2001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CENTRA Founders Starting Another Shady ICO - Phantom Core? on: August 14, 2018, 12:54:44 PM
Whether it's a scam or not, better to just stay away from this one. The risk is too high, not worth it
It's an obvious scam and you can see the evidence through SEC report about centra was being alleged as a scam project. The CEO of centra has already arrested by US security and phantom just another scam project of centra scammer developers. I heard these scammers have been banning so many people from their telegram group.

I hope people will not be fooled for the second time. Even if they now have good intentions, which I do not believe, the crypto community should show that there is no place for cheaters. The best solution is not to get involved in this project.
2002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto money will kill fake money on: August 13, 2018, 01:02:04 PM
Everything in our lives is now in our phones.
Why should we carry a wallet or credit card?
I really do not understand that.
millions of counterfeit money is printed every day
There's a lot of fake money in the world.
Can credit cards prevent this?
Bitcoin will kill them.

Even if that can happen, then isn't it possible to compare the fake fiat currency to a scam ICO here in cryptocurrency market? Both are same fraudulent and is a scam.

Right, scammers will always find a way to steal someone. As you have noticed in the world of krypto, the equivalent of fiat money is fraudulent. They create tokens that are only used to extort money from investors.
2003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we continue to participate in aridrop projects? on: August 13, 2018, 12:45:28 PM
Why not? There are a lot of legit ICOs and airdrops who pay. The time and effort who you do for an airdrop are minimum and it takes a little time. So I think that you need to continue with airdrops. but you just study the projects well, do not get join in bad projects, take quality rather than quantity.

Just joining the airdrop is actually quite short. But studying the projects and finding this good already takes a lot of time. The effort put into the search is inaccessible to the reward received for participating in the airdop.
2004  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: How is bitcoin supposed to be? on: August 10, 2018, 02:56:53 PM
If you search at the google about bitcoin for criminals, there is a lot.
For example at this link https://www.thesun.co.uk/tech/5092224/criminals-use-bitcoin-for-dark-web-illegal-activity/amp/.
So if there is nothing correct regulations, maybe a lot of countries will be block this payment system.
And as the effects, price of BTC will be drop soon.
So let's start to discuss, what it the right regulations to avoid Bitcoin used as a payment for crime.

Im starting to think that bitcoin was made for crimes, maintained by great minds.

This statement is very harmful for the crypto environment. Each currency can be used for criminal activities. Fiat money has been used for all types of fraud for years. It is simply necessary to take measures to limit this type of activity.
2005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you think Eth will break $2,000? on: August 10, 2018, 02:28:15 PM
I think Ethereum will be able to reach the 2000$ mark by the end of next year. Although it is possible before, but this year just will not reach such a course.

I guess we will have to wait for it for a long time. It certainly will not happen this year. It all depends on the bitcoin situation, and this one is not good at the moment. In addition, remember about ATH, which was well below $ 2,000. Eth can reach this price over several years.
2006  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can the global crisis affect crypto? on: August 09, 2018, 03:15:24 PM
What do you think will happen to the crypto market if there is an economic crisis around the world?
This topic is very interesting for me, so I would like to hear your thoughts.

The economic crisis may have a positive impact on the cryptocurrency market. People then lose confidence in traditional currencies and are more likely to take alternatives. This was the case during the last crisis in 2008, during which interest in bitcoin increased significantly.
2007  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee President? on: August 09, 2018, 02:37:41 PM

We have to support John to become president he ill ban fiat money , and make cryptocurrendy's as it's stated in thier name currency's , cause right now no one is seeing as currency's we are in it for the money , and those that are outside the market see it as a high risk speculation.

You think that even if he becomes president, he will immediately ban fiat money and set up the crypto as a valid currency. Everyone can dream, but it will not happen. It does not work in such a way that the president can do anything. There is also FED, banks ...
2008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ripple ever reach $5 ? on: August 09, 2018, 02:02:06 PM
Do not worry! When the market begins to recover, all altcoins will go up and ripple too! Just have to wait and not sell cheap!

And you think that ripple is able to grow to reach 5$. This is probably too high expectations for this currency. To raise the price of xrp to this level, a lot of investors with even more money are needed.
2009  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: General use of bitcoin as a legal currency on: August 08, 2018, 12:20:28 PM
The whole idea behind bitcoin is rather young, and since it is revolutionary, it takes time to spread. Also, cryptocurrencies are governed by people, not institutions, and this is why some countries are doubtful.

Because cryptocurrencies are managed by people, governments do not show much willingness to legalize them. They can not control the crypto so they try to introduce restrictions in using the crypto. Crypto verification will be a long term process requiring proper regulation.
2010  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do bounty hunters become ICO investors? on: August 08, 2018, 11:28:45 AM
Well difficult to answer I have never invested in an ico, I think hunters are not very rich people to invest in projects , I think they are only involved in the bounty company and all

No need to have a lot of money to become an investor. If the bounty hunters do not sell the tokens they received for work at once, but keep tokens counting on future profits, I think they can be called small investors.
2011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin investment? on: August 06, 2018, 12:35:26 PM
I am new to cryptocurreny ,I am thinking of investing into altcoin but seeing the downfall in it should I go for the investment for a good future .

