1181  Economy / Economics / Re: Could Bitcoin one day become the global reserve currency? on: March 18, 2023, 02:25:07 PM
Bitcoin is not going to become global reserve currency for one reason, I think the most obvious reason right now is that governments do not fully support bitcoin as a currency or means of payment. So far the government or relevant institutions do not hold large amount of bitcoin, hence bitcoin will not become a foreign reserve. After all, governments cannot control bitcoin, that is another reason why bitcoin will not become global reserve currency.

I'm not sure volatility is the most compelling reason why bitcoin can't be global reserve currency, but bitcoin's decentralization is the main reason why it can't be global reserve currency.
1182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 18, 2023, 01:51:04 PM
I wouldn't think Real Madrid has any lower than 30% chance of winning El Clasico at Camp Nou. This means that Real Madrid should have more than a 30% chance of winning the game while Barcelona are the favourites. So it feels difficult to get Real Madrid to win the El Clasico match because Barcelona is very motivated to maintain its good record and also its title chances. However, I will not underestimate Real Madrid's ability to beat Barcelona at home. That could be true even if Barcelona had a higher chance.

The best result I hope for is a Barcelona win, while the possible result is a draw. I hope that El Clasico is still low on goals, maybe only with 1-3 goals for a 1-0 or 2-1 win for Barcelona. But let's look forward to it, I hope it's a very tense match and one of the best El Clasico of the season.
Real know how to surprise, if anyone has a chance to beat Barcelona at the Camp Nou, then it's Real, but Barcelona is now much stronger than it was a few years ago. In general, I agree that Barcelona have an advantage today, but this does not guarantee them victory. Real understands that if they don't get three points today, then they can forget about the title in La Liga.
I'm not going to argue with anyone about who will win El Clasico this week. Barcelona is playing at home and they should be the favorites because of their home advantage. You could say Real Madrid is the team most likely to beat Barcelona first at Camp Nou for La Liga, but only if Real Madrid outperforms Barcelona in terms of performance and attacking effectiveness.

We all know how strong Real Madrid is, also we know that Barcelona has developed more compared to the previous few seasons. Xavi has lost the first El Clasico at the Bernabeu, while Xavi will be expecting win in the second El Clasico at Camp Nou. I'm not talking about El Clasico in the Spanish Super League final and the first leg of the Copa Del Rey because both matches were won by Barcelona.
1183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 18, 2023, 09:58:49 AM
This match will probably be the last chance for Real Madrid to come back in the competition for La Liga this season, whereas any result except the win will mean that their chances have fallen down to nearly zero. On the other hand, Barcelona haven't lost on their ground this season, they played 12 matches, won 10 and had a draw in 2 of them.
True, it is a good home record for Barcelona in their 12 home matches so far (La Liga). But there is still another fantastic record, Barcelona have only conceded 1 goal in 12 home match this season for La Liga and that should also be a concern for Real Madrid.

Therefore, Real Madrid's mission seems to be difficult this time, especially because they recently lost to them in the Copa del Rey a few weeks ago. However, I think the match against Real Madrid isn't comparable with any other match for Barcelona, and all these achievements they made this season could easily evaporate if Vinicius and Benzima were in their best situations. Although they are doing well in the home matches of La Liga this season, Barcelona with Xavi haven't achieved good results against big teams like Man United, Inter Milan, and Bayern Munich in the Camp Nou. This might give Real Madrid some motivation, knowing that even the draw won't help Real Madrid in this match.
I wouldn't think Real Madrid has any lower than 30% chance of winning El Clasico at Camp Nou. 1184  Economy / Economics / Re: What will you do if bitcoin crash? on: March 18, 2023, 09:43:52 AM
I think it's simple to read these conditions in case they happen at any time. In the event of a Bitcoin crash it is important to stay calm and avoid making impulsive decisions. Historically, Bitcoin has experienced periods of significant volatility and has also shown an ability to recover from market downturns. However, there are no guarantees in investing, and it is important to have a diversified portfolio to mitigate risk.

If you invest in Bitcoin and experience a crash, it may be wise to review your investment strategy and assess whether any adjustments are needed. This could include re-evaluating your risk tolerance, adjusting your portfolio allocation, or taking a long-term perspective rather than reacting to short-term market fluctuations.
Most of what you say is true, but I believe many traders or investors can understand it as simply as you say. The panic that occurs in the market is not only caused by inexperienced beginners, but many experienced people will panic and avoid many losses due to price corrections.

I think that crypto investment losses are not only due to wrong strategy, but also because the market trend that turned bearish has triggered panic selling which in turn touched the cute loss limit for many traders. This causes traders to accept losses, but if you do not trade or just keep your assets in separate wallet, losses due to volatility can be minimized even if the portfolio value has decreased.

