1101  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 15, 2023, 05:42:40 PM
I think Man city has every chance to win.  Because they already scored two goals in a row early in the game, 5" and 13". Man City are playing restlessly and their performance looks like they will win today's match 5-0 in the end and move closer to Arsenal on points. but Arsenal team also has a match today so if they also play the match well then Arsenal will be ahead by some points. but if Arsenal play badly in the match. then Man City will overtake Arsenal very soon
Manchester City are really in top form at the moment, so I think it will be very difficult to contain Manchester City. Leicester didn't have a good chance to try to stop Manchester City today, even Leicester had been 3-0 down since the first half. Because of that, it looked very easy for Pep Guardiola to rotate some players in the second half as Haaland and John Stones have been replaced by Alvarez and Manuel Akanji.

Manchester City will likely play it safe in the second half because there are still important matches waiting for them in the Champions League. So I think Pep Guardiola is getting excited to look forward to the second leg of the Champions League against Bayern Munich because Leicester are looking easy to beat.
1102  Other / Meta / Re: why bitcointalk don't advertise anywhere. on: April 14, 2023, 08:49:01 PM
Any special reasons for not advertising bitcointalk forum?
And don't we think there will be shortage of users here as time passes?
Every user can come and go anytime and for any reason. But bitcointalk remains the most recommended discussion forum when you start to realize what bitcoin is. Bitcointalk doesn't need any kind of promotion or advertisement in various places, but believe me this forum will continue to get interest from new users every day.

Without advertising, bitcointalk has 3,548,069 registered profiles. But only 55,423 profiles are still active, at least in the last 3 months.

Osimhen will definitely be able to play in the second leg so Milan had better be prepared well. He is even ready for their upcoming match against Verona home but I don't think Spalletti would risk him by putting him on the starting eleven. Even if they struggle to secure a win in that match Spalletti still shouldn't sub him in for this match. It is too risky to have your best player on the field right away as long as that match isn't much important for the team.

They are already comfortable about reaching the league championship in the end. It doesn't matter much if they lose points against Verona. They are going to have a much more important rematch against Milan in the end. Osimhen is a game changer for Napoli and this time they should be able to do which they couldn't in the first leg.
Yes, I think it should be right. We both know how influential Osimhen has been for Napoli this season.
As Serie A's top scorer, Osimhen is certainly feared by opposing defenses this season. But because of his injury, Napoli had to struggle to find a solution so that his goal tap didn't jam. Napoli are on the verge of failure in the Champions League, but they still have opportunities that cannot be ignored. A warning message for Milan is that Osimhen is a threat to their chances of qualifying for the semi-finals.
1104  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 14, 2023, 08:27:11 PM
Napoli had a difficult day when they conceded the first goal in the first half, and to make matters worse, Anguissa received two yellow cards and was sent off the pitch. This left Napoli to face the formidable Milan with one less player. All effort of fighting hard to equalize the score, their chances were dashed by Anguissa's costly mistake. Hopefully, Osimhen can help lift the team to new heights and make headlines. This success could potentially lead to an increase in his wages during the next transfer window, giving him an advantage when negotiating with the board of Napoli, he can comfortably say what he can offer and what he cannot offer the team but they have to pass through Milan at all cost.
There is a good possibility for Napoli if Osimhen returns to strengthen their line of attack in the second leg.
Napoli really struggled in their two meetings with Milan, but I think Napoli can still come back in the second leg by chasing the goal deficit and winning the match. Osimhen is an influential player, but apart from that, I think Milan will really do something to make their plan for the semi-finals a success.

The second leg will be even more exciting because two of the four favorite teams have to lose. Bayern Munich lost badly to Manchester City, while Napoli had to lose to Milan in 2 consecutive match.
1105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: April 14, 2023, 08:19:37 PM
It seemed if sporting was dominating the match even though the game played in allianz arena. Sporting was making so many goal attempts against juventus. The only problem if the team is lack proper finishing. I hope that sporting will able to do the same when juventus will be playing away. Losing 1-0 is not a hard score to catch up. Sporting may try to repeat the same result against arsenal. Sporting lisbon is a black horse in the europa league right now. The second leg gonna be a very interesting match. Juventus will be getting so much pressure from sporting.
Im sure about this by seeing the statistic from the first leg. Sporting was able to prevent juventus to get big ball possessions. The second leg gonna be crazy match for sporting.
Sporting have been unlucky at Allianz, but they still have a good chance in the second leg. Juventus are not safe just by winning 1 goal in the first leg, so I have not removed Sporting from the chance to qualify for the Europa League semi-finals this season.

