1901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for ICO, is it good or bad idea? on: October 17, 2018, 12:34:33 PM
This is a very, very bad idea kyc nobody likes. Kyc must pass current investors who make their money and not bounty hunters. Unfortunately, these projects are not understood and ask for kyc at every opportunity.

In the case of investors, KYC makes sense because it is intended to prevent money laundering or other criminal activities. However, passing KYC by bounty hunters is pointless. They receive a work reward so they do not invest money directly in ICO.
1902  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What am i expected to do? on: October 17, 2018, 12:10:32 PM
I am new to this forum, but i have been into crypto for more than a year. I am loosing some of my holdings due to the fall in prices of my coin and altoins. What should i do please.
Any advise that will be useful is welcome.

Do not react emotionally. In this situation, a good solution is to look through the coins and possibly get rid of the weakest ones. The rest of the promising coins is worth keeping, because eventually the market will turn back and start growing.
1903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think abot ico new projects? on: October 17, 2018, 11:44:05 AM
Dears,
Alot of new ico projects every day.
Do you think all will make thier way to success.
And what elrments needed for aproject to succeed.

It can certainly be said that not all ICO projects will succeed. Many factors affect the success of ICO. Only a few will succeed, because there are few high quality and original projects. Most will fall and be forgotten.
1904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is ICO king, Do you agree? on: October 16, 2018, 06:48:14 PM
I really agree that ethereum is the king of the ICO. every day the ICO is present, almost all of them use ethereum platform.

In terms of the number of ICO projects, eth is definitely better than the rest of competitors. There is a lot of writing about potential eth rivals, but for now eth remains the best platform for the development of smart contracts.
1905  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for Airdrops: A bad precedence on: October 16, 2018, 06:36:27 PM
personally, I have a negative attitude to KYC because your anonymity is lost and I do not agree to transfer my data to third parties.

This is the very bad side of KYC. The personal data we provide may be used for criminal purposes. This is a very big threat to ICO participants. Anyone can use this data to create a false identity as a result of which bear the consequences of the person to whom the data belong.
1906  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: October 15, 2018, 06:02:21 PM
Personally, I will never see this happen. Crypto will exist but fiat will exist as well. They will co-exist because they have different features.

We both need fiat and crypto. In my opinion, we can reap the benefits of both crypto and fiat so why any of the two should disappear?
in my opinion, everything can happen and everything is possible if the development of technology and the development of the era requires currencies that are the same as cryptocurrencies, surely fiat currencies will be replaced

Crypto will not be able to replace fiat for a long time. The entire economy in the world is based on fiat money, and cryptocurrencies are still developing and are a small part of the economy. High price volatility and other factors affect the ability to increase participation in the economy at the expense of fiat money.
1907  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can too many Altcoin's can become a threat to bitcoin's existence on: October 15, 2018, 03:24:37 PM
Altcoins are a threat to bitcoin and a joy to us. A new altcoin can be more modern and faster. Bitcoin was a pioneer but his time is already passing. It's too outdated.

It does not seem that the altcoins could threaten Bitcoin in any particular way. Bitcoin is a value in itself and it creates market events and has more than 50% market share. Altcoins usually follow the direction in which bitcoin is headed.
1908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to known a Scam ICO on: October 13, 2018, 09:32:12 AM
The best way to check wether the ICO is scam or legit is to check the people behind it. Check them and do research on their credibility and their trust rating. A lot of scammers are also posing as other people so be careful of that too. If the ICO is too good to be true chances are it is a scam. Always read whitepapera and roadmaps.

Even a thorough analysis of all aspects of the project does not give you complete opportunity to avoid fraud. Fraudsters are also learning and their ICO frauds are getting better and better, which has a big impact on the more difficult detection of fraud.
1909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My thoughts on bounty rewards on: October 13, 2018, 09:24:08 AM
Certainly, the sale of tokens by bounty hunters has an impact on the price. This is because it suddenly appears on the exchange of a large amount of tokens at a low price. Most bounty hunters try to sell their tokens as soon as possible, even below the ICO price.
1910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple: A long term investment or short term? on: October 10, 2018, 05:43:20 PM
Hi. I think that in Ripple it is a long-term investment. There is still time to buy in order to invest the price at the moment is very small.