1185  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin continue to rise on: March 18, 2023, 09:31:07 AM
but I want to ask do you think the price of bitcoin will continue to rise until it reaches 50000 or not... ?I want to hear it from all of you...
There are always two possibilities, the price could reach $50K or higher but it will take time to get there, and the price will probably correct before the market finally recovers. So don't be too optimistic and don't be too pessimistic, but I'm tend to believe that $50k will be made again regardless of this year, next year, or after the halving.

and if I sell my bitcoin now I'm afraid the price of bitcoin will fly even higher... I want to hear your opinion...?
If you have bought bitcoin under $20K, then it's fine for you to sell them now. But if you are willing to hold on to it, then there is a chance you will generate higher returns than you are now. If I were you, I wouldn't sell it right now because I'm still expecting a potential higher price instead of $27K.
1186  Economy / Speculation / Re: Asia Pushes Bitcoin Past $25K on: March 17, 2023, 08:16:56 AM
Generally, Asia is more accepting of Bitcoin. In general, I could think of a couple of things why.
  • Asia has been technologically advanced in recent years
  • Lack of trust in Banks
  • Transferring money has become easier
Two of your 3 reasons seem to be the facts why Asia is considering accepting cryptocurrencies. While I somewhat disagree that most Asians have lost faith in banks.

The advancement of digital technology in Asia has really encouraged many developers to contribute to the crypto industry. I've found my country's government friendly to crypto even if they don't approve of it being used as legal tender. That's not a problem, but the point is that Asia is increasingly able to regard these cryptocurrencies as a form of digital development.
1187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 17, 2023, 07:50:40 AM
I just believe that any club Real Madrid plays will go home in the next round because presently,I don't think that among the clubs that qualified, any of them will be able to win Real Madrid if they meet. Napoli is a good club with Oshimen scoring goals in all his matches,I don't know if they will be able to play Real Madrid.
It means you underestimate the other team's chance to win the match because you are very selfish just because you don't want Real Madrid to lose. Football is game about beating each other up, even the non-favorite team can win over the favorite team as long as they take their chances and defend well. So don't underestimate anyone in the quarter-finals even if you hope Real Madrid will qualify for the semi-finals.

Whoever Real Madrid plays in the quarter-finals, in my opinion, their chances of winning are just as great. If it's Napoli, then it's very likely that Real Madrid will fail this season. I will say no to Real Madrid this season even if many of you disagree with me.
1188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 16, 2023, 07:21:22 PM
It is clear that many people say that Real Madrid will advance to the next round and this has been proven by the results of the matches that have been completed. In addition, Liverpool this season has not been good enough with the performance they have shown in most of the matches played by Liverpool so the result he got against Real Madrid is a very decent result even though it is very painful for Liverpool fans.
Liverpool are not in their best form in the English league, but they have impressed in the Champions League with only 1 defeat in the group stage. I can only imagine that if Liverpool had not met Real Madrid they would have advanced to the quarter-finals this season, but unfortunately Liverpool are still having a hard time beating Real Madrid.

Klopp must have realized what Liverpool are lacking this season especially in the Champions League, so he should be able to quite cover the same gap next season if he stays at Liverpool longer. Meanwhile, Klopp must struggling to qualify for the Champions League next season after being left behind by many points from Tottenham until Week 26.
1189  Economy / Speculation / Re: Get ready for the rising and pumping hours. on: March 16, 2023, 07:13:14 PM
Well if we did sustain our run to $26k then I would have to believed that we might see a continues pump and maybe up to $30k. But it was very short, price drop to < $25k.
Yes, somehow bitcoin didn't manage to stay above $25K after the pump. I still think a lot of people are still hesitant to hold their bitcoins long term so they are very keen to sell them when small pump occur like the last few days. But strong support at $24K can be expected and continued upside should become a reality.

I didn't believe bitcoin would reach $25K in March, but I was wrong. But it may be true that it is still difficult to get bitcoin to stay above $25K today. Investing now is the best option, and once again the long term optimism about bitcoin's potential should have increased.
1190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 16, 2023, 06:42:41 PM
Most chances current or new management will not sack Jürgen Klopp because they all know how things were difficult in this season with injuries and few players were not able to perform their best even right now they are still had chance for the Champions League which is challenging, but they still can achieve this target if they are able to fix their problems in last few years Klopp done amazing stuff here, so just one season is not solid reason to sack him from this job as he still can do things at their best in near future.

