I just received my Xapo debit card and it works pretty well. It's funny to think that if I receive my wages (I can't since my employer is not in US) through https://www.bitwage.co/ to my Xapo bitcoin address I can literally be 100% functional in society with no bank account. I can even mitigate the risks of volatility with https://bitreserve.org/My mind is kind of blown out. that is FREAKING AWESOME dude so even though you are in canada, the funds in the card are in USD is this correct? If it is correct is there some reason why it is not in Canadian dollars. Again let me say how cool it is, if i may ask how long did it take you to receive the card from when you order it. If you come to the USA are you able to use the card in the USA and IF you use the card in the USA will you have to pay the 3% conversion? This is him essentially using a "bank" (xapo) and whenever he uses his card he is essentially selling bitcoin. I would much rather see a higher merchant adoption rate then more people using xapo

I just want to go on record and say that I am in fact 15 years old. I told segvec that I am 20 out of fear of losing future business deals and people not taking me serious etc. Despite my young age, I actually acted like a man while doing business, and delivered all my promises while all segvec is doing now is hiding like a coward and mocking, taunting and toying with me WHILE he has my funds. segvec, why do you think that info I gave you such as Western Union info, bank info etc were all those of my parents? As xetsr and Blazedout have said, you live and learn right? Too bad this money went to dust though, doesn't really help with the financial situation my family is in now. segvec hope you enjoyed SCAMMING A KID who hasn't even finished high school yet.
What the hell is a 15 year old doing buying over $7,000 worth of bitcoin? What is a 15 year old doing even having $7k period (the 5k deal plus the two 1k deals that you said you previoiusly did)

This will be my final post here with all seriousness.
I am not scamming HBO. There are a bunch of Internet trolls here and wannabe mods. At the end of the day, I am a ghost. Let's admit it. I can successfully scam him and get away with it. It's easy. Buy a hero for 1 BTC and move forward. It's cake. However, I offered to get his payment come February of 2015. He made this thread for a reason I am unaware of. It sucks to wait but at least you are getting it. No? I have plenty of funds, more than enough to cover this. Sadly, I did not make the mistake which means I will not be covering it from my own pocket. All of those who commented apart from xetsr and mark have little to no Bitcoin. You guys are in this just for the drama and attention. I don't want to hear any shit about you should pay out of own pocket, blah blah blah. It's not going to happen. This is a my way or the highway type ordeal. Regardless, HBO will get paid. Now, continue coming at my throat for no reason. Whatever floats the bitcointalk members boats.
Thanks again. Ciao.
If you are using skype then you are almost certainly not a "ghost". It is my understanding that skype does not accept connections from tor exit nodes, and you will need to trust any VPN when they say they do not keep logs (if that is how you are keeping yourself a "ghost") What if he chained 6 or 7 socks 5 proxies, used vmware, rdp etc? It would still be possible. I somewhat doubt that he was/is doing that anyway. He doesn't have that big of a reason to need to be anon as he claims he is, especially considering the fact that he claims to not have intended to scam You don't escape shadowcrew, carders, cp.cc, blackshades.su, etc by browsing the forums with no security. Get real. I guess we will find out soon enough. Very true. Bye all, this is my last post on the entire forum. HBO, shoot me a PM January 1st for an update. Thanks for your patience and sorry things had to happen this way. - Seg I don't see why you aren't going to pay him back from your own pock and then have your partner reimburse you when he gets his tax return (assuming your previous statements are true). If you were making 10% from each trade and you did 100k+ in trades last month then you would be making $10k+ each month (lets call it $2,500 and the rest goes to your partner). That means that you would have made over $5,000 (or 20k if we use my original number) between now and the time you *might* get your reputation back, and for all intensive purposes will not be able to trade from this account until he is repaid.

I also see that I have a payment of .0007 on my profile, 1 post made so far, but no payment to my BTC address. Does your system count posts every 'n' amount of time and update the payment field for each day, then payout all that is due (up to .035) at the end of the week?
https://blockchain.info/address/179wo1cGMxuzySJyXovYgeSiZ8Qjby3jJPYou've received the first payment (it is usually 0.0 BTC, but you've posted quickly right after registration, so the system counted post and paid). The next payment after 1 week. Ahhh, I see it now. It must have taken a few minutes for it to register on your end and to send the TX to me I like this sytem better then most other campaigns. You can only make 50 posts per week but there are not many people that will post very much more then that

What happens if we leave and want to come back? How are payments handled if we made post before we are paid? Do we lose the credit for those posts?

The Chinese with their huge reserves of dollars are the most potent. However, it is in their interest to see the dollar flourish. This is correct. If the Chinese were to sell their dollar holdings then they would stand to lose a very large amount of money on losses on both their additional dollars they were not able to tell as well as their US government debt that would be trading at lower prices

Fund managers need to have control of the funds in order to invest them where they think it's profitable.
This is exactly the problem with the OP's proposial. The reason people pay so much to hedge fund managers (via fees) is to allow people who have a lot of experience investing money to invest their money. If someone wanted to let the "community" invest their money for them then they would handle their investments themselves

I know I wont be using any "POS-coin distributed by a government or a really large organisation". I will be using bitcoin forever.
You're part of a tiny minority being dogmatic about money. I should add that you may be right. I think many coins will come and go. However I only trust open-source decentralized currency. For me the concern is about control. Any distributed coin has it's price, distribution, and supply controlled by some entity. The temptation to manipulate such a currency is just to much for any authority to ignore. What you end up with are frequent flyer miles. I have no use for coupons. He may be correct, however people will not use any kind of PoS coin above bitcoin in any large number. Bitcoin already offers many more features then any other altcoin can offer and is much more secure so there is no real reason to use any altcoin

Question: What are all of you going to do when the dollar doesn't collapse? Some of you need to give me a date when it will collapse so you can admit you were wrong the entire time.
Well many people on these forums will look at the long term decline in the value of the dollar via inflation and will assume that such a trajectory will continue over the short term. What they generally do not understand is that the numbers make use of compound interest so even a small increase in inflation will have a great effect on the purchasing power on the dollar from 100 years ago

Yeah, you just keep avoiding giving an actual answer because you don't have an answer. You're just saying words that mean nothing. I have some questions for you: Is a check a contract? Should a prudent man understand every contract before signing it? What does "authorized signature" mean and why is it "fine print"? A check is a form of a contract yes, however a very simple one. It is essentially a promise to pay a certain amount that is payable by the bank the check is drawn on

IT's hard to get profit from arbitrage advice I think you should use tradinf bot, it will give you more profit than arbitrage bot. And you need to prepare a lot of things to get started. If you only have small money/bitcoin to start, your profit will be extremely low / don't get any profit because some other cost. Altcoin trading / arbitrage is much more profitable, even the risk is higher So, which bot is profitable where I can enjoy the sun and let the bot do the work? There is no such thing as free money, and this is what you are asking for. The overall opportunities for arbitrage have generally fallen because bitcoin markets have gotten more efficient, and the difference of prices between exchanges has generally fallen to below the trading costs at exchanges

It has a small balance for verification purposes only.
How small of a balance does it have? Is it possible to get one with a larger balance? or are they only to be used for "verification purposes"
