1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] ⚡ JOLYY - The Future of Beauty ⚡ [TGE SOON] ⚡ on: November 21, 2017, 07:49:05 PM
Is the mobile app working product or just a prototype ?

The mobile application is a working product since April 2017, it's for the beauty experts. You can find it on Google play and App Store searching for Jolyy. We will post later screenshots in English (as its in Bulgarian now) and will give login details, so everyone can play with it.

thank you for the answer!

You guys should call it something catchy like, coca-shmola, darsh, lertcoin, or manero.... sigh. Kind of surprised there isn't a gold peg element to this crap post.

I'm just going to put this here to get ahead of the bad ideas from this bizarro version of the coin we all love. THE REAL AEON IS FOUND HERE: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=641696.4560'

Just realized you guys might be fans of the mmorpg Aion or might be ancient Greeks. Otherwise the name of this is gibberish and means nothing so you can change it without an or you are just lazy af.

what is goldmint?
Like this dumbshit of a question for instance.

It's like their endgame product is a redbox filled with gold. So many custody bots are going to get stolen lol. That is what you get for crypto blasphemy. Also I have to say, the amount of bullcrap questions and shills in this thread is just... impressive. Dunno if it will translate into a successful ico though since the idea is fundamentally idiotic.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡️⚡️⚡️[ANN]GOLDMINT - ICO starts on 20th of September.⚡️⚡️⚡️ on: September 25, 2017, 05:35:16 PM
Apologies if I am incorrect about this... but isn't this the antithesis of what crypto essentially is? This would put the worth of said blockchain into what seems to be a lump sum of gold. But assets are diluted due to the POS you have implemented?

Using a centralized source of wealth like gold only increases the risk of the entire project as gold is frequently stolen, sometimes even by governments. I just feel like I see more and more of these pop up and people do not realize the essential value of crypto is not a receipt for what should be in someone's vault. It should be a reward for securing the world's most important resource which is data. Sorry if I am getting preachy. I just do not understand the appeal of stuff like this. Gold is something you buy and hold in your hand. Crypto is something that is decentralized and nobody can ever take it away from you.

Sell me on your crypto, not on gold please. Everything you have been saying is just what the current system is doing and is a huge trust system mess of debt with what used to be enough gold to make every dollar worth some of it. Systems like this deteriorate over time as humans pull crap. How will you deter the negative side of holding gold through a blockchain solution (I suppose is my main question)? I have already read through everything, and it seems like there is no guarantee that someone wouldn't doublespend the gold which would leave your system with whatever debt was left over by the transaction right? Or if someone stole the gold, what would happen to the asset?

Also, you misspelled traders as "traiders" in your PR graphics and it bugs the crap out of me.
Pretty obvious you are only interested in answering the same basic shill questions now to build up the number of pages here to try to create the illusion of interest in the project. These shill questions that are filling the pages are horrible though, you should really adjust the script away from such basic questions as "what do you hope to achieve in the project" over and over and over. This thread is just shills and spam if anyone actually digs into it.

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Gold and crypto. First in the World! GMT - GoldMine Token on: September 22, 2017, 05:49:23 PM
Hi, erok

1st, regarding article, this post is just proving that we are working and gold is mining. There's some pressure from some locals who want to have a piece of pie, but no matter what they want the mining will be still going on. Authorities and the goverment is at our side, supporting the project and right now thanks to ICO they got even more interested in our business. By the way we are helping local and supporting the community - not the "local leaders" . They'd (those "leaders") better find a job.

2nd, we're uploaded lots of paperwork and licences to make everything clear for everyone and we're totaly open. If you don't trust it - ok, dunno what to do more. Though, the article says that "Sources in Kasempa confirm that workers there are carrying out mining and digging". You're to contradicting yourself.

3rd - about our managing company registered in Hong Kong... no comments. Just take a look at other ICO's jurisdictions ans ask yourself why.

4th - about "ripping some people off in Zambia".  It would be nice to see some proofs. Please tell us.

5th - the assumptions about substitution of samples. This is hilarious. Really. You're blaming the company in  ripping off pour Zambian leaders and faking the gold (without any basis) and  at the same time prooving the real work and results by the article.

The "Gold" is a great movie, but it's just a movie....
I am directly stating that you have motivation to keep your operation, which sounds like it is at risk from the locals, afloat with new investor capital which you hope to gain from the ico. Basically.