Sporting will likely try to do better at home in the second leg. If they fail to score in the first leg, then they should be able to find a solution in the second leg. Sporting's advantage is that they will be playing at home, but they also have an advantage because Juventus didn't have many goals in the first leg.
1106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 12, 2023, 07:17:12 PM
It is obvious Madrid are favourite of the two teams, Not just because Madrid have a better team but also Madrid have a better use of the ball when they create chances. Chelsea have a good team but cannot make good use of what they have... Chelsea might not see a goal at Santiago Bernabeu, because they still having issues making good use of the chances they create
The match only lasted 15 minutes, but Chelsea really came with a lot of threats. Joao Felix came close to scoring when he found a great pass on the counter-attack. So I can say, in the first 15 minutes Chelsea were good enough to put Real Madrid in trouble. Chelsea just had to calm down a bit and try to take advantage of Real Madrid's defensive mistakes to score goals. So I think there is a possibility that both teams can find goals in this match.
1107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 12, 2023, 06:46:53 PM
Chelsea defence and midfield is good enough to withstand the pressure of Real Madrid. With Kante and Enzo in the middle is a force joined with Kovasic. That is good enough to stand Kroos, Modric and Kamavinga.
The formation of Chelsea 3 man defence : 5 man defence is good because Chiwell and James have the pace to play box to box and reserve energy.
One important thing that Chelsea is missing is a standing 9 who is a sharp shooter that can get goal anytime in the match.
There was a change in the composition of the players played by Lampard in today's first leg, yes Havertz will sit on the bench because Lampard prefers Raheem Sterling to fill the striker slot in today's 3-5-2 scheme. It might be good to find Chelsea's form picking up in this game considering Havertz hasn't had much of an impact recently.

Chelsea may have expected to be in charge of the midfield in today's match as they have fielded 5 midfield players, but Ben Chilwell and Reece James are very likely to play deeper if Real Madrid press better. Lampard's 3-5-2 scheme is very flexible considering they play two fullback on the wings, meaning that the scheme can change to 5-3-2 if the opponent appears very offensive.
1108  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you think Bitcoin will hit $1 million for the first time? on: April 12, 2023, 06:33:30 PM
What a nice coincidence, I just watched a video content talking about Balaji's bet on June that he's predicting bitcoin reaching $1M on that time. So we've got 2 months left until that bet and prediction he's talking about but I don't think that it will.
2 months is too near mate  and even how things go it is impossible for bitcoin to reach that high (at least not in the next Bull run)

it is a too much expectation that will surely come to failure.
Somehow I'm not sure $1m will be achieved in less than one year from now, let alone in the next 2 months. Even if it's not impossible, I don't think it's a very reasonable idea to think about. Even if $1m is eventually reached then I think we need a lot of time and factors to make that happen.

Maybe in the next 10 years, or maybe longer depending on how the market responds after the 2024 halving. If the next ATH can reach $200k, then there's a good chance we'll hit $1m in 10 years. Well this is just my assumption but anyway $1m is too big to be real.
1109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 11, 2023, 07:28:23 PM
This is the final before the finals, both teams will be bringing their best today considering they need the win to the next round which may be more easier than this. There are two games ongoing tonight but focus is more on the Manchester City and Bayern Munich game. I expect a super game knowing how both teams are tactically sound and will put up a good performance. I want Bayern Munich to win.
Manchester City have dominated this match well, several opportunities have not been converted into goals, especially Haaland.
I think the chances of them winning are very big, but certainly not about a lot of goals. The match had lasted more than 25 minutes, but it was difficult for both teams to get a goal even though Bayern and City had chances.

Oh damm, Rodri oh Rodri - it's been an epic goal so far.
1110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale strategy in casinos on: April 11, 2023, 07:20:53 PM
Even having a very large bankroll can't stop you from going bankrupt if you are using Martingale strategy and if the loss streak becomes a little too large, let's say about 10 to 15 consecutive losses, and believe me, when you are out of luck, that happens. I know it doesn't happen every single time but we all know that this is something possible in gambling.

I just had an estimate, if you get 17 to 18 consecutive losses, have a bankroll of $1m, and the initial bet is only $5, you will go bankrupt at the 18th bet if you are doubling your bet after every loss. So it's basically a deadly strategy.
I have to smile a lot to remember one of the strategies in this gambling. To be honest I have lost a lot of money with the strategy talked about, of course that was in the past but of course some people can win bets to some extent.

Martingale is not a strategy to win, but in the long term it can be very detrimental especially when applied to games based on luck. To this day, the average gambler seems to be aware that the martingale strategy is unprofitable, but somehow it is still being tried by some.
1111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 11, 2023, 06:50:18 PM
There are no easy games in title run-ins, and City have tough games against the likes of Chelsea, Brighton and even an Everton side that are fighting for their lives at the bottom end of the table, these games aren't easy ones. I think both Arsenal and City have almost similar fixtures from now until the end of the season, similar in terms of opposition team strength, thus whoever wins the title deserved it, and not because they had easier games right at the end than their fellow title contenders.

