1201  Economy / Speculation / Re: If history repeats itself: 2023 vs 2019 on: March 11, 2023, 07:34:45 AM
For this year there has been a gradual recovery that has occurred in bitcoin, although market conditions have also experienced a small correction and currently bitcoin is starting to be pressured at a price of $ 20K, if you look at the recovery process that took place at the beginning of the year to date, then to reach a price of $ 50K will be it's a bit of a stretch and there hasn't been any approach or process that's likely to bring bitcoin to that price, let alone no signs of anywhere near $30-$35K in the near future.

Not that important for the price of bitcoin this year in my opinion, but what we do will take bitcoin to the next ATH milestone and that means we should be able to spot opportunities before they become more bullish and a correction opportunity may be used to make a purchase.
Some say March is not a good month to expect bitcoin price to break through a lot of resistance. I think part of their opinion is right, and in fact the market also got FUD impact during March at this time.

It's hard to expect $25K to hit during March, but I can expect it to be better in April or before the middle of the year. $30K will be reached, it will definitely take time and need more demand, but let's hope the market will recover after the $19K drop in the previous 24 hours.
1202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 11, 2023, 07:28:18 AM
Yes, Liverpool have to undergo tough matches in the April period. But before looking at the relatively tough match, the Reds must of course be able to get past Bournemouth's obstacles first. After being able to overturn Manchester United, Liverpool seemed to have found their best rhythm again. If they can win over Bournemouth, then I'm pretty sure that Liverpool have indeed returned to the top level. And when they have a tough match in April, Liverpool will not be afraid of their opponent at all. Except in the Champions League, their chances of qualifying are very slim, Klopp should not think about that match again, he must focus on the primary league in order to achieve the target of finishing in the top four.
Liverpool are expected to beat Bournemouth and I tend to believe they can do it easily. Liverpool's form has improved so far, especially in the Premier League, but it's completely different in the Champions League.

Even so, I think Liverpool still have hope for a comeback and qualify for the quarter-finals of the Champions League this season. Real Madrid haven't been very good recently, and maybe Liverpool can take advantage of that. But Liverpool must have a good mentality because Real Madrid is the king of the Champions League.
1203  Other / Meta / Re: Whoops out of smerit. Should there be a way to buy some from theymos? on: March 11, 2023, 07:23:19 AM
It seems like the system just needs a tweak to fix this problem. I came up with two ideas.

Idea 1: Adjust sMerit per merit based on user rank from the time it is integrated forward. For example:

Legendary: Receives 2 sMerit per Merit received
Hero: Receives 1.5 sMerit per Merit received
Senior member: Receives 1.2 sMerit per Merit received
Full member and below: 1 sMerit per Merit received (No change)
Your idea is not bad, it can definitely help in some cases. But I don't think of it as one of the conditions that this system should change and the forum should implement this idea. Obviously your idea is to help users earn lots of sMerit every time they earn merit, but I tend don't see many cases where admin have to upgrade the merit system as long as merit sources are everywhere.

Merit sources don't work like robots to detect all quality posts, but there are ways to get them to pay attention to those posts if they do. I think this thread is one of them:

1. [self-moderated] Report unmerited good posts to Merit Source
1204  Economy / Reputation / Re: First Bitcoin earning (Signature) on: March 11, 2023, 06:13:05 AM
Exactly what has kept me going, no matter how little the knowledge and experience I have over something, is that I tried with those little ones to share it with whomever needs it, both on this forum and outside the forum.
You are no longer a whining child, so just do what you think is beneficial for yourself and other users. To interact with forum users you need knowledge, especially in technical discussions. You can get general knowledge easily on Google or other media, so try to talk less and do more what you have to do. Development needs process, sometimes you need a lot of time to grow better than other users.

