61  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: January end , can BTCtouch 9k? on: January 19, 2020, 03:22:26 PM
If Bitcoin doesn't go down in Januari anymore, that would be the first time in 5 years that the price would only go up in Januari, in the last 5 years the price went up in the first half of Januari and then to go down in the second half.

I wonder what that will do to the price if it will only go up in Januari this year would be unique.
62  Economy / Securities / Re: where to invest? on: January 18, 2020, 03:26:06 PM
You really shouldn't invest your Bitcoin with a Website that offers you a % for profits, we have seen it with Bitconnect and many others after that.
There has been to many ponzi schemes with this type of investing and I wouldnt trust anyone.

If u want really want to invest you should just do research in to different altcoins, buy them on a exchange and keep them in your own wallet, there will be way less risk and in the end you will be happy.
63  Economy / Economics / Re: Best Stocks to buy this year? on: January 18, 2020, 03:18:06 PM
Amd in my opinion is a very strong one in 2016 it was only under 5$ per stock and now its 30$+, especially in the war vs Intel, Amd is doing very well in the last few years.
I read a newspaper article today as well that Intel has production problems till the end of the year 2020 and because of that Amd is going to fill all the orders especially for laptop cpu's.

To me this is kinda strange since Intel has his own factory's and can produce as many as they want, But Amd is outsourcing their chipmaking so other factory's are making their chips.
64  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Will Reach $400,000 After Halving, History Dictates on: January 18, 2020, 03:05:08 PM
I think it definitely could be possible, Back in 2014 people where speculating if the price ever could reach 1000$, after it reached 1000+.
People where speculating if the price could reach 10000$+ because of the halving.

So We will see a new all time high price for sure, im not sure what it is going to be but im sure people that actually have a advanced understanding of Economics will have a better estimation of the price then me.
400k$ would be crazy to think but it has proven in the past Bitcoin can do crazy things.
65  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bought this stuff with Bitcoin, great way for people to become aware of Bitcoin on: January 18, 2020, 02:56:56 PM
Yes it works really good, you basicly proving Bitcoin works especially if u started with nothing.

When I bought my pc with Bitcoin friends and family started looking and investing in Bitcoin and Altcoins to.

I imagine it is very easy for webshops to accept Bitcoin as a alternative currency next to the normal payment methods, as a shop you dont need to keep the cryptocurrencie you can trade it for money right away if u want.
You can basicly buy anything with Bitcoin now a day and google is a great tool of finding the shops you are searching for.
66  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here dream of achieving their financial goal in life through gambling? on: January 17, 2020, 03:20:57 PM
Gambling is way to RNG for me, Like I know people who go to the Roulette machines in my City (Not with a live dealer), and they create a system that makes them money because it's a machine and they start to recognize patterns.

I used to try to make a living with poker and even there to me the RNG is to big to handle, while it is really a Skillbased game but also a lot of RNG especially for online poker, and I made it from 25$ to 500$ bye playing sit and goes and cashgames, so I think it is possible to make a living with gambling, it is very hard to do.
You need a very strong mindset and also bankroll management, It learned to be patient and it is a good lesson.
67  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price on: January 17, 2020, 03:14:40 PM
Dont invest what you cant miss, If u want to buy Crypto but have to withdraw it for fiat later I think it is not a very smart investment.
Most people say buy 80% in Bitcoin and 20% in Altcoins, But I am more of a risktaker and buy a bigger % in Altcoins.

At the moment it is rising again and I would wait till the market is falling down a bit again and start buying where you think the lowest price will be.
Definitely do some research in to Altcoins and Buy Bitcoin and Altcoins that would be my strategy.
68  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Ethereum reach the 1400$ mark this year? on: January 17, 2020, 03:08:02 PM
Ethereum always has the potential, to me the price is really cheap right now and it is crazy to think the price is so low at the moment.
Back in the days people where always saying ethereum could pass Bitcoin (The Flippenning) But it never happened Sad

I think we will definitely see a higher price Ethereum this year but 1400 not so sure that is a pretty big price increase, Bitcoin needs to rise a lot in that case.

Ethereum is still one of the main better Cryptocurrencies and really easy to purchase now, if I buy crypto I just buy Ethereum because the transfer fees are way cheaper and now a days you can buy any crypto with Ethereum just like Bitcoin!
69  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Cardano a steal at current prices ? on: January 17, 2020, 02:49:06 PM
I was never really interested in Cardano mainly because when they had the Ico, they wanted to compete with Ethereum and other similar cryptocurrencies.
It was already released in 2015 and never really popped off like some other crypto's so it is not really on my list to watch or buy.

