I just looked at the roadmap and for Q1 2019 I read SSOT Health Insurance Blockchain Framework Release. Do I understand correctly that there will be a separate health insurance from SSOT?
SSOT is not planning own health insurance services, but we help expedite the insurance claims for the patients and hospitals using smart contract enabled claim services. We are expecting our SEHR tokens will be an instrument to pay insurance premiums, doctor visits co-pay, pharmacy co-pay ect, however, we have not finalized the blueprint yet. As when ready surely this forum will come to know. Thanks! |

I like this and the fact that they are targeting several part of the world, Germany language is a good one, i hope to see other language translation soonest  I agree they are targeting popular languages i think they will also bring a Chinese version it is very smart this way you can attract companies which are not so good in English. This is a good one from SSOT health, this a great way of approaching the market and making this project visible and also increasing the chance of expanding to other parts of the world. Yes, we are planning to go global! But we wanted to finalize the Piloting and Beta in Boston, USA first  |

SCOTT Health platform built an AI algorithm to help pharmacies and drug manufacturers in the supply chain process.
Wow.. This sound good and it sounds like it is going to make decision making for the pharmacist and drug manufacturers in selecting drugs to give to patients... Am i wrong? I do not know if AI will pick the drugs. I think this decision will continue to be made by the doctor. maybe there is support by the AI. Or the AI is used quite differently. maybe someone can explain it to us once Care providers like Doctors and Physicians only can provide Prescription. AI play a role is dispensing/delivering the drug by analyzing the data and making sure right drug delivered to the right patients at right time with the right dosage. In the US alone, about 6% of the patient' death is related to poor drug management. We believe using AI/ML with Blockchain should able to solve the problem. |

Guys I found out SSOT TEAM will e be going to Washington DC for World Health Conference. I hope the conference is a successful one I know SSOT will do exceptionally well.
I really hope they learn alot and do well in the conference.. Ssot team should be able share ideas and other experiences to help with the project. When is the event coming up exactly? And if it's going to be livestream, I'd like to follow up the event as it's going to be interesting dealing with health Conference dates from 29th Apr to 2nd of May, not sure they offer live stream, but we will elt you know. |

We are from the US, Education background of Devs: Masters Degree and PhDs from Brandeis University, MIT, Boston University and Harvard University experience in Blockchain: CEO worked in a Major Bank and was leading ripple based solution to a Global bank. Reading from your whitepaper in the "Our vision" part it was stated that you intend to move from poor data security which is the current approach to the blockchain enabled data security which in turn is the core of the SSOT framework, what security measures are you looking at implementing?? because as far as i know especially in recent times there have been some reported case of "blockchain hack" I sincerely don't know how that's possible or how its been carried out even, but i will be glad if some more light is thrown in the area of Data security promised by the SSOT team.
Good Question! By storing information across a network of computers, the task of compromising data becomes much more difficult for hackers. Instead of having to breach just one server, falsifying a health record or making a fraudulent transaction on a blockchain can only be achieved if the majority of the network is compromised. Hacking a single server can be extremely difficult, even for the most accomplished cybercriminals. Being able to compromise enough servers to falsify records on the blockchain is practically impossible, especially as hackers would need to breach each node simultaneously is that what you call the 51 attack; if the hacker has 51% of the processing power then he will be able to fork and manipulate the chain. If I understand correctly you are working towards making it hard to hack a single machine? The blockchain is not easy to hack from what I have read of its structure since there isn't a single entity with a fall blockchain; rather multiple servers. It would make sense for the medical records to be hosted in such a manner. is SSOT planning to do something different? Yes, We would like to prevent 51% attack. The should be a correction, it should read instead of saying 'Single server ' it should say 'multiple nodes'. we agree with you that we have to have protection in health records..considering HIPPA and HL7 protocol. we are continually exploring the optimum blockchain security architecture, which we will believe an evolving challenge! |

Healthcare project is one thing that is needed for everyone.
With the project, hopefully it could provide everyone with good medical attention when needed.
It is indeed a huge industry which is still using all the old technology. Look at the NHS with the XP attack (WannaCry) it just goes to show how behind the health industry is and the positive impacts crypto/blockchain can have on the medical industry! I think the number one value of going blockchain for medical sector is to enable portability between various doctors/hospitals heck even countries. It is quite messy as is now and I think the blockchain fuels that value greatly. Have to agree especially in "third world" countries, and even what i'd call second world, (caribbean islands etc) the portability of being able to shift medical records around would be a vast improvement, not to mention the ability to key things and restrict access, and put the control of my medical records really in my own hands. That wannacry attack i think was a big wake up call for the industry, or at least i hope it was. Especially I want to know who have access to my medical records and what are my records. I think they should secure and with SSOT Blockchain health they would be secure. Medical records access ONLY by YOU and your Doctor. However, Patient/Doctor can open up some data to care providers. Example, if a patient is diabetic, A1C data will be available for the care providers who have to know it. |

Developers can develop the applications and execute smart contracts using our SEHR tokens. Thank you! Glad to see a non-profit coming to action. That is a smart move because I think normal users would trust the service knowing the data is not centralized or not governed by a closed entity. Let us see how this progresses. I may have misunderstood, but what exactly it mean by non-profit organisation? I mean if organisation is not getting any profit then how or what benefits token holder will get? Also, if it's a non-profit organisation, does this essentially make it almost a 'charity' as such.... Friendly community ? I would like to know how the profit is going to maintain profitability with it being a non-profit organisation and how will they continue to run the business? Contribution and support by the community members 2. Token reserves by The foundation 3. I am just curious though; how are you planning to utilize the tokens reserved? you will be liquidating as needed and when needed or use it for trade? Reserved token will be used as below: 1. Developers in the community will be incentivized with tokens as they contributing to the product development 2. Patients / Individual will be incentivized with tokens when they download Secured Personal Health Records ( www.ssothealth.org/solutions) SPHR. Also, they will be incentivized when they ready to sell their data anonymous data 3. Incentivise with tokens for rural and community hospitals which are, financially struggling, tire need financial help.