Also, wasn't Matthew Mccnhennehouey just amazing in that movie? He must have put on like 50 pounds.

edit: oh and that there is no incentive for the buy back of said gmt token.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: JDC ~ Jamie Dimon Coin on: September 22, 2017, 03:58:13 PM
Now would be a great time to revive this.

Love how this is from January 2014, imagine this coin now! Mwhaha!
Lets bring it back. We can call the full units dimons and the micros patents because every single dimon has to be made of like a billion patents.

And hashing between miners would have to be a labeled to mimic the trolling he does so the miners would have to be labeled "trolls" because they are all fighting over "patents" through cryptological hashing which should be dedicated to the folding at home network for the giggles of it.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Gold and crypto. First in the World! GMT - GoldMine Token on: September 22, 2017, 01:17:56 PM
Anyone ever seen that movie Gold? With Matthew Mcconaughey? The real gold was the investors in the gold mining project.

That in mind, the first red flag that is obvious is the "First in the World" (btw world doesn't need to be capitalized...) But this guy might be new to crypto so he doesn't remember that this crypto model was probably most commonly known through uro then some random gold pegs came later. So maybe that isn't a red flag, we will chalk it up to OP being new to the scene.

I really want to focus on the land.

There are many aspects that go into surveying a plot. There are also many securities that need to be in place to assure that the assay was not tampered with during any part of the process. I see none of that coming out of a russian run zambian gold mine registered in china. Especially from a company that can't SEO their company site higher than a blog about how their company ripped some people off in zambia. But the article also demonstrated that the land that is said to be owned is under dispute assuming that I am researching the correct company from Aleksandr Ogloblin or Glebov.

https://www.dailynation.news/kasempa-community-cheated-out-of-mine-deal/

Now the testing side of it is done by a company called SGS who is legit but they do not ensure that what they are testing is not tampered with during transport from whatever site to their labs. So imo there are no assurances here for any actual assets. At least with some of the other gold pegs they attempted to keep reserves. This just seems like an ico version of the movie "Gold" that just got put on Netflix, which is a great movie but sad to see so many people get ripped off. So don't get ripped off people!

Also, what would ever be the incentive for the dev to buy back gmt after the whole cycle? There is no motivation for them to do that.

12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AEON [2017-04-23: update to 0.9.12.0] on: September 16, 2017, 04:50:34 PM
Hackers gather bread crumbs. Putting anything financial on a smart phone is dumb -- until the tech is better. But this is not my opinion. Many techies, computer nerds and black hatters say the same thing.

Things might change with the privacy-focused Librem 5 smartphone, at least if they can get it crowdfunded by late next month.
The librem 5 is happening. Someone will do something similar at least. Just a matter of time. The question will have to be from where was it manufactured and what warehouses it hits in shipping that will determine it's real security.

But if you aren't on an air gapped rasp pi or a trezor or paper wallet for your main stash, you are running a risk of a keylogger/capture on any device. It doesn't matter if it is a phone or not.

IMO if there is one platform that big corporations and the general consumer throw money at for security, it will be the mobile platforms. I believe a lightweight and secure version of monero, capable of running on devices like a phone, refrigerator, or your car could be something useful.

Not sure people think about the weight of a blockchain anymore and how it might work in an iot world. This is why I like aeon.

shit.

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XEL] :: Elastic - The Decentralized Supercomputer :: on: August 10, 2017, 01:50:38 PM
No funding except for the ICO? Call me crazy but I remember an ico.

I can't take this anymore Roll Eyes Yes, donations were collected almost 2 years ago (Alerta: no ICO!!!) with the purpose to kick off the development process. This obviously worked, didn't it? It is absolutely irrelevant whether it was required to burn them, throw them in the toilet, donate them to charity, use them to quit the job and pay the running expenses while coding, pay for 10 litres of Kopi Luwak coffee per day to stay shap-focused or if some other complex butterfly effect was made possible to happen. It just does not matter.

