everytime I have this fork issue I just delete all from appdata and redownload the chain, then its ok for about a day again, but I'm doing this almost daily.

I left the pc to mine while I was away, when I came back I saw that I mined 5blocks in a row and I was behind with about 300 blocks, how can this happen while solo mining ? I don't really get it.

My PC stutters while mining thats why I use -ethi 4 or even -ethi 1, lower hashrate but everything works fine. I doubt you can play games while mining at full speed, normally gpu usage is 99%+, with ethi 1 its 95%, that remaining 5% won't be enough for games. I'm using dcri 80 so maybe with dcri 20, you could play some games.

yes it works so long as you mine on the correct chain. Twice today I mined blocks on the wrong end of the chain  Same here, it's very frustrating. Dev would it be possible for you to hook us all up with a bootstrap for the correct chain? By the way my wallet's showing a height of 4859 at the moment, what's everybody else got? 4865 now, I think everyone is one the correct chain, the pool is closed. |

yeah, stopped the daemon, exited wallet, deleted the chain, started daemon, waited till sync, opened wallet. Since I started mining again, the looping error stopped. Those errors must come from my own wallet but I'm on the correct chain, we tested transactions so...I'm off to chill, setting goddamn miner rigs for 12hours now.
C:\users\yourusername\apdata\roaming\bipcoin delete that

Okay. Noob here. Trying to figure out why i still can't land any blocks. Was told that even with a lower hashrate (26-28) it should still be possible. Currently running two laptops (fully cooled) at about the same rate but nothing for hours (and hours and hours).
Anyone want to help the moron?
I have about 100h and didn't mine any block for 20hours, so..yeah, if you see in bipcoind your hashrate, just wait and pray |

exchange is nowhere near, I don't know why people think exchanges just take on any coin that is 3days old 2years ago you were happy if they added after a month. |

Okay, I am using 3 threads now, CPU usage fluctuates between 25 and 30%, show_hr shows about 115 (h/s?)

That sounds pretty goofy, waiting for it to crash. I don't really like it crashing.
Thats how you check the max hashrate, I'm using start_mining 3 and that use 75% cpu, 4 uses 100% but I know you can go higher for other cpu miners maybe this one too, but I'm using the PC so 75% is fine for me. |

Downloaded Windows wallet, updated blockchain, started mining with 12 threads (i7 5930k), after about 10 seconds I got a blue screen.
That hasn't happened to anyone that I know of. Did it fix with a restart? What Windows version, and what's the hardware, (Need laptop or desktop, at least), and which wallet, CLI or GUI? And how experienced are you with computer stuff? MWD I don't really want to try it a second time. version bipcoin.windows.x64.v0-0-0-1, custom built pc (i7 5930k, 16 gb RAM, gtx 1080, Windows 10), and it was through the console. Is there a GUI? that might be easier for me to use, I'm not very experienced with these type of things I'm using this bipcoin.windows.x64.v0-0-0-1.zip. start bipcoind.exe then simplewallet.exe O (open), type your wallet.bin, then the password, and start_mining 1 (thread count), start from 1and go up till you crash, use the one before crash. stop_mining then start_mining 2 repeat. in the bipcoind terminal if you dont see hashrate, type show_hr |
