by the way, are you one of the main sdc holder??? i dont think so have you ever heard about market maker??? there is market maker in real stock markets......if you want to use sdc as a digital currency, you have to stabilize the value of sdc That's silly. The way currencies are stabilized is by having goods that have a real and somewhat constant value to people priced in them. A market maker just facilitates trading on a particular market, they don't control the price, and if they tried to they would lose everything. No I'm not one of the huge holders, but I have a moderate stake (in a couple of addresses) that I expect to be worth between 1 and 10 million USD in a few years. hehe, so in a couple of years; shadow will make everyone here dollar millionaire better i buy more sdc with my mom's credit card so all smarties are here, at shadow i have sdc also, but better we have our feet on the ground we couldnt even went above all time high after anon release, we need pr and market volume / traders Blah just wait till the marketplace drops. People will be scrambling for the only true anon. |

I do want to make a shout out to RadDragon for acting as an intermediary for me. I do not always have the time to jump on BCT and make a post so I do definitely appreciate how he has volunteered to coordinate updates here from what is talked about in Slack.
Good to see you in the forum arg! Seeing that the developer is still working on this project I will buy some at this extremely low price to secure the future. SSD has amazing technology. I was thinking the same thing... |

We gave him answers but it soon became clear his little child mind just couldnt handle it,
its was just not mature enough to cope with all the info.

I had an idea for SBay obviously because it's decentralized no one has any control of what is put on it, but maybe it could have like in bct.org an ignore button on vendors and items and if that item or vendor was ignored enough say like 1000 wallets then the item or vendors listing would be automatically removed by the system, that way if someone was trying to sell assassinations, or guns, or child abuse material the community could quickly vote to remove it by just clicking the ignore button, is this possible to do?
Censorship = liability child porn on SBay= instant death of SDC..so it's got to be worked out these things can not be allowed on there, so there has to be a way. Without a charitable organization running the administrative side, it will be a free market. Though I hate the idea of CP... if there is censorship implemented but something makes it through, then the censoring administrator would be liable in some way. However, it could work similar to Reddit and Digg where you get upvotes for exposure. CP of course along with racist propoganda would probably be downvoted to crap and would not be as active in the community due to that which might work? |

It is good to see all the naysayers left the building  what is the cap of digibytes how many will be created ? 21 billion DigiBytes will be created over 21 years. FUD isn't a productive term, it lumps people who have legitimate issues with trolls. Nothing good is every easy, the not easy part involves issues and solving them. If you call anyone who brings issues forward a FUDDER, then nothing will get done. We have a forum now, and it's pretty active, thanks to PhiPhi, we made a great step forward in building a active and vibrant community. This is a great example how lively this community actually is and what we are capable of accomplishing. This is the side of PND we want everyone to see. So let's stop calling people FUDDERS, if someone comes forward with a real issue, lets solve it. If they are trolling, we ignore them. I bought my first PND because I saw how dedicated amDOGE was to pnd, against all odds, he marched on, and made amazing things happen. And today I bought PND again, because I saw how strong and dedicated the PND community is, not unlike the dedication I saw in amDOGE that made me sell off all my other alts. Cheers Pandas! Ok. I give in. I am a devout longhauler. I have never sold even 1 PND. I am once again in acquisition mode. |

On the subject of the name, I started a poll to try to gauge people's opinions on it. I think the current name might harm adoption in the long-term. Given the amount of work involved in rebranding etc. this is probably the last time that the option of renaming the project can be entertained at all. There would have to be a pretty sizeable majority for renaming (plus someone would have to come up with a better name) for it to be considered, but either way it's maybe the last chance we'll have to have the discussion, so speak your brains. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=931139.new#newbump I like the name Shadow. Not as keen on the "Cash" part, altho it explains the usage. I guess if I heard a better name I could be swayed. The "cash" is only one part. If we rename to " Shadow" we express the broader scope of this coin/network. (Kinda like when "Apple Computer" changed its name simply to "Apple") so… shadowcash, shadowsend, shadowchat, shdowbay, shadowvoice etc etc all fall under the purview of Shadow, an elegant and simple to market brand. I'm considering setting up an anonymous fax service using Shadow. But I have no idea what I could call it! LOL...Smeagle Shadowfax GTFO anonymous faxing service what the fucking fuck. Why not just setup a pptp vpn service like cloak did when it died for fucks sake. I think the above was more an example of a Shadow network service name using the Shadow brand.