You can motivate yourself in any way, keeping your consistency in the forum one way or another, it definitely takes a lot of patience and support. Help yourself with quality posts, you will earn merit, rank up and maybe will get chance to make money with a different way instead of signature campaign.
1205  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it legal for our kids to learn trade? on: March 11, 2023, 06:01:48 AM
I want to know if it right for children that are of 10-15years go in to trade or not because I have a kid friend of about 14years and very eager to learn trading but am scared of the lost and how long it will take him to understand what his doing, because it hasn't been very easy for me. So what your opinion please I need help? because I think is too risky for them to go in to trade for now.
Trading is a risky activity, not only for 10-15 year olds, but all traders will take that risk.
Children aged less than 15 years have more unstable emotions than children who are already teenagers. You may be able to infiltrate their cognitive abilities little by little, trying to teach them complex things and trying to help them control their emotions. But I'd be inclined to disapprove of teaching them about trading that fast.

I tend to agree more when parents succeed and help them in their academic pursuits rather than trying to get them to make money on their own when they are under 15 years old, but of course someone can disagree with me. Just follow the growth process as long as they are not ready about the complex issues of trading, and support them about the skills instead of teaching them trading.
1206  Economy / Reputation / Re: [FUN][In Merit] Post Count Down To Your Next Rank Here. on: March 10, 2023, 04:43:55 PM
Thank you to everyone who helped me today to increase my rank to Senior Member, I hope all of you are happy and also enjoy your days.
Great, you grabbed it quickly. Many users try to help you and it is really based on the quality of the posts you have. This should be emulated by most other users who want to get a high rank and they should know what they have to do to get it easily. Then congratulations for your rank up, keep up that quality.

In fact, you were not only helped to get 19 merits today for rank up, but you have earned 50+ merit in the last 24 hours.
1207  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think BTC would rise again? on: March 10, 2023, 04:36:57 PM
Bitcoin's lowest area last year was $15.5K, which means we have seen good gains in recent months although in recent weeks the declines have seemed worrying.

Profits were made during January to mid-February, but since bitcoin couldn't stay above $25K then I thought a drop was inevitable. After all, FUD worsened market conditions, traders panic was inevitable and the correction in the last few days was the impact. I took a fair amount of losses on the corection, but I tried to be patient and avoid the temptation to cut my losses. I'll hodl because I'm sure the market will recover.
1208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: March 10, 2023, 03:33:50 PM
Frankfurt wouldn't be able to win Napoli home and away, the club don't have the experience and players to win Napoli. As we all saw in Napoli's last match, they dominated and qualified easily to the next round. Napoli has a better chance of winning the match and will definitely qualify to the next stage. It is in the next stage that they might find it difficult to win the club that will be playing them. Don't get me wrong, I am not underestimating Frankfurt, they might shock me but this is my own observation from both clubs.
No one doubts Napoli this season in the Champions League as long as the opposing team is not a top team. Frankfurt is a team that has no better chance of qualifying for the quarter-finals, so it is true that Frankfurt will be very likely to fail and end their adventure this season at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.

I'd be really surprised if Napoli didn't qualify, that would be unbelievable. But I don't think that's going to happen, it's nearly impossible when they're in such really consistent form this season. For Serie A teams, I think only Napoli are the most convincing to qualify for the final this season, while Milan and Inter are not in my consideration.
1209  Economy / Speculation / Re: The BTC deep continues for the next SIX Months. on: March 10, 2023, 03:10:51 PM
Are you being serious there? What actually makes you think that the price of Bitcoin will go as low as $15.5k? I know everything is possible in a volatile market, but the bull circle is almost about to finish, and the price tends to go up from this point. Even if it goes down, it won't go any lower than $18k or by least $17k.

I understand that the price is showing some stability these days, and it might even get drop, but as I said, our target in the mind should be at around $20k, and then it will probably start rising up again as more buying pressure hits the market.
The price has dropped to $19.5K today (last 24 hours), but it is very possible to get a close at a price above $20K. The bear market was thought to have passed since bitcoin was above $23K in January and February, but March returned to the red and dropped below $20K. Of course I don't expect the price to correct deeper again during March, but it is still possible to get a downside since March usually doesn't support the bulls much.
1210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 10, 2023, 02:42:02 PM
It looks like there is money to be made on this weekend in the Premier League but I am not that confident in a Chelsea win especially after fighting hard against Dortmund in this week Champions League game.I would only bet on Tottenham vs Nottingham Forest on Tottenham to win as I doubt they have any excuse for not winning this game now that they are out of any international competition and as such their full focus will be the Premier League,to end this season at all cost in the top four so they can give another go to the Champions League next season.
Multi-bet looks very tempting this week, but still with their respective risks. Liverpool, Chelsea, Brentford, Tottenham and Manchester City look very convincing to win. I'm not sure about Brighton, but they could win at Leeds this week.

