281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Neutron (NTRN) - Simple Staking, Medium Supply, Digital piggybank on: July 18, 2017, 07:06:54 AM
Its gonna do great. I just wish I wasn't dumb enough to buy NTRN on YoBit without checking the wallet first, lesson learned.

It's best to avoid yobit, just simply don't trade anything there, it's too risky, you never know which coin they block/delay (to infinity?).
282  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [HYP] HyperStake | Generous Reward Staking | Advanced Staking Controls & Wallet on: July 18, 2017, 05:39:37 AM

So just fired up my wallet last month after being dormant for over a year.
I forgot all about it as i sold most of my coin just before polo delisted.
jeeezus... syncing took like 3 days, even with bootstrap!...but whatever, all set now.
Didn't realize i still had some stakable coin!

Already hit two 1000 coin stakes. Nice!
so i guess i'll just leave the wallet open and bake 'n' stake then!
ahh yes!...i do love crypto in my old age..........
(its replaced a far more sinister addiction that's history, thank goodness) Grin Cheesy Wink

I have my wallet synced 12 days now. Deposited 2,5k Hyp, having the wallet unlocked for Pos, yet i dont get any stakes. If i go coin control/ select coins/ the age is allready 11.94 / and the Days to stake 999.00 Can i do something to fix it?

I have blocks of 20k hyp with age of 33 days and still didn't get stake reward, so yes, you can be patient Cheesy
283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [HYP] HyperStake | Generous Reward Staking | Advanced Staking Controls & Wallet on: July 17, 2017, 12:40:48 PM
This is the only coin where I see 100+ connections while staking (max I got was 120 I think), that's very impressive.
284  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: July 17, 2017, 12:38:42 PM
Please explain to me why the exchange "has" to increase its withdrawal fee to 3700x of the normal fee. I would understand a 10x, or even say 100x more fee but 3700x ?? I cannot understand that, can someone break (the technical part) it down ? What is the fee at cryptox.pl ? Cryptopia has Withdrawal Fee: 0.00002000 GBYTE. So it has 100x less than bittrex, 37x of normal fee, this is relatively acceptable. What bittrex does is theft in broad daylight. This has to change for real, sooner or later, just imagine if the price goes up, right now they charge 1~$ for withdrawal, (which is insane compared to 0.0002$ that is needed) so if GB reaches btc parity, you won't be able to withdraw anything below 5$ because it will be consumed as fee. Seriously, this is fucked up. Why nobody ever mentioned this here ?
I noticed the high fee too. I think it's simply the lack of competition: cryptox.pl is small, so most people choose Bittrex. You have to withdraw to get the 20% airdrop, so you're forced to pay the fee anyway. They do it because they can. Why wouldn't they? Trading volume isn't that big, they don't earn that much from it, and don't forget: if not for Bittrex, Byteball would be worth a lot less.
Compare this to Doge: Bittrex charges 2 Doge fee, which is a lot less than 2 MBYTE, even though Doge itself needs a higher fee than Byteball. But Doge has more competition. Give it time.

Well then we need to move from bittrex, I use cryptopia daily for more than a year, never had a problem with them, worst case was a delay of 10 minutes on a withdrawal. We should start using cryptopia, at least those who want to buy and withdraw small amounts, like 100$ or less, it makes no sense to use bittrex and pay 100x more fees than cryptopia has. How is cryptox.pl ? What withdrawal fees do they have ?
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] [WGR] | Wagerr | The Betting Blockchain | Bounties on: July 17, 2017, 07:13:20 AM
I dont think any altcoin is safe at this point. Probably best to throw everything into tether until the market bottoms out
wise comment.Everyone trying to hype up and comment like hodl hold Smiley all the coins would see dibs until august.

I guess nothing gonne be at August 1. Panic sellers might regret. What if it is just manipulation ?