And because of the bearmarket the last years almost every Crypto is a steal in my opinion, you just need to look for the right one's to buy Smiley
That's Why you can better go for the main crypto's because they are a steal aswell.
70  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to protect your crypto against a natural disaster? on: January 17, 2020, 02:42:11 PM
Natural disaster is almost impossible in my country only if there would be some crazy water disaster, where our country floods it would be very bad.
The place where I live is about 5 meters under the sea water level, so if something like that would happen we are pretty screwed.

However the thing I wonder is what would happen when a man made or even alien disaster would happen something like a huge Emp or Nucleair bomb.
If the whole world would be without electricity that way no one is mining Bitcoin or could send it, that would be pretty bad.
71  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Monero Be The Best Investment In 2020? on: January 16, 2020, 03:27:29 PM
I don't think monero will be the best investment of 2020, that is a pretty hard statement to beat anyway.

It will probably be a good investment, I remember the time where Monero was still under 2$ and reading about Monero on this forum, I was sold and started investing in it to.
People here where right about it and it turned about to be a very good investment, the wallet was still very hard to use for a person that didnt know much about pc's, It looked like a simple Ms-Dos window and there werent any advanced wallets out yet.
Now the wallets are more advanced and are easy to use for most people which is a good thing.

I think privacy coins will always have a use, especially with the darkweb markets, and criminals that want to send money in secret.
We will see what monero does in 2020!
72  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHICH CRYPTO MOBILE APPS DO YOU USE? on: January 16, 2020, 03:19:09 PM
I barely use my phone for Cryptocurrency's, The only app's I have on my phone at the moment are:

Blockfolio just to have my total portfolio in there, and easily see what I hold and what price changes it has made.

Coinbase app It was just to do join the earn program and dont really use it.

I dont really like wallets on my phone, what if you lose your phone or it gets stolen?
Also I think wallets on your pc are much better and safer, but if you use your phone a lot I can see how it would be a useful thing to have.
I do see some useful apps in this topic I might check out to install on my phone as well Smiley
73  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Experiment , generate more bitcoin by buying TOP 10 alt-coins 2020. on: January 16, 2020, 03:12:07 PM
I really like this kind of a experiment and I am interested in seeing what it will do.

Also like some of the Altcoins you chose, also that you are making a youtube video serie with it!
Definitely going to keep track of this and hope you will do good of course.

You did however chose to explain why you chose  the top 5 coins, but I would like to read why you chose the other 5 as well, since they are less known to me and would like your explanation behind that.
74  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How we can introduce bitcoin to local people on: January 16, 2020, 03:02:31 PM
I think the best question is how we get their trust in Bitcoin because there are many different ways of implementing it based on previous comments. In my own experience, after a couple of weeks, most of the people I spoke to either forgot about Bitcoin because they are not involved or perhaps even sceptical about cryptocurrencies. Hopefully when bitcoin starts going up in price again people will come back to the space

I agree with this I think most people already know about Bitcoin, like if u dont know under what rock have they been living under?

It has been in the news multiple times, All over youtube, investment brokers, its litterly everywhere.

Most people are very sceptical about Cryptocurrency and don't believe it could work or replace the banks.
They believe in the current system and dont want to risk their money they earned from work in to a unstable currency.

Especially with all the scams and bubble from 2017 they are going to be very cautious with buying Crypto.
They probably just need some time indeed and will start looking at it again when the price will skyrocket and the news starts hyping it up again..

I guess if you want to get local people in to Bitcoin you have to build trust and educate them about Cryptocurrency!
75  Other / Off-topic / Re: Stopping with smoking on: January 16, 2020, 02:49:16 PM
I cannot stop smoking, i have been started on 11 yr. 2001 i try to stop smoking. I don't want to quit smoking.

That was my problem before as well I didn't really want to quit smoking, you really have to make that turn around in your mind Where you say I am not a smoker anymore and really quit.

I believe that vaping is more damaging than smoking cigarettes, and it is also anti-social. I hate it when some weak willed person is blowing clouds over everybody nearby.

Chewing gum is a pretty vacuous habit, and if the chewing gum contains nicotine, then it can led to gum disease.

I think so to my dad used to smoke as well and quit before me but instead of smoking he replaced it with vaping with nicotine as well, there are already news stories comming out where long docters are warning about the dangers of vaping, and the people who visit them increase because of it.
I am like if you quit smoking just quit it totally dont vape.

