461  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm not gonna sell any coin. on: February 13, 2016, 03:00:40 PM
No have the same with my mintcoins,

I had the possibility to sell 1 Mil+ coins when they where 60+ satoshi!

I could have tripled my mints, there are so many possibility's to sell the coins at a high price and buy back at a lower price.
But because I believe that the price of the coin will skyrocket, and have the feeling I missed out when the price really goes up
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MINT] Mintcoin - New Wallet v2.0.1.0 - CPU & Bandwidth Optimization on: February 13, 2016, 01:58:38 AM
So guys any news on new wallet? Also feel free to donate to CryptoID block explorer, 20 days left!

The GUI overhaul that I will be doing is currently on hold so we can avoid conflicts with the core update, but it is far from "off the table" entirely. In fact, we're bumping our Qt standard up to 5.5 across the board which already has a much "cleaner" look to it vs 4.8 (and even 5.4).

But will it also be faster?
Because my pc is decently fast and loading the wallet just takes a long time.

Is there like a Lite mintcoin wallet possible with this coin that loads really fast?

That is because new people if they need to download the whole blockchain it will take a really long time.
And when I don't mine for 20 days it takes a long time to load the new blockchain to.

Hopefully the speed is better to in the new wallet, Keep it up ur doing a great job tho!
463  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who controls the Bitcoins? on: February 13, 2016, 01:38:20 AM
Yeh that is the best of this currency, no one controls this coin, so there is no corruption possible like with a normal currency!
And we know Exactly how much Bitcoins there are at the moment and how much we will mine in the future.
It has like a Cap, Bitcoin is Scarce that is why the price is going up there is simply not enough for everyone just like with gold.
464  Economy / Economics / Re: Where did you first heard about Bitcoins? on: February 13, 2016, 01:30:45 AM
First time I found out about bitcoins I was searching for How to make money online.
I found this bitcoin video on youtube, and it was really interesting to me the price was still 5$ back then!
I told friends and family about it but no one thought it was gonna be something good so I missed the boat.
465  Economy / Services / Re: Sending All kind of Weed related Products to you From The Netherlands! on: November 13, 2015, 03:34:30 PM
Merchandise from Netherlands are often checked because there is high possibility of then containing marijuana or other illegal goods, forbidden in other countries.
Are you willing to use escrow and buy all requested items for your own money until someone receive items? After that escrow money will be released.

Well I only think you could get in trouble with the seeds or if you want psychedelica products.
And then if you want those products that are illegal in your country I cant  take the risk of losing my money!

But if you want the other products there should be no risk at all, and I can separate the illegal from the legal stuff in different packages so you have less risk!

And when I send the packages from here I will send them with TNT Post wich will provide a tracking code so you can track your order to.

Hope I Clarified Enough!

469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there a difference between buying shares in the stock exchange and gambling? on: October 26, 2015, 10:29:53 AM
I think there is a big difference between betting and stocks.
Because with gambling there is always someone profiting of someone else his losses!
And gambling is created to make money and it's just in our nature to want to take risks.

But with stocks of course you take a risk to, but I think you have way more control.
That is why there are a lot more people successful with investing then gambling

And lets take poker it's a skill based game but there is also gambling/luck involved.
But you need skills to win consistently, is different from gambling, because gambling only takes luck!

That is why I would rather invest in stocks then gamble my money away!
470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: October 26, 2015, 10:19:23 AM
What I always do is:

First you just bid the lowest amount possible (depends on your bankroll tho)
Of course you will loose a couple in a row, but then is the tricky part because you bet a bigger amount.
I just noticed you always loose a couple then win, and if you bet big when you win, just lower the amount again and repeat.
471  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Refugees Discussion on: October 22, 2015, 09:45:18 PM

Sending 1,400 refugees to a town of 700 sounds  completely irresponsible. That town likely doesn't have enough resources to support an instant tripling of their population.

No they where going crazy there is a funny video about it:
She says: Thick Bmw guys(The guy in the Bmw is the guy who just told them they where getting 800 refugees more)
Then a undercover cop pulls her away, and she dislocates something in her arm or shoulder!
https://www.youtube.com/embed/xQWnhQ0Ksyo

And also yesterday in a little town Steenbergen with 23.571 people living there.
They are trying to bring 800 refugees there this happened:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EH73DMzzVow

So that is happening in The Netherlands for now, and I don't know why they try to put them in the little village's here.
I think because they still have a lot of room to build there, compared to the big city's, and they can easily put away a lot of people

to unlock the wallet:
 settings>unlock wallet OR
Help>Debug Window> type:walletpassphrase your_password 120 to keep the wallet unlocked for 2 minutes

Woow thanks man this fixed it, finally I can exchange my coins to my new wallet!