I consider Chelsea to win because Leicester has been in unsatisfactory form in their last 3 matches. Leicester lost 3 times in a row, while Chelsea appeared with the best confidence after their success in qualifying for the Champions League quarter-finals. Manchester City and Tottenham are the favorites in their respective fixtures, so multi bet for those teams seems convincing to me.
1211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 09, 2023, 06:47:40 PM
Everyone was surprised that Real Madrid drew with Real Betis, but this is football.  Anything is possible in this sport.  A team may not play well.  This could be Real Madrid.  They play very well in the champions league.  In La Liga, they will improve after a few games and they will win most of their games.
No, I'm not at all surprised by the goalless draw because basically Real Madrid are not in the best form to win the match.
Real Madrid were also held to a draw against 10-man Atletico Mardrid before the match against Barcelona in the Copa Del Rey, while Barcelona successfully beat Real Madrid before being held to a draw by Real Betis.

Even I wouldn't be surprised if Espanyol were able to hold Real Madrid regardless whether it's a draw or beating Real Madrid. It's by no means important, but Real Madrid have been really under pressure and are desperate to get out of form and fight for better.
1212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 09, 2023, 06:25:49 PM
manchester united is reportedly ready to offer €130 million to sign french midfielder Eduardo Camavinga from real madrid for the next season
Somehow I think it's an outrageous value for Eduardo Camavinga, but the transfer market has been getting crazier every year.
Eduardo Camavinga is a good defensive midfielder at Real Madrid, but I tend to think his price value is not what Manchester United are expecting from him. In fact, I can say Casemiro is better than the 20-year-old, even though Eduardo Camavinga has had a good profile at Real Madrid since joining at the end of August 2021.
1213  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: March 08, 2023, 07:29:25 PM
If you use the buy dip system, the profit will definitely be obtained but I think the goal is too simple if you have to stop and sell when the current price is still below so I think instead of having a pattern like this and regretting it when the price is high, it's better from now on not to have a lot of thoughts and just focus on the future.
On the first point, buy the dip and sell is what traders often do. While in this thread someone must find a way and be consistent about his investment goals where to buy the dip and hold.

The simple thing is that the short term gains from a trade sometimes just won't be worth the risk, so the extra consideration is to buy and hold for the long term in hopes of getting a decent return. But it looks like you have understood how it works, so just implement it.
1214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 08, 2023, 07:10:56 PM
The difference of 9 points in the football game is huge because there is doubt whether Madrid will be able to recover this point by playing the next 1 match. Because even if Madrid gets some points in the next match, Barcelona will win some more points and will be ahead of Madrid again. So how much Madrid can compete with Barcelona is doubtful. And I don't think Madrid will be able to overtake Barcelona in the point table
Anything is still possible, of course it is. But Barcelona has got good confidence from every one of their players to maintain their points advantage. In fact, I think they will no longer waste and belittle anyone in order to stay ahead of their eternal rival.

Barcelona needs win to maintain the advantage, while Real Madrid must keep winning so they can keep the distance or close the distance if Barcelona loses points. The next El Clasico match will be very important for both teams, but of course Barcelona will still excel even if they lose 1 or 2 matches. Ancelotti has not given up and he has sent threats to keep fighting until the end of the season, so the alarm will be high on the Barcelona side.
1215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: March 08, 2023, 07:04:24 PM
We hope they do as well as they have promised their fans. It was a humiliating defeat and a disgrace for a team that had been on a top form. I'm confident they'll recover quickly from the trauma of their loss to Liverpool. They still have a better chance against all odds of beating Real Betis and qualifying for the next round of Europa League competition. Ten Hag and his team will do well and not bring the entire team down, on that I can bet.
Of course, Ten Hag and all of his players felt obliged to give everything for the team after losing to Liverpool. The defeat may have an impact on the players' psyche, but they know what to do during the recovery process. There are games that they must win, there are titles that must be fought for, and they are paid for it by their owners.