Currently, they are having next three matches which will decide can they achieve their fourth spot or not because they are going to visit Manchester City then Chelsea and hosting Arsenal all tough matches in coming weeks if they will have good results then surely Tottenham and Newcastle United will be under pressure otherwise they have to wait for the next season to be better and have their spot into top four now April is surely going to decider.
Jürgen Klopp is one of the coaches who made golden history for Liverpool since signing his contract on October 8, 2015. Klopp has won many titles with Liverpool, including 1 Premier League title, 1 Champions League title, 1 UEFA Super Cup title and several domestic titles. So it's really good to have him stay at Liverpool because he knows what he has to do for Liverpool. But his failure in the Champions League in 4 consecutive seasons does not have to make him bad among Liverpool supporters.

Liverpool still have a chance to qualify for the Champions League next season, but it all has to be done with hard work as their recent defeat against Bournemouth has left Liverpool even further behind Newcastle. Still there is a chance and it just depends on how the players complete the team missions.
1191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 15, 2023, 07:22:24 PM
you are right Napoli looks like it will be easy enough to qualify for the next round. Napoli won 2 goals away from home in the first leg which makes them more confident in the second leg match which they will play at their own stadium. my prediction maybe the score will be 2-1 in this second leg.

So if Napoli qualify for the next round, it means that the team from Serie A has 3 representatives in the top 8 and that is a pretty good record for them. from the premier league chelsea and manchester city have reached the last 8 but liverpool is likely to find it difficult to follow in the footsteps of these two teams. from Laliga most likely only real madrid and that's for sure because they won by a big score in the first leg but it's worth watching the match between real madrid vs liverpool.
In the end it may be true that Real madrid will qualify easily for the quarter-finals by only drawing 0-0 or something. It's okay to lose 0-2, but Real Madrid's current record is fantastic, especially since they won 6 of their last 7 matches against Liverpool in the Champions League.

I will watch this match for one reason, it is because I want to see how far Liverpool have a chance to qualify for the next round. It might be interesting if Liverpool could force Madrid into extra time, but it's definitely hard to tell without watching the match.

Alot of discussion about bounty hunters had been made previously to this one, it's not that having a bounty profile account is an offence against the forum rules but what they always post is much focused on altcoins and bounties reports which it you can remember that this forum is majorly a bitcoin discussion platform but other boards were added to make the whole thing fun altogether, because personally I don't see what any bounty hunter has benefited me o have warrant giving any merit.
If they don't make a profit, then I don't think they will stick around. But the problem is that their profits are disproportionate to what they do, but it seems worthy to those who are grateful for what it produces.

But maybe this discussion has gone off topic, I think OP should stop it and lock this thread. @m2017, it's time.
1193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 15, 2023, 07:08:47 PM
Jurgen Klopp will definitely play more pressing in this match, an attacking strategy is the most likely scheme to apply because playing defense is also not profitable for Liverpool in this match. Real Madrid's advantage in the first leg will make it very difficult for Liverpool to get up, let alone having a 5-2 aggregate and another advantage for Real Madrid who are playing at home with full support.

Real Madrid has a complete squad in this match while Liverpool have lost many main players due to injury, so Real Madrid's chances will be bigger and very favorite to win and in my opinion the game will not end in a draw.
Even if Liverpool only have a small chance of qualifying for the quarter-finals, it makes no sense why we should underestimate their mission today. Liverpool were not good in the first leg by not being able to stop Madrid's many goal chances, but today they have to play for one dream even though Liverpool have an unpleasant losing record in their last 7 matches against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

For Liverpool, it's a mission to get out of the wormhole, but let's see what happens in this match.
While the line-ups for the two teams have been announced:

Liverpool: Alisson, Andy Robertson, Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahim Konate, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Fabinho, James Milner,  Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota, Mohammad Salah, Cody Gakpo.
Real Madrid: Thibaut Courtois, Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao, Antonio Rudiger, Nacho, Toni Kroos, Eduardo Camavinga, Luka Modric, Federico Valverde, Vinicius Junior, Karim Benzema.
1194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 15, 2023, 06:57:53 PM
Five points is quite crucial for the remaining twelve games. But I think Arsenal are currently still the Favourites for the championship. The long wait certainly made Arteta even more excited for the champion. Arsenal have had a pretty good start to the season. This is what makes them take the lead. Even though in some games Man City had chances but Man City couldn't make good use of that.   Arteta also managed to change a lot of predictions, because I didn't choose Arsenal as potential champions at the beginning of the season either.
If I could change my choice in the polls, then I would find Arsenal this season as a potential champion because previously I chose Manchester City. LOL