Certainly several altcoins are worth the investment. Not all. You have to carefully choose the coins to buy so that you do not stay with useless shitcoins later. In current market conditions, it is better to invest in coins that are highly listed.
2012  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BMW now accepts Bitcoin as a payment! on: August 06, 2018, 12:21:25 PM
It is great to hear that BMW is the first from automotive concerns who would go for cryptocurrency acceptance, also I really love the news about Samsung going along with Bitcoin. Those news are greatly appreciated.

Not BMW accepts payment of bitcoin only one dealer. And exactly a car dealership based in South-East England. There is no information from BMW that they accept btc payments. In addition, Samsung issued a statement saying that it does not accept bitcoin payments. It's probably sellers in the Baltic countries accept such payments.
2013  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the usual mistakes that newbie traders usually do? on: August 06, 2018, 12:10:44 PM
I believe the usual mistakes is to buy high and sell low. This happens because of lack of experience and panic.

Newbie mistakes resulting from a small experience with trading. They react very emotionally to market situations. Fake news, FOMO have a very negative impact on their decisions. They often make purchases without research, so they buy shitcoins, which are hard to get rid of afterwards.
2014  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where to invest? on: August 03, 2018, 03:50:16 PM
I have $500 and I want to invest it wisely. tell me successful altcoins where you can send my money.

I think you have to make the decision yourself. No one can predict with 100% certainty that altcoins will earn. You can suggest opinions on the forum, but even then, do your own analysis of the coins you want to buy. If you do not have the time or knowledge about it and don't want to lose money, consider investing in coins that have a solid foundation like eth or btc.
2015  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why I don't Support KYC in cryptocurrency as it is on: August 03, 2018, 02:35:54 PM
I don't like KYC too for bounty hunters especially on airdrops as it concerns one's identity,Hope kyc things will come to an end for bounty hunters soon.

It should not be at all KYC for bounty hunters and airdrops. Their awards are small and in principle they are not investors. For a small amount of tokens they are forced to share personal data with people or companies, about which they really know very little. The ICO team should pass KYC and make the data publicly available if they require it from the participants.
2016  Economy / Economics / Re: When will smartphones used for bitcoin mining? on: August 02, 2018, 09:31:05 AM
Using a smartphone to mining cryptocurrencies is likely to damage it by overheating. Using a smartphone for this purpose quickly consumes the battery, which means that it still needs to be connected to a power source. And that makes it very difficult to use.
2017  Economy / Economics / Re: If USD falls on: August 01, 2018, 02:05:44 PM
high possibility that USD will fall  to the ground in the following five years and the bitcoin will also go through a hard time in the future.

What is your reason to believe that the USD will fall in the next 5 years? The influence of USD on the world economy is too large to just fall to the ground. There would have to be some powerful economic disaster or another that would happen. Such a situation could have positive consequences for bitcoin by increasing people's confidence in the cryptocurrency.
2018  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why KYC is important? on: July 31, 2018, 04:27:58 PM
KYC is stands for "Know Your Customer" and i think this is a system that identifies the true identity of a participants. And this KYC is important in order to validate cheaters and those scammers. But sometimes it can be used also by those scammers also by pretending to have a n ICO and will ask your information for their own benefit like using your information for bad intention and  this is the disadvantage of KYC system implemented.

It would be great if the development team passed kyc before running ico, then there would be less scam. It seems to me that such a rule will soon be introduced

They should start from this. Before the ICO procedure starts, all team members should go through the KYC procedure. Maybe it would actually reduce the amount of fraud. It's investors who risk their money because they usually get cheated. Requiring KYC from bounty hunters or airdrops participants is a complete misunderstanding.
2019  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Diversification is for idiots" - Mark Cuban on: July 30, 2018, 05:00:56 PM
I don't recommend holding too many coins. I suggest that only the currency of potential and value is held. Because there is too much to hold. When all the prices are down. Your profit will be compressed very small.

In fact, holding too many coins can be too difficult to control. Diversification is good for me. With a few promising coins in your wallet you can expect a very decent profit.
2020  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will NEO become strong? on: July 30, 2018, 04:18:52 PM
NEO is one of the most promising cryptocurrencies on the market. It competes with coins like Ethereum, Cardano and a few others. NEO provides a platform where developers can build decentralised applications and smart contracts. It is already one of the strongest alts.

Neo has a good chance of becoming stronger. It has strong support from the Chinese people, who want to neo become so strong as eth. For this purpose, they must increase the number of projects implemented on this platform. Then there is a chance to compete with eth.