And I live close to Amsterdam and im wondering what I could do for the coin.
There are like alot of coffeeshops and other weedshops there.
If I could get a few to accept Dopecoin that would be sick.

I mean I think we need a coffeeshop to accept this coin.
That way it will get a lot of exposure here.
473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Start a Gambling Site on: October 22, 2015, 04:21:35 PM
I want to start a gambling site I think it is a unique idea and no other website is using this concept on bitcoins.
But I know they use it for something else and it is really succesfull.
And I already have those website files, so I will only have to change it so that it accepts bitcoins and maybe some other altcoins.

Is there someone with enough coding knowledge to help me with that?
And what would I need to do for it to succeed?
474  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you agree people barrow money for gambling? on: October 22, 2015, 04:14:46 PM
I could only think of one reason where I agree that person lends money to gamble.
That is if he has enough money to pay it back right away, or maybe when he is pro at poker or something.

But otherwise hell no why would you lend money for gambling of course you can get lucky and win.
But when you lose you are in debt so no.
475  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you calculate before deciding to Fold or Call? on: October 22, 2015, 04:08:32 PM
I don't calculate before I fold or call,
It all depends on the hand and the position i'm in.
It also depends what you play 6 or 9 handed.

When I play 9 handed I only play good hands early and play aggressive before the blinds
You got some great website that can help you to become better at poker.
476  Economy / Economics / Re: Making a living online (recreate) on: October 22, 2015, 09:54:40 AM
I really agree coding is the way to go, i'm learning javascript at the moment but it is really hard.
But I found a great website that helps me learn all kinds of coding skills:

https://www.codecademy.com/

The Javascript is a 10 hour course, but i am wondering you have a lot of different options like:
Ruby, html, phyton and I dont really know what to choose maybe someone can help me with that.

Because making a good website is really a good option to make some money, or to start your own business online.

And maybe another idea is making music, it's not online but still on your computer and you only have to make 1 good song to make a lot of money if you do it right!
477  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Song are you Listening To? on: October 22, 2015, 09:46:46 AM
I have a lot of music I listen to at the moment.

Mostly I check soundcloud for new music:

This is my summer 2015 playlist:

https://soundcloud.com/tubsie/sets/summer-2015

But I also have more playlists on there, its good for a party press play and you have a lot of good music there!
478  Other / Politics & Society / Refugees Discussion on: October 22, 2015, 09:42:27 AM
So I am from The Netherlands and on this forum I know we have people from all over the world.
But still we must all think a little bit the same, because otherwise we wouldn't be on this forum together!

And here this is the only thing you see now in the papers, facebook and on the news.
People are going crazy here in Holland, I don't know if you know but we have political faction here the Pvv!
There leader is Geert Wilders, he is let me say Anti muslim and he is pretty popular.
But since the refugee "invasion" He is getting a lot more support, according to a weekly poll they do here for dutch politics.

And there have been a lot of incidents in The Netherlands like:

Some little village here "Oranje" with 700 people in it complained it was getting 1400 refugees.
They succeeded and settled with 700, only later they still had to go with 1400.
They where raging very hard, later some dutch people even attacked refugees.

So it is getting out of hand here and I think if the refugees continue to misbehave, they will get more people that want them gone.

But I think the media is very Anti Muslim and they try to put them in a bad light.

I want know how is it in your country??
Please state the country you live in, and some problems that are happening right now overthere, and of course your opinion about all this.
Also do you think Is killers are between those refugees?

Still holding here,
I've been with mintcoin from the start, mined some, and invested 20 euro!
Ive seen them under 5 satoshi and rise to above 40 but I never sold them!
Maybe if I sold them at the highest point i've couldve gotten alot more but I believe.
At the moment I have 1,4m coins and 300k of them are minted.
But i'm really going to do my best to get more the coming weeks!
I really want like 10-100 million coins, because I still think this could be one of the big coins.

Just want to say keep going mintcoin team I think we are doing really good!
480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is needed to beat the champion: bitcoin on: October 22, 2015, 09:12:29 AM
Thanks guys I already learned some new things from this topic!

!

I gotta tell you that if people dedicate their efforts, time and strength to upgrade, promote and expand bitcoin we would be living in bitcoin world right now. I it painful to see that people driven by greed or other low emotions would create another altshitcoin to pump and dump. Instead of making our world better.

I agree on this, only do you think Litecoin came out because he thought he could get rich with a new Altcoin? while Bitcoin wasnt even that big yet?
I think indeed alot of altcoins try to make money fastest way possible, but aren't there altcoins with good intentions?
I mean some altcoins bring new people to Bitcoin, that maybe never heard of bitcoin at all!
Because if you want to buy Altcoins, you have to buy Bitcoins First.
And isn't that a good thing?