It is manipulation but since crypto has so much dumb money (newcomers who have zero understanding of crypto, they just see how high it went in the TV / other media so they wanna get in on the profit), it's easy to spread fear and make them panic sell. Most people who panicked, did sell by now and they are buying back right about now Cheesy

is hyp supporting masternode
No, so far HYP does support masternodes tech. Just simple staking.

does not support masternode you mean.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: July 17, 2017, 06:29:14 AM
If people would quit using exchange addresses for faucets and other micro-payments, we wouldn't have that problem and it'd be cheaper.

Exchanges should talk to the faucets who are spamming them and find an off-chain solution. That's what I did when I found my dice site being spammed by tiny faucet payments. Instead of having to consolidate thousands of worthless dust payments each day like I used to have to, now I provide an API to the faucet such that they can instantly debit their own account and credit the faucet user's account. It saves the faucet transaction fees when making the payments, it saves me transaction fees when tidying up their mess, and it makes the payments instant. win/win/win.

The price is falling like a rock... anything went wrong? On the flip side, this may be a good opportunity to load up. I like the features of this coins and the fairness in distributing coins.

yeah, people are panicking to sell btc for fiat, soon you'll see regret and fomo.

BTW, did bittrex go mad ? 2 MB withdrawal fee when I sent to bittrex for 541byte ? They are charging 3700x more than needed ? WTF ?
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: July 16, 2017, 03:26:44 PM
WOW, buying in at .24 and .20 doesn't look like a good idea anymore. Since I am new to this coin, can someone tickle my ears a bit, with a ray of hope? I can feel my weak hands starting to give out and dropping this. Only thing holding me back is that I hate selling at a loss. However, I hate getting left holding the bag even more.  Roll Eyes

I sent half of my stash to bittrex, was ready to dump it into the 0.15 400GB buy order but I just couldn't click the sell button.. this is the coin I believe the most in, with the coming shitstorm of august 1, I believe in byteball more than btc. Now it's 0.18, I could sell it and pray people panic enough to dump it to ...0.12? I could do that but if people realized what I did and see how good this is compared to the top20 coins, then they won't sell and I just fucked myself over because of greed. The only thing that makes me scared is the buy wall, people either don't know about this coin or they all pray that others will dump their "free coins" so they could buy it up at 50% discount.

On the other hand, look at the sell orders. Not much, 52 BTC (bittrex) almost doubles the price (0.32), so this make me think that people actually understand the potential of byteball, very fast transactions, 0.00017$ fees (with current price, if byteball did 100x and btc stayed at current price, fees would be 1 cent USD) constant quality development / bugfixing and new features monthly or so. I believe by this time next year, we will have huge market cap, buy orders not at 100-200BTC but thousands.

Got my wallet forked while staking, twice in a week, don't know what to do with it. Every time it happens, I have to sync up on a windows machine and copy it to my staking linux mint. There is a bug in the linux wallet that causes this, how to check what causes this ?

292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: July 15, 2017, 04:29:25 PM
how about since next round  we have 30% to byteball holder?

it's more fair to byteball holder, seems a lot exchange address have linked with byteball..

that free byteball will drive the price went down. Smiley
Its more important to make less amount for bitcoin wallets.

its pointless now. original btc holders got a chunk of gb which gets compounded with 20% as bytes. coins needed to be marked somehow to show which were generated from btc and which from bytes.

if tony wants more new bytes in new hands he'll have to get creative. id honestly recommend after this round he halts or reduces it to like 1% to allow byteball to grow in use. the coins great but its getting a name for being airdrop free cash and once airdrops are over if it doesnt have a big use through services it'll work against it. its going to fast unnatural even. it needs to slow down and mature. of course the majority of you will disagree because you just want free coins to turn into bitcoin. am i right?

Im with this statement....

Byteball is known for airdiops and nothing more.

If this wont change we will see slow death after each airdops.

