ps. I cannot think of anything as useless or repugnant as replacing one bunch of power hungry greedy kleptocrats, with another, if nothing changes.

562  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 07, 2022, 08:11:05 PM
BTW.... everything going to be tokenised....... errrrrrry fucking thing.

And I personally am here for it, and I do not mean just BTC, and that BTC will be the only ever useful token, sorry I know some of y'all no likey.

The legacy system is totally fucked, its a walled garden, no democratisation, no equal access , none, nadda, zip, zilch, it is a walled garden, with a moat and angry saltwater crocodiles.

Personally, I am all up for ANYTHING that disrupts that, successfully.

I am confident enough in BTC, being BTC, and doing what BTC does best, that I do not ever sweat any other cryptocurrencies (yes there ARE more than 1, no matter what you say and there always fucking will be, no matter what you say) that I welcome the innovation, and I welcome any token that has the potential to be useful, and that will aid in dragging down disrupting the legacy system, and opening it up to the masses.

I never viewed BTC as a swiss army knife, dunno why anyone would want it to be tbh.

ps, if a really neat new token comes along, that is well designed, has great potential to grow, gains meaningful network effect, and solves problems, and is viable, and can solve a problem, or even open an alternative solution to a problem... then I will likely support it... even IF , BTC can also (perhaps eventually, or already) also solve the issue, be a part of the solution etc etc.

I like innovation, I like solutions, I like people that BUILD, I like things that help people, I like opportunity (for all)

If I didn't like all those things I would likely never have gotten into BTC.

I like disruption , when it is positive...

Somethings are retarded, for sure, and some things are not...... we have the market , over time to help validate which is which....

Personally, I HOPE to see more and more innovation, more and more building, more and more innovation, more and more problems solved, and more and more people , have their lives changed by opportunity/innovation.

Abundance mindset sirs.

Before, you get your tank-tops into a tangle.... I hope the same thing for BTC going forward too... obviously.

563  Economy / Speculation / Re: Only 150 transactions were made on day one of Coinbase's NFT marketplace on: May 07, 2022, 08:04:21 PM
That's how all these PnD scams work. It's that ol' saying, "Perception is nine tenths of reality". Fake [the market] until you make [the market]. Once you make the market, leave the poor bagholders holding a bunch of worthless junk, while you leave it behind with millions in profit.

They are doing the same bullshit tactics with Metaverse properties right now. Same scam, just a different medium.

I totally agree, as last time When Elon shows his interest to accept btc as payment to buy tesla etc, and than traditional people started to convert their stable into btc and dominance of btc increases, and it started to go to set new ath, but what happens is that elon sold his btc at new ath and declined to accept btc as payment and filled his own pockets,
Now the same is happening with ape nft as he updates his profile pic with it on Twitter, just to show his interest, many celebrities also bought ape NFT like justin Bieber etc they have strong fan following, I think this all is a honey pit and only the rich persons are going to more rich only,  sorry i write to many words,

...personally I think that Elon removed the capability to purchase Tesla with BTC, because, no fucker was using BTC to buy Teslas, and it looked embarrassing/bad.

...and why would any sane person choose to swap their BTC for a car?

Cars end up on scrap heaps... and a few of them , end up on scrap heaps, after they have peeled you off the metalwork.

Sell your wife, sell your kidney, use your BTC as collateral.

If you sell your BTC for a car, you are retarded.

BTC is not.... cash.

Think its fair to say, extremely fair to say that, in Ukraine right now, Both Russians and Ukrainians are doing some retarded, awful, insane, horrific shit to each other, to themselves, and to anyone that happens to be in their path.

That is what happens in a war, including, especially even, the wars we , the west, have started.....

It is not candy and picnics and puppies.

It is not a game to be cheerlead by anyone, and especially not fucking media cunts on any side.

Whole thing is a disaster, from every angle, every vantage point for Ukraine, for Russia, for both of their peoples and their children, and so it also is for the rest of the world.... just wait until those energy and food price hikes really kick in in 6-9 months or so....

....and that is just assuming things do not escalate.

It is a fuckin shit show.

Maybe a worry that Russia will collapse?

Vyacheslav Volodin, the Chairman of Russia’s State Duma, also commented on the report on Thursday. In his Telegram post, he claimed that the “militants at Azovstal had suggested swapping the remaining civilians there for food and medicine.” Volodin also revealed the terms of the alleged deal – “fifteen hostages for a ton of food, as well as medicine.” He also added that the Ukrainian troops supposedly “warned that they would no longer release anyone to Ukraine,” but rather exchange for goods.

