ok, getting this last test of cards...
390(8gb) = 10.87
7970(3gb) = 8.8
7790 (1gb) = 3.97
sols
thought I mite see more out of the 390. Seen some post higher and some the same or so..
May try a 6870 just for fun, probably have driver issues....
Seems most cards will hash on this miner. I am running on all rigs the latest AMD drivers.
Yet to test 7950's, 380 and 380x, 280x's and 290's and 480's (8gb)
For the heck of it I tested a couple of 380's. At 1100/1500, 256/8192 they each pull a meager 7.8 Update: I put 16.10 AMD drivers in the zcashclient folder, deleted the existing .bin, rebuilt the .bin and now I am getting 10.4 at stock 1040/5800.

Wolf0,
I get the following with a couple of Tongas:
"error parsing version string from clGetDeviceInfo. This should never happen"
Does this miner work with 380s?

Hello, anyone have some improvements on R9 280X?
Mine does only 9,5 Sol/s
IF someone have config that can help please?
W7 here with crimson 15.12 driver
That's about what I'm getting on average. I have played with core/mem and worksize/threads and best seems to be 950/1500, 256/8192. I attempted to put 16.10 dlls into the folder after deleting the initial .bin file and got no appreciable difference from 15.12.

what is the proper syntax for using powertune +20 for 2 cards?
I can't seem to get it to be recognized with:
powertune = ["20", "20"];
Try: powertune = ["+20", "+20"]; Nope, no change. Still reports as -1

what's wrong?
nheqminer_x64_SSE2 -l zec.suprnova.cc:2142 -u ari.1 -p x -t 4
looks good, which error do you get ? Nah, he's using the Nicehash miner, not the one you modified for suprnova.

Out of curiosity, I dl'd the NiceHash miner and ran a benchmark (75% of cores) on my i7-4790K: Equihash CPU Miner for NiceHash v0.1b Thanks to Zcash developers for providing most of the code Special thanks to tromp for providing optimized CPU equihash solver
Setting log level to 0 Benchmark starting... this may take several minutes, please wait... Benchmark done! Total time : 18778 ms Total hashes: 100 Total solutions found: 200 Speed: 5.32538 H/s Speed: 10.6508 S/s What are any of you getting? It's a bit variable.. i'm getting 4-5 H/s on my i7 2600 @ 3.4GHz with 8GB of Ram Edit: Now it's stable, its 4.8 H/s Thanks, I'd like to find out what the AMD FX Octocore series is getting. Like a FX-8350 Black Edition or near there.

The same settings as zcash-miner? (-stratum=stratum+tcp://zec.suprnova.cc:2142 -user=Weblogin.Worker -password=Worker password) I think this soft is only working on nicehash. You can use your hosts file to redirect the host to the pool, i'll give instructions shortly but yes.. it's primarily targeted for nicehash where you then can point the hash to the pool Bwahahaha, I luv it.

getting this error on one of my 9 rigs:

Anybody understand what it means?

I've added Nicehash Stratum to https://etc.suprnova.cc which also supports Claymore by using: ./ethdcrminer64 -epool etc-eu.suprnova.cc:3333 -ewal suprnova.1 -epsw x -esm 3 -allpools 1 -allcoins 1Let me know if you have any problems or if its working fine. Works fine with 5.1, NOT 4.5

if btc dumps anytime in within next 24/48hours, it will be a huge dump...40%-60% is possible...ETH will double up instantly....those that miss buying ETH now will buy dao as it will give back 10/1 ratio to ETH. Dao has become a second chance for those that dumped ETH and miss the train when it takes off. The bitcoin dump already happened. The bitcoin price will be around $650 for the next few weeks. Eth could also be stable. I tend to agree with this, too. But I expect BTC to explode by early next year. Not because of anything it does, rather because of the USD crashing. Yes, I guess I am a DoomTard.

Yeah, right, like I want to help a proven CENTRALIZED government utilize the ONE thing that can be used to break free and rely LESS on.
No thanks, BigGov. You had your chance and you succumbed to laziness, greed and avarice like all the former great empires.

I am in the triple digits and have been for years. That's all you get from me. HODL!

XFX is excellent for mining. It has just two fans, and use little electricity by the fans.
Why reducing the memory frequency will freeze your GPU?
I have too many XFX 280x's. I can barely undervolt by 50 before freezing issues start up. Other than that, I love their lifetime warranty. They've exchanged many coolers and recently just had 2 GPUs replaced with Tongas (380x), paid for shipping only. How can you beat that?

Clocks most certainly do change temps. I have several gigabyte wf3 280x with fixed voltage and the temp increases with clock, higher clock = more power draw = more heat.
I undervolt those same cards to 950 then mine ETH with 875/1250 for maximum savings. Still gets over 19 M/s that way. I guess u have hynix mem? My cards have elipdia and barely break 19Mh/s @ 1100/1500 Yeah, they're Hynix. I had to do a lot of shopping and reselling to find those.