An investment in Ripple is only profitable for a short term. The current xrp situation on the market confirms that it is a typical pump and dump coin. And this is associated with potential large losses. Buying xrp should be able to count on potential large losses. This is not a long term investment.
1911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BOUNTY PAYMENT PROBLEMS: Too long to wait before being PAID! on: October 10, 2018, 05:35:24 PM
Many a times, we have had to wit for so long a time to receive bounty rewards. That has been really frustrating for a lot of us bounty hunters. Sometimes, som of us even have to wait as long as four to six months, and if you ask me, I think that is totally unfair to us bounty hunters. I think bounty rewards should be distributed as soon as possible, and not delayed/

Unfortunately, this is a very uncomfortable situation for bounty hunters. Waiting half a year to pay for the work done is too long. But this is an increasingly common practice used by ICO. Even campaign managers are delayed for a very long time with counting steaks for campaign participants.
1912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you think Eth will break $2,000? on: October 09, 2018, 06:22:17 PM
I think that the cost of eth reaches $ 2000 as soon as the uptrend begins ! I think that will be the beginning of 2019.

Certainly, such a big increase will not happen as quickly as you think. Remember the last ath which was around 1,300$. Hence, still a long way to 2k$. The current market situation does not allow us to believe this will happen at the beginning of 2019.
1913  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another December Bull run on: October 09, 2018, 05:13:52 PM
Yes, Bitcoin has stood at $ 6000 this year and this is excellent, but I don’t know it will rise higher in December, but I really hope so.
It depends the circulation of the bitcoin, but in my speculation if the bitcoin will rise this December I know this pattern.

Not every pattern has to be confirmed again. You should take into account what happened after the last bull run. Huge drops during the year will definitely cause that people will be much more cautious when investing money. Therefore, repeating the situation from the previous year is not so sure.
1914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buterin is preparing to leave Ethereum. on: October 09, 2018, 05:05:07 PM
I have just looked at his Twitter and I did not see that tweet. Maybe you found it in fake account. And there is not causes for that, Ethereum is the great project and it will be alive. In media activity of Buterin I see that he is interested in Ethereum.

Even if this news is not true, it can adversely affect the price and perception of eth. Someone must have a purpose in this. Although so far there is no evidence that Vitalik's leaving ethereum will definitely have a big impact on the altcoins market.
1915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are all the bounties coming out right now garbage? on: October 08, 2018, 02:53:38 PM
It is not all the bounties that are garbage, some of them are legit and doing well and some are also not only Garbage but they are purely scam, hunters will only hope that God help them get the good ones.

Recently, we can observe that there are a lot of less interesting projects. Most turn out to be garbage or scams, and the quality or innovation of ICO is also getting smaller. To find a promising project we have to spend a lot of time analyzing.
1916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum vanish? on: October 08, 2018, 02:22:06 PM
I know that this year is quite odd when it comes to crypto curriences. My main concern is Ethereuem. I know that in almost year ago the max price was 1.200$. So i am really cheering for comeback on the some discent values..

It is not so simple that the currency just vanish. Most currencies are going through a crisis now. The fact is that the price has dropped from 1,200$ and that may be a reason to worry because there is probably no chance to return to such a high level yet.
1917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Signature Bounties for Newbies on: October 05, 2018, 02:43:26 PM
After they changed rules and decreased rang from junior to newbie of big amount of bounty hunters it is difficult to give advice, cause in most part of ICOs tasks start from junior level.

So with the current rules of the forum, there is nothing else for newbies but to try to get a level jr. member. With a little effort everyone can reach this rank and then join the signature bounties.
1918  Economy / Economics / Re: When will smartphones used for bitcoin mining? on: October 05, 2018, 02:28:56 PM
i dont think it will be efficient. because there are so well developped and complicated hardwares for mining. especially for bitcoin mining. i dont think it can be done in mobile phones. because they are such small devices.

I have the same point of view, my friend. However, last month I read that such smartphones will exist. Their price (the initial one) will be $999. Honestly, I do not think that this is the best idea.

Maybe this smartphone was made. But its purpose is only mining, because it is hard to imagine using it when the processor and the rest of the components work all the time with full power.
1919  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HOW to 100% avoid SCAM ICOs on: October 03, 2018, 05:34:00 PM
To avoid scam ICO is to check their project carefully. You should have a criteria in join the ICOs so that you can avoid the scam. Me I check carefully the ICOs before I join caused there are lots of people doing scam.

It is not possible to secure yourself 100% against scam. Even the observance of all the rules regarding project research will not give such confidence. There can always be a situation that will affect the ICO proves to be a scam.
1920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin down Altcoin down on: October 03, 2018, 05:24:39 PM
I think there is a connection between these two. We have seen that when the bitcoin grows the altcoins also grow.

If bitcoin has a 50% market share it will undoubtedly have to affect the rest of the currencies. Therefore, all up or down moves result from the direction in which bitcoins follow. Bitcoin is the main currency that affects the entire market.
