It's going back up, now at 30! Buy buy buy! Remake your wallets! Reload your GPUs!
942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Selloff! on: June 08, 2011, 07:12:23 PM
Sell everything! Delete your wallets! Set all miners to stun!

944  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Will Collapse First, Bitcoin or the Dollar? on: June 08, 2011, 06:56:17 PM
Hopefully the dollar, so that I can quit my job.
945  Economy / Economics / Re: 1 BTC = 1000 USD on: June 08, 2011, 06:06:01 PM
I put "Later", but in my heart I know it will be August/September.
946  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where have my bitcoins gone? (Lost in transfer??) on: June 08, 2011, 05:40:37 PM
You used a risky Linux command to send that many BTC? Wow.
947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Peter Schiff doesn't get Bitcoin on: June 08, 2011, 02:24:51 PM
What's gold backed by? The dollar?  Cheesy
948  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Predict when 1 Bitcoin = $100 on: June 08, 2011, 02:19:35 PM
June 31st.
949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Look at the Price and Facts People on: June 08, 2011, 05:46:50 AM
I agree. Nothing has ever been done without great assistance from government employees before. Nothing.
950  Economy / Economics / Re: 1 BTC = 200 USD on: June 08, 2011, 05:28:00 AM
I vote yes. The bubble will grow to about 220 or so, and then catastrophically pop back down to 200.
951  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How Many Bitcoins do you own? on: June 08, 2011, 05:23:09 AM
Search engines might get reallllly good in the future. You're an idiot to say how many BTC you have, especially if they inflate 100x or more. Google caches everything, as do other crawlers.
952  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $20 on: June 08, 2011, 04:27:00 AM
Or maybe the miners are hoarding them?
953  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin gonna burst? on: June 08, 2011, 04:21:29 AM
Hasn't the bubble been "nearing its peak" since it reached parity with the dollar?
954  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If catastrophe happens on Earth and society collapses, would Bitcoins be useful? on: June 08, 2011, 04:20:14 AM
And gasoline!
955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the market be flooded with Bitcoin knockoffs? on: June 08, 2011, 04:18:21 AM
There will be, but they won't do well. It'll be like all the knock-offs of www.milliondollarhomepage.com. Some made a little bit of money, most didn't.
956  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is a bubble. on: June 08, 2011, 04:04:32 AM
The "event" is the dozens of news stories in the media, especially the drugs story, which leads people to believe that maybe this isn't just some silly game geeks are playing with themselves.
957  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $20 on: June 08, 2011, 03:50:05 AM
I bought in at 22.9 a couple hours ago. Niice.
958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If catastrophe happens on Earth and society collapses, would Bitcoins be useful? on: June 08, 2011, 03:49:01 AM
Women and gasoline would be currency, along with water and crossbow bolts.
959  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Shift the decimal point over? on: June 08, 2011, 03:43:17 AM
Shift it over 5 places, just to be sneaky.
960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If catastrophe happens on Earth and society collapses, would Bitcoins be useful? on: June 08, 2011, 03:40:45 AM
That's a good question. I'll look it up on Google News and get back to you once it happens.