Having said that, the only difference between the two teams is that City are still alive in three competitions, whilst Arsenal have only the EPL to play, they have a full week to prepare for games from now until the end of the season, it could increase City's fatigue level, but City are built for title races like this, they have a good squad depth, and the quality at their disposal is enough for them to challenge on all three fronts.
You're right, whoever wins the title in the end then that's the best team and deserves it. But speaking of opportunities, Arsenal, who are currently 6 points ahead of Manchester City, can still excel despite the fact that they are starting to feel heavy pressure to maintain their advantage. Manchester City is very likely to reduce the gap with Arsenal to 3 points if they win against Leicester, so that is a threat.

After all, Manchester City probably won't lose focus on the Premier League as long as they still have a chance to win the title. They will still be trying to win all available titles, so this season can really be expected to be great to look forward to.
1112  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 10, 2023, 09:27:54 PM
It's hard to say they have trouble getting a coach. I think with their current financial situation it will be easy to get a good coach. But it looks like they have their own policies and they don't want to rush like Potter's election.
At the moment Lampard's problem is to understand the new players. They need adaptation and at the moment they are not a good team. So I wouldn't expect much on Lampard to bring Chelsea better. No worse than potter, maybe that's my best expectation. In the UCL I think they also don't have as much hope as they will be against Real Madrid.
Lampard is optimistic to get Chelsea into shape, but he needs support and good cooperation from players and everyone. Some players haven't adapted well to the team, Lampard has a duty to make it better. I noticed that Chelsea need a good touch from Lampard even though I doubt it, but Yes, he should be supported instead of hated.

It's difficult for Lampard to be expected to be able to beat Real Madrid in the Champions League, but there's nothing wrong with seeing how he proves the quality of his team this time. Chelsea are a good quality team but they are just unlucky with goals.
1113  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: April 10, 2023, 09:13:10 PM
Hmmm, I don't know why it looked like a bad option to you, but Girona is totally harmless today... Barcelona was in much control of the game as at then..but a win wasn't guaranteed.
Does it actually mean barca is relenting cus they are actually able to secure the top table?? That's your mindset anyways ....it took them their consistency and hard work to be able to achieve that...so i don't think it's something to mess with. With that, Barcelona ends the game with 72 points upfront, leaving giron behind with only 35. I'm looking forward to seeing how the next match goes ...

Sandra 🧑‍🦰
Some of Antonio Mateu Lahoz's decisions in the Barcelona vs Girona match have cost Barcelona as much as it seems. But I'm not saying it's a controversy and Barcelona should be very satisfied to remain unbeaten at home even though they have to accept 1 point in what is considered an easy match.

Barcelona completely dominated the match from the first half until the match ended, but unfortunately they failed to find a goal. I was very curious how Araujo's shot was not counted as a goal, but the VAR decided it was not a goal. I don't know, but Barcelona is still ahead of Real Madrid. Barcelona is 13 points ahead of Real Madrid in the standings until match 28, so they are still quite comfortable there even though they failed to win today.
1114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I still believe I am on the right path on: April 09, 2023, 07:32:22 PM
Congratulations on finding the resolve to still invest and believe in bitcoin even if there's been internal and external struggles that had clouded your judgement in the past.

For me, the hardest part about being a bitcoin investor is that you once were someone who doesn't know anything about it, a noob per se.
You're easily swayed by market trends, FUD, shill, and every bit of opinionated information that is available on the internet. I wouldn't lie, I've been a victim of this in the past too, and am currently being a victim of it in the cryptocurrency industry still even though I'm almost in this industry for a decade. But whatever, I think once you got past that initial doubt, and realize that only two things should matter to you as an investor, and that is your own volition and the facts that are stated in available academic and statistical papers, you're pretty much set on a good path as a bitcoin investor already.
When the OP says he still believes in bitcoin and he is investing in it then he is still on the right track.
Bitcoin is the best choice as a long term investment compared to many other assets. Some people doubt its potential in the long term due to their ignorance of bitcoin and its history, but it is different for those who know what bitcoin is.

Even though my participation in bitcoin has been relatively recent compared to many other users, but I have been very focused on bitcoin instead of anything else. This is about the future, of course because I expect worth it return on what I have invested. In fact I would say bitcoin is the least disappointing investment asset so far despite its price volatility.
1115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: April 09, 2023, 06:39:48 PM
It's almost impossible for Nice to participate in European cups. They played successful matches in the league in the last weeks, but they could not show enough performance. It would be a miracle if they won against PSG. It was expected and they lost 2-0. Now they can't save any more points because Psg wants the championship.
Instead of expecting Nice qualify for the League, then I think one from Monaco and Marseille and Lens are the most likely teams to be there next season. Monaco, Marseille and Lens do not have much difference in points, so one of the three is expected to qualify for the Champions League and Europa League next season. About PSG, they are the favorites for the title, it's very possible.