Byteball is known for airdrops and nothing more ? BB has tonych, who is one of the best devs in crypto, ( I'd say best because I never seen anyone work as hard/fast/good but obviously I can't know them all ) also you can't show me any other coin that works this fast and has so many features coming out every month since it started. Most people who just come for free coins and dump they have no idea about the quality of this coin, those who were here from the beginning, know this is the shit.

Hey, new to this coin, I downloaded this http://downloads.truckcoin.net/trk_linux_blockchain_1022527.tar.gz (2017 version) but it fails to load with the windows wallet and even with linux mint (I compiled wallet from src), then I downloaded this http://downloads.truckcoin.net/trkbootstrap.tar.gz and it loaded a lot, like an hour with fast PC and SSD, in the end it opened with blocks from 2015 october.. Is there some newer bootstrap ?

edit: the sync is really slow, got 12 connections and after about 2 hours, it only synced up to 2015 december..

hi, I got my masternode running since yesterday and I think it is running ok. The only thing I find strange is that I saw my IP listed in the nucleus node count before, and now it is gone. Is this normal?

your IP has to be there or go to help-debug-console type masternode list, copy paste that into a text and search for your IP, if it has 1 in the end it works, 0 is inactive.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: July 15, 2017, 11:14:58 AM
I had a look at the transition page to see the amount of bitcoins linked. It has dropped from 949k during the previous round to 819k currently.
Looks like people have moved their bitcoins around quite a bit. Or maybe some have sold out their coins due to the current uncertainty.

I think many people are selling btc for fiat because btc will drop to 1300 usd in the next 14days.

fork is cominng
I thought it was excessive, I'll buy some of the bitcoin if prices drop to $1300. But I hope this does not affect the price of byteball.

lol..after the end round bb will dip at 1$  Cheesy..this communauty is the worst than i never view on this forum..they all think that all is their due when it is nothing..they will be the biggest loser because they have swollen with pride.

you should probably see a Dr about that....

I don't know what kind of doctor can help him, if he said 100$ maybe, but 1$ ? that's like trying to resurrect a vegetable Smiley)
296  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PEPE][MEME] PepeCoin - Kekdaq.com - 2.4.1.2 MN Wallet Release on: July 15, 2017, 08:30:09 AM
OP has to be edited to contain only relevant information, not stuff from 2 years ago. Need a working block explorer, the OP has 3 but none of them on the new active chain. The sync time should be fixed, it's very slow and gets stuck periodically, needs frequent wallet restarts if you want to sync up fully. If the sync cannot be fixed, at least at an official bootstrap and node list to OP. Also add the mastertoad guides that are on telegram. If you guys need any help, join telegram.

Don't release junk because first impression matter too much, if you don't want FUD, don't release buggy, junk.
This is true.  Last thing you want to do is release a halfass product.

People do whine and urge devs to hurry up but that's nothing compared to the FUD they do when a product is not working properly or lacks features / functionality. Remember, every gets blown out of proportion in the crypto space by newbies and that always hurts the image.

Neutron wallet is on maintenance on Yobit so I asked them, when will it be functional.
this is their response:

Wallet  is on maintenance.
The solution to this cryptocurrency will take some time, need to update the wallet.
We apologize for any inconvenience

jeez....

it's a template.
they don't need to update anything, they need cheap coins, imho

I have the same problem. What is the solution ? There's no problem with wallet.

Yobit steal our coin ?

can't say that for sure but they have been "holding" coins indefinitely, so maybe they will allow cashouts later, I stopped trading on yobit 6months ago, too many scammy situations there.

do you need to actively stake the coin or you get 25% fixed annual interest even if you open the wallet just a few times a year ? (example: rdd, ecc)
No bro. You have to keep your wallet open 24/7 to receive stake. If you dont have wallet open dont receive nothing.

thanks, do you know what the masternode rewards are and how much the staking is compared to it (MN) ? I see 6% yearly for MN but I don't see it for staking. Is it 50-50 and MN gets darksend fees in plus or there's more incentive for MNs ?
