Hello everybody, While most of Shadow's developers are busy doing what they do best, some of us have been working hard on a publicity strategy intended to create greater awareness of The Shadow Project. As mentioned in rynomster's update, up until quite recently we haven't been as active as we could have been in keeping the community informed about development, or in publicizing the project outside the forums. One effect the recent Vice article had was to bring in a host of new users (including some developers) who'd like to learn more about - and to contribute to - the project. It's been inspiring to meet so many people who share our enthusiasm for the project's goals! The community is absolutely vital to Shadow and we wouldn't have achieved nearly so much without your help. So with that in mind we're pleased to announce that today officially marks the start of a publicity campaign we have all been working very hard on.
Over the coming days we will: - Start a thunderclap campaign to create more awareness for Shadow.
- Launch a new landing website for newcomers with the help of some community members. - Release a promotional video to help people better understand how Shadow works.
With this we hope to attract and inform even more people about Shadow, and to expand and strengthen the community and project further still. This will be far greater in scope than any previous efforts to publicize the project and in particular we're hoping to start reaching those in the more general public who might also be interested in what we're doing. All Shadow holders are equal and all have a say in the direction the project is heading. You are all invited to join Slack and discuss all ongoing projects. If you are a developer, you can use your powers to do good and contribute!  I am going to go ahead and wait for the new website for the faucet. as of today, i have sold all my sdc take care eveybody, and thanks to shadow team and community members it was nice to be part of this especially, i want to thank to SebSebastian who really helped me when i was a newbie like i said, i am fully out of sdc....maybe new rise starts  good luck, take care ps: child_harold, crz....both you guys are awesome how many times is that now? |

Ive been holding SDC since the cloak downpoor and have been patient since but gaining a few thousand SDc here and there trading is healthy.
We dont want a 500% in one day, we want steady 5% daily rise.
Oh yeah baby, love seeing me that slow steady rise. Hell, I'll take 1.5-5% daily rise any day. We don't need a rocket to the moon, we need an escaclator. I was saying that the other day. This is about sustaining innovation. Not pumping the shit out of it. I would have been happy at 30k even though I think Shadow is worth much much much more. Supply and demand will do the work. |

Is there a console command to force the full wallet to stake instead of a portion or is it purely dependent on usage of the network/ number of tx's and will always scale? I don't mess around with POS so much.

You do know that cloak never "happened" right? It never had a git. It never had anything really. It was vapor. These guys have delivered continuously. You should research Shadow. The SDC sales book is naked on bittrex  This coin is so undervalued its not even funny! People shouldnt be selling, if they do they will lose. Selling right now is a trap ^ I sold some of my shadows, cause I thought the market was manipulated. I feel very bitter, but fortunately i've been able to rebuy in before the explosion! Don't sell, hold, or like me you will feel ashamed of holding non-stop for 7 months your dear coins and end up with a lesser amount because of selling some THE DAY it finally exploded for real!  So guys, listen all to fearcoka, and don't sell shadow till its AT LEAST at "Dash" value... not to get your finger burned  Sorry what? Shadow has the best vision and the best disruptive strategy. Even Dark wanted to merge with the Shadow Team. Of course the price is not longer at 1-2k (I miss those days!) but this is perhaps also the reason why Ryno and Technovert can now afford to work full time for the coin. Correct price for the coin is at least 1$ now.... You are wrong. A lot. ? You were a weak holder. And now you underestimate the SDC. Hold whatever you have left, mark MY words. Effectively around 20k? But I am running off around 8k right now and it seems to be getting me around 1 sdc per day. I might be doing it wrong. This is the first coin I have ever POS'ed. I've got 16K. 2% is a little less than 1 SDC per day. But there are fees added into that. Just remember you don't really make any money on the 2% PoS. That's inflation not interest because everyone gets it. Well, almost everyone, Shadow tokens don't get it, and I don't know if it makes a difference if the wallet is open or closed. The more transactions I see, the more I realize it is less than 1 sdc per day. I am going through them now and I get about 2-3 rewards a day and they are between .2 and .08 sdc.... So, i need MORE! |
