Does anyone know at what time will the release of Max Keiser's show be on RT.com tomorrow? Does he release the video before it airs?

I've slowly accumulated 6 figures of QRK this afternoon alone from the weak hands.  They will regret it.

Coin is setup to be slow in first 2 days Smiley

The initial blocks will contain small block rewards, gradually increasing to a full block reward over the course of 48 hours - so you won't have any large advantage from starting at exactly the right moment - don't panic over the first few blocks.

This reads like the dev means small MMC per block rewards.  Not fewer blocks.  So I am not entirely sure you are correct.  Some clarification would be helpful.

Long response time on support tickets
 With the massive increase in new users over the past week we are also receiving a huge number of support inquiries. We are ~ 4 to 5 days behind schedule. Please bear with us while we are working on the backlog.

Gee, where have I read that before?

Here is how you get the memorycoin.conf file to work in the correct directory on Windows 7...

Go to C:\Users\<YourUsernameHere>\AppData\Roaming\MemoryCoin\   (**do not include < > in your username folder) ###NINJA EDIT- The folder "AppData" is a hidden folder. If you do not see this folder perform the following from Windows 7... Control Panel -> Appearance and Personalization - > Folder Options (The little show hidden files link - This pops a window open, Click the check box for "Show Hidden files, folders and drives"

-This is the location that is where the memorycoin.conf file should be saved (keep in mind we are not saving this as a memorycoin.conf.txt - you will need to open in text editor/notepad and save as then choose "all files" in the drop down and save it as "memorycoin.conf")

Right-click -> New Text Document -> Save as memorycoin.conf

Edit this file and paste the following:

rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password
rpcport=1968

Relaunch your memorycoin-qt client. Mine is currently connecting from the computer I am typing on but on my second pc it is still stuck with bouncing 1 and 0 network connections. (I am going to try the config file there as well to confirm)

As of this morning all of my Cryptsy issues are solved.  Thank you Cryptsy.

Ditto.

Caveat Emptor!

Apparently my i7-860 does not support AES, so I can't mine these things. Sad

I'm beginning to think the same for me

I'm showing 42 blocks of transaction history and still nothing on the balance of my wallet.  It's been running for 30 minutes at 4 threads of 0.478 hpm.  Is this normal?  Processor is AMD Phenom II X4 940BE, Win 7-64.

Still have 0.00 in wallet.  Should I have started with cmd line switch differently?

Count me in with the OP.  I, too, am awaiting the release of my BTCs.  Filed a support ticket.  No response except the canned response that doesn't mean sh!t.  So, I am just supposed to wait?  What, like a victim?
893  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | Super secure hashing | CPU mining on: December 14, 2013, 04:05:07 PM
I heard that BTC38 servers would not be able to manage Quark's volume, so they decided to wait and upgrade the servers and add 2 lesser coins instead for now... Cheesy

BTC38 is a very small exchange.  They cannot handle Quark. The volume on Cryptsy of QRK alone is 10 times the whole volume on BTC38 atm.

Interesting to see them try though.

QRK needs a breather after such a crazy 20  days. With any luck the price will settle lower before the next leg of developments.

Settling lower is a bet you can take to the bank.  It is a given.  I'll try to buy back in around .00003.  Then sell the news.  I love this QRK.

So I downloaded this MyCoins gadget for Win 7 from http://domchi.cc/mycoins/index.htm

Installed it, no prob.  Now here's the hard part.  I can't get the darned thing to work!

I have tried the following API sources:

http://pubapi.cryptsy.com/api.php?method=singlemarketdata&marketid=QRK/BTC

and

https://bter.com/api/1/ticker/qrk_btc

Has anyone ever gotten this thing to work?  Your suggestion and sources are welcome.  Go QRK!

http://pubapi.cryptsy.com/api.php?method=singlemarketdata&marketid=QRK/BTC
is incorrect api usage.

You have to do it like this:

Open the QRK BTC chart:

https://www.cryptsy.com/markets/view/71

what is the number you see in the url?

71

this is the marketid

so you have to apply an api call like this:
http://pubapi.cryptsy.com/api.php?method=singlemarketdata&marketid=71

and it works.

I appreciate your input.  But when pasting your data into the gadget, it still doesn't work.  On an aside, I do have the BTC and LTC gadgets working, so I am not in totally new territory here.

Isn't the coin going to be 'finished' with it's minability sometime soon? Won't that affect the value?
1 million coins to be mined per year, after initial 250 or so million, for inflation.
898  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | Super secure hashing | CPU mining on: December 11, 2013, 01:32:15 PM
For the love of all that is good, we desperately need a new exchange. Cryptsy is a steaming pile of shit that should be put out of its misery. I was just looking to buy some more QRK and I see sell orders at 0.00019000 and buy orders at 0.00023220 - what a joke.

I can't even imagine where the price will be if an exchange the caliber of BTC-e or Bitstamp enabled people to trade QRK.

Just goto to bter.com.  I moved all mine there.  Fast.  No problems.
899  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | Super secure hashing | CPU mining on: December 11, 2013, 12:57:35 AM

Why are there so many Quark haters? They all jealous they didn't get in early?... news flash... its still EARLY!
[/quote]

I agree it is not too late. In the next few weeks QUARK will rise to prices close to Litecoin. That is a lot of upside so get in now.

Why will QRK go up so much?? Chinese exchange btc38 and the media attention that is forthcoming.
[/quote]

Gnode.  Please see this chart in my post here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260031.msg3904215#msg3904215

How do you expect QRK with a volume 10 times that of LTC to even come close to the price of Litecoin?

I would like a logical answer.  Facts sell.  Hype creates future haters.

As an qrk investor, seeing this is so bad.

Dude, you even used my fake QRK Balance as an argument XD

Oh, man!  That is a riot!!!
