My vacuum brain has been insulted.
I'm racist and hate everyone around me because my parents never cared.
My logic goes over your head frequently. It's ok pobrecito. I'll do the research that historically you have been incapable of. Got any more brain twisters like, "Does shadow have tor?" that I can answer for you, again?
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SDC] ShadowCash | POSV2 | Untraceable E-Cash | NIZKP | HD+BIP32 | ShadowMarket* on: February 11, 2016, 10:07:18 PM
trash

Sorry to disappoint but there was no serious attention. Shen identified the potential pitfall while working on something else decided to look at existing ring signature implementations he could find to see if any of them had the bug. Both OZcoin and Shadow seemed to have it. It's possible he missed something too, and Shadow is protected in some manner, although it doesn't really look that way (the code posted here doesn't seem to fix it). I guess we'll see after further attention is given to it.

Another assumption by Smooth and Co. So he happened to be working on something else and just decided to create a blog (who's only post is dedicated to this FUD) and reddit post and a ton of other bad PR around his assumption which turned out to be incorrect and again you backed him even though he had no proof. slowclap.gif. You have really dug another hole again for Monero Smooth. And then quoting the guy that called me a "Jewish rat". Way to keep it classy Smooth!

"Sorry to disappoint but there was no serious attention" no kidding just an ignorant PR blast from Monero. You guys have changed. Makes me feel like I need to dump the Aeon I hold.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ShadowCash is mathematically broken. I urge all SDC supporters to join Monero. on: February 11, 2016, 09:00:14 PM
User 'shnoe' has found a game breaking bug in Shadowcash's mathematical implementation.

https://shnoe.wordpress.com/2016/02/11/de-anonymizing-shadowcash-and-oz-coin/

The good news is that our Monero team has met with supporters and developers of ShadowCash in the past, and though they are mistaken about which next-gen currency to support, they are real people who are genuinely trying to build something great. (Let's overlook the dramatically short POW micro-period that turned into POS).

So again I urge:  all devs, artists, and supporters of ShadowCash need to stop with thier flawed implementation and join us in a proper Cryptonote implementation: Monero.  You are welcomed with open arms, and because it is still ultra-early you are participating in the genesis of this movement along with everyone else.

We all have different skills and talents, even if all you bring to the table is raw financial speculation.

Monero is not going to be some small darknet cryptocurrency: it's going to become one of the global standards for value and may soar to absurd values each... With your help.  We aren't in the Anarchist's Cookbook anymore ladies and gentlemen; this is going to be the first global private decentralized financial network.

And this is your invitation.  It won't ever get any more crystal clear than this.

Why not join AEON instead??  Smiley

Seriously, I think it's a bit pre-mature to call Shadow's "game" broken.  I mean no one has even offered up proof of deanonymization.
That's because they don't have it and are getting desperate.

Speak the devil's name and he shall appear? Tongue There is nothing to respond to. More baseless assumptions and more of you saying "are we there yet?"

BTW trolls shenNoether, newb4now, Smooth, sidhujag, and nazi member X1235 have already been debunked by code! Legit Code! Good work! Subscribe to the SDC git to get a front row seat.

Code:
Line 42: if (!(hG = EC_POINT_new(ecGrp))) //generates new generator.
Line: 48: if (hashToEC(&publicKey[0], publicKey.size(), bnTmp, hG) != 0) //passes new hG to hashToEC.

Which should result in the usage of a random new point if the code strictly does what's described here:
Line 8: // - bn(hash(data)) * G

ShenNoether is now grasping at straws. rofl

Are you really rolling on the floor and laughing?
I doubt ShenNoether is grasping at straws, but we shall see.

Quoting peoples past posts is fun isnt it erok? Wink
My cameo appearance is at an end.

stupid things
I am happy to be grouped with educated gentleman such as DaSource and Child_Harold.
I never said you were of low intelligence (that i can remember). I still don't think you are stupid. Just misguided and prone to tantrums. I still think you could do cool things and great work if you chose to. And yes quoting people from A MONTH AGO is rather efficient to prove my point that Monero is trolling their competition hard. You are referencing a quote of mine that is more than 6 months old which is not applicable anymore unfortunately.

I question your competence if you spend a month trolling with child_harold then finally realize SDC is legit after stating "I haven't looked at it recently" (troll admission)

If your gonna call my name out then at least let me respond.

I created the uncensored thread and did plenty of research and dug up lots of links. I am entitled to my opinions and you can respond over there.

What has happened here today is totally deserved after the SDC Team failed to get the Zeuner crytpo peer review completed (after the community paid for it well over one year ago).

I assume the market is on indefinite hold as a result.

I don't think this is the standard for handling security flaws in this industry.

You apparently don't understand the nature of the error.

The code can be fixed going forward, but you can't remove the broken ring signatures from the blockchain. Responsible disclosure has no benefit to users in this instance.

Given the lack of competence indicated by the nature of the mathematical error, users should also ask whether fixing the code is sufficient remedy.

I understand you would prefer to sugar-coat it, but there is really no way to prevent these sorts of flaws other than by having people who know what they are doing (and not just copying stuff without apparently understanding it, as I have pointed out here several times before is a frequent pattern, not a one-time occurrence).

Immediately after posting that, smooth posted this image

I thought it was funny, especially since I did mention ShadowMarket along with the shopping reference. You seem a bit thin-skinned for crypto.

