adaseb, This is the existing modified ROM from a Sapphire Dual-X HD 7970 3G OC with boost GPU, Hynix AFR memory, I have attempted to follow the Russian video and I get this far: After finding all five of the 77 71 hex incidences I copy the strings between them, and immediately after the last one to give me: 3320000000008CC5583170550F10251F17050048C40022CC1C00640B14204A8900A000000120120D202532202614

my reports have all been with -i 1 when I increase to -i 2 obviously the 7970/280xs get more, but also more power usage and errors

Also, Tonga, 380 now get 75 Sols/s sy 1040/1400
What the driver on you PC? HotFix 15.12, but I just removed it to test and is same with 16.61 16,6,2 or 16.9.2 give me please link on you driver 16.6.1

7970s and 280x with 1050/1500 1100 pulling 95 sol/s all with HotFix 15.12 AMD drivers way faster than SA 5 but in fairness pulling about 50 watts more per GPU

In fact, wrong checksum on memory timings doesnt matter, So i force flash it with atiflash from command prompt.
P.s. i also have some msi 280x, didnt check which memory is inside, But bios is larger than on older 280x/7970 (they put new serial flash ic in, its double the size), Modding gave me some solid results, should be good for your card, too. (Sustained 80+ sols/s).
@others, dont flash this bios randomly. It's gonna brick your cards. It's only for mentioned msi card.
Have anice day.

How would I know which strap is tight? Basically we are just copying the timings of the tight strap to the other strap but which one? As I can see backreading thru the work of the Stilt, he edited hex to be tight but not just copy pasting the lower tight strap to the higher strap. Thanks. This is the same question I have. On the HD 7970 I mentioned above there are 5 timings for the Hynix AFR. On my GPU the 3rd and the 4th timing have identical hex code. The last is different. I copied the 3rd and replaced the 5th with it. Not much change actually. I am sure that I am missing something and that is why I asked for someone to mod my original from the link above.

I give with option "i 2" in my bat file this results ? can i change my bat file to get more hashrate ?
Zcash mining + claymore 4
R9 390x = 97-100 H/s
R9 280X = 40-42 H/S
R9 380 = 65-70 H/s
I'm fairly sure that you have the 280x and 380 backwards up there.

Here's an original ROM from a Sapphire HD 7970 3G OC w boost, Hynix AFR: https://filetea.me/t1sPYG8i8RVRfue3wnGq2XLXgIf anyone can mod it for me I'd love to compare the two with TheStilt mods I have and report back to this thread.

Yes. Claymores miner does work for zclassic but currently not as profitable. Tested on 3.1.
I need help resolving high latency shares currently getting avg. 500ms on US servers regardless of pool.
I am in the midwest USA and zcl.suprnova.cc:4042 is at 187ms and that is through a VPN! my whattomine link shows ZCL as more profitable than ZEC.

Claymore
Had a crash while I was sleeping on my 290 rig.
Not much in the log but it looks as the gpus started crashing, watch dog restarted them a few times and finally crashed out completely.
pfft, next time try sleeping on a bed!

So I tried some of these out on a rig with 4 Gigabyte 280x Windforce, 3 had Elpida, 1 with Hynix. This rig was getting cumulatively .266 Mh/s with TheStilt ROM mods from the GPUs. This rig also has an AMD FX 8350 8 core processor and using nheqminer_v0.3a was also getting about 14 H/s using 6 or the 8 cores. So, .280 total.
After modding each GPU with Gigabyte 280x and Elpida EDW2032BBBG as appropriate, and with the GIGABYTE 7970 with HYNIX AFR Memory for the other 280x with Hynix (yes, it works) the rig with 925/1375 1094 mV on each GPU the rig from the GPUs got .270 Mh/s. So not much of an improvement over TheStilt ROMs.
I noticed more CPU usage with these mods as well. So I shut down the nheqminer for the CPU and reevaluated. The rig now gets .287 on average. So it seems that there is no reason to run a separate miner for the CPU, at least for this rig, now.

Claymore, really nice job. Just a general question: You have hard coded the dev fee pools to be active, 90 seconds an hour, right? You also have failover activated for the dev fee, too. Do you limit the dev fee overall time per hour if your hardcoded pools are non-responsive?
If devfee mining thread cannot reach pool, main mining is not stopped at all. However, if it cannot connect for a couple of hours, entire mining will be stopped. Thanks for your prompt reply. I was just going through the logfile and noticed Dev Fee being longer than 90 secs.

Yeah, I needed a config or bat because my fans were not coming on at all. Have to set ideal gpu temp goal then min and max fan settings.
Getting 48 for 280x.
Thanks, Claymore!