But whatever happens in the next match against Real Betis is something that cannot be predicted precisely. Manchester United have a good chance, but so do Real Betis. Both teams have home matches, so there should be a chance to win the match.

1217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 06, 2023, 05:52:52 PM
Once again Real Madrid lost a very valuable point for them. With the results they got in this match it was very profitable for Barcelona because again their point gap was widening. I don't care how many chances they get, as long as it doesn't change the scoreboard then they don't win, neither in this game. There's a problem when Real Madrid are in La Liga, well it's not like they're playing in the Champions League. I'm starting to think that their first priority is the Champions League. Actually that makes sense, because points away from Barcelona are very difficult to catch.
Ancelotti did identify the problem, but he kept promising he would fight until the end of the season for the La Liga title. I'm not sure how important his promise is now because Real Madrid need points, not promises. Then Real Madrid have another difficult job waiting for them, that is because at the weekend they will play againt Espanyol.

Right now the 9 point gap between Real Madrid and Barcelona is difficult for Ancelotti, but what is clear is that they have chance to reduce that point gap in the upcoming El Clasico match. If Barcelona loses, then the points will only be 6 points different, but if Barcelona wins then it will only be 12 points clear.
1218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 06, 2023, 05:36:52 PM
To be honest I've always thought of Brentford as an outsider and a Championship team, but this season they've managed to do well and are even in 9th place in the standings... It's hard to guess who will win, but I think it will be Fulham... But I also think it could be a draw...
This is Brentford's second season in the Premier League since being promoted in the 2021/22 season. Last season Brentford was able to finish 13th in the final standings with 46 points from 13 wins and 7 draws and others defeats.

As an unseeded team I don't think Brentford will always be surprise, but they have been able to do well this season losing only 4 of their 23 matches so far. They are not great team, but hard to beat and they are real threat to Fulham today. A draw? That looks like possibility, but Brentford are playing at home and you might want to consider the odds too.
1219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 05, 2023, 07:17:28 PM
Look at me the statistics Liverpool control everything means that tonight Man United can't get anything out of a slump, we know Man United has been on a positive trend with a win but a 7-0 defeat is embarrassing in my opinion.
That's so very embarrassing, guys. 7 goals without reply is a truly fantastic victory for Liverpool. Every player was so excited until the end of the match even though they had scored a lot of goals. They didn't stop, if there were 10 minutes of added time then I think Liverpool could just really get 8 or 9 goals today.

This is new history that will be remembered forever and Manchester United will remember this as the worst game in the future. Maybe there will be the right words to appreciate Liverpool, but I'm thinking about it.
1220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 05, 2023, 06:59:55 PM
Maybe Barcelona got the win they wanted by 1-0 but the match wasn't easy for them at all. Lewandowski's absence was felt really much.

I must appreciate Busquets' marvelous assist to Raphinha first of all. It was an amazing lob pass and Raphinha turned it into a nice goal. But Barcelona couldn't show their usual dominance against Valencia in Camp Nou anyway. Valencia also found so many goal opportunities. But they were really incapable as for shots on target. Araujo took a big risk by getting that red card maybe. But I believe it was worth it otherwise there was going to be a one-on-one situation with ter Stegen. Maybe even thanks to this challenge they won the match.
Barcelona has the opportunity to double the lead to 2 goals if Ferran Torres doesn't waste his penalty opportunities. But it failed and made him regret it. I almost believed that Barcelona would lose or maybe drop points after Araujo's red card, but Barcelona managed to keep clean sheet and win the match.

But fortunately, Araujo will still play in the El Clasico match because he only got 1 match missed against Bilbao.
