that was "only" during three weeks, but with close to the same luck every day over three weeks, that does say something. And again, don't say orphans, because there were pretty much none. which pools are you using guys?
im mining sigt on suprnova.cc... but it showes me 10-20% lower hashrate than ccminer....
I think hashrate shown in suprnova is totally false, don't bother ith that, it's reported miner's hashrate who matters You get paid according to the pool hashrate, now please tell me what matters. |

Payouts working, it's all right ;-) I checked again: none of the 4 payouts that I should have received is on my wallet, so beware. Back to suprnova for now. Very sorry, we're on it already, it seems the wallet needs a string for payouts, not a number like all the other coins. We've reached out to ocminer but didn't get a reply so far.. All the payments will be fixed and paid as soon as this works ! |

Pallas, I'm not familiar with the algorithm, but there is a part of it that is more mem-heavy, considering it shows some 6-7% mem usage. Take blake2s or plain skein - they don't even show 1%, and are completely memory speed independent, and very heavy on the core.
Skunk so far shows small fast changes in power consumption leading to overall lower consumption compared to pure skein, for example. It's obvious by cards temps too.
People that have problems don't use locks on the voltage/frequency curve and rely on the PL...
that's because skunk is chained: there is a little memory usage to keep the hashes from a kernel call to the other. But no ram usage by the kernels themselves. Just like x11, for example. |

What do you think how much more time Signatum can be mined in days?
The blocktime is around 2minutes. So around 720 blocks per day. 130 days of mining total? The coin was launched 12 days ago. And once SIGT leaves POW, it's the end for mining coins with this algo ? I mean, SIGT is the only one on raptor algo ? It's the first one, but there will be more, considering it's GPU only and low on power consumption compared to some other algorithms. there are two possible reasons why an algo is "low on power consumption": - it is not optimised enough - it is memory heavy (with random access) none of the two can be said about skunkraptor. it is just another algo, like tons out there. every now and then a new coin comes out with a mix of the same old base algos, just to instamine it a bit. |

Crazy to think there is 8-9 million worth of gear mining SIGT of all coins. The great altcoin crash of 20xx (insert date poloniex is kill) will be epic. Hopefully people put those GPUs on folding or something worthwhile to society after.

Just wanted to share here a little information I wrote on slack about wallet sync, as it seems it is not explained clearly elsewhere:
"
You can sync in two modes: from scratch or from a snapshot.
From scratch is the fastest as it syncs headers only, then blocks for the last week + the trie; usually takes about 1 hour or a little more. this way you have less disk usage because you are making use of the mini-blockchain feature. trie sync is not perfect and may fail: we speculated there might be some bad or malicyous clients making it loop then crash.
From snapshot you will have a full blockchain on disk and it's solid, but takes time as it will download full blocks since the snapshot. The client is slow when accepting new blocks because of the trie update which is complex and not optimised yet.
If you go for the "from scratch" mode, and you interrupt it while it initially syncs, the trie may break and you will need to reset your blockchain (running with -resync or going for the snapshot mode).

don't use this software, it's obsolete. look for newer sgminers. Hi pallas, lately "everybody" is mining Ethash or Equihash coins..me myself also. Whats the best X11 miner these days? I haven't been following X11 coins for long long time, can you pls recommend best miner nowdays (nvidia and AMD)? Thanks!! An asic by far. |