PSG are 6 points ahead of Lens after winning against Nice a few days ago. His position is safe from Lens, but Lens has the opportunity to close the gap if he manages to win full points next week from PSG, which in my opinion is difficult. I think PSG will eventually widen the safety gap from Lens to 9 points, I hope it is.
1116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 09, 2023, 05:46:54 PM
Finally it ended in a draw as well so Liverpool were not too embarrassed in this match because it took place at home. Arsenal have been spectacular this season and will probably win the title even though they still have the pressure of seeing their rivals improving. Especially like Manchester City, where the point difference is still not too far from Arsenal, but it seems that Arsenal are still consistent enough in each game to keep the points away from their rivals below.
Liverpool almost scored several goals throughout the second half to win the match, but Arsenal's defense really made them have to settle for 2-2. Salah and Nunez had some good chances to score but all fell short even though Liverpool were very good in the last few minutes.

For me this is a fair result for Liverpool, but of course it is very detrimental for Arsenal, who were 2 goals ahead from the first half. Due to this draw, Arsenal are now in danger of failing to win the title if Manchester City win all the remaining match of the season. Manchester City will have super busy schedule in April compared to Arsenal, especially because they have to play 2 Champions League matches and 1 FA Cup match. However, it seems that the 6 points are still very likely to be pursued by Manchester City, which is currently in its best form.
1117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: April 08, 2023, 06:17:35 PM
I also don't have much expectations from Chelsea now after they have got Lampard. I wouldn't call Lampard a clown coach but yeah he has lot to learn and experience as a manager. It wasn't a wise decision from Chelsea to sign Lampard (I have talked about it why I feel so) but anyway its just temporarily so let's see how it goes till the end of this season. I think they should have gone with either of Nagelsmann or Enrique (even better) in my opinion when they had a chance. Not sure why they didn't make things final when things were very close.
So far I agree that Lampard has not been able to have a positive impact on Chelsea's performance, he has even failed at the first opportunity in the past. Maybe in the end he will also fail again with his second chance because Chelsea really is a team that is having a hard time.

Nagelsmann or Enrique are certainly much better than Lampard, so I think Chelsea will only get one of them next season. Lampard may only be in charge until the end of the season, but it's clearly not a good decision Chelsea have made this season.

Southampton vs Manchester City so far 1-4. Now only 5 points away from Arsenal, great for keeping the title chances alive.
1118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Exchanges with trading apps for PC (Windows, macOS, Linux)? on: April 08, 2023, 05:30:20 PM
I know there are web versions, but I believe apps are the in thing when it comes to any major platform.
Some well known platforms I think have them, Binance is one of them. But if it comes from another platform that is not reputable among traders, then I think it is a wasted effort. Actually I haven't tried any desktop app or mobile app other than Binance although some well known exchanges like OKX have them too.

For my local exchange, several exchange also have mobile app that are compatible with IOS and Android (Tokocrypto and Indodax). But about the experience of use, it just depends on the preferences of each. I myself use binance and several local exchange including the mobile app and web versions.

If you would like to share a mistake you have made, it could help newcomers avoid making the same mistake when posting here.
I'm honestly not sure if you'll get lot of honest answers from users, but of course we did. The most common mistake is posting off-topic, low quality or something like that. This is a mistake of the average user so you will surely get some of their posts which have been deleted by the moderators so far.

Another day for Chelsea, new caretaker manager and yet again, another defeat for the Stamford Bridge team. Terrible, terrible season Chelsea fans are having, i don't know for how long they can endure this disappointing run of form, but they'll definitely be hoping this season comes to an end sooner. They are still in the CL but there's no need to talk about that because they would be eliminated by Real Madrid in the QF.

Having said that, Chelsea remain in the bottom half of the table, which is definitely unacceptable considering the amount of money that the club has spent in the last couple of months, with how bad Chelsea are playing i'd not be surprised if they finish this season in the bottom half of the table, and whoever becomes their permanent manager would have quite a lot of work to do.
I really don't understand why Chelsea always difficulty to win match after match they play. To be honest, I don't fully know what causes it when in fact they have many of players who have above average individual skill. Where did it go wrong, that is the most appropriate last question for Chelsea. Tuchel was sacked because of bad team performance, Graham Potter was sacked because of the same problem, now Lampard is also still having hard time finding solution to get Chelsea back on track even though this is his first match as new manager.

Player rotation might be worth considering for Lampard, including replace Havertz who plays as striker. Lampard really has super difficult job at Chelsea, I have to say because this team looks very problematic.
