What is the plan? Should we bounce to another pool for a while? Did I just lose a week of work?

I volunteer my services to verify. I have like... the worst hardware so I can definitely test it and will post my review for free! Wink

I will test with an i7 compared to a gtx560. I will even go the extra mile and post a picture of my hash rates! WHOAAAAA

Who is this guy out of left field offering his services like a gentleman?! I am exactly that sir. A gentleman offering his assistance to a fellow forum member in need of some guidance. Contact me posthaste!

Anyone else running the dedicated PPC? I haven't gotten a payout since the 3rd on 10gh/s. Sad
*edit*
I think its just been a little unlucky. Everything looks good technically but not many people in the pool right now means it will take a while to find a block. But if there aren't many people in the pool why is my share under .9 ? Fun times learning. Anyone got any tips?

*edit edit*
im retarded. got a ppc on the 6th so a block tonight would be on target. Still in love the with the East coast servers.

Almost to 24 hours now on Bettercoin's Bacon pool. I have almost 6 bacon. I have been mining with cudaminer and a 560gtx on an i7 based laptop so nothing special. Giveaways being 13x what I have mined makes me a sad panda but whatevs. My system sucks Tongue. Twas fun times getting digital bacon. Thanks for the fun Raminnoodle! Cheesy

I have made 3.5 bacon on the bettercoin pool @ 56k on my 560 gtx since last night at 11:58 pm. Not sure if that is good or what but at least I have some bacon. Cheesy

East coast servers are legit IMO. Getting a much more stable connection.

That Commucoin idea is actually pretty good. If the computing power went to medical research or something people would donate their computer time and your worth would be almost a bonus that is just based off the time you dedicated. Interesting thought. Grin

I am mining doge and ppc on two pc's and a blade and it only says 6 khs for doge but ranges drastically. The 10gh/s blade that is running through a stratum proxy mining ppc as well is just not detected at all but i see the work being done even though my ppc balance of a whopping 2 ppc keeps going down. I am hoping that it counts in the end and I haven't wasted 2 days on a bad pool.  Undecided
974  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: BitMinter.com * Optional Custom Miner, PPLNS, Merged mining, Newbie-Friendly! * on: December 06, 2013, 10:01:59 PM
I am a newb  Grin! I was referred here from the http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=359431. I think I am stuck on a bad block on bitminter using my asic blade (current accepted pofs is at 100k+ with nothing in my wallet). My worker is making progress (0.00043466 expected per block) but I am getting minimal returns because it seems like each block is like 24 hours and 100k+ proofs of work. I am running at 99 % efficiency. The first day I got 0.01 btc. Second day when this 24 hour no-cashout or neverending block thing started I only recieved 1/4 of that. So I am thinking that something isn't working right. Any help is appreciated!
Bitminter pays when blocks are found, rather than when shares are submitted, so you'll see your balance jump up rather than increase steadily. The amount you receive per block is calculated from the amount of work you submitted in the last 10 shifts. If you activate the prepay perk (requires a donation), you will get paid right away, otherwise you'll get paid after the block has 120 confirmations.

You are a scholar and I appreciate your time sir!  Cheesy