FWIW, I also thought X1235's omg post mocking the idea of paying a bounty to be somewhat funny if dismissive, and for whatever it wasn't deleted by the thread moderator as mine was.
I question your competence if you spend a month trolling with child_harold then finally realize SDC is legit after stating "I haven't looked at it recently" (troll admission) and now come back with this crap? LOL try harder kiddo. You seem a bit thick headed for actual innovation. Keep riding CH and flufy's nuts. Take your troll team back to homebase because you are about to get disproved and ridiculed because you don't even understand what you are trolling.

Will the new version support I2P?
Seems like you could benefit from a bit of reading. Here is an article that should prevent any further interactions between us.

From the article (because I know you probably hate reading anything longer than a tweet):
"But with the Shadow wallet, which also has Tor/I2P support, they will be able to stake on their cellphones."

Blaaaa-blaa-bla the market is a fiction!
You can apply for your invite here:  https://talk.shadowproject.io/topic/486/shadow-marketplace-alpha-private-request-invite

But I do have to warn you that your douchebaggery might disqualify you... in general really...from everything in life. Maybe it's just me that doesn't have an appreciation for antisemitic remarks and laziness?

Edit:  Ahhh I love post history. While all of your recent posts are trolling for the most part (especially your nazi-ish rant at me for no reason that got deleted...yes i saw that!), I can clearly see your early affinity to dark/dash. DASH TROLL BE TROLLIN. Sigh, how predictable. Go back to your masternode crap. This stuff is too complicated for you to wrap your head around. I bet you even liked crave. LOL

You should do the world a favor and go troll an ipo/ico. OR contribute since it is open source. <-- crazy idea right?

Is it normal for a bbr transfer to take over an hour?

It wasn't an accident.  The big orders came in gradually.
Yeah they did.  I watched the price ratchet up.
I must have misread the 5 MINUTE chart i was looking at then... silly... me?

Anyways like i said before it at least got some eyes back on bbr. I'm picking up some more when it gets back to normal. Smiley

Fun time. 42 BTC buy order up to 33k sats for no reason unless there is something we don't know.

OOPS i accidently bought at market .. My Bad ..

At least it got some eyes back on this project even if it was an accident.

...

Do you know how it and the alert system works?

No. I was just making an observation and asking a question.

I brought this up when it was implemented, i even believe the alert systems on all coin clients are a vector of some sort. But when you truly understand how it works its no more of a threat then the developers becoming dishonest and inserting nefarious code in the binaries and source code.

To answer your question though, both systems (alert and news) require security keys.
BEAUTIFULLY explained. At first I was like, "IF the news was an attack vector it would be the least likely candidate and would really be more of a phishing attempt if anything." I rather liken it to RSS in my own head, except people can't just add to it like a Hacker News or Reddit RSS. Joe Ivanov couldn't submit a .ru and expect it to get posted.

Zcash vs. CT vs ringCT

I'm predicting the anon txn protocol will be updated to one of these eventually.

Adding Zcash would wipe out open bazaar

You mean adding Zcash as a payment option for the ShadowMarket?

Yes. SDC adopting zcash would make it very competitive.

except with a fat ico type scam.

I'm just indicating what I read. And posing questions. An imminent market release should have more Github activity methinks.

This, to my mind, seems more akin to trolling:

#justwait #notmuchlongernow

Pointing out my Monero title is a bit irrelevant in a thread about pseudoanonymity.

Thanks for the link. No disrespect intended -- merely checking the disparity between the proposed timeline(s) and actual development progress.

Oh no disrespect taken monero guy. But just so things are clear you can request an invite for the alpha market and that has been available since the dates you referenced. No disparity, just lack of fact checking.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SDC] ShadowCash | POSV2 | Untraceable E-Cash | NIZKP | HD+BIP32 | ShadowMarket* on: January 26, 2016, 04:12:35 PM
From Twitter:
Shadow ‏@SDCoin  26 Oct 2015
Get ready for #ShadowMarket ! #justwait #notmuchlongernow

From http://shadowproject.io/roadmap
Still lists ShadowMarket under 2015 timeline heading

Soon™
When you troll other projects ignorantly, you should at least do it on a screen name that doesn't contain the word "MONERO".

You can however request your alpha invite (because it is invite only) through Slack or through the https://talk.shadowproject.io/topic/486/shadow-marketplace-alpha-private-request-invite/2.

wheatclove: I think the code he is talking about is the code being developed for our future market.
Yes i was researching the market and ending up at deadends in regards to even the functional requirements.. So im guessing it was developed and designed at the same time :s

i guess its ok aslong as code coverage is high, which i doubt.
As a "journalist", do you always guess this much?

In regards to shade yes because of the private closed source nature of the project. Maybe you can tell us more about your development procedure, did you have a full design / requirements spec prior to coding? What is your code coverage like? With some transparency we can remove the guess work Smiley
You should just stop while you only look a little bad. Journalists guessing LOL, do you work for FOX news by chance?

wheatclove: "I'm gonna not bother fully researching this topic. Instead, I'll just post some assumptions about your project. Oh I was wrong? I'm not gonna redact my article."

That's what this sounds like to me.

I was going with what was given, with no documentation at the time and no code to look at (remember its private source code) which is funny in a crypto currency community. Again please give your points and I will update, I want the details of shade to be flushed out on paper so everyone can compare on equal levels.
Why would you do an "in depth" analysis, if you can't really do that, since you really had nothing to go off of it sounds like?

WHY hellllooooooo random non-contributor.  Grin  Alty fucked off a while ago and was a community lurker or whatever. I would like an android wallet too but priorities are priorities and everyone is working hard from what I read in the community Slack chan on the new gui and escrow/market shtuff. Seems far ahead of any competition I believe. But who really knows right? Your best bet is joining the Slack channel to get updates. JOIN IN!