But I'm kidding because I think Manchester City is still very likely to win the title this season even though Arsenal lead the standings with 5 points advantage. Nothing is impossible, while some of the tough matches that await are opportunities for anyone who can take advantage of them.
1195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 14, 2023, 07:53:16 PM
Real Madrid form has not been bad but their rating is fair regarding to the Real Madrid we use to know but so far so good the team was disturbed by injury which one of their key player Benzema to be precise was involved, vinicius has been one of the impactful players in this team whose goals has help his side to atleast push upward a little but i don't think there is anything to contest for again because the league is already at the end stage and it will favour Barcelona with the look of things.
A team like Real Madrid can of course play at a good level even if the results are sometimes disappointing. real madrid is currently 9 points behind barcelona, but their journey and their struggle this season is still long. There are 13 games they will play for the rest of the season, but Barcelona is looking to establish itself leading the table with a good advantage.

It's hard to expect Barcelona to slip this far even though it's very possible. Then I'm looking forward to El Clasico this week because I think this is the match that will determine how much chance Real Madrid has to defend its title this season. 9 points behind barcelona is really bad for Madrid, so of course really expect real madrid and Barcelona to really play one of the best El clasico matches out of many other next El clasicos.
1196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early bitcoin investment for my baby on: March 14, 2023, 07:44:50 PM
Since your goal is to hold thinking on long term results (18 years from now), you should think about storing your coins safely on your own hands. That is, to not rely on any third party online platforms to keep your coins stored. You need a hardware wallet and to control your own keys.

Without doing this, I guess it's suicide to hold for so long while trusting all your money to someone else, as we saw previously during the whole year of 2022 with so many big scams happening around and investors losing all their money, including retirements from decades.
Apart from that, OP is also obliged to consider having heirs for his assets or bitcoins because no one ever knows how long they will live.
He says the time frame is 18 years, so of course this suggestion would be good suggestion for him to think about even though he knows back up wallet is mandatory. It's not really good to have everything stored on centralized exchange anyway, unless he trades daily. However, because he is planning a long-term investment, of course having a safe wallet is the solution.
1197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: March 13, 2023, 05:47:33 PM
Any clubs that participated in the europa league have the same chances until they will have meed one each other. The main concern is if some clubs like MU and arsenal were the most favorites club in EPL. MU has more than enough to be able to get a spot in the last 8. Another team like arsenal still needs to make sure if it can be qualified for the next round.

Remember that we have some strong clubs that can't be underestimated like juventus, as roma and some bundesliga clubs as well. These clubs potentially to be very hard competitors for candidate from EPL.
I think that all of candidates from al liga will be eliminated during the next leg.

MU and arsenal are the most favorite but in this case i will also put juventus and as roma in the same level as MU and arsenal as well.
In my opinion, 6 of the 8 teams with the most potential to enter the top 8 are Arsenal, Roma, Juventus, Manchester United, Leverkusen and Sevilla. I'm not sure about the other 2 teams though it seems Union Berlin and Shakhtar Donetsk have a better chance. All the teams that will make the top 8 are pretty strong, so not too sure if we can guess correctly who will make it through to the semifinals.

Manchester United may be one of them, but Arsenal also seem more deserving of being in a higher phase instead of just qualifying for the top 8 this season. Juventus are also good, they are the favorites in the Europa League after Arsenal and Manchester United.
1198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 13, 2023, 05:15:30 PM
Salernitana have lost to all the top teams at home. I think tonight's game against Milan will be no exception. If Milan pick up three points today, they will be close to Inter in the standings. And if Milan lose, they risk losing their place to Roma or even Atalanta. All Milan need today is a win!  Salernita have no chance of even a draw.
There should be a chance for Salernitana to win or grab maximum points away from home against Milan. You shouldn't ignore even the slightest chance for the other team to win even though Salernitana is a team that finds it difficult to move above the relegation zone.

There is definitely a chance for a draw if Salernitana only focuses on total defense throughout the match. But anyway Milan are the favorites to win today's home match. The chances are good and Milan is more convincing to win this match than Salernitana.

In the first half Bilbao appeared pressing since the whistle sounded. Bilbao had some good chances, but it's a shame they weren't lucky enough to get a goal. But, Barcelona also had several chances but it's a shame that Lewandowski missed his good chance when he only faced one on one with the keeper. Finally, VAR allowed Raphinha's goal in injury time, although in my opinion, the goal was legitimate without VAR too.

The second half is expected to be more exciting because it's true that Barcelona's defense seems in trouble keeping the Bilbao players' movements tight. Several times a goal was almost created, but by chance it hit the crossbar. I think Ferran was not effective in this match, maybe he will be replaced by Ansu Fati to make Barcelona's attack more effective.
