Massive premine PLUS 5% dev fee .. are you guys ok?
I am not touching anything these days if it has: 1. ICO 2. Presale 3. MN sale 4. Premine Only interested in coins that have 0 premine fair launch and no ICO or presale. Everything else is to risky to be a scam.

any mining reward benchmarks?
According to history, miners lose a ton of money supporting MasterNode tokens
It all depends on the coin really. Proton has a scheme where 85% of mining rewards go to masternodes and 15% to miner. So its MN oriented. If you wan't to mine it or not is your decision. You don't need to sell it, you might want to hold and buy a MN.

For those in doubt. I can tell you that I am with the project on Discord form day 1. And the devs just give good vibes. They work hard and fast and I don't think they are scammer. Ofc I could be wrong but if they are then they are really good ones People give the project a chance because I think they actually do try to help people. And if all will be done transparently then there is no room for manipulation. To devs and everyone I propose this. Blockchain's one of the most prominant features, is that everyone owns the whole transactions log, so basically it can be monitored and nothing can be hidden. To the devs I propose they find a way around cryponight anonimity, because this project does not need anonimity in the contrary, everybody should be able to check every address. We should have a rich list and list of all charity related transactions. The more open you are the more community will be willing to participate. Thats my 2 cents.

Tested on Linux today (fresh install).
- RX 580: 3.2 MH/s - RX 470: 2.5 MH/s
I am sure I could do better but I have no experience with overclocking under Linux. My rigs are Win 10, so eagerly awaiting the Windows version. The miner worked without flaws, but I did not test for extended periods of time.

They had the page yesterday, but decided to do it better so its in the rework. I think its the same for GUI wallet. Just come to Discord, its very active there and the devs will help you.
Anyway the page and wallet should be available again shortly.

Hi guys, I am getting a offer for brand new XFX RX 470 RS 4g for approx $360. Should I buy it even though Bitmain will release ethash miner. Once they are sold out I won't be able to get them at this price again. The closest I will get will be $446 for RX 570 4gb or $453 for RX580 4gb.
I could buy 6 or 12 cards. What do you think or should I wait for Nvidia cards.
To expensive. Just wait. They will be sold for 200$ soon.

For you out there, that are wondering if that is another Cryptonight shitcoin I can tell you its not. I was sceptical when I first saw the ANN, but after being in their Discord for the last two days I can tell you its going to be an amazing project. Can I be wrong?
Sure, but I have not seen such violent start yet. The devs are really really active and the idea is nice (although it has been done by others before). What I thinks sets it appart from similar projects is simply that I feel the competence of the devs and that is the most important thing. They have vision and skills, at least IMHO.
So check it out and be a part of possibly great charity oriented project. And no I am in no means affiliated with them in any way. I just have good vibes about the project, that is all. I have also not invested anything, all I do is mine and participate in the Discord.

I did that from the start, managed to clear less than 300MB Did not work for me... That's why I started the thread, just because I cannot find what's causing this issue. I have also restarted the PC a couple of time, in case something has caused a bug in the system, but still nada. Run that: https://windirstat.net/It will give you a very accurate picture of what is using your HDD space

Last time I checked Tutrle had 0 buyers, so good luck selling it. Always check markets and daily volume before mining a small coin.

amd has a problem with mining. xmr-stak-amd does not work. I tried a lot but failed. let me know.
let using CryptoNote v11.3, It is Cryptonight not V7 or Heavey. -xpool stratum+tcp://pool.solace-coin.com:4444 -xwal Wallet -xpsw x -dmem 0 Its currently on the old clasic Cryptonight algorithm. It will change in the future.

Just for the heads up, there is a lot of work being done on QBIC. Interesting time ahead. So stay tuned I think the price will go up a lot this year.

Hi everybody, I see an empty "peers list" in my MAC OS X QBIC Wallet. Can I somehow add peers into that list? Thanks a lot!
Join discord, you will get help there more easily. Hard to talk over forums

I also watch this thread with great interest. AMD needs some more versatility against NVIDIA. I think the cards are capable but lack of optimized miners is holding AMD back. 3% dev fee is fine if you will really make such an improvement. You get paid for quality work. I have no problem with that.

I am runing the problematic rig out of two for two days now without any issues. And I bet it could run for a long time if I don't tuch it. But some days it decides to crash every few hours. Probably issue with mixed cards, but can't help it.
|
|
|
Yea I know. I have two rigs. First is 3x RX 470 + 1x R9 380 Second is 4x RX 580 + 1x R9 290x + 1x R9 380. The first one is rock stable, the second one gives me problems. But due to the prices of the cards that was the best I could put together. All cards are used and working fine. When I stabilize the second rig it works days without problems, but some days it just crashes every hour or so. Oh well buy cheap, play cheap Waiting for card prices to go down so I can buy a proper rig. NVIDIA most likely as its more versatile atm.

Hi !
This is a great suggestion.. we're on the same wavelength, friend! We're in fact preparing our first report and should have it ready to go by next week. The frequency in which we release will be fluid, but the idea is, as you mentioned, to keep the community informed and confident in the project.. as well as hold ourselves accountable! Thanks again for the suggestion...
Dr.eW
Dr.Ew. That is great news. I think that constant release of info will greatly benefit the project.

I am swapping my "big boy" CPUs and AMD GPUs over to Monero as of now... huge profit boost.
You already missed the profit boost.
|
|
|
Hm, diffiulty rose 100 MH in a day. So that is 100.000 KH. That mean more then 100.000 RX 580 cards. Man that is a lot of power moving to Monero.
|
|

soon video cards will be sold at a price per kilogram and a lot of upset home home miners I really hope they will. So I can buy them.

Hi guys, Please recommend a XMC pool, THX! This is the Monero thread, not the XMC thread
So far Monero, Sumokoin and Stellite have changed Algo. IPBC is doing it in less then a week. They opted for a heavily changed algo which should be even harder to crack that Sumokoin one.
Is IPBC just increasing the scratchpad size? I don't think that'd help things, we saw with the Balkai ASIC that it didn't seem to change much (the Balkai could do CryptoNight and CryptoNight-Lite) They will increase the size yes. But I think they are also changing some others things. That is why its taking them long. They wan't to do the best algo change out of all Cryponight coins. I think that is very good, but we will see. I really like the IPBC project. Otherwise I bow down to Monero devs and community for sticking it up the ass for ASICs. Monero gained a lot of reputation in my eyes.