It's all a matter of will, I smoked a package every day and left it without problems when my son was born

Exactly when my mom was pregnant with me at 28 she smoked as well and she just instantly quit and never smoked again I hope I can do the same thing Smiley

I ask some of my friends, why they don't stop smoking. They said that it is so difficult to stop smoking because they don't know how to stop. Some say that we need to have a strong mind that will always tell our body not to try smoke, but on the other side, our mind will not have the power to stop the habit. Maybe when the time for them is coming, they will stop by themselves.

It is really hard to stop smoking indeed, but I think you definitely need a create a strong mindset to stop smoking, your mind does control when you smoke and you can stop it with your mind.

Base on my husband's experience quitting to smoke is hard because it became a routine everyday, he used to it and started when he was still in highschool. However after suffering from his illness it became an eye opener for him to stop, its not easy but he managed to overcome it. Well he totally quit smoking but now he tried vaping, so far it has no bad effect to him and I think its better because you can choose 0 nicotine e-juice.

It is a routine for sure, I used to smoke after every dinner that was one of the best cigarettes, sometimes i would even wake up and smoke one before I did anything else.
Before I went to bed as well, when you are waiting for the train or bus, when your drinking alcohol , you create these moments where you are used to smoking and you like it a lot! You need to break the habbits and the best thing is indeed to replace them with something else Working out or eating fruit would be a healthy replacement Smiley

76  Other / Off-topic / Stopping with smoking on: January 15, 2020, 03:01:01 PM
I used to smoke a lot of Weed and Cigarettes everyday, I would spend 20 euro every 2 days on it.
The thought to stop smoking was always there, but the enjoyment I would get out of it was greater then the will to stop smoking.

Untill last summer (more then 4 month's ago now) I chose a date 1 Sept and just quit smoking weed and cigarettes that day.
It has been going well sometimes I still crave to smoke weed especially when I meet people that I used to smoke weed with.

If u want to quit I have a few tips for you:
Choose a date to quit, and announce it to people around you.
Download apps on your phone to help you quit (I used Flamy) but I am sure there are others.
Calculate how much money you are spending on your smoking and think about how much you couldve invest in Crypto and think how rich you would have been  Grin
Stop seeing people around you that smoke and find a replacing thing to do.
Instead of smoking eat fruits.

If u need any help you can always Pm me and we can stop smoking togheter Smiley
77  Economy / Economics / Re: Why we must study Economics at University? on: January 15, 2020, 02:52:38 PM
I have always been interested in Economics, I was pretty good at in school without learning, it just seemed logical to me.
But I am pretty bad at learning and have to repeat it a lot of times because it is in my head, so I never really liked learning or school.

I still want to open my own business and without studying business or economics it is gonna be pretty hard, But I feel I am already to old to go to school again.
78  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Death of ICOs on: January 15, 2020, 02:43:25 PM
I think 2017 killed the Ico hype because of many people entering the crypto world and with that a lot of scams trying to profit of those people with Ico's.
It used to be the way to launch a project and it worked really good till many scammers came, I was lucky to find some good Ico's back in the day Like Lisk and Waves but that time is over.

Now a days you have the IEO's but im a bit sceptical about them does anyone have some examples of IEO's that worked out well?
I think the Exhanges have a great responsibility to really protect their customers maybe that is a good thing.
But I can also see some negative consequences, lets say Binance lets his customers invest in a Scam, that would be really bad for Binance and for their customers.
79  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think altcoins will be used for in the future. on: January 15, 2020, 02:37:27 PM
I would hope Altcoins are going to be used in a lot of things like:

Economics and Business
The School System
In the medical field
In politics
Tracking all kinds of Items.

I see a lot of people saying for betting and sportsbetting??
They are already used for that and are in my opinion kinda useless we are way past the stage of just wanting to use them for betting in my opinion.
We should be looking what they could really improve in our daily life!
80  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Satoshi Vision - BSV... Recent push .. CAN IT SURPASS BITCOIN BTC? on: January 15, 2020, 02:27:06 PM
No, it is just a simple Pump and Dump, Craig wright is never Satoshi and the only reason it is pumping is because the Courtdate is comming up and people are just speculating on that.
If u have any money in it you should take it out before it gets dumped again.
The BSV team has embarrassed themselves in various ways, including but not limited to Craig repeatedly lying, and telling people he has 8 billion dollars of Btc.
This latest effort is just an exit pump.