But there is one thing we can be sure of, clearly "creating a foundation, forming a corporation and funding developers on a monthly basis" was not the way the whole thing headed. It just didn't, even if you try to create the impression of the opposite. But this is fine, since it was never promised!
You can call it what you want but I am just saying that if the SEC or whatever poke their noses into this it will be classified as an ICO. I would just rather not live in fantasy land concerning this just because it was labeled a donation later. This sort of jargon dancing will just confuse kids and piss off gov types while simultaneously misleading legit investors. I dig the idea behind the project as quantifiable decentralized compututational resources are literally the whole aim of all this but I think this is a mistake to not call it was it was. If there were tokens or premined assets sent out based off a "donation" ledger then.... Sorry if you guys get this a lot, I just see this as an up and comer and feel like something big is coming in terms of regulation and authority for all of us. I will see myself out now. Best of luck sir, good to talk to you again.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XEL] :: Elastic - The Decentralized Supercomputer :: on: August 08, 2017, 12:49:27 PM
I dont know why everyone got so out of shape cause of my curiosity regarding the funding......especially since there are multiple threads on the Elastic forum talking about how to solve this exact issue. I didnt even ask for details on the project's funds all I said was that it is a hurdle that the project will have to overcome. Am I wrong eehhh prolly not.

Thanks for the correction on the 100 billion coins!  Smiley

Ill stay posted!

Simply put: there is no funding.

There is also no central authority, which could be considered suitable for holding and distributing any kind of funding. This is a crypto project in its original sense. If you don't know what I'm talking about, look at how Bitcoin came to life.
No funding except for the ICO? Call me crazy but I remember an ico.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Genoil's ZEC miner: AMD ZCash miner for Windows - 0.6 on: November 05, 2016, 08:32:51 PM
Claymore is 10% slower than Genoil for me.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Dual mining Ethereum and ZEC with decent speed! on: November 05, 2016, 03:31:42 AM
I dont get it lol. I run this:
Code:
title xxxxxxxxxxxxxx mining inc
:start
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool us1.ethpool.org:3333 -ewal xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx -epsw x -dpool stratum+tcp://dcr.suprnova.cc:2252 -dwal xxxxxxxxx.xxxxxx -dpsw xxxxxx
cls
timeout /T 10
goto start
Then I run my genoil and it crashes:
Code:
genoil.exe -c zec.suprnova.cc:2142 -u xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxxxxx -p xxxxxxxxxx -i 20 -w 64 -P 1 -g 0 1 -k zec zec zec zec -f 2
cls
timeout /T 10
goto start

What am I misunderstanding....

Edit* got it running but my speeds are horrible. Why would anyone do this?

OK I have found an interesting balance of some sort... using only two zec functions which request 4 threads I free up room to mine eth and dcr pretty reliably in that gap. The loss in hash on one coin though is the same for all really so you get what you put in. Lower returns but you do get to mine 3 coins at once... which is nice.
480 hash on zec is about 30/s
other two are about 80 and 100mh
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Genoil's ZEC miner: AMD ZCash miner for Windows - 0.6 on: November 04, 2016, 05:27:01 PM
Allllriiiiiggght Smiley After about 16 hours of straight up baller mining with only a couple automatic restarts, I have not had to touch a thing, I think the most stable and best config for speed on a 480 reference card is the following....

Code:
title 480 stable 16.9.2driver
:start
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
genoil.exe -c zec.suprnova.cc:2142 -u xxxxxx.xxxxxxxx -p xxxxxxxxxx -i 20 -w 64 -P 1 -g 0 1 -k zec zec zec zec -f 2
cls
timeout /T 10
goto start

If you are sporting less than a 480 with 8 gb gddr5 you will need to take the number of zec's used down to 2.
HAPPY HASHING!

my clock and memory/fan settings with the boysie 29mh rom on my 480's.
Nice thanks! I have sapphires though so I am going to have to research this as it looks designed for xfx 480s. Smiley Nice hash bruv.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Genoil's ZEC miner: AMD ZCash miner for Windows - 0.6 on: November 04, 2016, 12:51:42 AM
This is with my 2 480's. Smiley Custom 29mh boysie rom.
Dang you are getting 20% higher hash than  I am on stock roms... I am tempted. Is that on a 480 reference card?

yes its a reference card, 8gb. I average 125 with those two 480 and a 7950. with .6 its stable, once in awhile one card shows 0.00, but ever since redoing my bat file this morning its been stable all day with no issues.

here's my bat for the 480's:

setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
:start
genoil.exe -c us1-zcash.flypool.org:3333 -u t1gbnqz4wwWKYPCNNP6MBgvqPez5ZVEXU8F.rig2 -p z -i 20 -w 64 -P 1 -f 2 -g 0 1 -k zec zec zec zec
cls
timeout /T 10
goto start
Got any rom tips? Tongue