The Russian politician accused the Ukrainian forces of having first lured civilians into the steelworks, only to later use them as human shields and attempt to trade them for food. According to Volodin, the besieged pro-Kiev troops effectively equated a human life with 66.6 kilograms of goods. The Russian official claimed that the Ukrainian fighters were only interested in saving their own hides.

He described this behavior as typical of “terrorists.”

At least this is supposedly from the horses mouth......... though I would not be surprised if this is bullshit too tbh.... could be legit, but could not be

And yesterday they claimed that Ukraine was using black magic, they are truly desperate now.

https://www.ibtimes.sg/ukraine-accused-using-black-magic-against-russians-state-media-makes-bizarre-claim-satanic-64440

Who is "they" ?

Is it a bunch of journalists/news presenters ?

Can't trust journalists, or news presenters, especially ones from a country at war....neither Russian, Ukrainian, American, British etc etc

They are just filling their airwaves with wall to wall waffle, struggling to find shit to say, in their own propaganda push.... not surprising.

Doubt putin is getting updates about the "black magic risk"

Do you never read the newspapers?

Fuck no. Why? Do you?

Winner winner chicken dinner.

Newspaper have but one purpose to a thinking man, and that is to read between the lines, what they do not say is just as important as what they do say, and what they do say is to be analysed , and dissected for the underlaying narrative being pushed... and then , with a context of the historical understanding of the situation, decoded.

The actual words they print are generally 99% bulllllllshit......

.....and I am a little surprised that anyone in this thread does not get that yet.

Nonsense - snip

Please check out "Gell-Mann amnesia" and "Knolls law"

Realise that journalists are generally jacks of all trades and masters of non, not to mention that "journalism" has fallen a long way, and that much of the trash that makes it to "print" these days, either online or on paper, or that is rattled off on screen/radio, is woke infested trash spewed by junior interns at one shitty hack rag and then regurgitated by all the others....

..... and that is of course if it makes it past the editors, who of course, often, HAVE THEIR ORDERS FROM THEIR SPECIFIC GOVERNMENTS, as to what they can say, and cannot say, what they want them to say, not say, what breeches national security , what is gagged, what their sponsors/advertisers are sensitive to, what the media organisations OWNERS want them to say,  what the lawyers have given the go ahead to release etc etc.

If you think that the media is not used to propagate and disseminate whatever the narrative of the day is by governments and corporations globally, then,  I dunno what to tell you.

It is a curious fact that you can point to propaganda in history, and people can recognise it, but that people seem to think that propaganda is just something that "used to happen" or that "happens to other people" and then fail to recognise that they are also subjected to propaganda , and that propaganda is very much alive and well and kicking and all around them,  all the time TODAY.

"Newspapers" are NOTHING more than another "source" , and the information given by them is to be treated as such, dissected, decoded, taken into context, both historical context, and of the broader subject matter that have synergy with the topic(s) in question.

If you see something in "the newspapers" and automatically believe it , without any critical thinking, or background understanding, or context..... then you are doing it wrong.

And yes, being able to spot what is NOT being said, is just as important as reading what IS being said (which makes having historical context of the subject matter all the more important)

Please be better, this is rudimentary stuff.

ps- Also, in this 24/7 news cycle we now live in, as the quantity of "newses" has gone up, the quality has gone down, and these rags are all so hungry and desperate to keep up with each other, and the news cycle, that nowadays even tweets=newsworthy. lol

pps, let alone Gell-mann amnesia, when it comes to the news, people just seem to have fucking straight up amnesia.... which is hilarious, I mean how many lies, and false narratives, cheap shots, and mistakes, and propaganda do they have to feed people, before people think.... huh fool me once shame on you , fool me twice shame on me.

If we’re going to make COVID-19 the last pandemic, we need the GERM team.

yuh, about that Bill, we already had one, problem is, that it was ignored, also , as it turns out, was totally untrustworthy

Also, lemme guess Billy, this needs to be a "global team" right, with "global coordination" and.......global "surveillance".......

Noah Harari just jizzed in his knickers a little...

No , I don't want no fucking surveillance "under my skin" Noah/Bill/Klaus.... I would rather die bleeding outta my ass and suffocating on the floor.

p.s Fuck you bill, you suck

p.p.s meh it is too late anyways, we have sleep walked into their brave new world....

Soma me up baby
